Act 1

The day started off how Madori had predicted. Terrible. That morning he had woke up motivated to finding a crew or finding some money. Times was hard these days in Mocktown. When the only thing you're good at is beating people up. It was this type of problem that was an everyday thing for the young Sojima. He was staying in a beat up inn but it was something.

He had used his last few beli on the stay. As a Pirate hopeful he still hoped to own a ship. To save money for it was next to impossible. His life was a bill that had to be paid.

"What a drag."

A put his clothes on and his favorite black cloak. To obscure his figure to his enemies. He had made many people unpleasant here in the town. The young man couldn't care less. He threw a couple gold coins on the table for the innkeeper.

Walking outside he had to get to work. Madori was sure that he would find some work in Mocktown before days end. Or else he'd die trying, possibly literally. His stomach growled and turned making him frown even more.

He mad his way through the slums of Mocktown eager to get past the homeless and the beggars. All of them would ask him for money he needed. If you can't help yourself here, you die. Simple as that.

Before Madori even consumed the Magma Magma Devil Fruit, he was fighting with his bare fists. Which was why he was an adept fighter already. One of the best in town. However that could only get you so far. And it wasn't putting any food on the table.

The place was robust and it always seemed devoid of intelligence. Just the way he liked it. Madori pushed open the door to the bar, called "The Leaky Canyon". It was his favorite bar to go to seeing as it was the only one that hadn't thrown him out for one reason or the other.

He sat down and didn't ask for anything to drink however. He couldn't afford it anyways. But the bartender came anyways to tend to him. "What do you want?"

"Rude Jerry. That's how you speak to the locals?" Madori said scoffing at the bartender.

"I've known you since you were kid. You're not local, you're a menace!" He said forcefully.

"Tell me how you really feel." Madori snapped back with a smile. He leaned forward and said, "I need your help Jerry. I'm looking for work. What do you have for me?"

Jerry seemed to get serious with his bald head and thick mustache. Cleaning out a cup Madori was sure clean ages ago, he leaned closer to him.

"Well I haven't heard anything. But...most of them are preparing for something."

"Any idea what?"

"A tournament." Said a voice coming directly from behind Madori. The Sojima teenager turned around to see a pair of the most exotic looking twins he had ever seen.

From head to toe they were outfitted as if they were rockstars. Leather jacket with spikes all over it, both were sporting a different color mohawk. One was blue and the other was red. Both males from what Madori could eye.

Their necks were tatted with a Pirate symbol, the Metal Band Pirates. A small group of musically talented Pirates, who at times performs music and robs the people watching them.

A seesaw of a business plan. "We heard you may be looking for work?" The red head said, his eyes was hazel along with his brothers. "We are the Twins, of the Metal Band Pirates. I'm the Captain. Red, and this is my brother Blu. We were passing by and we overheard your conversation."

Blu continued on after Red paused, "There is a such a thing we are hosting. We are making a fighting tournament hosted by the Metal Band Pirates, you look like you can fight riiiiiiight? Hmmmm?" He said pecking his neck forward and eyeing him quizzically.

How creepy, they even finish each others sentences. They were a strange duo, but he needed the money for any type of gig at the moment. He couldn't say no even if he wanted too.

"Yea...I'm listening." Madori said turning around to the Twins.

Captain Red was more than delightful to express his excitement in explaining to Madori just what he was in for. Turns out this would be one of Madori worst mistakes, but his greatest triumph. He leaned forward in his chair and rested his arm on the counter as he turned to see them better. Whatever these freaks wanted, he just wanted to know if they had what he wanted. Beli. Captain Red continued on with a higher pitch in his voice akin to a pre-teen.

"Why only the biggest tournament taking place. If you can fight, then you'll last the night. As I always say." Madori frowned, he was already evenly annoyed with the guy. But he had an obligation to hear him out.

"Its called the Death Metal Tournament. As the name implies, you die, its not our problem. Its a harsh world. But the prize money!" Madori's ears perked up as he listening for the magic words.

"I'm in," Sojima said without skipping a beat.

"Damn son we didn't even get into the middle of the presentation," said Blu who interjected. "But that's fantastic news. A little need to know, you'd better know how to fight or-" A put a finger to his throat and dragged it across, signaling he could die. "I'm sure that doesn't bother a big strong guy like you. You look really intimidating. Of course not. You look like you born to die! I mean-. You get what I mean."

