The Skycleaver was silent, the sun had risen over the island of Baltigo roughly an hour ago and already Mashyuu and Sky were suiting up to go visit fellow Phantom Raider Dai's ship, the Charon. The pair dressed in their normal attire and Sky tucked her blue hair under the tan skullcap and holstered her two boomerangs on her thighs. Together the duo wandered off the Skycleaver and made their way down the rickety docks of Nill District. "How ya holding up Captain?" Sky asked Mashyuu and the man simply shrugged his shoulders while flapping his white feathered wings. "Those cages were a little cramped, I'm glad that the others were there to help. I got really lucky that Stein saw the logic in helping us escape rather than fighting and possibly not making it out herself." Mashyuu admitted, talking about the last strange adventure he had on Baltigo's Nill District.

After an hour of walking, Mashyuu frowned at Sky and shook his head while adjusting his sleeves. "This is taking forever, are you sure you saw Dai's ship this way?" Sky glared at Mashyuu then leaned in close and whispered into his ear. "If I were trying to get you alone I'd just sneak into your room at night. Trust that your navigator knows where she's going..." Sky brushed her lips against Mashyuu's ear and twisted to walk a little further down the docks. Soon enough the Charon was in view. Sky glanced at Mashyuu and raised her brow while grinning wide. Mashyuu sighed and silently admitted he shouldn't have questioned Sky about her sense of direction.

The duo stepped up to the dock that the Charon was tied to and Mashyuu called out. "Hey! Dai, you up there? We need to talk!" Just after he shouted, a few of Mashyuu's men leaned over the rail and waved to the Captain and motioned for him to come up. Sky and Mashyuu boarded the ship and Mashyuu pointed back the way they came. Alright guys, everyone head back to the Skycleaver and report to Harley and Jarrett." The pirates left the Charon and ran back to the Skycleaver leaving Mashyuu and Sky alone to wait for Dai to show up on the main deck of his own ship.

All was silent around the dock area. Dais head rested against propped up against a few pillows on the couch inside the meeting room. A blanket over his midriff. He held a book up in his right hand and meant to turn the page with his left when he stopped suddenly realizing he hadn't moved the page. He frowned and let out a sigh as the memory came back from the event of the Navy's bombardment of Jaya. his face soured and anger festered in the pit of his stomach as he set the book down on his lap and licked his index finger of his one remaining arm. He flipped the page and continued to read on.

The men outside were remaining quiet mostly keeping to there chores and was somewhat glad to have some company back on the ship. He smirked as that thought comforted him. They had done there best to get the ship to Jaya per his instructions. They had even helped him out in his weakened state by helping change his bandages and bring him food. There were some decent humans on the surface world after all. He had only met Yuurei so far but these grunts were ok by him. The thought of Yuurei made his churning stomach worse as guilt settled in as his mind drifted off to the whereabouts of his friend. He was wondering if his friend had been able to escape from his execution.

He wanted to get payback at the navy so badly not to mention try and rescue his friend. But even in his weakened condition, he wouldn't have been much help. The only thing he could do was to pray his friend was alright. Knowing Yuurei he was probably fighting his way out of it even as he thought about it probably collecting any rare swords on his way out. Having just had his bandages changed he was going to be set for the time being. The trips length to get to Baltigo not to mention the wonderful healing skills that Harley previously had lent to him before he left for Baltigo. He was nearly healed in his body. However, his mind was still a bit frayed.

He was a bit more aggressive he could feel it. His temper which had normally been able to keep in check was sharper and harder to get under control especially if the topic was about the marines. He would have his payback on them and it would be a bloody mess with what they find. He smirked as the image of strewn about body parts and a lot of unrecognizable remains would be strewn about as he exited a marine fort, he would be completely splattered with blood his sword hung over his shoulder while the commanding officers head he carried on the tip of his sword ready to be placed on a pike outside, The pleasant imagery was disrupted when he heard a familiar voice call out. He rang a little bell and one of the grunts came into his room and he turned to the grunt a tstoic look on his face "Bring them onboard." The grunt nodded and would set out the crossing plank to allow Mashyuu and the other person to enter his ship. He sighed as he folded the page in his bookmarking his place and proceeded towards a closet getting dressed and putting on his trademark outfit.

However, his left arms sleeve would hand loosely and blow. He kept the cloak unbuttoned allowing the hilt of his sword to poke out through on his left side as he stepped out onto the deck. A solemn look on his face as he moved towards the captain at his full speed. Just as he was nearly nose to nose with the captain he turned his stoic stone face into a happy one as he reached out and embraced his captain in a one-armed hug and patted him on the back taking a step back chuckling. "Well its about time you got here, what took you so long been going nuts cooped up on the ship I heard you wanted to talk come on to the meeting room where we can talk more freely." He would gesture to the room that was built beneath the deck.

