Baioretto's attack was a failure, it was true that he had himself an insurance policy which was to get in the blade if the gunshots rang off, it was obvious Baioretto didn't want to take any unnecessary risk but he needed this situation to end, if he was able to dispose of this man he would easily be on his way to freeing Issho and going on with his journey to karakuri to link up with Risaka. But for a brief moment Baioretto was in the blade of Corbin but that moment would end almost as quickly as it began with Baioretto expelling himself from the point of entry appearing just three meters from Corbin. Upon becoming solid Baioretto's hat would fall off as he landed, this was a regular farmer no.. this was the newest of the Supernova!!!! Baioretto D. Fuentes. Him showing up to something like this was more brazen than he could comprehend a the moment, making it off of this island alive let alone not in jail would truly be a testament to his strength and will. He hadn't even realized his hat had fell off yet because that instance, with his body becoming solid, he was already on a motion.

His travel back to the ground had let him activate his 'focus' skill which created a perimeter of sorts for him to "see" through for his abilities to work in a way that he could have never imagined. His movements so fast, so swift it was on a level not even Baioretto himself could even fathom. With his feet planted Baioretto would grab his sword Bori with his right hand off his hip, he would look directly at Corbin and smile, "How do I get into the arena from here?" asked Baioretto, his question wasn't a joke he really needed a way into the arena that optimized the best possible outcome for him.. He had no other way of doing so. His haki was on still and he was feeling everything around him, Baioretto simply had the feel of the air and knew how to get the best outcome. The body of Baioretto surging with electricity, the battle would soon start.

Baioretto had narrowly avoided the first of the snipers' shots, but he'd put himself at the top of their hit list. A well known pirate and current Supernova, the purple-haired man was dangerous with notoriety alone, that notion being further exaggerated by the flashy showcase of his devil fruit abilities only moments before. Yet, before any of the snipers could take action, Corbin did first. The guard held up a closed fist, signaling for a momentary ceasefire and allowing Baioretto to speak, even if only for the courtesy. But, alas, the overconfident pirate didn't spill any words that would change the outcome of their meeting.

"For you..." Corbin said, putting his hand up to his jaw and tilting his head as if he were thinking. "There is none."

With Wado Ichimonji in hand, Corbin lunged forward. The measly three meters between him and his target were covered with relative ease utilizing the raw strength in his legs. Once within range, the guard threw a horizontal, two-handed slash towards Baioretto's mid-section, twisting around as he moved in a way that would put him on the other side of the man's current position and facing the opposite direction he had originally been. Once out of range, the snipers would once again begin firing, three of them unleashing seastone bullets towards Baioretto to put him down for good.

In the event that the Supernova survived the warm-up strike from Corbin, he'd continue speaking. "No personal ill will. It's just business, kid."

Sora would once again rejoin the rest of the Five Hands and the Queen within a few seconds of Hrungnir beginning his attack on Yuurei. The man would rise up from the floor in the same manner he'd disappeared to begin with, arriving with a courteous bow towards the woman he served, not moving until she nodded her head in satisfaction.

The Queen's section was silent as they continued to watch the execution, but the four members of the Five Hands were all on high alert. The release of Hrungnir and Edward Low into the fray made things significantly more dangerous, but they were weary of anyone else that could potentially be a threat to the Queen as well.

Hrungnir had been cramped into a small cage underground for several days. His body was stiff, so the first strike wasn't full-power, but it was far from weak. Yuurei's attempt to blow back the former Revolutionary was met with a sad rebuttal as the took a defiant step forward, almost entirely ignoring the attempt to push him away. The debris that had been kicked up by this attempt pelted Hrungnir's body, leaving small indentations that were quickly filled in. It was also with this defiant step forward the Hrungnir had begun a dash, one that would be sped up once the repelling force was ceased. As soon as Yuurei's gravity was cut off, Hrungnir was leaped through the now tension-less air to throw another horizontal strike towards the thief's mid-section, again threatening to sink the blade of his halberd into his abdomen. This time, the strength of the strike carried with it a gust of wind that was kicked up from the sheer force of the swing, but offered no combative benefit other than a showcase of his true strength.

Reversing his grip, Hrungnir then swung his halberd back in the opposite direction, kicking up an even greater gust of wind. As he did so, he continued to move forward and follow Yuurei's footsteps, using each continuous strike to warm up his muscles and get him ready for a potentially drawn out fight. Following the horizontal strike, Hrungnir would again swing his weapon over his head and attempt to cleave through Yuurei from his shoulder down, carrying an even greater power that would inevitable tear open a modest rift in the ground, not large enough to reach the tunnel, but large enough to prove his strength.

All the while, Edward Low looked on towards Hrungnir's battle, simply enjoying it as a spectator rather than getting involved himself. "The youngins never learn," he said out loud, directed at no more than himself.