"It doesn't matter to me. If I die, I die."

"If you die, you die. Sounds like a movie quote. I love it." Blu said sporadically.

Captain Red finished the proposal by saying, "In order to prove however you are good enough to take part in our tournament. We gotta see how good you are."

A confused look came upon Madori's face as he asked, "How am I supposed to do that? Ain't that what the fight is for?"

"Well we got a reputation to uphold, we can't have scrubs coming to the stage to fight. What we need from you is a skills test." His eyes started to dart around looking for something. They settled on something in the back of the bar. And he pointed at it. It was a very large man with a Pirate symbol on his shoulder, that was also unknown to Madori. "That guy, I want you to kick his ass."

This seemed like an improbable task if you first look at it. The guy was very large about almost about 7 feet and looked to way over three hundred pounds. But this guy had never tangled with someone like Madori before. A regular human could not compare to his strength. So Madori straightened up and said, "Not a problem."

Blu was delighted and Red kept a serious face on. All a ploy. They were indeed searching fighter to participate in the tournament. But they were were certainly not looking for Champion, that part they had covered.

"But first, if I get kicked out this bar for it. Whats the prize money." Madori said to the Twins.

"10 million beli." Captain Red said with nefarious smirk.

Sojima took a step backwards as shock spread across his face and the bartenders face like wildfire. "10...million beli!" He exclaimed. An unbelievable amount, this tournament must really be top notch for that winning amount. He was sold. It was worth getting kicked out or barred for what he was about to do. He said no more and turned his attention the giant man.

The bartenders look of shock quickly turned into a look of worry. As he skipped down the bar bench saying, "Hey Madori don't start anything in my bar! Take it outside!" He bellowed.

"I'll pay for the damages when I win." He said confidently walking up behind his target. The man seemed to be the muscle of the group so he stopped when he was only foot away from the man. He was sitting down minding his own business.

A real shame he had to be there. Madori simply leaned over the right shoulder of the giant of a man. Then he tapped him on his shoulder. The man growled and turned his cheeky fat bald head towards him. "What the hell do you want?" He asked with an attitude. Those type of guys had to have an attitude or what was the point of all those muscles on him.

"Just getting my ticket thank you." Madori said before sending a full weighted punch to the temple of man. It was a very strong punch as it sent him barreling off his chair into the ground knocked out. His friends were struck with awe and fear. He has a large man and he had the physical strength to boot. But he had a glass jaw, it was over before it begun. They said nothing as Madori returned to the Twins saying. "Is that all."

They smiled evily and simultaneously as they said, "It sure is."

Act 2

Madori had donned a slightly different fit for the fight this morning. After talking to the Twins a few days ago it was his time to wait and train before the big tournament. He was told to wait at a certain secluded area devoid of prying eyes. The location of the tournament would be dropped on him the day of, this stopped any uncertain surprises by dangerous pirates or even the military for that matter. So he had on a cleaner black cape that still covered most if not all of his body all the way to his knees.

A white shirt and black jeans, he had the rough ride look down packed. He was close to the docks but in a area where there was clearing from the beaten path. He waited patiently for his messenger to arrive. And sure enough he did. A hooded figure walked towards him from the beaten the path. "Madori." He said stopping a few feet from him.

"Aye." Madori said folding his arms and glaring at the hood figure.

The hooded figure raised his head slightly to get a better look. He was a Mink. Half-Leopard. "You have been invited. Congratulations. Be at this location before Sundown." He reached forward and produced a gold lined and gold embedded stamped on the letter. Oh wow. They really are going all out for this tournament. But it is for 10,000,000 million beli. Maybe it is worth it.

Madori unfolded his right arm and took the letter away from the Leopard Minkmen. He quickly turned away without another word and went about his business. He was strange. But Madori had a sneaking suspicion that it would be wise to remember the Minkmen. He waited for him to leave before he started to make his way on another path. Heading back into town.

On the way out he started to rip the letter apart to read the instructions. "Seek out the Bloody Baron. Code is Sanguine. It was short and to the point. He knew what and where the letter meant for him to go. But not exactly who he was supposed to be talking too. The Bloody Baron was one of the many bars in the town however the most cutthroat and dangerous Pirates went there.

Madori was confident in his abilities so far but he was no fool to raise hell in a place like the Bloody Baron. He did not have a crew to tangle with those dogs. But now he would have to dismiss those feelings. In order to be big he had to eat big. Time to go to the Bloody Baron. He would be careful about using his Devil Fruit ability.