Mashyuu stared at Dai as the one armed Fishman stalked towards the Pirate Captain, and the dark haired man simply glared back at the approaching fishman. Not only was he not afraid of Dai, he knew the man wouldn't do anything to harm him. In a strange way, the two had formed a close kinship and it was proven when Dai wrapped his arm around Mashyuu. Mashyuu hugged Dai back and broke away happily. "What took me so long? I got kidnapped when we landed on the island, had to fight out of an underground fight club and that was when we got here. Lets not talk about the stuff we had to do before getting here." Mashyuu chuckled. Behind the two, Sky cleared her throat and narrowed her eyes at Mashyuu for a moment before putting on a sultry look and smirking in Dai's direction.

"Oh. Yeah, Dai this is Sky the Skycleaver's Navigator and a fellow Phantom Raider. Sky, Dai, the first Navigator of the Phantom Raiders and a good friend." Sky pushed past Mashyuu and extended her gloved hand and winked at Dai with her large green orbs. "Hi there, Sky Sapphire. Nice to meet you sweetie... Ohhh I love the grip, you must work out. Don't worry your secret is safe with me." She flirted while pulling away from Dai and looking past him. "Why go to the meeting room? If we are a crew, we should all talk about things together right?" Sky questioned and Mashyuu nodded his head. "Agreed. Besides I'd like to keep having clean air for a bit." Mashyuu added then walked over towards the edge of the ship near the docks.

Mashyuu looked out at some of the workers and the Captain motioned for Dai to join him, Sky was already moving, her wings folding tight against her back. "So, what are we gonna do about your... condition? Do you want to look for a scientist to build you a new arm? Might need a doctor to help with that too. But Harley isn't going to just be able to make you an arm. Only maybe help fit it for your body. But if we are gonna find a Scientist, Baltigo would likely be the place to do it. Or there might be a Devil Fruit that could help. If Kouse was still around he could have just put your arm back on... but we lost him on Jordsand. He just vanished and even after searching the island with my Observation Mantra, I couldn't pin him down." Mashyuu hung his head low and sighed sorrowfully. He was sick of losing friend and allies and counted himself lucky that Dai had survived. "No matter what, its your body and I'm gonna help you do whatever you feel needs to be done. But I need you to tell me what that is."

Dai's eyes narrowed in bitterness as the man told him that he had been delayed was due to him being captured. His right hand tensed into a ball of anger. but slowly relaxed knowing that if he was here now then he must have had no trouble escaping. He was about to speak his mind in a teasing manner about how Mashyuu got to go to an underground fight club but didn't invite him but that would be most inappropriate. He chuckled as Mashyuu spoke about not having to speak about the things they had to do to get here. He smirked and patted his left arms shoulder in nodded his head in agreement.

"Yes let's not talk about that." He smirked as he was introduced to the sky cleavers navigator. he would smile and take her hand and grip it firmly as she was acting a bit flirtatious to him. His cheeks blushed slightly as he still had her hand in his and gently leaned down and would place a gentlemanly kiss on the top of her hand. "A pleasure to meet you miss sapphire and welcome to the crew." He smirked and gently released her hand. "As for working out well I use to but after my injury, I've had to limit my training for recovery." He smirked and joking flexed his right arm into a muscle and smirked.

He would nod his head as the two had decided to want to talk about on the deck instead of the meeting room. He was outvoted so he would comply. Democracy strikes again. He sighed as he took in a deep breath of the salty sea air. Catching Mashyuus motions hinting for him to join him he would comply. he had no reason to distrust the man. He smirked and clutched his left shoulder as he spoke. " My condition is manageable... but, I have been doing some digging into a new ar and all I need would be a scientist to build it no medical doctor required. On the other hand, a devil fruit would be interesting but the downside would be not being able to swim so I think for now a prosthetic will do perhaps hunt for a devil fruit in the future. It wouldn't have mattered I lost the arm when I got hit even with a devil fruit I had no clue where it went or even if it were salvageable. My advice don't get hit by a cannonball that shit hurts."

He chuckled and released his left stump of a shoulder and placed his hand on the railing of the ship and stared out onto the horizon. He turned his head and nodded his head gratefully at the captain's sentiments on doing whatever needed to be done to help out dai. "Scientists are hard to find these days it seems though but I have time and patience at least I didn't lose my dominant arm that woulda been much worse so I'm just glad I can still fight at this point."