Not keen on being ignored by the two newcomers, Big Baby Jones was livid as he approached Edward Low with thunderous steps. Even through his anger, Jones wasn't about to simply step in between the fight with Hrungnir and Yuurei, especially considering the level of strength Yuurei had displayed earlier. Instead, the man opted to take a firm grasp of the Gorilla mink's shoulder, turning him violently as a way to force his attention and vent his rage. "Oi, ape, are you deaf?"

Big Baby Jones - Former Bounty -  80,700,000:

"Hah! Look, that boy Jones' tantrum is about to get him killed!" Soillin bellowed, his laughs managing to carry quite the distance throughout the near empty stands. "Not even Beckham could have seen this one coming." Though he was intoxicated and rather enjoying the spectacle that the execution had become, the warlord was keenly aware of the Tiger mink who had hastily entered the arena and remained as the final dregs of spectators made their way either out of or to the very back of the arena. As of now he didn't constitute much of a threat or warrant his undivided attention, nor was it his job to protect the Queen. She had her 'hands' for that. Directing a smug side eye towards Famine briefly, Soillin gave one more chuckle before looking back to the action.

As Famine pumped and twirled her umbrella, it's weight began to wear on her, as the petals within had multiplied exponentially from her initial one. Small cracks began to form on stone where she stood, but she paid it no mind and made no motion to draw attention to it. More importantly, Hrungnir seemed to be doing fine, and she too had come to notice the unknown Tiger mink. On top of that, it became increasingly likely that her cover as a hand would have been discovered by now, leaving her in a somewhat uncomfortable predicament. Still, so long as she had her parasol, her trump card was still in play. If Hrungnir's attentions were ever brought to the near vacant stands, the experienced veteran revolutionary would be able to identify her custom umbrella almost immediately, having seen it more than his fair share over the years.

With escape so clearly in view behind the two well dressed men, it served as an additional degree of humiliation that Cipher Pol chose to stop the prisoners where they did. No one dared to make the first move, with Sakuma and Issho identifying almost immediately that they were out of their League based on Shoda's reaction to the pair alone. To say they needed to proceed carefully was an understatement. Furthermore, the agents had no obligation to take the initiative, considering their backs were against a literal wall.

In an instant, Shoda was the one to kick things off, as he drew Ichi in a white flash, a crescent of violent air rushing towards Kuro. The blade Yuurei had handed him was sentimental and treasured, but nowhere near the quality of steel his ability demanded, leaving him severely gimped as a result. At least, so long as Shoda continued to avoid further damaging the blade after his initial test run had displayed.

Kuro could see the difference in potency from the Shoda he had once known immediately, and didn't even make an effort to avoid the blow. Instead staying true to his namesake, his gloved hands up to his forearms became covered in his dense coating of Busoshoku Haki, forming a cross to intercept the slash leaving him entirely unharmed.

Only moments after the White Snake struck, Sakuma and Issho silently and mutually agreed to move on Blanc, who had stayed silent during the entire exchange. Issho was the first to step forward, closing the distance between him and the young agent at his top speed, his sword drawn. Sakuma observed from the back, confident that his speed would allow for an opportunity to strike at Blanc.

The second Issho started his advance, however, glass dust began to slowly fill the area around Blanc, the air itself seeming to shimmer. As Issho made his first swing, Blanc gathered much of the fine glass into a solid, clear lance in his hand, intercepting the blade without so much as a scratch forming on the surface. As the two men locked themselves in the clash, the Cipher Pol agent made his superior strength known, tossing Issho back and into the solid mirror wall behind him.

"I believe the order was to kill any potential escapees, correct?" Blanc asked Kuro rhetorically as he lowered the point of his glass weapon towards the up and coming swordsman.

As the dust cleared from Shoda's initial attack, Kuro kept his focus on the White Snake. "Unfortunately so." the Chief replied callously, disappointed in the dire circumstances Shoda had found himself in.

With the situation looking increasingly bleak, the three prisoners knew it would take nearly a miracle to come out of this okay.

The execution was full of surprises. After entering the arena he was subjected to one of the most barbaric executions he had ever witnessed. Apparently the prisoners and other exciting factors were the means of death. He looked up to see that there was a group securing the area in all ways possible. The Queen's and her entourage. They had noticed him but paid him no mind it seemed. There area was vacant and it was one the only one there it seemed from the destruction. But things were indeed as hectic as it was outside the arena.

This is a madhouse. I can't believe the Queen is this close. He would never get a chance like this again. Even still she was heavily guarded and favored with nameless soldiers. It would be nothing short of a miracle to defeat her now or ever. However his attention was also taken from the intense fighting going on in the arena. There had been two other added figures he couldn't quite name.

Apparently the bandit Yuurei was outnumbered in the arena and his opponents were menacing to say the least. But if Johnny did do anything, then there would be no problem. The power he felt from outside the arena was sure to cause a ruckus. Raijin would have to sit there and bide his time, he had the strangest feeling that this Yuurei was someone to watch for. At the moment he would let the festivities going on in the arena capture a little bit of his attention.