Hours Later...........

-----------------------------------

Madori Sojima stood outside the bar ready as he would ever be. The Sun was beginning to edge its way down for the night. The exact time he was told to be there. There was one going in and out. If you went in, you'd best be staying inside. He took a deep breath and slapped his face. Fight or flight Madori. Time to kill the competition. He thought with a deep resolve. This would propel him on his way to maybe grabbing some grunts to form his own crew. Then further down the line he would get his own ship, and sail the Grand Line for the ultimate.

The dreams were usually high. But Madori knew more often than naught, those dreams usually fell flat. Through no fault of their own, they were just apart of the wrong era. Madori was in the right era for his prowess to spread. For him to influence the world and impact it the way he wanted. It was a big place so it was worth to explore it.

Sojima made his mins up and began walking into the Bloody Baron. The door was made of mahogany and steel. Expensive. He opened the door and it was instantly eyes upon him. The place was pretty big for a bar. Almost two stories high and about fifty meters of space for patrons and others alike to frolic. It was filled with ruthless pirates, Vagabonds and all sorts of characters. Without paying much attention he was about to make his way bar stool when out of no where a large human stepped in front of him. He was smaller than Madori as he was very large for a human as well. He was dressed in a black suit with black sun glasses. A clean shaved head with pale skin. He was security.

He barred Madori's path with a hand signaling for him to stop. "What is the color of night?" He asked to the Magma man.

Madori was prepared for this and remembered what the letter instructed him to say. He did not initially know the question. But hearing the question he immediately knew the answer putting two and two together. "Sanguine."

"Welcome my brother." He said before gesturing for him to follow. Madori nodded and he followed the the guard down a sideways path that led away from the bar lobby. The place was indeed very big. Built intricately and painstakingly to someones every need. So this was a place for class pirates? The Metal Band Pirate leaders did not seem the type to own a place like this. They seemed more interested in the harsher things in life. Nor did they seem big enough to have a place and house some of the most dangerous Pirates in town. Well not by themselves at least.

This was him going off their first encounter. They did not seem the type to have this amount of savvy and pull in Mock town. Now he would get to see up close just how deep and their organisation goes. And if he won the tournament, he would have instant connections. Had to grab the opportunities to rise when the presented itself. He knew all these years a chance finally dropped in his lap. They reached a large steel door barred safely it seemed from all types of attacks. It was towards the back of the bar.

He knocked on the door four times however timed precisely to make a certain tune with the amount of force. He must've done this a hundred times for the person didn't even need to know who it was before he opened the door. The large man turned around to Madori as the door swung open and said, "This...is the Death Metal Tournament."

What the young man was expecting was nothing to what he actually saw. It was just a large area covered with bricks and a shaft elevator. There were two guards, dressed similar to his escort, guarding the elevator. The escort merely waved him inside and shut the door behind him when he walked in.

The door closed leaving the best light into the place to only illuminated by three lamps in the shaft. Two on the wall and on on the elevator. They said nothing but waited for him to make his way to the elevator, which he did. Madori made his way on to the shabby looking elevator. Kind of apprehensive about the setup.

The other security guard reached up and pulled a lever behind him. There was a slight jolt followed by a firm shudder as the elevator began to move. The elevator began to go down and they didn't say a word.

Now was when Madori was in for a surprise, under the decent sized bar was something much more. What Madori was introduced to was a vast underground arena. Only one thought came to his head, massive.

The place was a criminals paradise. Filled with a betting station, a bar, and a seats. The arena was at least fifty meters of what seemed to be a gladiators circle.

They expected a fight to the death or something close to it. The the gladiator gates were barred with makeshift spikes or spear and swords combined. Possibly to keep competitors from climbing away from the danger in the arena.

The ground was a circular platform that was man made. As the elevator was at its highest he could see that this place was built within a enormous tunnel which may have led to ocean. This seemed to be a rather inconspicuous hiding place, away from the prying eyes of the Marines and controlled by the Pirates themselves. Needless to say, Madori was highly impressed. I guess Red and Blu aren't so green to this it seems.

The elevator was all janky and made less than welcome noises as it made its way down to the bottom. The only light was actually on the elevator otherwise everything was obscured in darkness. Which made being in the shaft more awkward with the non-speaking secrurity guards. The it shuddered and the doors opened automatically for Madori. He didn't even look back when he stepped off, eager to be rid of the ride.

