Bazil hung back as Fae spoke to Jackal, tossing him a coin after her conversation. Much of which Bazil didn’t listen too, zoning in and out, his mind drifted to various places. Though, it was mostly lewd thoughts about the woman speaking. After she was done, she turned to the redhead and snapped him back to reality, telling him everything would be covered. “Sounds like a good fuckin deal to me.” He snickered, as she finished up, Jackal walked up and patted him on the shoulder. Offering words of advice, “C’mon Ears, you know me!” Bazil said with a smile, giving a thumbs up for some assurance to his little brother, though it came off as more of an ominous gesture than a sign of faith. He’d follow his furry mink friend out of the room and split off after a few feet, while Jackal left the brothel, Bazil made his way to the main stage. He’d swagger up to the front with a big smile on his face, “Ayo! Someone give me the lineup!” He’d yell, a well dressed woman would line up the inventory in front of the pirate, fishmen and women, minks, a dwarf, and obviously humans of both genders stood in front of him. Some of the humans were cross dressed, some Okama and some so far as ladyboi’s, having the appearance of a woman but packing the heat of a man. Madame Fae had it all, there was a reason she was considered one of the top spots in Baltigo and it sure wasn’t for the food. The pirate walked up and down the line, recalling the words of Madame Fae, “I’ll take em all!” The pirate chuckled, surprising the entire line up of twenty, “The more the merrier, right?” His arms wrapped around the fishwoman he had come across earlier and a small petite little woman, she was beautiful and had a rack out this world, but she was also packin alittle pistol in her panties. Though, Bazil didn’t care, for him it was about the dominance, the control, the power. He was as greedy as he was unpredictable, evident by his action of taking them, he turned back and glanced at his mixed matched harem that followed. “Hope you’re ready for a grand fucking time!” He yelled, whistling, hooting, and hollering as he began herding them all into the VIP room. One generally only used for the most important of guests, having been used by kingpins and royalty alike, the room was lined with red velvet and gold, the bed was more than big enough for the entire party and the lights were set on a constant dim. Slow jazz hummed in the background as Bazil stood at the giant double door, closing them slowly with a devilish grin stretched across his face as the shadows engulfed his body from either side and just before the shut completely his eyes made contact with the woman who had done the line up, “Oh, by the way, this is all on that fuck Alex’s tab!” He laughed maniacally closing the doors on what was sure to an orgy for the ages. For the next hour, what sounded like beasts in the wild could be heard from the room, moans echoed and names were shouted, most prominently Bazil’s, though his member was only slightly above average, his stroke game was as vicious as his temperament, knowing full well how to use each and every inch he was blessed with, showing that killing wasn’t his only talent.

The doors cracked open and light shined on the naked bodies of those inside, Bazil sat perched up and surrounded by the satisfied workers. Their nude figures intertwined with each other, covered in all sorts of bodily fluids. “Its time..” The female voice would say, causing his signature devilish smile to erupt on his face once again as he peeled himself away from the mass of fleshy goodness, arms outstretched, begging him not to go. Without so much as a glance, the pirate stood up, grabbing his clothes and walked out into the main room of the venue, exposing himself for all to see. He’d walk over to the bar and tap his hand down, a bottle was placed down in front on the counter and as the bartender went to grab a glass, Bazil shook his finger at him and uncorked the bottle of whiskey. Throwing his head back, the pirate began to gulp down the liquor like it was water, until he the bottle was finished. After which he slam the bottle on the table and let out a refreshed gasp. Then, piece by piece he put his suit attire back on and flicked up his collar, smirking as he strolled over to Madame Fae.

“Lets get this fuckin show on the road..” He snickered, standing next to the beautiful woman as he escorted her to the Auction house. As they walked, Bazil listened to the words Madame Fae spoke and when she was finished, he’d reply, “First thing” He snapped back, “ I don’t fuckin owe anybody nothing..” He started, “But, if you need somebody dead, I’m definitely your guy! Just point em out and I’ll take care of the rest.” As the duo got to the bottom of the steps, Bazil would hold out his eblow and offer to escort the Madame, “Shall we?” He smirked devilishly, they would stroll up the stairs together, regardless of if she took his arm or not. As they stopped to speak, Bazil mostly ignored the banter that was exchanged as he was busy scanning the area for possible threats and good looking women, whichever caught his attention first. After they finished, Fae led the pirate to the Box marked with an “X”, there they would enter into the room, it had a good view of the stage and the rest of the Auction house, allowing Bazil to see anything that would unfold, or even get a possible shot off to an unsuspecting victim if need be. He’d walked to the front of the box and leaned over the railing, eyeing up the crowd until he spotted Ears dressed as part of the wait staff, “Ha! Look at that little penguin lookin fuck!” Bazil laughed, amused at his little brother serving those he wanted to rip off, though he’d notice something around the minks neck that changed his demeanor, quickly souring his expression. After the Madame took her seat, Bazil would follow and sit next to her, putting up his feet on the railing the was in front of them and leaning back in his chair. “Lemme know when this shit gets interesting.” He mumbled, his tone completely different from before, giving a look that seemed like he was about to doze off at any minute.