"Yeah, well lets-" Mashyuu went silent at the sound of two dock hands talking near the ship. "I don't think there have been enough ships docking this month to pay the fee. Do you think the Master is going to pay out of pocket? He can barely afford to pay us as is." One of the men stated. "Yeah... I've lost three days this week. I'm barely keeping my family fed at this point." The other stated with a sad look on his face. Mashyuu glanced at Dai while Sky walked up to the Fishman's side and rested her head on his shoulder. "So. Is the Gentleman with the strong grip gonna offer these men his help or his he going to be a pirate through and through and make things even worse for them?" She asked. Mashyuu didn't wait for an answer as his wings spread and flapped twice, carrying him off the ship to land next to the pair of workers. "Protection money? Someone putting their influence on the Docks or the district in general?" Mashyuu asked, almost fuming, knowing that he needed to track down the person who was in charge of the fight club and helped to capture Mashyuu just a few days ago. The two men looked at one another, unsure if Mashyuu was someone to be trusted or not yet then pointed to a long house at the edge of the docks. "We shouldn't say. If you want to know, you should talk to our boss. He's in that long house." One of the men stated. Mashyuu nodded his head then turned back to Dai and Sky. "Hey come on, we might have a job to do, or a lead on someone who is dealing damage to Nill District instead of helping it flourish!" In his mind, before the Raiders arrived on Baltigo, Mashyuu was going to set things right here and the Nill District was the perfect place to start.

Mashyuu walked towards the long house, the building put together with nails and sheet metal. He could already feel how flimsy and easy it would have been to pull apart and take down. Mashyuu sighed with sorrow at the terrible state of the buildings here. It was terrible how these people were living and it made Mashyuu's blood boil. "Dai, we are gonna turn this place around. Nobody should ever live the way I did and this is almost worse. They aren't slaves but they have no chance to better their lives.... Sky, go scout the building out, make sure nobody is lurking around the outside of it while Dai and I have a talk with the guy inside." Mashyuu stated with a dark tone. The normally flirty Sky reached down and grabbed her boomerangs, ready to draw the bladed weapons if needed and walked off towards the side of the building to start scouting.

Mashyuu flicked his wrist and the door to the building pulled open, the metal door creaking loudly. Mashyuu gave Dai a moment to ready himself then stepped up to the building and entered it, making sure to shut the door behind the Pirates. "You must be the dock master. I'm Mashyuu Ishi and this is Dai." Mashyuu gestured between the two Pirates and stepped up to a desk at the end of the building where a tall slightly older man with grey streaks in his hair sat. He wore a purple suit that had clearly seen better days but he was trying his best to look like a professional. The man took one look at Mashyuu and Dai then held his hands up. "Look, I told your boss that I can't pay this month and I'll gladly pay double next month to make up for it!" The man shouted. Mashyuu stopped and looked to Dai confused for a moment. "You got us pegged for someone else. Do I look like I run in a gang?" Mashyuu stated while flicking his wrist at the door and causing it to lock.

Slowly Mashyuu took a seat across from the Dock Master and folded his hands on the desk. "We are actually here to offer you some help. We heard some of your men talking by our ship about paying protection money and not being able to pay them. So I'd like to make you a counter offer. I'm the Captain of the Phantom Raiders, maybe you've heard of us. This is one of my crewmates, Dai. Tell us about this gang. If you do that and pay us a quarter of what you pay them.. and might I add, only one time. We will hunt these guys down and make sure they don't ever pester you or anyone else in Nill District again." Mashyuu glanced to Dai as if asking if he had anything else to add or say.

"The Phantom Raiders? Holy crap! You're wanted criminals, and not the kind to take lightly! If you're the Captain.... Do you know what your bounty is!?" Mashyuu chuckled under his breath and nodded up and down. "One hundred and twenty-" "You don't know your own bounty!? It's gone up a bit.... Look. I can't afford your help and I don't want any trouble." Mashyuu sighed and felt a swell of pride, he had no idea what his bounty was apparently but it was higher than he remembered and that was a good thing to him. "I already told you our price. You save money long term, and short term. Plus you can pay your workers again. We are gonna make sure the people of Nill District live a better life." The dock master frowned for a moment then drummed his fingers along the desk and shrugged. "Guess I really don't have anything to lose on this one. You're looking for a group called the Hopeless Ones. There are six of em. Their leader is a guy named Lance. He carries a large ball on a chain. There is a young woman with them too. I think it's his girlfriend or something, she carries a flute or something like that. But it looks like a weapon too. Then there is a guy who is almost animal like, sharp fingers and sense of smell. A man who carries spiked yo yo's and twins. The twins came by yesterday and said if I couldn't pay them, then they would burn the docks down tonight. I thought you were members of the gang I haven't met before. If you can really take these guys down you're going to do a lot of good for the docks and help Nill District out in the process."

"Well we know when they will strike, and where. All we really have to do is wait for them to show up. Dai, think you and Sky can handle half of them? I'll take the other half. Sky isn't much of a fighter, but she has a bit of skill and is good support. She will at least be able to keep things from getting too overwhelming for you." Mashyuu then extended his hand towards the Dock Master. "Don't worry, the Phantom Raiders will keep your docks as safe as possible and I'll have my men on stand by to help put out any fires if needed." The man stood and shook Mashyuu's hand firmly, accepting the deal. After all if Mashyuu failed the man would lose everything anyway. What did he have to lose?

