Yuurei
Yuurei was easily blocked, and counter, and he figured that would happen. He wasn’t surprised about this at all, but it seemed like Thomas was planning on doing something. He made sure that he was aware of his surroundings and made sure to pay attention from anything that came from behind, but he never looked back. Still, Thomas was quick on his feet and he watched the man lunge straight towards him. He noticed that his blades were making their way towards his chest, Yuurei started moving his swords around as he was getting ready to block any incoming attacks that were thrown at him. Yuurei didn’t say the skill of his technique out loud, but was using his Nitoryu: Youkai’s Hei. When the blades got close to Yuurei he would attempt to destroy Thomas’s swords with Benihime. He figured that the blade could handle that, or just parry his blades from reaching him.

The thief was a stance of focus and he took note on Thomas’s kick, but he did take noticed of it a bit too late. Yuurei would only be able to parry the kick with Ichi in his hand, but he felt the graze of Thomas’ kick on his leg. The thief cringed a bit as he could feel the pain on his leg, but when he moved back from Thomas he had kick dirt in the air with the leg that wasn’t touched by Thomas. He was able to move around just find. Yuurei figured he had given him a big ass bruise on his leg, and he would feel the most of it when his adrenaline had died down. Still, for now pain wasn’t the thing that was going through his mind, but his survival. Yuurei knew that he had stolen something of high value, which would likely risk his life by doing such an act. He figured he would have to finish this now as he wasn’t sure if the dirt had gotten into Thomas’s eyes, or if he had dodged it.

Yuurei had rushed towards Thomas once again, but this time he was moving faster than he usually moved. ”Nitoryu: Jiten Kire,” he whispered to himself as he was running straight at the man and decided to end this, or run afterwards. When he had gotten close enough he would spin around and attempt to slash Thomas with both blades, and if he wasn’t blocked by any attack of Thomas and made it through the big boss himself, Yuurei would continue to run right after that attack not looking back to see if Thomas had been taken down. He would only listen to the sounds around him to see if Thomas would chase after him. Yuurei already knew that he was stronger than him and as fast as he was. He wasn’t there to fight, but to try his best to get away.

As Yuurei brought his swords up to parry those of Thomas Jones', the retired pirate flipped the swords in his hands, pulling the blades away from Yuurei's before contact and reversing his grip so that the blades no faced the ground. This put them in the perfect spot to deflect the sand that Yuurei had kicked at the man after narrowly avoiding having his knee kicked in. Slicing upwards, bringing the blades across each other in a scissor-like fashion, Thomas Jones created a small tuft of air that blew away the dirt before any of it reached his body.

He needn't move from the spot he attacked the thief, however, as Yuurei had chosen to make distance between them on his own. This was, again, perfect for Thomas because it allowed him to conserve some extra stamina for a prolonged fight, and still gave him enough space to prepare his body for the oncoming attack from his foe.

Yuurei pressed forward, rotating his body and throwing two, parallel slashes towards Thomas. In reaction, swords already raised, Thomas jumped clear over the slashes, yet only high enough to allow him to throw straight kick towards Yuurei's head before he had a chance to turn and run. Regardless of whether or not the kick landed, the thief was on the run, so the chase was back on.

Luckily for Thomas, his guards had just rounded the corner, guns at the ready. The retired pirate leaped onto the closest roof, giving him a vantage point of the escaping thief and letting his guards fire a straight shot at their target down the alley, three bullets in total.

"You can run, but unless you've got some tricks up your sleeve, this is going to be a long marathon. Can you really keep it up with that bum leg?" Thomas Jones shouted from the roof as he ran along after Yuurei, taunting him.