While he looked any flaws or openings in the Queen's box. There was Shichbukai named Solin. He was in the News Coo. There was someone else he was unfamiliar with, a woman with an umbrella. Strange for this time of day but must've been for the sun. He was sure they were keeping an eye on him, so he would play along for now.

Marine

Yuurei
Yuurei looked at the man as his gravity pushed didn’t do anything to him. This allowed him to conclude his theory on how strong he was. Somebody around his strength would be able to resist the push of his gravity. That was scary on its own, but then the next thing he noticed was that the rocks that were pushed towards him didn’t hit him. He had a smile on his face because he knew that any of his range attacks would not be able to hit him unless he caught him off guard. He knew that it would be hard to do, which reminded him of the logia ability. He had seen Madori with this ability, but he wasn’t sure if this man had the same ability or one similar. Now that he was able to analyze the situation the fight had started again.

Hrungnir had run to Yuurei, which the thief could see him moving to him. He was quick on his feet and was able to close the distance between them. When he saw the man swing his halberd at him, Yuurei would leap back to avoid from being cleaved by the man’s weapon, but moved Benihime to blocked the tip of the blade from even nipping him. It would be parried to avoid his body, but that wasn’t the end of it. The attack was fierce, which brought Yuurei to smile as was being attacked and pressured to go on the defense right now. His eyes moved on Hrungnir’s arms to see that he was bringing his weapon back at him again. The thief would take a step back again parrying the man’s Halberd with Benihime to avoid the weapon. Then, the final attack was from above, and he noticed it clearly.

This man was playing no games with him; Yuurei swung his right hand upward to meet up with Hrungnir’s attack with one of his own. He had swung his blades as Hrungnir’s halberd would clash against Yuurei’s Benihime and Kusanagi. The swordsman made sure Benihime would take the majority of the impact from the meet, and the ground under them would cave in from both their strength. Another thing he had done was that he armament his blades, the thing about that was that Yuurei could feel that this man was overpowering him even by the slightest amount. That wasn’t good, which he could tell from the trade of blows that Hrungnir was stronger than he was. The thief moved his blade to the side to allow the man’s halberd to slide to the before jumping two meters away from Hrungnir. I didn’t think I would have to use it again, but maybe being crazy is necessary. He thought to himself.

His mindset, and to up the playing field, he decided it was time to see what his true power could do against someone of this caliber. Yuurei took in a deep breath and when he exhaled things got a bit heavier. The ground broke down, even more, the purple aura surrounding the blue aura and his body color started to change into a purple color. The designs on his face appeared once again, and his eyes were different as well. He placed both of his swords in their sheathe quickly and soon enough he dashed straight towards Hrungnir. The distance being closed easily, Yuurei’s hand was already on Benihime and Kusanagi’s hilt. The two blades were also cladded in armament as he pulled the blades out to gain friction and speed from the attack as he aimed it to go vertically and trying to land these two slashes on his abdomen all the way towards his right shoulder.

Still, when he did this he would face Hrungnir afterward with his blades still out instead of being in their sheathe. He wasn’t sure if this would take him out, but he decided to use the one thing he knew could hurt people like him in this attack. He was ready for anything though as he knew he wasn’t out of the park it seemed.

It wasn't really clear what Baioretto was doing here to those who weren't him, it was almost as if he was here just for the sake of doing it but however he wasn't he was here to bolster his ranks and to do that he had to defeat this man in front of him. The question Baioretto asked wasn't one that needed to be treated as a joke no, it was very serious and meant to be treated as such, after asking the question Baioretto stood tall and awaited a response, the courtesy Corbin extended to Baioretto was respected between the two but that was where the respect would probably stop. He wasn't here to kill anyone but he knew this Corbin guy wasn't a push over and he knew that just off the strength of his will, Baioretto and him seemed to be pushing even on that regard. Once Corbin started to talk Baioretto knew what it was already, this man wasn't going to just roll over and allow Baioretto to pass by. It was a good thing he had drew Bori because it was clear that he was about to fight.

The second Corbin even shifted his leg to take off Baioretto was seemingly alerted by his haki that Corbin was indeed coming for him, by the time Corbin closed in within a meter of Baioretto the pirate would throw his blade Bori towards the direction of which Corbin came, it wasn't meant to hit him no it actually flew passed his mid section and but it wasn't flying blade first it was the hilt passing Corbin first, the attack from Corbin was mere inches away from connecting with Baioretto before the man turned his body into lightning, the strike clearing straight through his body, Corbin had his body twisted which allowed for Baioretto to "Jump" through Bori as the shots went off appearing 5 meters away from Corbin roughly in the spot Corbin was originally in during this exchange.  Baioretto would appear behind him, holding Bori with the five meter gap, the shots hitting the ground as Corbin's body wasn't where Baioretto's once was. A field of electricity went off which would push out everything within 35 meters frying all things that come in contact with it, Corbin being so close would have a tough time dodging something so volatile and fast.

