Yiruzen would be punching his temple trying to remember last night. There was a drinking content...what else, what else?OH! He had some fun time with that waitress for a bit. Just a short fling nothing more. The footprints Yiruzen was leaving would be swept up and carried off back into the clear water. Yiruzen's soaked clothes and body armor would make him heavier. The walk on the beach was long and peaceful. There didn't seem to be any sort of people around the area. So that just left Yiruzen to his devices. The bar....oh how wonderful the bar was. The singing, the dancing. The cheerfulness that probably could be heard from blocks away. The moon in all its splendor. That night had little to no faults within, no one bothered him and he was able to drink until....until. What happened after that cup, did Yiruzen pass out? Was it even a cup, Yiruzen drank out of various things, cleavage included. But just the thought of him doing that made his face red. He was drunk out of his mind at that point, as anything after that was a blur.
Yiruzen's foot would catch a piece of wood that was lodged in the sand. But it was pretty buried, how long has it been here? Yiruzen would pick it up before looking up.....to notice an entire shipwrecked on the shore. The piece of wood seemed like nothing but a speck to the ship before the Revolutionary. The bit of wood would slip out of Yiruzen's hand, it would land on the floor before being picked up by the waves, out to sea. Yiruzen would inch his way towards the ship, the sun beating down on his damp hair. The sand being dry here would make crushing sounds with each and every step the young man took. He would make his way over to a gash that was in the ship's bottom...or well now the top. The ship was upside down, and "Nrghh!" Hot to the touch as well. Was the piece of wood from this? Wait, was Yiruzen aboard this ship? If so....how long was he out for? "GRUMBLE" Yiruzen would grasp his stomach as the pain of not eating would echo throughout his body. First thing's first before finding food....where the hell was he? He would enter the ship's hole and would fall face first onto more sand. This sand being damp though, why was that? Before Yiruzen could even finish his thought, a wave of water would come through more holes in the back of the ship. Flowing through and cascading onto the sand under the ship.
After wiping his face Yiruzen would turn his head to survey the ship where the grizzly sight of the member of the ship would be on full display. Chills would radiate on the back of Yiruzen's neck as he would jump back. His back would be against the wall of the ship. Rough breaths would follow suit, Yiruzen would try to calm himself. He's seen dead bodies before and he's even killed, but why did seeing on now cause such a reaction? Yiruzen would shake the thoughts out of his head. Right now he needed information. Information that would determine how he goes about his situation and how he would get himself out of it. Yiruzen would crawl towards what seemed to be crates albeit they were pretty beaten up, but for now, they were the best place to check. Ships usually had maps and where would he find a map in a wrecked ship? Well anywhere really, it was wrecked so things are bound to be in places where they shouldn't be. Yiruzen's rough hand would grasp onto the box and after barely touching it, the box would break into pieces. The contents within? Rotten apples, varying in color and sizes.
Yiruzen would stick his tongue out in disgust and would move onto the next box blowing air out his nose before attempting to pry it open. And to his disappointment, there was nothing within. Whether it was washed away and looted but someone already didn't matter. It was gone, and any chance for Yiruzen to find out where he was has gone up in smoke. Yiruzen would go into a squat type of sitting style letting out a deep breath. Looking up the light would hit the adjacent wall and seemed to poke through the minuscule ridges throughout the side. And after a bit of surveying, Yiruzen would notice that there was something stuck under the side of the ship. It seemed to be a sort of leather, and after a little bit of digging and a bit of careful tugging, the item was finally free. The item though would make Yiruzen smile from ear to ear, it was just what he was looking for. Or even better...the item in question was a leather map. A map showing....what...what even is this? It seemed to be an island....but it had edges? Yiruzen didn't understand at all. He didn't understand that he was on a special island. An island called by many as Skypiea.