Yuurei had swung his blades at Thomas, but it seemed like he was more aware and quick to react than Yuurei could imagine. He wasn’t underestimating him, but he kept surprising him with how he was moving. The man had jumped over Yuurei, but would miss the kick towards his head, and that was because Yuurei was moving quicker than he usually did for the exchange for weaker power into his missed attempt of an attack. He did continue to run, and it seemed like he could hear three gun shots coming from behind him. He was shocked, but knew that this was going to happen. The other guards had caught up with him, which meant that running away was the smart thing to do. The thief had turned to his right as there was another intersection. The long arms kept moving as he was could feel the pain on his leg, but chose to ignore for now.

Yuurei had someone who could fix and patch that wound, so he wasn’t worried about it right now. The only thing that matter was making his escape from Thomas and his guards. While he was running, he did hear the man shouting from above. He figured he would have returned to chasing him from the roof. It was the smarter choice to pursuit him from, and he just shook his head as he wasn’t going to answer the man. He decided to put away Ichi back into his sheathe. The young pirate sighed and he figured he would do something that he hoped he could do. The man was on the roof chasing him, and he knew which roof it was because well he shouted at him. I’m sorry.” he thought to himself as he was mainly saying that to the blade.

He did it again, as this time he held Benihime with both of his hands, and spun around as he tried to slice the building that Thomas was running on in half. He felt the blade run across the building, and used all of his strength when he did this. Still, he wasn’t sure if the building was actually cut, but he continued to run no matter the outcome. He hoped that if it did, it would stop Thomas from chasing him and lose everyone in the process as well. He could just imagine how crazy it would be, but hopefully it would work, he would keep running, and when he felt comfortable disappear into one of the man buildings that were around Mock Town. If it didn’t work thought, or if it did work, Yuurei would continue to run and make sure that he paid attention to Thomas’s action.

Thomas Jones had been able to keep up with Yuurei every step of the way, and had no problems with being able to contest him on a level of strength. Yuurei was a greenhorn, and his level of skill with a sword was represented in every movement. They were exaggerated and slow, without the finesse that a much more weathered swordsman would have. But it was this gap between them that went to Thomas' head. While the young thief may be without as many battle scars as he had, the boy had plenty of room to grow and still had some surprises left in him.

Yuurei turned to slash the building and while the act was telegraphed and easy to see, especially with the vantage point that Thomas had, he paid it no mind, assuming that the boy wasn't strong enough to achieve such a feat. When the side of the building collapsed and the roof gave way under his feet, Thomas realized just how big-headed he was being. He tumbled to the ground, the building burying him underneath.

"Tsk..." It was wound, both physical and to his pride, but it wasn't such a wound that Thomas couldn't get back up and continue the fight. Rather, this enraged him - or more, it excited him. Leading the noble life wasn't the life of a true-born pirate, so being able to cut loose and kill a youngling was a welcome opportunity, especially when that youngling offered such an interesting chase.

Thomas stood up, the rubble crumbling from his shoulders. Cuts and scrapes lined his body having been buried in the ruins of the building, but he persevered. Bending his legs, he took off after Yuurei once more. However, this time, it was with more gusto. Rather than running after him, he used his strength to his advantage, making leaps and bounds at a time to catch up to the young thief, regardless of the space that Yuurei had been able to put between them.

"Here's... Tommy!"

Yuurei had sliced the building with Benihime, and he was glad he decided to test it out. While he was running for his life he could feel the ground trembling as the structure of the building was giving out. It didn’t take long for him to hear the noises of the building’s crumbling begin. He could hear a few people screaming from the building, but it didn’t bother Yuurei’s conscious. He had to do something that wasn’t to be expected, and that was it. Still, he figured that he had killed a bunch of innocent people, and harmed the rest. Still, he was hoping that one of the people he had killed was Thomas in that incident. The collapse of the building would most likely stop the guards, take them down, or just stall them from finding him.

He wasn’t sure if he would lose Thomas for good, but it would stop the guards from catching up to him for a while. He had made a left turn as he was trying to make his way further from everyone. He made sure that he kept his composure right now as he was moving through the streets. It didn’t take long, however, that he heard the voice of Thomas. The man was resilient and it seemed like he was using his strength and his speed combine to close the gap between them. The thief couldn’t continue on with this chase of cat and mouse. He thought that running would be for the best, but he had change his tactics. Yuurei sighed as he slowed down his breathing as he was moving through the streets.