After spinning through Baioretto's position with the slash that was avoided, there was little time for the member of the Five Hands to react towards the electric pulse that the purple-haired pirate would emit. The greatest defense he could muster in the split second was a Busoshoku hardening over the parts of his body that would take the initial impact, those being his front-facing sword arm, his chest, and his head. The parts that were covered would give off the light scent of singed flesh, but were otherwise mostly unharmed. However, the rest of his body wouldn't be so lucky, suffering minor burns across the forward-facing parts and a sense of numbness throughout the rest. This wouldn't exactly hinder his combat ability, but it would make fighting far less comfortable.

With the damage taken, Corbin would react accordingly by changing the stance he was in, putting the damaged arm forward and rotating it as if it were a shield arm, in spite of lacking such equipment. If he had to throw away an arm to survive - or potentially pull out a win - against someone as notable as this pirate, he would do so happily, especially with his naming hanging from the Queen's royal guard.

Moving the Busoshoku hardening from his chest further down his arm and onto the sword, he'd keep the hardening intact on the sword arm, sword, and his face as the pressed forward to once again attempt to land a blow on the lightning man. Having his first strike so effortlessly avoided, he wasn't going to go in without Busoshoku from now on. Before he pressed forward, he waved his hand slightly to the side, signalling the snipers above to fire again at Baioretto. Each of the five snipers watching the pirate released a shot, being the pre-cursor for Corbin. The guard pushed off with Soru, covering the ground at maximum speed without any need for a build up.

As soon as he got within a meter of Baioretto's position, he'd throw the blade at the pirate's leg, using his Busoshoku covered arm to throw a punch towards his face. The two attacks were thrown strategically to impact at almost indifferent times, making them more of a threat simply by increasing the amount of attacks thrown.

Snipers:
One Of The Five Hands - Corbin :

Vice Admiral Beckham had given Hrungnier the opportunity to stretch out his muscles and fight a man that was becoming renowned for his skills as a thief and his abilities as a swordsman. But for all stories that he'd heard of Yuurei, the pirate was doing nothing to push the fight forward and make the exchange interesting. A wimpy show of devil fruit abilities wasn't enough to entertain the man that had slain armies in his past, so Hrungnir was beginning to grow frustrated and bored. His facial expression showed the very apathy that was beginning to take over.

The only attempt Yuurei made towards proving that his bounty was something worth having was to once against put himself in high gear, an act that in itself proved how trivial his attempts towards surviving would be. An increase in strength wasn't exciting and the heavy gravity he was now emitting wasn't enough to worry Hrungnir in the slightest. The former Revolutionary's skin began to sag with the added weight, but the facial expression he'd begun to carry was still clearly visible.

Yuurei threw himself forward as fast as he could muster, but it wasn't enough to make a difference to Hrungnir, even with the increased gravity that was now affecting him. In an almost inhuman fashion, the man leaned backwards from his knees, almost appearing to levitate if not for his feet that still held firm to the ground. The attack that Yuurei had thrown passed seamlessly over the leaning Hrungnir, putting Yuurei behind the former Revolutionary without having ever touched him.

As Hrungnir stood himself back up, he spoke, "You're boring. You're flailing around helplessly."

From Hrungnir's back burst forth several [7] spikes of clay, all growing quickly out of his body towards Yuurei. As they moved forward, they grew in size to completely cut off any vision between the two as well as increase the area that would be impacted, making it difficult for Yuurei to simply dodge this time. However, as they closed in, Hrungnir would again appear within Yuurei's vision swinging another powerful, overhead strike down at the thief before the clay spikes would ever reach. The intent was to provide pressure from another angle, as he wasn't worried about being impaled by his own attacks. The strength of both attacks [8] would make them a threat to anyone in the arena.

Raijin was side-eyeing the Queen from his position in the stands. As of right now it was still impossible to make a move on the Queen. Her guards were supposed to be the real deal. Trying to tackle them by himself was foolish. There were easier ways to die then taking that route. However after witnessing the arena being blasted like it did from the powers of the fighters. It was now apparent that he would need the help of the prisoners themselves.

However making a move to free them would be costly. He knew there were snipers out there as they were shooting at someone right now. There was a lot going on but Raijin's focus was on the man Yuurei, it seemed he was the only one around in the arena still to be executed. That power they felt out by the arena was something to be behold. He would need that type of distraction to happen before he'd be able to do a thing. He was confident in his abilities to stop Snipers from shooting him with his tremor ability.