There was a wooden bridge that led over a small water stream that led around the arena station which was built to be over it. The security guard stepped off and the two walked over the short bridge that led to the arena. Of course it was bustling with people walking to and from getting refreshment. While others were looking for a way to place a bet on who was gonna win.

Madori looked up and there was a huge sign in obnoxious colors saying, 'Death Metal Tournament!' There was no need as this was a secret location. Everyone here didn't need the update. But whatever. He walked through the crowd as the fluttered around him excited for the bout to take place. While on the other hand Madori was actually starting to feel nervous. This was a match where a person could actually kill you.

He had taken a life before, multiple lives at that. They belonged to the Marines, so he didn't care for people that made his life a living help. However this would be for money. Then after a few more seconds passed by he thought about it harder, it didn't matter if someone died. He needed to look after himself, and no one else mattered. Secruity walked to the entrance of the arena, there was a booth there and a disgruntled man inside. "We got a fighter."

Which was all he said before turning around and walking away without so much as a word. Leaving Madori with a confused expression watching the man walk away back over the bridge. Guess he was on his own for the remainder of his time here. The man had on glasses that were hardly on his nose and leaned forward. It seemed that it was to get a better look for he asked shortly, "State ya name."

"Madori Sojima."

He looked to a clipboard on his little desk, then he looked back at Madori before saying, "Go down that hallway first door on the right, thats for the fighters going up." We'll have a person come down and show you all how the fight well be ordered."

Madori nodded and was about to turn around to head to the way he was instructed. When the man held up a hand, he stopped and the man gave him a golden ticket. "Thats your in. You're good now. Don't die." And shooed him away.

"Not a chance." Sojima said with confidence. These people didn't care if he lived or die. It was business.

One hour later.........

---------------------------

Madori was poised for the inevitable. The call. All the fighters had gone into the giant room and were selected to fight in a tournament 'like' ladder. Comprised of 16 fighters they would all compete to be the Champion of Death. Even the last years Champion participates at the bottom as well. Ominous but that's just how the Pirates here were accustomed too. This dark theme was spread throughout the rules. Practically anything went except no guns or range weapons were allowed. Keeping it strictly melee between combatants, and for the safety of the crowd. The crowd were important for the money to flow in, couldn't have them dying.

They were all separated then put into their individual cells that held a pathway to the arena. Which was where Madori was currently. He had his cloak still on they allowed him to keep it as long as he didn't have a shooting weapon. He had no armor of the likes, he couldn't afford such luxury items. However he had more endurance than his peers before so maybe that would come to play. And he couldn't forget his Devil Fruit ability. He had to be careful not to make any obvious transformations while he fought. So he could only use his feet and hands when he could.

Madori thought he would be going in alone. They had told them it would be a ladder so there would  be one versus one. However as he was waiting there three other warriors were shuffled into his cell by armed guards.

The three fighters were just as confused as he was. What was going? Then all of a sudden, the giant door the led to the arena began to open. To their great dismay they came out to widely lit area with adjacent doors opening away from. There were more people joining them.

Four other doors were rising up as Madori stepped outside onto the cemented ground under them. Diagonally apart they would see four more of the combatants entering from each entrance. The crowd was going wild and Madori had almost not noticed them. The announcer could be heard now, it was as if the cells were soundproof. Now you could hear the announcer clearly. "NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMAN LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!" They had been duped!

They were led to believe that this would be a singles fight. But Madori's quick thinking figured out the real motive, this was a battle royale. It would be every man for themselves. For whatever reason but to shake things up in the betting office. The Magma man stilled himself, this made fighting without using his Devil Fruit even harder. No telling what type of people he would be dealing with. For the most part they all looked harmless save for one in particular.

He had on gloves and he was looking formidable. Madori had heard that there was the last Champion of Death among them. He had no doubt that this dude was the guy. Wasn't wearing a shirt or anything but he had this Japanese style of hair and red gloves. Black pants with fire at the ends of the pants.

There was an aura of toughness that just emanated from him. He was however not fazed at the news they would be fighting each other at once. It was almost expected. Madori frowned as the fighters spread out to give each other room from one another. It looks like they had no choice now. On a huge podium overlooking the arena, there was the Twins positioned to watch the fight. They were both ecstatic, possibly more than usual. A smug went across their face. Thankfully they weren't the announcers, and not needed for commentary. But the announcers were the ones bringing the energy.