The thief had sheathed Benihime as he was making a run for it, but he was getting ready to do something drastic. Yuurei had looked back to see that Thomas had a different look on his face. This person’s face looked like he was enjoying this now. The last time he had seen his face it was filled with anger, and annoyance, but that wasn’t the case. Yuurei wasn’t sure what had happened, but it probably happened when the building fell. When he seen that Thomas was close enough, Yuurei had shifted turning around, and skidding back a bit before he took off right at the rich pirate. The young pirate had gripped the sheathed of Benihime and his right hand reached the handle of sword, and he quickly took the blade out of the sheathed as he was attempting to cut down Thomas with this attack. Whether or not he hit the man he would sheathed the blade, and turn to look at Thomas.

”Ittoryu: Shishi Sonson,” he whispered as he knew that if Thomas had dodged, or block his attack, he would have to be ready to dodge his incoming slashes. Yuurei knew how good this man was and it was due to all the cuts that he had gain from the man. Thus he waited to see if the man would turn, and attack, or stay still and fall to the ground.

Thomas Jones
omas Jones' eyes were locked onto Yuurei. In a moment of strength, the young thief turned towards his attacker, hand on his blade, and began running back. This put a smile on the face of Thomas Jones, as it was a welcome change of pace for what has been a constant chase so far.

"I see you have a pair after all," he taunted. "Let's go!"

The retired pirate kept his pace and constant hopping at Yuurei, but it was simply because of how telegraphed the thief's next attack really was. His hand was already on the hilt and sheathe of Benihime, ready to strike when the opportunity came. All Thomas Jones had to do was bait it out, and that was easy.

In a mix of leaps and bounds, Thomas threw in a smaller leap, putting him in the perfect position to let Yuurei throw his slash, and allowing him to prepare and jump beforehand. The slash came, and using the sword in his right hand, he placed the blade on Benihime's guard, forcing its trajectory southbound and causing the entire slash to pass harmlessly beneath him.

Already aiborne and using Yuurei's grip on Benihime as a base, Thomas Jones rotated himself in mid-air, throwing an axe kick towards Yuurei, aiming for the shoulder of the arm that was holding Benihime. The tactic was simple: force him to drop the saijo and cut his attack and defense power by more than half, then slaughter him from there.

Yuurei
This whole entire time Yuurei had figured that Thomas had been reading his moves beforehand. That every time he had gone for an attack the man was always reading his movements. Yuurei figured he would do the same. He had been dodging his attacks all this time, or parrying his blades. He had seen that Thomas had been jumping around this whole entire time, and even with the fact that he changed his paced and tried to surprise him, it was still no use. The man was able to see through the person who had been running away this whole time, when he decided to go and attack. It sucked as it was a good attempt, but it didn’t work, but he knew that jumping over him would mean he would counter after that then. He knew this well because it was what he had been doing majority of the time.

So when Yuurei’s blade didn’t cut, and obviously he could feel the force of him swinging upward, and still missing with his long arms, he knew Thomas would try to attack him midair. Yuurei sighed as he was going to focus on what he plan to do right now. The man had gotten behind and was probably thinking of a way to kick somewhere around his head, or upper area of his body. Yuurei decided it was base to duck and do a front barrel roll to avoid any attack that Thomas would attempt from his behind. ”It seems no matter what I do I can’t hit you,” he said with a smirk on his face. When he used speed to his advantage, the man was still able to dodge his skills. The pirate could only conclude that Thomas was stronger, and faster than he was in every way. Yuurei had been cut by this man, kicked by this man, but each time he tried his best to dodge these attacks.