Though he would need full concentration do actually do what he needed to do. It was beginning to seem like he would have to enjoy the festivities. Raijin could also feel the side-eyes of the Hands looking at him from time to time wondering why he was the only one choosing to remain. Maybe he was just a weird one. But that large tiger mink had a presence about him. All he had to was play it cool. He was still surrounded by his enemies in every way possible.

With Hrungnir putting the pressure on the young swordsman, Famine was unsure if her intervention would be wholly necessary. Even still, she held her umbrella firm as she continued the preparation of her Trump card. Never before had she been forced to utilize her ability to such an extent, but for the sake of the Revolution and Marx, she would gladly lay down her life if need be. She had completed her task of sticking close to the Queen of Lulusia, masquerading as one of her hands. In due time, this execution would come to it's end by her doing. Only a few moments remained until she was able to cover the entire island in the bloom.

"Shingan." Blanc said, thrusting the glass lance forward towards Issho's heart, a narrow beam of white erupting forth from it's point. The technique he had become famous for and had perfected, a long range Shigan that utilized a weapon as an extension of the body. It was only now that he had eaten the accursed fruit that he was able to see the scope of his potential broaden vastly.

Issho barely had time to react to the attack, shifting his body as the pressure pierced through his left shoulder and out his back, sending cracks into the glass mirror behind the swordsman. Still, this wasn't nearly enough to take the man out of the fight. It was obvious it was just a display of power, after all. Yet, as he moved to support the grip on his sword, he found his left arm unable to respond to his will, as if all control had been severed. With blood now dripping from his fingers, Issho's left arm dangled limply as he came to understand what the CP9 agent had done.

In that same instance, Shoda moved to clash with Kuro, the sound of colliding Busoshoku ringing throughout the tunnels. The White Snake was faster, and more agile, but each strike he made against the Chief left little beyond a scratch. As Shoda bought time for his companions to either escape or conclude their battle, Kuro moved to wrap things up, taking a firm grip of the old man's borrowed weapon. "Now now, Shoda, where'd you find this butter knife?"

Shoda remained silent, unwilling to reveal the blade's origins to a man who would undoubtedly want nothing more than to kill it's owner outright. Sparks began to fly as the White Snake did his best to protect the blade from further harm with Haki of his own, but the black hand from Kuro was true to his namesake, the weapon violently snapping in his palm as shards of steel dropped to the floor.

Yuurei
Yuurei had thought his increase in speed and the man’s decrease in speed was enough to hit him with his quick attack. He was wrong in that sense as he had swung his blade vertically upward, but missed him entirely. He had didn’t think he was that flexible, but that ability of his probably gave him the ability to move in that way. It was understandable, and he didn’t think too much on it because he knew that he had to continue pressing forward. The pirate didn’t have time to turn, but instead, he could sense the danger that was coming from behind him. He had to use his fighting instincts, and the experience he had gained as the spikes were closing in on him. It wasn’t until he saw another attack coming with his observation. That wasn’t even needed as he could see Hrungnir appearing right in front of him.

He chuckled to himself when he saw the pincer attack that this man had done. It was amazing, and this was a way of fighting. Yuurei was so stuck on finishing this quickly that he had forgotten the basics. The swordsman activated his Gravity Push as a blue aura spread around him pushing everybody, and everything around him away from him with incredible force [9]. This was how he defended himself from being impaled by the spikes behind him by destroying it and pushing it away from him and defending himself from being hit by Hrungnir’s attack by sending him flying away from him. While Yuurei had done this he placed his dial away in his person and took Kusanagi into one hand while holding Benihime in the other and started sprinting towards Hrungnir. When he got close enough to Hrungnir to attack, the swordsman’s Gravity field [9] would expand from his body and towards the area where Hrungnir and he were. This would bring Devourer to have his speed to normal [6], but it wasn’t the end of it.

Yuurei would also bring Hrungnir into the air to float now because of his gravity field as he was attempting to make sure that he would make it harder to avoid his next attack. The swordsman would cross his blades for a second and spread his arms apart to cut through Hrungnir, his right sword, Benihime, covered in armament, was moving to Hrungnir’s right and at the height of his chest, while his left sword, Kusanagi, also covered in armament was moving to Hrungnir’s left and at the height of his lower abdomen. The swordsman would swing his blades quickly to slash through the man at full force [10] to cut through his body. Still, he wasn’t done there, in the situation that he had his attack avoided, block or hit, he would bend his second elbow to move his arms back and swing his blades against Hrungnir once again at the same areas.

Baioretto had used his field ability to get rid of the annoying man known as Corbin but that bastard was very persistent and didn't perish as Baioretto had hoped, he stuck his ground and activated an ability that was foreign to Baioretto which made Corbin's skin almost metallic in appearance, it was the craziest thing Baioretto had ever seen and it made him smile simply. He enjoyed the thrill of the fight and it was clear this man Corbin was game, hopefully. Baioretto, gripping Bori was prepared for whatever came his way, a hand gesture from Corbin caused for the snipers to send a shot off, their movements were on pace with that of Corbin's but the tail was the hand, Baioretto would await the outcome as he perished into the blade, the coinciding timing of this was all strategic. Given the distance between Corbin and Baioretto compared to Baioretto in the snipers played a factor in which arrived first, Corbin had launched his sword and that was all the time Baioretto needed, as the object being thrown appeared in Baioretto's bubble of conductivity almost out of nowhere, was that black energy blocking Baioretto from jumping into it previously?

