Even with the fismans strike to the air, Melissa did not waver, confident in her abilities, the snow funeral in which she had released was essentially superior to this fishmans technique, though she did not know this at the time, it was stronger and faster, This allowed Melissa to continue her original actions before the technique reached her, thus releasing her ice spear. She would smile ever so gently, only to widen her eyes in shock, her body slipped backward ever so slightly, before pain enveloped the right side of her body, her arm twisted in an awkward shape, her stomach seemed to fold in on itself. She could not help but scream. A sound Lotan would probably find most enticing. A second after her body had seemingly twisted, it bounced back as Melissa was thrown through the air, sent soaring four meters back. Blood had already escaped her maw, splattering before she was thrown through the air, sliding across the ground, Her body had never felt in such pain. A weakness of the Yuki Yuki No Mi user was that she originally prior to finding out about Haki relied heavily on her intangibility, she had not trained the defensive properties of her body.
Pain washed over her, she stood up, though even through the pain, she had a sadistic little smile upon her face, her right hand hung limply, broken, unable to move it. Her eyes wincing in pain, red crimson liquid dripping from her mouth. "I.....win" Melissa said to the large pile of corpses. Though that would no longer be visible. Her secondary attack, the ability to cover all within a vast amount of compressed snow that would constrict and suffocate. Perhaps Lotan thought diving into the corpses would be his saving grace, yet he would have just condemned himself to perishing along with those corpses. Though he was a fishman, he still required air, and with the snow now coverning the entirty of the corpse mountain and all that surrounded it he would soon find himself unable to breath, and unless he had the strength to break free, he would be unable to do so.
Though Melissa would stand, her left hand holding her waist, with a wave of her hand, the snow around her would halt its movement, dispersing from its vast burst into nothing more than a wavering flurry, from this flurry around the large mounds of snow, three additional lances formed from Melissa's will, levitating in the air, ready to strike if Lotan managed to break free. "Marine girl, whatever power you have, get ready to strike. If he breaks out of this, we end it all at once" Melissa said, though she would stop and take a deep breath in between every second word, the pain in her abdomen coming sharper, fiercer. The damage to her internal organs was probably not as bad as she imagined, but the pain would not subside yet. The sound of rumbling began to fill the slums, seakings attracted by the scent of the blossoming pop greens. Though Melissa would not move. "His head, is mine" she uttered, looking to the mound of snow that was once a mountain of corpses. She wanted answers though about this Le'louch guy. "Marine, do you know this Le'louche guy?" Melissa asked, her eyes not once moving from the fishmans last known position.
