ooc: I never said Osion was a master of anything that I used. Only that he isn't like a grunt that would miss more often than not. And I like how you interrupted our own actions. You went from setting something up to changing it because it wasn't going to be triggered. Also, one of you have a broken template.
The attack was no at anyones shoulder but at the throat as stated before. And since it wasn't dodged or stopped in anyway it'd go through and puncture the throat of the Pirate. If he died that would be if he could receive the proper medical attention in time. The second attack would also be sent outward without any trouble as it was used in conjunction with the step-back. Though, that would be the only thing that would be going the way of the Woman. As she'd be swept off of her feet, or well pushed in a way that she could fall on her face. That wasn't all that would come as what had been used to throw her off balance would try to strike her once again, but this time for a more killing blow. How this was even do was somewhat impossible since the others, the grunts, would be obstructing the vision of the short Marine. But, that was fine as things that someone things is impossible could just be the product of luck.
Osion could see that when he choose to begin to speak the creature began to move, instead of sticking to it's original spot. Osion didn't know if the creature felt threatened or if it had just wanted to rip his head off. There wasn't time to remove his pistol from his holster and aim properly at the approaching Monster. He wasn't bad within a pistol but there were more factors placed into this moment for him to feel confident enough to use it. That left his sword a thing that all people of his position were required to have on their person. There was one thing that Osion wouldn't change and that was his rush forward after speaking. As that was his strong suit. As stated before Captain Osion's Will, Perception, and Speed were extraordinary even with a missing limb. If you wanted to compare that those were at Tertiary. You could assume that someone like him with the weapons he carried relied on them heavily, but that wasn't the case. He carried them as he knew how to use them and they were called for at times. If he would face someone that was considered a master with a pistol or sword he'd lose horrible. Even someone truly proficient with the weapons would out do Osion. Even his younger Brother has bested him when it comes to using a sword. But, his personal life and history does not matter to anyone here. This battle could be his last.
The waters were calm after Oceanus had left them. The guard from before that had been within the collapsed building and called Osion actually was alright, well not dead. He wouldn't go and join Osion in the fight though, no he'd go piss into the waters. He was just relaxed that he had survived, even though his right arm was broken along with other things. A few people had also come out most accessing the damage done to the docks and surrounding ships. Though this wasn't the main dock here on the port town of Nanohana the amount of damage done by the Sandstorm, and Oceanus, had caused millions of beli in damage. This though wasn't the end of it though as the few ships that weren't harmed would soon be. As something, that ran the entire length of the docks, would rise from the waters. It was known other than a Sea King's Tail, that was resting in the warm waters of the docks. It was massive in length. It wasn't something that could devour an entire Island or even something that was a predator. But, it had come to harm and would rampage. Awaking from it's slumber the pain from the debris that had sunk and laid on it's sensitive body had harmed it in one way or another. It wasn't a predator for this simple fact and stuck close to land also because of that. The blood from it though would spread and catch the intentions of something. It's hiding spot was no longer safe. "Oi, what the fuck." The Solider would say as he'd watch the tail flail around. But, soon the flailing would stop and outward a large dark spot would appear. And the tail would float above the waters but seemed to be being pulled more and more away. Slowly he began to back up. Something had in mere minutes devoured a Sea King that was almost double the size of the docks. Though it wasn't really large and just long that still was amazing and scary at the same time. As that meant something else was lurking within the waters in this area. His slow back away would turn into a limp run as he had to get away from this location.
"TEKKAI!" She'd yell as she'd harden her body. This being enough to nullify the attack that came. It also should be enough to also harm the body part that would attempt to puncture her. But, that damage wouldn't be much as the attack was still stronger enough to send her up at least a meter in the air. The person that would have done the attack would move, and from his appearance he was the only person that could've done this attack. She wouldn't just let herself just float in the air or just wait for another attack, or even to hit the ground. As she'd begin to kick the air till she as upright and higher into the sky, two meters more, and with a view of the ground.
"I don't care about any plans you have, pal. You are just too damn close to my auction, and as a Marine. I also have to arrest you. As you are a Devil Fruit user." Ensign Rose would say. She knew this because he was half snake. He was neither a Mink nor Fishman. And the only way someone could achieve such a form was either through experiments or being a Devil Fruit user. And since she had actually fought one prior to being sent to Sandy Island she felt she could spot anyone that used the abilities granted to them by it. Though, that didn't mean she knew exactly what they could do. If the auction goes well and she also brings this guy in she knew her promotion was going to be even more set in stone.
Fate had made it that the weak went up against the strong. But, who was considered strong and who was weak was still to be decided. Would overwhelming power be what put someone over the edge or would it be the focus on more than one thing. Osion out of everyone here has the most experience but his body was reaching it's limit unlike the others who were within or near their prime.
Once the distance of distance of two meters, by Osion, was passed he'd seem to abruptly stop. And do a back flip, and instead of landing on his feet he'd have the heel of his iron leg to collide with the ground. He would grit his teeth as he'd use his first long range technique that he wanted to save, but didn't want to anymore. With the Monster charging him things had changed. "Hasshoken Ogi: Kiryu Kirikugi!" Osion would declare upon his the iron heel hitting the ground. A black tint covering the entire leg of Osion could also be noticed. The attack he knew wouldn't done on the Monster without proper preparations, so he would target the ground instead. Eliminate the height advantage of the enemy. It would split the very earth cleanly down the street, for a total of twenty-five meters. It would also be wide enough to even make parts of the buildings along the road to dip downward into the thirty-meter deep crevice created. The total distance that was between the two once the attack was done would be just over ten meters.