Alex listened half hearted to Fae's instructions to Mr Bandit King and Red Head, and instead appeared to just look at the wall behind Fae with a look that shows that he was off in his own little world. It was only after the two left that he would look to Fae with all the attention she deserved. As in all of it. She spoke to him of his contact and what to expect and Alex could honestly say he wished the red haired idiot would of taken the job. Alex's eyes went to his gun, Colada, when Fae placed it before him. Taking the a drag of his cigar before taking it out of his mouth, he would blow out the smoke away from Fae and pick up his gun. Looking it over real quick, even looking down the sites, he would open the cylinder to finder all eight bullets nice and loaded for him. Flicking the chamber back in place with a move of his wrist, Alex would open up the top of his coat after putting the cigar back in his mouth, and place it inside the pocket he had specially made of Colada. Closing the jacket it looked like there wasn't a gun hidden in his breast pocket. With a pat on his breast pocket and a smirk, Alex would speak. "Fae, have I ever told you how happy I am to know you? Because right now I am certainly happy with our business relationship." picking up his suitcase, he would turn to leave but stopped mid way to fix Fae with a serious look. "Quick word of warning though, Mr Bandit and Red ARE going to do something. Just make sure it doesn't kill ya." With a laugh as he walked towards the door, Alex would continue. "As if some no name could kill you. See ya after the auction Fae." With a wave of his hand over his shoulder Alex left the room.

----------

The walk with the guard to the location was uneventful besides Alex having thrown away the butt of his cigar over his shoulder. Though on the way, Alex took stock of what he knew of Mr Garavito. Which was very little in and of itself, but he still thought of what he knew. Alex had of course heard plenty of rumors about him, he tended to stick as close to the rumor mill as he could get on Baltigo, and had heard some pretty disturbing things of what he did to people. Definitely something he didn't wish to be apart of. Alex could keep a pretty damn good poker face on, so he could only hope the rumors wasn't as bad as they seemed to be.

The building itself didn't seem out of place to Alex, just another in a row of houses on the street. Of course it was the feeling of the building that gave away everything. He could feel how disgusting this place was, he didn't even think it was because of his experience in the underworld. If he was a normal person he might of had the same revulsion to the place. With a dismissal wave to the guard, Alex stepped up and knocked and relayed the code. And a few minutes later Alex understood why this place radiated revulsion. The fat merman bastard looked somewhere between a sea slug and an inflated balloon. Though Alex only looked for a moment, he put on his best damn sly and confident poker face and hopped up onto the fat bastard's stomach. With a wiggle of his eyebrows and a playful look crossing through his eyes, Alex asked "So whats first?" in a jovial voice like he was genuinely excited to get started. Though he made his face appear dejected, Alex would comply with the man's request and put the collar around his neck. Would get him through the gate easier then going without it despite how much he loathed putting it on. Worse comes to it, he could just shoot the fast bastard and get his leash, or shoot the link itself and break it. Colada was a strong gun after all. "Later then, I'll be looking forward to tonight." Alex would respond with a wink, more a nod to he couldn't wait for the auction then whatever the fat bastard had planned. He wouldn't be there for that.

----------

Alex and the fat bastard were to the Auction with little delay after their little came of cat catching mouse, again with little interruptions. It seemed that nothing was going to happen in public before the auction. Which was definitely a good thing. It meant the fruit was still on the table. He could only hope s hit pops off when he can get into a good position, or at least into a position where he can respond quickly. The room which the fat bastard was given allowed a great deal of visibility, meaning Alex could see plenty of what was happening around the auction. Even if it wasn't the best view in the house it was damn good enough he could see plenty of action. Now all he had to do was wait for everything to go to shit.

