Jackal simply grinned, extending his arm towards May and she felt her heart race as his palm rested against her temple while pressing hard enough to get through a layer of fur, "There's no need to cry over a lot like us. Save your tears for the hard times. These are festive occasions! You should smile. Even when it's tough, you should smile too... I guess that's kind of a contradiction to my statement though!" Jackal was so awkward pulling it off but it made May laugh with him nonetheless. Suddenly a man would walk into a room and upon seeing Jackal and May he smirked, "Ho-oh... Captain... You we're so tough on us for going out... and your here fraternizing with the young lady... Shame." May quickly became red as she started to raise her hand in protest, "W-w-wait it's no-" before she could finish she was over spoken by Jackal, "Hmm... and what if I am? She just offered to wash my back." As he said playfully sticking out his tongue at his friend behind them as she started to ignore the scene around her and repeat to herself out loud in a depressive whisper, "Im so dirty for tempting man like this...i can never get married... ill die a old lady with...i hate cat's so idk what type of pets ill have but im sure my house will be filled with them.."