Dai could not help overhear the conversation between the two dockworkers. Seems that they were being squeezed out by a group. It was a shame that crime worked liked that taking "protection fees" from the hard working lower class. It was not fiar at all. His squeezed his right hand into a tight fist as he felt something rest against his shoulder. He was unaccustomed to having someone rest upon his shoulders especially a women. He narrowed his eyes at the women as she spoke and let out an exasperated sigh. As he was about to speak Mashyuu took off his wings flapping into the air a smirk on dais face. "Well, I suppose I could use a good warm up."

He sighed and cracked his neck to the left the cartilage cracking as he let out a sigh of relief. He nodded his head and gently removed Sapphire from his shoulder and proceeded off the ship. His left arm of his cloak flapping in the wind while his right hand lay on the but of the sword ready at a moments notice to draw it if need be. Sure cutting up some thugs would help but it wouldn't solve the problem fully. Unless that is they were to take this island. Was that his friends plan all along. His lip curled as he smirked at his crafty friend.

He would need to confirm his suspicions later on in private between them. He heard a door swing open to the side and smirked. It seemed the captain had picked up a trick or two while they had been apart most interesting indeed. He smirked wider and would follow after the captain his heart pounding happily the onset of a tempo played inside his head. He was going to be going into battle again. A tinge of excitement mixed with fear was in his stomach. He had always used his arms in swinging his sword now he was down one.

He stepped inside the following suit as the captain explained who they were and dai merely gave a curt nod as he leaned up against the wall. He smirked as the captain stated his old bounty and would speak up after everything had transpired no need to interrupt such almost provocative and more than likely lucrative proposition. He caught Mashyuus glance and sighed. "A quarter sounds more than fine but Sir, only getting rid of the grunts won't do much, we would have to go after the complete leadership to eradicate any retaliation to mention there could be a power vacuum unless we did something more permanent about it, Also your bounty is at 155 million now just so you know."

He scoffed after the dockmaster spoke about the six people. Six people was no issue for them they could easily take out more than that combined if they wanted to. His pride was rearing its head once again. "I only got one question where is their base?" He continued to lean against the wall as he cracked his neck to the right in somewhat impatience. He could feel his blood pumping adrenaline this fight was going to be most interesting with only using one hand who knows he might actually get hurt or at least break a sweat. He licked his lips below the collar of his cloak and stood up straight and wait for the next orders from his captain. it would feel good to be doing a noble deed such as this and be a good way to vent his frustration out on the navy. His mind drifted off towards Gideon wondering where their lumbering giant cook had gone off to.

"The location of their base isn't important. To burn down docks of this size, they will need all hands on deck. Besides this gives us time to get ready. Get your sword and meet me at the Skycleaver." Mashyuu ordered while standing then bowed to the Dock Master and unlocked the door while walking towards it. "I suggest you don't be here tonight, for your own safety, and keep your men from working tonight too." Mashyuu instructed the Master then left the long building only to be greeted by Sky. "Why am I fighting exactly?" She asked and Mashyuu shook his head side to side while smiling. "You've been mostly on that ship since we met. I thought you might want some time to get off the boat for a bit and stretch your legs since your wings can't really do it." Mashyuu explained happily and wandered off towards the Skycleaver. Sky glared at Mashyuu for a moment then forced her wings out as far as she could, one stretching wide, the other only making it half way due to its mangled bones. She sighed and sauntered back to the ship, sure to remember she needed to push Mashyuu overboard once while they were sailing.

Back at the Skycleaver's main deck, Mashyuu stood with a short blade in his hand, whipping the thing side to side while he waited for Dai. All ten of his deck hands stood around, waiting for Dai to appear. The moment he arrived Mashyuu stopped swinging the blade and looked to his men. "Alright everyone, you know the plan for tonight. Stand by, hidden on every other port of the dock. If a fire breaks out put it out asap. Stay out of danger and dive into the water and head back to the Skycleaver or Charon if you need to get to safety." Mashyuu clapped his hand once and the ten men and women all scampered off to take care of their duties on the ship. "Draw that sword Dai. Swing it a few times." Mashyuu ordered the man and watched Dai's stance carefully, inspecting him for lack of power or grace now that he was missing a limb.

The Captain shook his head side to side sadly. "No good, your entire fighting style needs to change. You don't have the strength in one arm to fight the way you used to. As I thought. So you can either get faster, or let a different weapon do the work for you. I have a light sword you can use, and I have a morning star. So what do you want me to teach you how to use? Because we don't have the time to change your entire fighting style right now. I'll teach you one of my attacks that might help you in a pinch with either one of those weapons if used correctly. So... The choice is yours Dai."