"LET THE DEATH METAL BATTLE ROYALE BEGIN!"

Madori put his guard up and he looked out to the other fighters. There were an assortment of fighters but none of them looked like the cream of the crop. Most looked average at the most, however except that one guy. This was gonna be bad. Had been jumped all the time but not be even remotely capable opponents. He would have to be careful going into this battle royale, as anything could happen.

Everyone turned on each other and there was instant melee between the warriors. They were all human thankfully, weak and small compared to him. One of them stepped a few feet away letting stopping him from moving around. Madori eyed him and looked around to see if he was clear to engage. After seeing everyone pick a fighter to fight the match and begun and the chaos ensued.

He looked back and the man was dressed in some tunic and a leather vest and he had short pants sailors usually had. Where did they get this guy? He frowned and pushed forward to attack Madori. He took a wide swinging right hook at his head. Madori was able to put up a decent guard and took the brunt of the punch with his left arm.

Sojima retaliated with an uppercut to the mans chest. He could feel several ribs crack under the pressure of his punch. It lifted the man off of his feet and he flipped backwards on to his back. Apparently the wind ha been knocked out of him. One down already. He had caught him off guard and one strong punch was enough to do it.

He could faintly hear the announcer saying something loudly but he was to focused on the battle ahead of him. Madori couldn't afford to be distracted by a man on a megaphone. He turned his focus to the multiple fights going on. Across the arena on the other side, he could very easily see a build up of energy.

It was the same strong fighter from before. Now he could hear the announcer more clearly saying, "Yen is preparing his special attack!"

Yen raised both of his hands in the air and a cackle of lightning specked from his fingertips. No way... He thought he would not have to use his Devil Fruit if the enemies were this weak. This man...was not. He yelled and more lightning began shoot out in a ball of energy. A frightening attack to the men surrounding him. Yen raised his hands higher and he hit the ground with his fists.

There was rumble as the ground erupted with a large electrical discharge. It spread out like wild fire taking no time in jumping onto the fighters. Madori was at least thirty meters away from him when he unleashed his attack and there were five people alone that were close to him. Including one who had been felled already to his attack.

The blast electrocuted all five who were within the range of Yen. They shouted and what they could before their muscles restricted movement and fried up. Then they hit the ground. Some were convulsing, from the aftershocks of the powerful attack.

In the background the announcer could be heard, "And just like that Yen has taken out six competitors all by himself! This years Yen is a stronger force then we've seen before."

The other combatants were shocked, mentally that is, and so was Madori. Whatever he did in this battle, he absolutely could not be hit by that point blank. It would definitely kill him.

Madori's focus had been broken by the display of power from Yen. There were still five of them left after Yen defeated six by himself. And others had taken advantage of it and attacked. Madori received a left straight punch to the side of his jaw that rocked him. He went hitting the arena and the people in the stands laughed. If they knew the true power he wielded they wouldn't be so cheeky.

But he was concentrating on the wrong things. He had his focus but he lost it gawking at Yen. He had a much more explosive trump card but he had to use it sparingly. Madori went stumbling a few feet backwards.

His vision was out of place for a second before he saw his attacker. He was preparing for another strike and he went swung wildly with his right at Madori's head. The Pirate leaned back to his left to avoid the punch. The man swung by and stumbled and shuffled his feet for the sudden miss. Sojima took advantage and swung forward and connected a left punch then he followed up with the right. Each hit was as satisfying as the last.

The man was dazed by each punch and was bleeding from the nose just after those two punches. Madori grabbed his shoulders and pulled him close and drove his knew into the mans stomach. He coughed out loudly and fell to the ground knocked out.

Madori looked around as he checked his jaw which stung still. There was still anarchy going on as more enemies were trying to gang up on each other. Others had given up on trying to fight Yen at the moment. His armored red gloves weren't cackling at the moment and he was prowling to for another opponent. He would have to be the last person Madori fought if he was to have any chance. He needed him to be worn down as much as he could.

From what Madori could tell. It seemed as if Yen could not use that electrical blast consecutively. He had to charge it, how long was anyone else guess. They did not have any means of testing it besides waiting. So that was Sojima's plan. He had to wait till he used it again, somehow dodge the blast and lead the attack. He was sure Yen's next attack would wipe the floor with the rest of the combatants and himself he wasn't careful. Two more fighters were slayed at the hands of a swordsman. Leaving five left including Madori.