Yuurei needed to read his attacks, and observe the retired pirate. The thief gripped Benihime as he had taken it out of its sheathe again. He looked at the man as he readied himself. He slowly moved watching Thomas as he knew he was going to attack the man. He figured using both his hands with the sword would give him a better advantage in strength, or so he hoped. Yuurei launched himself to Thomas, swing the blade towards his left, but in a way that would stop his arms from going all the way through, and bring his arms back if he needed to. This was done so he could bring his arms to defend against any attack that would come his way. Still, he was hoping that Thomas would either parried his blade with his own, so that Yuurei could attempt to break his swords with Benihime.

Yuurei didn’t just do this as he had attempted to kick Thomas on his right shin with his leg real quick, and see if that would work as well. Yuurei figured the man would attack with his legs, or the blades, but if his plans went through the right way. Still, he knew that this man would have probably seen all of this, and it was why he was getting ready to defend himself right away.

Thomas Jones
When the young thief spoke, Thomas couldn't hear the words that were said. It wasn't the words that mattered, as pure gibberish could have come out of his mouth and the retired pirate would have still sensed the slight alteration in the young man's personality. When the night had started, he was green and lacked the experience of a real swordsman, but in and instant, in just this fight, he had grown up a little bit more.

Yuurei attacked and Thomas Jones stood still, waiting for his target to come to him. When the thief moved to strike, that's when the real shift in his personality was made apparent. The strike wasn't meant to follow through. It was direct, yet maintained the option to be fluid. They weren't the movements of a true experienced swordsman, but the movements of someone that was coming to grips with the reality of their own skill. The gap was wide, and to cover that gap, this was Yuurei's plan.

Thomas Jones, with his weathered movements, flipped the sword in his right hand upside down to catch Benihime. While he was strong enough to parry the blow of Yuurei altogether, he was very much aware that his swords weren't at the quality of Benihime. If they were, he wouldn't have been chasing as hard as he was. Using the corner between the hilt guard and the base of the blade, Thomas again redirected the strike, this time sending the blade of his opponent upwards.

Yuurei's other sword was sheathed, and with the strike directed upwards it left his mid-section open for a strike from Thomas' other hand. The pirate swung his blade in a quick, shallow slash towards the thief's chest, taking the opportunity to strike rather than react to the opponent's shin kick. The blow to his shin was taken, and it stung, but it wasn't going to be enough to fell the monster of a man. At least not with Benihime at stake.

Yuurei
Yuurei had swung his blade at Thomas, and when it came through he expected the man to be able to parry the attack. What he didn’t think would happen was that the blade that he was using didn’t break his sword from impact. He had been using two hands on one of his katana to be able to have the advantage against Thomas who had been using one hand on his sword. With Benihime parried he had sighed, but knew he wasn’t going to allow that to go. The pirate figured it was time to use his arms against the man. He used the momentum of the parried, and bend both of his elbows to regain control of his arms motion. With that being said, he could see that Thomas was aiming for his midsection ready to slice him there. The green horned swordsmen had one advantage throughout this fight, and now he figured it was best to use it. His reach was much longer than that of any human, which meant that Thomas would have to get closer to Yuurei than usual.

The thief had slightly moved back a little bit, but the slash across his midsection had grazed him, slicing his shirt, and opening a superficial wound from the attack. Still, he didn’t jump from this and simply thrusted the katana straight towards Thomas’s heart. If the man had tried to jump back from this, it would be proven difficult for him, only because of Yuurei’s arm’s length and their distance between each other. If he was able to graze Yuurei with a sword strike, then it meant that Yuurei was close enough to be able to try and pierce Thomas in the heart even if he tried to dodge it. If Thomas would dodge, or parried this attack in anyway, Yuurei would use this thrust momentum to tumble forward, and turn to look at Thomas. He also hoped if he parried that his sword would break this time.

Yuurei was trying to end this fight, and even though he preferred not to kill the man, he knew that if he didn’t he wouldn’t have stopped chasing him. He didn’t hesitate, but he felt bad because Harley would be annoyed, and upset with him if she ever found out that he had killed another person.