Dai nodded his head as Mashyuu spoke to him about finding their base wasn't important. Of course, it was important they could do a preemptive strike upon them before they were to attack the docks. Not to mention prevent and collateral damage to the docks themselves. He was going to argue but it wasn't worth it. He merely nodded his hand and pointed at his sword which was always on his person. "Never leave home without it Mashyuu you should know that by now." He looked after Mashyuu as he left the building and would follow suit turning his head towards the dockmaster. "I would do as he says he's usually right about this sort of shit and I would hate to have any innocent workers caught up in this mess."

He turned his head and body back and slowly followed after Mashyuu closing the door behind him as he left. things were going to be getting interesting this evening. He could use a little bit of fun, to be honest. Might help his reflexes improve a bit to if he got in some practice. Dai, however, remained verbally silent as he followed behind the two as the headed off towards there own ship. He didn't ask why they didn't just come back to the Charon since it was the closest ship but he was somewhat intrigued.

He would board the ship and look around. He didn't get a chance to get a good look around since the last time he was on it he was bleeding out and semi-conscious. He listened as once again the captain would speak to the crewmates and clap his hands and they all scampered off like roaches to do there tasks. It was somewhat comical and frightening at the same time that the kind Skypian he had met so long ago had achieved so much since they were separated.

He didn't need asking twice as he reached with his right hand and drew Yubashiri from its sheath. The blade immaculately polished and sharpened. The dancing light of the sun reflecting off the blade. It felt good to have it in hand again. The feel of the wrapped handle around his skin was comforting to him and he lazily gave a few swings then slowly he moved his back leg behind him and proceeded into a guarding stance his right hand holding his sword pointing forwards at an invisible foe. He smirked and would bring his sword to his left hip the blade pointing at the beck as he would swing his sword upwards and step forward and repeat this until he heard Mashyuu speak.

He gritted his teeth in annoyance at the captain as he criticized his fighting style. he already knew he wasn't going to be the same without his other arm he did not need a reminder. He slowly began to grin his teeth back and forth in agitation. He took a calming breath. "I know I won't be the same till I get a new arm you do not need to remind me of that, but I will not abandon this blade until the day it is beyond repair, its a dear treasure to me and I shall not cast it aside to make it easier for me to attack." He sighed once again as he slowly inhaled through his nostrils and exhaled through his mouth calming himself down. Pushing the fire of rage he had growing upside him down into his gut. "I think I will choose to become faster since I'm sticking to what I just said and as for one f your techniques well that may come in handy teach away oh great and wise Mashyuu-sensei." he smirked and would take a knee and would observe him for now. they had time to kill till sunset.

"You're stubborn and you're never going to learn by being stubborn." Mashyuu spat in annoyance then held a hand out as if to tell Dai to wait. "Jarrett! Go to the forge and fetch the two swords that are hanging on the walls up down there. The Katana and the Bastard Sword." Mashyuu shouted then turned back to Dai who was on his knees. "What are you doing? Get up." Mashyuu gestured and Sky started to laugh off in the distance, watching from the crows nest of the ship. "First of all, I'm not asking you to just give up that sword. But it's a two handed sword that you have to learn to use with one hand. That's gonna take time. It's not meant to be used with one arm." He explained while Jarrett climbed up to the main deck with two swords slung over his back in scabbards. Mashyuu walked over to Jarrett and picked up the Katana, it was slightly shorter with a white handle and brass hand guard. The pommel of the weapon was also brass and had a dragon carved into it while the guard had clouds cut out of it and smoke carved into the remains of the brass. The blade was long but roughly three inches shorter than Dai's weapon. "I made this for Yuurei. It's called Downpour. Compare it's weight and length to your blade." Mashyuu tossed the weapon to Dai and waited for the man to do as he requested. "So here is what I'm suggesting. Don't abandon your sword, just use that one for this fight, get used to swinging a weapon in a new way then go back to your old one." He gave Dai a chance to consider what he was saying while drawing his cane blade and swinging the light weight weapon around so fast that the blade nearly vanished in the wake of the cuts the Captain made. Mashyuu already favored a quick style that ended with powerful strikes to finish an opponent off.

Once Dai had settled in Mashyuu started to explain the attack. First he moved three barrels and stacked them two at the bottom and one atop in the center of the other two so that it represented a man. "This is called Skyfall. It's a finishing move for me, but if you use it fast, you might just be able to use it as a basic move. The idea behind it is a two fold attack, a quick motion that slashes... when used with a blade, or staggers when used with a blunted weapon. You swing the weapon up the body like so..." Mashyuu slashed up the barrels, missing so that he didn't damage them while jumping up. Once he was at about "Shoulder" level he flipped the sword up into the air and brought it down on the false shoulder as he came down to land on the ground. "The second strike is the kill or crippling shot. You want to let the weapon do most the work here. Put force behind the upward swing when you jump. Normally I fly... But you can't so... yeah. Anyway once you jump flip the sword from facing the ground so that it's blade is pointing up into the sky, then bring the sword down on your foes shoulder. Cut up the body then smash the shoulder or head." Mashyuu took a step to the side and repeated the motions so that Dai could study them. "Give it a try."