Jumping through the blade Baioretto would appear just two feet behind Corbin arm charged with electricity and ready to swing, his arm went flying towards Corbin at max speed right to his back, this was 100k Kata one of Baioretto's strongest attacks. The punch was strong enough to put Corbin down but not kill him, that was the objective of Baioretto's attack.. he didn't want to kill Corbin as he thought they could have a better fight down the line, the shots from the snipers would rain in missing both Baioretto and Corbin as they had a fixated position upon release already. For now Baioretto would watch as Corbin went flying into one of the several stands set up around town.

The nature of Baioretto's devil fruit is still foreign to Corbin and the snipers. As far as they can tell, he's simply able to appear and reappear at various positions. Their lack of knowledge on the subject is what grants the pirate a means of travel, as the Busoshoku coverage on Corbin's weapon, Wado Ichimonji, fades as it leaves his hand. Bairetto is able to leap from the blade to behind Corbin in a split second. Corbin was revered across Lulusia for his noble acts in the public eye, but he was never known as a combat expert; yet, this didn't negate the fact that he was expected to be capable. Even with the expertise he'd forged by becoming one of the Five Hands, his speed was of no comparison to that of the man he was facing. He couldn't even see where Baioretto would appear next, simply being forced to rely on his Kenbunshoku Haki to make up for his lack of ability.

As Baioretto appeared behind Corbin to attack, the guard could only Busoshoku his back as he twisted instinctively to face his opponent, yet it was to no avail. Before he could turn, the pirate's strike rung true and landed onto the man's back, sending Corbin sprawling to the ground into one of the nearest stalls. His legs were covered with minor burns and now his back had been struck almost effortlessly by the purple-haired man, but he wasn't content with letting things end like that. As one of the Five Hands, it was his duty to take a stand and fight until he couldn't anymore.

The snipers on the towers once again fired at Baioretto, attempting to give their leader a moment to recompose himself. They'd been firing together and their magazines were running low. They could only fire three more times before the lot of them, all five snipers, would have to reload together.

Corbin drew himself onto his hands and knees, his body growing sore from the constant attacks he'd been undergoing. The attacks themselves weren't necessarily something he couldn't handle, but the fact that he could barely react was taking a toll on the man's mental fortitude. Still, he inched towards the sword that he'd thrown, taking it in his hand and moving to his feet. Corbin held Wado Ichimonji in both hands, brandishing the blade towards Baioretto, who now stood two meters from him.

"On my pride, I cannot let you past. The Five Hands are no pushover."

Letting the Busoshoku hardening fade from his body, Corbin, in defiance of what would normally be expected, sheathed his sword. The injured man walked forward, clenching his fist, moving within arm's reach of Baioretto. With as much strength as he could muster, the guard threw a punch towards Baioretto's chin before letting the wounds he'd received take over, his body collapsing to the ground. Corbin wasn't unconscious, technically, but the fight had made him tired and he'd fallen asleep then and there.

Big Baby Jones had taken hold of Edward Low, who had tried his best to ignore the large man up until then. Even after being grabbed, Low had given Jones a silent moment to rethink what he'd done, but the man hadn't acknowledged Low's attempt at granting him life. Edward Low wasn't violent, but he wasn't going to let people walk all over him either.

Sighing, Edward Low lift an arm lazily. Jones watched, not respecting the action that he was so easily able to see. Without further though, Edward Low lowered his arm onto Jones' face with a speed and power the man wasn't able to react to. Big Baby Jones' face was crushed by the mighty mink's hand, being killed instantly by the powerful impact.

"Fools. All of them."

Edward Low:

Gravity, emanating from Yuurei, would force the air outwards from his position with great power. Even with the large attack that Hrungnir had sent his way, the pirate was able to force the clay backwards away from him, as well as Hrungnir himself. Yuurei had put space between himself and his target, but in doing so, decided to give him his freedom of movement back as well. As the gravity that had been weighing the former Revolutionary down began to reverse, the clay man was raised into the air by the same effect. Not so much telekinesis as a reversed gravitational pull, Hrungnir was given an even greater level of movement because of it.

The Devourer was beginning to rise off the ground, but before he was even a full meter from it, Yuurei pushed forward with two Busoshoku covered swords. The clay man, extending the substance that made up his body, pushed himself further off the ground with an elongated leg, detaching from it as the pirate's attacks followed through. Having expelled the excess clay, Yuurei was given a target to hit while also allowing Hrungnir to freely escape from the meager attack.