The swordsman was feeling cheeky and the other three decided not to gang up on each other but on Yen who had been circling the group. Madori walked forward along with the other three. Making a group of four. Realizing that Yen was more dangerous by himself and they needed numbers. An unspoken agreement between the four combatants. However that mattered not, for Yen had finished charging.

Madori noticed the attack merely by the confident smile that played on Yens face. He had avoided the blast before, to his thoughts he believed it was because he was about thirty meters out. But anything within twenty was fair game. And they were within five meters. There was no dodging this they had figure something out. They tried to run forward to cover the ground between them. Yen's back was against the arena walls so he had no where to run.

It was to late, he was raising his hand when suddenly, a flying object went flying and it hit Yens right handed glove. There was a clank as it momentarily stopped him. In his bewilderment, this allowed them to get closer however Yen was still able to get the attack off when they reached two meters. Madori did the only thing he could think of. He only had one chance because Yen was a better fighter and he could possibly kill him.

Yen yelled and hit the ground with his left and right hands and a shower of lightning burst into the ground, and like before it spread out widely. Before it got to Madori, he shoved a combatant next to him to the ground with his foot. Using him as a board of sorts, he the lightning passed by and the mans face fell straight into it.

Madori used the mans head to propel himself. The lightning electrocuted the others and they were instantly incapacitated. At the same moment Madori's right fist became encased in magma as he prepared his deadliest strike. Launch didn't give him much air but he was able to launch over the blast to a surprised Yen.

His jump was a tad bit off and he went crashing into Yen. The defending champion wasn't going down that easy. And he rolled with Madori and kicked him off forcefully. The Magma man went sailing and landed hard on his back. The winded instantly and his back was hurting from the fall. His magma disappeared instantly from his hand. He looked up and saw the swords and spears pointing back at him Damnit. I can't afford to keep it on all the time. It needs to be for a single strike! Yen was more than upset with Madori somehow surviving his attack. He was willing to bet that didn't happen often.

But he was unnerved and got back up on his feet and proceeded towards Sojima. Something told the young Pirate to roll away from the wall. He did so making quick movements with his arm and rolled away. Just as Yen's foot came crashing down where his head was to be. As he rolled he couldn't get a good lock on his location and he stopped to look. He was instantly kicked hard in the chin. This was a mouth chin check. Turns out his chin was weak as well.

Blood spluttered out of Madoris mouth, as his head shot back forcefully. The kick was very strong and had even lifted him up back on his feet. Madori had never been kicked that hard before. He put up his guard instantly hoisting his hands up to his face. There was yelling, his ears were ringing and he was slightly dazed. For second he could not see but then vision cleared then he saw Yen was jeering towards the crowd. This angered Madori as he had gotten a lucky shot on him. He ran forward covering the ground in between them which was a few meters.

The roar of battle may have begun to tire him, as he was moving more slowly than usual but he pushed on. He swung and punched at Yen and he blocked the blows easily. His form of Martial arts were practical and efficient against someone who was basically a brawler. Yen began to connect more hits on the young Pirate. The gloves on Yen were armored but did not pack an electrical charge in each of his hits. Which would have ended Madori instantly.

However his punches to his face and stomach hurt well enough. Madori was getting beat pretty badly, and he begun to get worried. This son of a bitch is going to kill me if I don't do something. Another punch connected into his face as he was trying to right hook Yen. A counter-puncher as well it seemed.

With the Magma man being the only one left in the arena it was Yen who got to pick on him. Even after dealing with so many foes at once. Yen was still kicking his ass and hadn't broken a sweat. Yen was getting more confident in the win and the Twins on the podium were losing their minds in the jeers and cheers.

Madori couldn't hear much, he had taken a lot of blows to the head. And he wasn't able to land a single punch on Yen after his initial tackle. Blood poured from his mouth as he was taking MODERATE damage to his face and chest. His nose might've been broken he wasn't sure. But his entire face hurt which was why he couldn't tell. And somehow Madori was still on his feet although stumbling backwards close to the sword and speared walls.

Yen knew he had this match in the bag. However he had not been punched by Madori during their exchange. He quieted down the crowd with his hands and spoke to Madori. "There's no way you're this weak. How did you even defeat anyone at all?"

So the jeers began. So what. It looked like it was time for Madori to whip out his trump card. He had no choice now and he was being beaten badly. "Heres what I'll do. I'll let you get one punch on me." Yen slapped his abs of steel. "Lets see what you're made of." The crowd edged this on, thinking that Madori was to damaged to do any relative damage.