Dai would shake his head as Mashyuu was calling him stubborn. Sure he was stuck in his ways about wanting to use Yubashiri. It was apart of him it had been through much of his journey and his training. "While I accept your criticism I may be stubborn but I have been through a lot with this blade and if I can't learn to wield it with one hand what use is it to have, it would be nothing more of a reminder of the times when I had both my arms intact." He gripped Yubashiri with his right hand tightly and he smirked as he was asked what he was doing when he was sitting on the deck.

"What I'm observing your technique that you were about to teach me. In this way, I won't have to strain my neck to watching your footing process with the attack." Not to mention he was a bit tired from swinging the sword about he would never admit it out loud though. He did not want them thinking he had gone soft. "Untrue there have been countless people who've used katanas with single hands of this length but I don't wish to argue I will primarily be using Yubashiri at least that is till I get my new arm or devil fruit that will fix me whichever comes first, then I'll be switching to two sword style." He spat to the side as he watched as the one known as Jarett went and was told to fetch some weapons from down below.

He jumped to his feet as the blade was tossed at him quickly sheathing his blade back into the left side as he caught the blade. "Downpour huh, interesting name." He placed the scabbard between his thighs and pulled the sword free and held it out straight. Keeping his hand steady he would stare down the blades back. It was a decent blade little shorter than what he used to however it had a good weight. It was a bit lighter than Yubashiri as well. "I nearly forgot you were a blacksmith haha, this is good steel. I'll gladly take the blade though it's always handy to have a backup." His brain brought images to him as he remembered when he was in Skypeia when he had been disarmed at one point."

Dai studied intently the way Mashyuu body moved. Watching each and every join he could. Studying deeply his mind focused on learning this new technique. It would be sure to come in handy it was somewhat reminiscent of his rising shark technique. Except there was a secondary strike to it. He smirked as he moved towards the barrels and began to try to mimic the movements purposly missing at first. he didn't want to damage the dummy just yet oh no no he wanted to learn this as best as he could.

He failed a few times slicing outside the barrel however it was on purpose. He took a deep calming breath and narrowed his eyes as he imagined a marine soldier holding up his severed arm as a trophy. He growled lightly in his throat and would bend his knees and slice upwards along the barrel's mass flipping the blade around and he would let out an animalistic primal yell as he swung downwards smashing the blade into the barrel. He pulled himself as the barrel down the center was cleanly cut down from the top left where the shoulder area would have been on the dummy. " Kinda like that huh, and I don't mind not being able to fly least I can still swim." his tone had been comical as he continued to twirl the handle of the blade in his hand over and over again.

Mashyuu's eyes narrowed and his head tilted to the left in annoyance. "You forgot I was a blacksmith!? And here I thought you were going to carry my swords around with you even after I was dead. You son of a bitch..." Mashyuu half chuckled but the other half of him was one hundred percent serious. As it was, Mashyuu decided to move on and continue to teach Dai his favorite attack at least he was about to when Dai said he would keep Downpour as a backup weapon. "First of all, my weapons aren't 'backup' weapons. Second, that's actually not for you. It's for Yuurei if Gideon can manage to spring him from Impel Down... that's where the giant went if you're wondering. Things are going to crazy with all our groups to divert too much from freeing Baltigo, and Gideon feels honor bound to save Yuurei so I told him to go with my blessing." Mashyuu went on, making it clear that he wanted Downpour back. "But if you want a new sword, I'll make you one." He offered.

Mashyuu stood aside and watched as Dai moved to mimic the Skyfall attack Mashyuu was teaching him and at the same time activated his Observation Mantra while slipping his sunglasses on to hide his eyes turning a softly glowing red. He could sense the rage building in Dai and could even see it thanks to the haki, Mashyuu shook his head and frowned. "You keep letting that rage guide you and you're never going to truly recover. You had no control over that cannonball or your own course of motion after being tossed.... May I give you an example?" Mashyuu asked while stepping in front of the dummy he had made. "Ever play baseball? While you have hold of the ball, you're in complete control of the game. However once you throw the ball there is nothing you can do to effect the game anymore. Dai, life is the ball. If you get angry and throw the ball like that, it goes all over the place... You can get angry and stay angry, let it guide your path, or you can guide your own path and control the ball straight down center plate. So, what are you going to do? Take a few minutes and think about it." Mashyuu took the bastard sword he had crafted and slapped Dai's knees with the weapon only hard enough to get his attention. "Jump higher next time. Try again." Mashyuu grumbled in an annoyed tone.