Thomas Jones
The graze was shallow, but that's all Thomas really wanted to lay on the young boy. It was intended to be a statement, more than anything else. He might have a long arm advantage, but Thomas' strength was pure. He would win, even if only slightly, every time. But, the bravado he was trying to dish out was paying him back, His shin stung, and he was in close to his target, preventing him from getting the full scope of view that he'd had on the several other times they'd clashed this evening.

Yuurei took the chance he was given, thrusting Benihime at the heart of Thomas Jones. The movement was quick, but the disparity in what Thomas could keep track of and what he could dodge wasn't large enough to make it a guaranteed hit. Thomas was able to shift his weight to his back leg, slowly because of his injured shin, rotating himself at the hips and letting the biting end of Benihime glide past his chest, giving him a similar wound the one he'd just given Yuurei. However, as Yuurei had the reach advantage, while his cut on the thief was shallow, the cut he had received was deeper and more meaningful, drawing blood in a much more noticeable manner. It wasn't deep enough to be guarantee a win, but it was deep enough to bother Thomas.

He wasn't dead yet though, which meant he wasn't done fighting. With a powerful step forward, closing the reach distance, Thomas copied Yuurei and thrusted both of his swords forward, arms directed in different locations. The first was aimed towards Yuurei's dominant shoulder, attempting to weaken his strongest arm that held Benihime. The other sword was aimed at Yuurei's right thigh, just intended to slow down his movements with a heavy injury.

"Now you're making this exciting, boy."

Yuurei
Yuurei had watched the man dodged his attack, but barely like he had done his. He was impressed by this man, and if this battle taught him anything was how to be better when using his weapons. He didn’t understand what was going on, but he was enjoying this fight more than he should. He had always run when he needed to, and this time it was no exception. The only thing that was different this time was that his opponent was besting his every move, and making sure that he wouldn’t escape. That had never been done before, which surprised Yuurei in more ways than one. The other part was that this man had bested him as a swordsman, and Yuurei knew that even if it had hit him in his heart. Still, it had made sense as this man was a pirate before, and must have done a lot, and must have been skilled to get where he was.

He knew one thing, and it was that he had to take risk in order to gain results from his action. When he noticed that the man had been bleeding from his attack, it encouraged him to fight with more will, and power. He watched the man as he noticed that he stepped forward and was thrusting his blades towards him. There were two of them, and they were both heading in his direction. Yuurei looked at both of them, and noticed that he couldn’t block both of them, and if he dodged, then his vantage point would be lost. He had to give something up, but he decided to do something drastic. Yuurei noticed that his thigh would be targeted, and he moved it in a way that it wouldn’t hit any vital areas. Thomas first sword had pierced Yuurei, as the young man grunted from the pain, but knew it wasn’t done just yet. There was the second blade, and that was being aim straight into his dominate shoulder, which would drastically weaken him if he had let that attack go through.

Instead, Yuurei had let go of Benihime with his left hand, allowing Yuurei to hold it with only his right hand, and moved his left arm towards the thrust of the blade. Yuurei stopped the blade from piercing his right shoulder, but at the cost of it piercing through his left forearm. Still, Yuurei didn’t think of it as a lost, but as a beautiful opportunity to end this. The blades were stuck within him now, and he while this was happening, Yuurei had swung his right arm around with Benihime in hand, and he was tempting to slice Thomas’s head off. He figured that attacking while the man was attacking was for the best, and having the blades pierce him would leave him without any way to defend, or dodge his attack. Yuurei used his long arms to his advantage, and the joints to bend twice and have the blade thrust across his neck.

He would have to abandon his swords that were pierced into Yuurei, but he doubt he would have enough time for that either. Yuurei had gone all in with this attack as he was waiting for such an opportunity to present itself.