With a flick of his wrist, Hrungnir commanded the clay he had just left behind to change form. In a split second it shifted from a pole of clay to several more clay spikes, all bursting out at Yuurei in close proximity to pierce him through without giving him much room to move. Before they were fully extended, Hrungnir would cover the attack with Busoshoku, increasing the power (8 + Busoshoku) to make them far more deadly.

Flicking the other wrist, Hrungnir commanded the clay he'd used to fill the hole leading to the tunnel to raise upwards in one, singular pillar. The former Revolutionary would drift through the air and land gently on the side of the pillar he'd created. Using this, he'd give himself a vertical substance to push off of in order to evade further attacks from his opponent, but as he'd just shown, it could become even more dangerous at his command.

Lady Sofia
[Event] An Emerald In The Rough - Page 3 146911wqewq“Magnus Sofia on the phone.” the man stated, with a commanding baritone, into the Den Den Mushi he held to his cheek.

“M-Magnus? T-the noble of Sofia?” the Lulusia Marine replied.

“Correct.” he replied firmly, hiding his surprise that a lowly foreign Marine would know about the tiny, often-forgotten island of Sofia. Perhaps it had to do with the growing notoriety of her daughter. “I’m notifying that Phillipa Sofia - Lady Sofia - is approaching the grounds of the execution event. We’ve come to help from Karakuri.”

Lady Sofia had told his dad to specifically mention that they had indeed arrived from that place.

“G-got it!” the Marine replied “A-anything else?”

“That is all, we’re notifying our arrival.” the other confirmed.

“A-alright!”
---*---

“FUCK, TURN RIGHT!” Anna Blue yelled, her miniature self within Sofia’s head, peering out of a loophole hidden in the folds of her eyelid.

Sofia, clad in full armor, was blasting through the city, dodging people with hops as her mechanized tread-feet blazed across the ground, leaving a violent comet of ash and dust behind her. She suddenly made the treads screech and make sparks off the ground as she made a sharp turn, to then zoom forwards once she got grip again.

“Where next?” Sofia muttered, manifesting her shield to keep the dust and air out of her eyes as she raced on.

“Man, tell these fucking people to get OUT OF THE WAY, Sofia!” the Navigator yelled, as she peeked out, to then look back at the floor behind her where she had messily splayed her maps of the area, to then eye the outside again.

“They wouldn’t be able to react fast enough.” the noble softly replied, understanding her Marine’s frustration, as she dodged them.

“Jesus fuck - alright, just straight on Sofs. And we’re there.” Anna explained. “See that big-ass arena place way up there? Yeah. That’s where it is.”

“Got it.” she confirmed. “Everyone ready in there?”

“Aye aye ma’am!” the men within chanted, with their long sniper rifles ready and aiming out the series of loopholes installed in the natural crevices around her eyeballs, but with an adequate distance between them and the wall itself.

“Ready, Phillipa.” Magnus Sofia stated solemnly, as his massive form stood imposingly behind these snipers.

“Alright then.” Sofia stated, as the arena drew nearer.

“Perhaps this is what you have longed for, Sofia.” Magnus declared, fatherly. “All of my efforts, finally bearing fruit - a true fight. Destruction always comes before creation - this arena shall be the cocoon of your transformation, the ashes from the which my child shall finally arise as a phoenix - reborn!”

“This isn’t about poetry dad, it’s about purpose, focus now!” Sofia stated. “The Lulusian nobility and their image has to be protected!”

“Very well, daughter.” he replied, to then approach the Navigator and stand beside her, his massive presence being a thick and palpable feeling in the air. “Anna Blue, in position!”

“Aye, sir.” the tiny Marine chuckled, not being used to getting orders from him, to then produce and sustain a wall of air, which was hugging the loopholed wall, with a swift gesture of her baton Clima-Tact and holding this tool against it.

“Snipers, in position!” the patriarch ordered, and the snipers followed by holding their guns right in front of this wind wall. He peered around, noting that he would need to command the other men in here who had the shotgun-like cannons later on, if things got close-ranged. But for now, they would each be in position, aiming out, ready to shoot.

"Everything ready, Sofia!" the man then boomed, satisfied with his skillful positioning of the troops. "Praise the World Government! Praise the nation of Sofia! Let nothing stand in our way!"

Phillipa rolled her eyes at the latter part, but then she nodded to herself and steeled her focus on what was ahead. "Alright!" she exclaimed. "Let's go, everyone!"

The fight in the arena began to approach a fever pitch, with the young swordsman quickly overexerting himself in the face of Hrungnir's overwhelming presence. All the while Low watched on, having dispatched the large man gripping his shoulder as if he were an insect, the explosive in his body detonating only inches away but leaving little more than dust and sand in the gorilla mink's fur. Soillin had leaned back into his seat, a rare moment of vulnerability and relaxation as things began to rapidly conclude themselves, pulling his hat over his eyes in order to take his scheduled nap, not concerning himself with Famine's presence any longer. Even if things got messy, he would be ready.