/me he smirked as he listened to Mashyuu half sarcastically complain about him. " I was just pulling your leg captain take it easy." He chuckled and began to cough gently at first then violently into his shoulder.  He hoped he wasn't getting sick as he cleared his throat and shook his head. "I'm ok  I think some air didn't go down the right tube."  He spat over the side over the ship into the ocean as he nearly dropped his sword into the ship as Mashyuu explained where Gideon had gone off to. "You sent Gideon alone off to impel down!?"

Ge gripped the sword tightly as the thought of Gideon trying to get into the prison alone was more than suicidally idiotic. He growled as he turned his body in anger at the captain his pupils dilated. His right hand was shaking in anger and concern. "Are you insane impel down is a fortress, Have you no regard for your crewmates lifes!?"  His sword was raised as he pointed the blade at the captain. However, he took a few calming breaths a vein was protruding out to the side of his head. He could not let his friend go to impel down alone to take them on to save Yuurei.

It was his responsibility as a crew member and friend to Yuurei to help him out as well. He could not leave his friend to rot in jail he needed to wrap this up and meet up with them. "Besides Yuureis not even there anymore." He put the weapon down after having listened to what the captain gave as an example of a game called baseball. he had never heard of it before. Perhaps it was a human game. He merely shrugged his shoulders as the captain explained then rudely hit him in the knee with the bastard sword to get his attention.

He reached into his pocket and threw the news coos article page at the captain's feet containing the article about Yuurei's execution date. "He's set for execution they more than likely already done it, but knowing Yuurei he caused a bit of an uproar and maybe goI out of it don't know I can't see the future,But now you sent him on a fool's errand and now we're more than likely going to have to rescue Gideon from impel down." He sighed as he picked the sword back up. "I have every damn right to be pissed about my arm, but yes there was no controlling it while i was airborne but still I have a right to be pissed at the navy officer who ordered the strike on the island in the first place."

He returned to practising the sword technique spending most of the day practising until finally at last nightfall began to come. Having taken a break he was still somewhat pissed at the captain thinking he knew what he was angry about his arm. Of course, he had a right to be pissed off he lost his freaking arm.  A cigarette was in his mouth as he stared off into the faint glimmer of the remaining sun. Taking a drag from it and flicking it overboard as the sun finally fully set. It was now night and soon those goons would be coming. He looked around and poked one of the grunts in the side that remained on the ship. "Go get Mashyuu its about time for the gang members to be showing up soon." He nodded his head as the grunt took off to go and find Mashyuu on the ship he drew the blade downpour and stared into the blade examining the craftsmanship further.

The red eyes of Mashyuu narrowed in annoyance at Dai and his assumption that Mashyuu had sent Gideon off on his own. "No, I didn't send Gideon off alone nor did I let him go. Honestly I wouldn't have allowed him to go if he were any size that wasn't a giant who could capsize my ship with an entire crew on it..." Mashyuu growled, with a silent rage that wasn't letting up as he spoke. As Dai pointed a sword at Mashyuu, the Captain glanced at the blade and a slight force of magnetic power started to tug and twist at the tip of the blade in case he needed to yank or push it. "Are you stupid enough to think that anyone could convince that giant to turn around or not try to help Yuurei? You think I don't want to help him? It's not that easy Dai. I can't risk those who aren't on my crew, like Percila, and those who have no chance to defend themselves against the type of people who will be at any place Yuurei is getting killed at. It wasn't an easy choice for me to not go straight after him. And I tried to when he got taken from the island. We all did! You don't get to pass judgement on me for keeping the many safe in place of the one who was stupid enough to go after a bounty on his own, and with a bounty of his own to worry about no less!" Mashyuu's voice steadily rose until he realized he was screaming and had completely lost his temper for the first time in his life, all the regret and sorrow, not to mention anger, he had been building over the past few months all came flowing out at once.

Mashyuu drew a soft breath of air and closed his eyes for a moment and deactivated his Observation Mantra. He pinched the bridge of his nose as the news coo clashed against his chest and fell. Mashyuu didn't even bother with the magazine published by a group who could easily skew things to lie to the public. "I don't know why you pay for that trash..." Mashyuu muttered before walking off to let Dai practice... That night Jarrett returned to Dai and started to laugh at the Fishman. "The Captain's already left and left us orders to get into place around the docks, you better get moving to catch up to him. Said something about waiting at the dock masters building, expecting them to want and force the guy to watch the place burn." Jarrett explained then took off, sword on his waist along with a large bucket to fill with water if needed.

An hour later, six figures stepped onto the rickety docks, in the center two figures stood in front of the rest. One, with black and spiked back hair, wearing black pants, a black leather jacket with matching gloves rolled his shoulder causing the heavy chain slung over it to rattle. The massive iron ball connected to it swayed. Lance couldn't help but grin ear to ear while he unzipped his jacket to expose his bare chest and abdomen as if he were cooling his skin off. He half looked to the man standing to his right and nodded at the dock masters building. A young man with blonde hair who looked animalistic with sharpened nails rolled his neck and started to stalk towards the building, his brown uniformed body swayed side to side as he approached the door. Behind him a pair of men with sickly almost grey skin and no hair but dressed in the same uniform started to walk towards the building.