In slow motion, Thomas Jones could see the events of that night playing out within his head until it came to t his exact moment, where he was riddled with the joy of finally landing a decisive blow on his opponent. In a fight between swordsmen, the wounds such as the kind that Yuurei had just received were the kind of injuries that were deciding f actors. They would drain blood, they would slow movement, and they'd overall reduce the strength behind his attacks.

It was a beautiful sensation to the former pirate, as hit was a feeling he hadn't had in a long while. Piercing the flesh of Yuurei's thigh and forearm were great and gave the old pirate a renewed sense of fighting spirit.

But, in these few moments of slow motion, Thomas Jones finally realized the sword heading in his direction. Yuurei wasn't just unmotivated to fight or innately weak, nor had he allowed Thomas to ensure victors. On the contrary, Yuurei's injuries were an insurance of his own victory. Using his own body as a means to deprive Thomas of free range of movement or weapons, the young thief made a direct slash towards his opponent's throat, threatening to behead him.

"Tsk..."

Thomas Jones, in a state of panic, jumped backwards away from the strike, leaving his swords implanted in Yuurei's body. It prevented him from getting his head torn off, but ripped a hole in his throat, from which blood began to spurt out.

It was late in the evening. There was no doctor on call or anyone currently around that had a chance of saving him. He could only watch Yuurei as he groaned and slowly bled out. He had lost, convincingly, and not due to the opponent overwhelming him with skill, but showing superior heart.

The grunts that Thomas Jones had hired to provide security for his galley had finally circumvented the fallen building, coming up to a scene with their dying employer on the ground and the injured thief standing above his body. There was nothing for them to do about Thomas Jones, as they were merely hired hands and had no training, but they kept their contract secure, deciding to continue their assault on Yuurei.

The three gunmen left took aim, firing off their rounds at the injured thief. With both of his legs injured, he was bound to be slower. They potentially had a chance, and so, the rest of the guards lunged toward Yuurei after their partners had taken a shot, hoping to secure the advantage that they knew they had.

Yuurei’s plan had succeeded, but it wasn’t exactly how he wanted it to go. He had gotten stabbed in different locations, and he was planning on watching his head being cleaning cut off of his head, but he had gotten something a bit better. He watched the man’s throat be cut open, and with that the man started gurgling and spurting out blood from that area. It was a bit scary and creepy, but it was something that had to be done. He could feel the pain on his forearm, and thigh, but he knew it wasn’t over. He was hoping that they didn’t show up on time, but honestly wishing for things like that was out of the question. He had to be realistic, and even though they were slow on the chase, they possibly wouldn’t give him with all the clashing and slashing that was happening through the night.

He was right on that, and Yuurei could hear the rumbling of footsteps coming from the distance. He turned to see the troubling guards, and he just sighed as he was panting. The fight with Thomas Jones was enough, but now he had to deal with these fools as well. Yuurei wished that he could he find a simpler way to block and dodge these attacks in the position he was in. Yuurei heard the gun shots of the three men, and knew that they were aiming straight for him. He had stood his ground, and focused his mind to deflecting these bullets. ”Ittoryu: Youkai’s Hei,” he whispered this in his mind, as he watched the first bullet make their way towards him, and he deflected the first bullet, which he directed it to one of the incoming swordsman who were rushing towards him, then the second bullet he had done the same thing, but this time towards a different swordsman.

With the third bullet coming he would deflect that one as well as it would go towards a third swordsman. While the three of the seven swordsman were distracted by the bullets that were directed towards them, Yuurei would have to do deal with the other four that were still coming his way. He could barely dodge, and he doubted himself to be able to block the attacks of all four of them. When they lunged at him he sighed as he was getting tired of this. ”Leave me alone, he is dead stop chasing me!” he shouted as he tried his best to guard against the swordsman. Benihime collided with all four of the men’s blade, which pushed Yuurei back from the attack. While he was stumbling he could feel the pain on his thigh right now, and even his shin that was kicked by Thomas a while back. He grunted from the pain, and figured he would have to take them all out.