It looked as if Yen believe that as well. The perfect opportunity. Madori only needed one punch. His most deadliest attack designed to kill. Madori ignored the crowd and the announcer who wasn't saying that he wanted to hear. Yen had distanced himself from Madori by about six meters. Sojima stumbled forward and begun to pick up his pace. Yen held his hands out and his chest was bare and open.

Magma covered his fist again and but this time it was brightened and his fist burned hotter than before. "Meigo!" The Dark Hound technique. Madori cocked his hand back and struck forward as hard as he could. His punch connected to Yens chest and he realized at the last minute how much of a mistake it was.

When Madori's fist burned right through his chest. He shut the magma down as soon as he could and his fist remained through his chest as the the rest of the bettors and crowds exclaimed loudly. And even the announcer shut his mouth. Yen looked mortified and he clutched his chest dramatically. With no lungs to say anything he fell to the ground. Dead.

Still no one said anything, staring in disbelief. The Twins happened to be beside themselves with rage. Especially Captian Red. Madori looked up at the announcer and said slowly, "I....win."

Act 3

The silence was more deafening than Madori realized as he saw that stunned and shocked faces staring back at him. The most shocked faces belong to the bettors who unfortunately had a bad bet. The Twins were none to happy. As Madori spied Captain Red's face which was stuck in perputal agony it seemed. But it quickly turned from that to anger and then to rage. "You cheated!" Captain Red said pointing an accusing finger to Madori the last fighter standing.

With getting his head beat so thoroughly he thought he might have misheard Red for Madori replied with, "Huh?"

Captain Red stood up with his rock like attire, but he was still menacing. "He somehow cheated! How the hell could he punch a hole in someone?"

"Fair point but everything goes except guns-"

"Silence!" Red said beside himself, he wasn't his usual cool self like when he first met Madori. "Seize him!"

Madori never realized how many security guards there were. They were standing unmoving and unnoticeable. Five of them stepped away from their posts brandishing their guns, they entered through a locked gated door that led to the podium's stand. They flooded out and circled Madori in only a minute. They were quick alright.

Madori was to tired to be bothered with this betrayal. "Red I don't know what you have going on but I earned my prize."

Red ignored him and walked away with a shifty eyed Blu following him. "Don't you ignore me damnit!"

Madori yelled before the guards converged on him. He was to tired to use his ability to fight five different people at once. So he was preparing to fight them barefisted when he was hit in the back of the head with the butt of a gun. Instantly knocking him out.

Madori
Unspecified Time Passes....

---------------------------------------

There was a cold splash against his face which aburptedly woke him up. Madori shook his face as his wet hair was stuck against his face and he couldn't see a thing. Through the blury water running down through his eyes. He was able to make out three shadowy figures. He tried to move his body but he was bound from the chest down with a thick rope to a raggedy chair. "You piece of shit Madori." He heard a somewhat familiar voice speak.

"You know how much you screwed us!"

"Thats no way to speak to a guest." Madori jibed. His head was killing him, getting knocked out was worse than a hangover. He was able to blink away some of the water in his eyes and he could see a little better now. Red and Blu were there with another man who might've been another Metal Band Pirates. "Besides you screwed me!"

Red stepped forward and punched Madori in the jaw with such force he tipped over in his chair and fell with it to the floor. Alright that one hurt. The man standing with the them moved over and repositioned Madori by picking him off the floor to his original position.

"You weren't supposed to win this bout. We were only looking for squalor for Yen to fight. Not defeat him. He was on a loan to us!" Madori was able to see a little better after getting the water knocked off his face. A little dazed as well from his previous fight and still getting abused did not help the healing process.

"So you sent everyone in there to die."

There was a pause in the rage in Captain Red was starting to show. "...Yes! You were here to entertain our guests and for our Champion to put Beli in our pockets."

Blu was trying to be the calm one but he to was upset. Madori couldn't understand their nervousness, their extreme reaction to the tournament. Moreover the killing of their Champion.

Madori was also quick to anger, "How the hell can you invite me to die and expect me to care."

Blu replied this time, "You should care. Since you are going to replace him."

Madori didn't like the sound of where this was going. "Replace him? Replace what. The tournament is over. Won't be back up for another year."

"You are going to be Jumo's new experiment."