Atop the building, laying down on the roof was Sky, her boomerangs drawn, she waited for the right time to make a move. Mashyuu had asked Dai to wait in the building and attack when the door was opened and the Captain stalked up behind the gang with his cane sword in hand. He waited to make his presence known until the men walking towards the building had opened it and Dai made his move...

He could see the glared look of annoyance at him as he had spoken rather rudely to his captain and had pointed a weapon at him. He took a few calming breaths and looked into the captain's eyes and listened as he began a rather long lecture to him. "I'm sorry your right Gideons size does make it difficult to argue with him, but he should respect a captains order no matter what, we may be pirates but we have our own code of honour we live by. Also, I'm sorry I shouldn't have snapped at you like that."

He had felt the slight pull from the blade but he paid it no mind. He just thought it was him being not used to holding a sword. He sighed and took another calming breath as he began to speak about Yuurei. "You think it wasn't any easier for me either, you know about my past you think I didn't want to get out of my bed the moment I read this article about his execution date. I didn't know he went after a bounty he should have known better than that." Pausing for a brief moment to take in some air he would collect himself and begin speaking in a calm and collected manner. "That man no that boy was always thinking about Berri in some way shape or form. I warned him his greed would be his undoing. But enough blame and judgement."

After that, the hours had practising came and flew by as nightfall was present. He was still clutching downpour a towel draped around his neck. He lifted his neck as he heard Jarret laughing and merely smirked at him as he nodded his head. " Alright, thanks for the heads up Jarrett you and the men Be careful out there I don't want any casualties on our side tonight." He sighed and got to his feet and put his cloak on his bandages freshly changed. He sighed as he disembarked the ship and would head to the dockmasters place and move into his appointed position and wait in silence with the dock master.

He would wait Patiently by the door on the left-hand side so the door would not hit him. downpour already unsheathed as he rested it upon his shoulder with the blunt end of the blade. His foot tapping quietly while his eyes watched the clock on the wall tick by, Minute after minute. Until at last, he heard some approaching footsteps. He smirked as he heard the doorknob creaked and turned as he held his breath as the door was pushed open. he would keep silent until the men would come inside there was no need to attack just yet. He had all the time in the world and besides he wanted to get a good hard long look at his soon to be prey.

Mashyuu watched as the men walked into the dock masters home and the winged Pirate placed a hand, fingers spread wide and covered by his red gloves to his forehead to mask his already masked face. Leaning his cane in the crook of his elbow he leaned to the right and sighed dramatically. "You guys must be the Hopeless Ones... Hi, I'm Captain Mashyuu Ishi and these docks belong to me now. This is your one chance to join my crew or lose limbs." Mashyuu offered, not really intending to allow the group to join him as he viewed the group as less than trash. The large man with the ball and chain slung over his shoulder made a funny face and twisted half his body to look back at Mashyuu like he couldn't believe he was being spoken to the way he was. Lance covered his face with his left arm and started to chuckle. "Huhuhuhu.... I don't believe this guy. Look at him... Not even worth my time. Chazz deal with this guy, Ellie, go help the others. It's been too long since they went in there." Lance spoke and started to walk away.

Chazz, a man dressed in a similar brown uniform and a skull cap, slowly walked over towards Mashyuu and stopped about fifteen feet away, his hands in his pockets and shoulders slumped forward. the moonlight reflected off his glasses and Mashyuu moved his hand away from his face to size up his first opponent. "You might want to get some friends to make it a fair fight." Mashyuu warned the young man and started to whip his cane around slowly. Chazz shrugged and shook his head side to side. "They won't be needed. I am the only one needed to defeat you." Chazz boasted and pulled his hands from his pockets to reveal two red yo-yo's. He flicked his wrist and the yo-yo's were slung down into a sleeper lock as spikes jutted from the toy. Mashyuu tilted his head to the left and raised a brow at the sight. It was an interesting toy to say the least.

With a flick of his wrists Mashyuu unlocked the scabbard of his cane sword and discarded the bamboo sheathe, revealing a gleaming blade. He whipped the sword about for a moment to cut the wind as Chazz flung his left arm out and launched the yo-yo forward towards Mashyuu. The pirate smirked at how slow the weapon seemed to hurl at him. Mashyuu lifted his sword up and held the weapon firmly and blocked the toy only to take a step back and clutch at his shoulder when the yo-yo threw its spikes at Mashyuu, digging them into the Pirates shoulder. He started to chuckle and waved his fingers, dislodging the spikes and let the drop harmlessly. Chazz yanked his weapon back and gave it another flick, causing more spikes to slip into place. "Sorry Chazz, those spikes aren't enough to do any harm to me."