With a somewhat dejected sigh, Famine looked on as the warlord's attentions drifted elsewhere. Letting the parasol rest on her shoulder help ease some of the immense weight that had accumulated within the umbrella, and if it weren't for the technology it would have crushed her completely. Still, with so many major players gathered, Famine couldn't afford to let things be half-assed. For the sake of freedoms, she would level Lulusia if that's what it took.

With Shoda's borrowed weapon now shattered onto the floor, the situation became far more dire in the tunnels. To the CP9 agents, the two younger associates of the White Snake were little more than distractions. Nearly harmless and able to be dispatched and tossed aside at a moment's notice. However, Shoda even in his current state, represented a potential threat if either one of the two were careless.

To the potential escapees, this was an evident truth. They were completely outclassed and overwhelmed, but to surrender meant certain death. With their backs figuratively and literally against the wall, Issho, Sakuma, and Shoda resolved themselves to move forward, at all costs.

The sudden shift in atmosphere was silent, but noticed immediately by both Blanc and Kuro, who had seen it time and time again. How animals and humans alike abandoned reason when trapped at the end of the line. It was a dangerous position to be in for all parties, regardless of the ability gap.

Gripping his blade in his only functional hand, Issho managed to smirk at his attacker before nodding to Sakuma, who grasped the plan instinctively, nodding along in return as he bent down into a sprinter's stance. Breaking the brief stalemate with the sound of feet pressing off the earth, the hitman known as Scarface launched himself at max speed towards Blanc, like a human projectile.

Simultaneously, Issho moved to support the endeavor by sending a slash of air directly at the feet of the agents, kicking up stone and soil alike into the air, obscuring everyone's vision. Without thinking much of it, both Blanc and Kuro held firm in their position, their Color of Observation letting them get by without much of a hindrance at all.

Yet, the same could be said for the veteran swordsman Shoda, who reached his left arm into the cloud of debris, dropping the broken blade in his right. Time seemed to slow as the White Snake grasped a new blade from veil, Issho's blade, a weapon of significant quality and craftsmanship. In normal circumstances, Issho would rather die than abandon his sword. But the time for lofty ideals had come and gone. A bright flash of white light seemed to dispel the screen of dust in an instant, as Shoda sheathed the second blade gifted to him that day. The glass mirror behind the men shattered, and Kuro was sent sliding back, grasping at a lengthy tear in his shirt and hunched over.

Only feet to the side, a far more conclusive and gruesome scene was revealed. Sakuma Aquaflore, who had made himself a sufficient distraction, had been silently impaled by a number of glass spears, and was pinned to the stone floor bloody and motionless. Only seconds passed before his body detonated, the glass shattering and returning to a fine powder which flowed back into Blanc's body.

Dismayed, Issho looked to Shoda for reassurance, only to find the man kneeling on the ground, his eyes closed solemnly. Speechless, the injured swordsman was at a loss as to why the White Snake had suddenly surrendered, resigned to his fate.

Kuro, however, made it very clear, as he straightened his posture and revealed that the slash delivered by Shoda had only left his clothes tattered, the black hued muscle underneath pristine.
"Was that really necessary, Shoda? Knocked the wind out of me and ruined a perfectly good shirt and tie."

A cold sweat came over the swordsman as he fell to his knees, his head drooping down towards the stony floor. It was over. He was truly in the presence of monsters.

Revolutionary

Raijin
The battle was coming more tense and the final stages were probably on the horizon. The bandit Yuurei was now alone to fight the two surprise fighters. One of the last prisoners on the stage was defeated and killed in a fiery explosion. This barbaric show of force was an event to please the Queen. One of the many reasons Raijin wanted to be rid of the Queen. Through her direct influence, she had affected him in more ways than one. He had dealt fierce blow when he stole the Gura Gura fruit from the Emerald District.

Evading her Holy Knights and the Assassins sent to kill him as well. Raijin still kept a watchful eye to his peripheral. The Queen was still there delighted that one Prisoner remained to be killed. Raijin felt the fight was unfair, told to be fighting for his life Yuurei was going to be killed by another set of prisoners who weren't on the manifest for execution. Johnny looked around the area to see how he could. His powers would not be able to crack the bubble protecting them from the prisoners. However it seemed as if someone already did. A blast to the side of the area went through to the other side. So the man has means of escape. If the man escaped it would cause immense chaos and distract the Queen.

This would upset the Queen and the Marines plans. And it might give him a fair shot at the Queen herself. He was sure he could take her, but her guards were another story. They were more than likely stronger than the Holy Knights. No one to be trifled with. They would need to be distracted as well. All he could do now was wait for his moment.