Yuurei already knew that he couldn’t outrun them, but he knew when he was done with this, that he would have to go to Harley, so she could patch him up. The wounds he had gotten weren’t something he could overlook, and that much he knew. Still, he wasn’t done just yet; Yuurei stumbled only a bit, so moving close to the swordsman wouldn’t be much of a problem. The thief had stepped forward towards them, and gripped Benihime with both his hands, even though his left arm was in pain, and he tried to cleave straight through all four men with one sword Yuurei knew about the guys with the guns, and honestly he was afraid of them more than anybody that was around currently.

While the guards with their swords rushed in to meet Yuurei head on, the three remaining gunmen waited in the back, taking this chance to reload their weapons for another volley. When the thief managed to deflect the bullets into some of the rushing swordsmen, only two of the remaining gunmen could keep their feet planted and continue their reload process. One of these men tightened his grip on his rifle, dropped his powder flask and bag of lead shot, and took off running in the direction he had just come from.

Three swordsmen were felled by ally bullets, and in and instant, the long-armed thief cleaved straight through the rest of the melee guards. Cleaving through a single man is a hard enough feat for the average person, but cleaving through four was an impossibility, yet it was done. However, the guards were undaunted in their task, at least for the moment. The gunmen had finished their reloading, taken aim, and fired at Yuurei once more before taking off after their already fleeing ally.

Three men, wielding guns, were no match in a hand-to-hand competition with someone that was capable of not only cutting through four men in an instant, but also living through - and defeating - Thomas Jones. They, at least, wanted to keep their lives and tell the tale.

Yuurei’s attack had went through, and he honestly had to think Benihime for it. While he was using the blade, he came to understand its strength through running around, and taking on Thomas. The strength between this sword, and the one he had sheathed were tremendous. Still, he learned one thing, and it was never underestimate your opponent. Thomas taught him that in both ways; he didn’t think Thomas was strong enough to take him on because well he was a retired pirate, but god that man was strong, and scary as well. Then there was the fact even though weaker, with enough determination you can win a battle. He looked over to the gunmen who were still there, and when he counted he noticed that there were only two men left. These guys weren’t going to leave him alone, or so he thought. They shot at him, and he figured they wanted to die by his blade.

The thief panted when the bullets came towards him and he moved to avoid one of the bullet, while the other one grazed him on his right arm. Still, their plan seemed to have been more of a shoot and run tactic as they had finally got the picture. They were smart men indeed, and he was to hurt to chase after these gunners. The only downside about all of this was that they knew about him, and knew there was a man who went around stealing swords. Yuurei chuckled because they would spread rumors around him, so that just meant he would have to change his outfit, and hide his face better. Yuurei sighed as he sheathed Benihime and walked passed Thomas. He crouched to get the man’s sheathe for the two swords that were stuck in him and slowly limped away. His body ache with everything that he had gone through today, and his legs limp with every step he took.

Still, he knew that he couldn’t fall right here because then he would only lose blood while resting. Yuurei’s destination was Harley’s clinic. The doctor of the crew he joined would knock him over the head, but would be willing to patch him. The thief kept the swords that were pierced into him as he figured they would also join his collection. Yuurei could tell they were strong, but he wasn’t sure how strong they were. The reason behind that was because he was focused on being alive more than anything. When he walked through the streets it didn’t take long for him to make it to Harley’s office. He was heading there from the beginning of the chase. It was his getaway area and the place he knew where he would have backup, if he never lost sight of Thomas. When Yuurei opened the door he took a step in, and sighed.

”Harley can you help me please, and don’t throw away the swords that are pierced into me they belong to me!” he shouted, hoping she would hear him to clean his wounds, and patch him up. Yuurei had a tough day, but it was a day where he grew and learned as a fighter. His figured his tactics of running away wouldn’t always work.