Alex spared a glance to the guard who addressed him, clearly a digger of intel that man, before returning his attention to the auction. He considered the question for a few moments while he pulled out the final cigar from the sleeve of his coat. Bit, click, and a drag and Alex was enjoying himself the final Cigar. Alex did ponder the question as he blew smoke in the opposite direction of the fat bastard. In all honestly he had met Fae at a chance of fate. She was only a small time Brothel owner at the time, and he was just some crook that was delving into the underworld, robbing people blind with a few words and a tip of the hat. He had spent a payday from Water 7 in Fae's brothel and he supposed the rest was history. She got his commerce and he got some good entertainment. The occasional scratching of the back with each other kept their relationship good. She gave him some good info and spread a harmless rumor or two, and he made some of her competition go bankrupt. It was a good relationship to Alex. It was strange to think they had met over a decade and some change ago. He laughed mentally, yeah him and Fae went far back. But that was enough nostalgia, he now needed to give the man a snarky reply. "Well you see, there is a little thing called a grape vine. And Madam Fae's name is pretty synonymous with it." reply Alex said not looking away from the auction. Alex wouldn't say anything else. The guard had obviously wanted to hear how he knew her, well there. He got what he wanted. Now, when would everything go 'Boom'...

Within their box that had begun to set up for the auction as it continued. All they were doing was tapping each and every Den Den mushi that was within the other boxes. They weren't ordering anything nor would they be. Box E was their headquarters for the time being and would be so till they would finish their assigned task. Unlike others that may be here to participate in this Auction they were here to gain a specific object that would be of great use to their cause. "Is everything ready?" "Yes, we can hear everything even if they aren't actively using their Den Den mushi."

The amount of Beli that had been gained in the first hour of this auction was more than most would see in their lives. There weren't however many bidding wars that prolonged the gaining of a item. Everything was running smoother than they had in years. Arges expect this much. None of the big players had been making moves other than Mr. Garavito. How had purchased multiple panties that no one else saw any value you in.  Arges had been having certain items auctioned off in a specific order. Problems could occur the moment 'those' items were put up for auction. So getting rid of the things he knew wouldn't cause a fuss was working in his favor. All payments being done the moment it was declared someone won the item. For those within a Box would have their items brought right to them. Everyone else had already given a location they'd want it sent to. Creatures too large wouldn't be sent to the Boxes; but rather to a location they would be wanted in. For those that lied about their fund and weren't able to make the transaction would find themselves removed from the Auction. Only three were exempt from the fate that could possible befall someone.

Arges would clear his throat, as it was time. Time for him to start reveals the big items. He'd start with one of the biggest right away. A sinister grin was held back as he waited for his assistants to wheel the covered object out. "Ladies and Gentlemen. We all know about Devil Fruits. But. Logia, Paramecia, and Zoans. Through means the world has been able to place them within those three categories. We do not really know the extent of how special these fruits can be. Well, until recently. As I have occured one that I know a lot about. It was a taxing ordeal to regain it once I found it out, but I was able to. So, the two items up right now. IS A DEVIL FRUIT OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS AND THE PROCESS THAT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN TO GAIN A DEVIL FRUIT THAT HAS BEEN EATEN!" With his finally words yelled the silk sheet over what was wheeled in would be yanked away. Revealing a fruit and rolled up piece of paper within a glass case, it sitting on a pedestal. Many eyes would sparkle from the Fruit being displayed on the screens. He held no lies within his words. As he knew the consequences if a lied was sold. He wasn't finished however as a price hadn't be placed yet. But there wouldn't be a need for that as a bid would quickly be tossed in.

Madame Fae would place her order for her drink she mentioned to the others within her establishment. This being around fifteen minutes before the big announcement. She didn't know if Bazil was asleep or not right now. She didn't care as she enjoyed the peace within her box right now. Due to Jackle serving another when she placed her order someone else would bring her drink. And that is when the announcement was made. She wasn't fazed by it but once she saw the bid that was placed she'd spit out the red liquid within her mouth. "O-one billion beri."

They couldn't have a VIP waiting for long so begrudgingly Jackla would be given the new assignment as Mr. Garavito's box booth. His eagerness was a bit suspect however and another assigned to the box booth was instructed to watch him. And if he does anything suspicious they were to report back immediately.

By the time Jackal would arrive to Mr. Garavito's box the Fishman would turn his attention to Alex. "I feel so lucky! Give me a kiss...I feel that will help my lucky streak." He would pull on the chain that was connected to the collar around Alex's neck. Since the Man didn't show defiance and willingly put on the collar Mr. Garavito felt he was a sweat boy rather than a tough one, which he had thought. His request would've been a entirely different one if that was the case. He expected a kiss right now and wanted one without delay. Doing this right after the bid for the fruit was made. He wanted a kiss before he'd bid. There was another option however. As the guard that had been with them was no longer within the room. He had left to visit the bathroom after the incident with the last waiter. He saw the first two shocks. And helped the Man out of the room. He wasn't a good person but he wasn't a fan of people suffering. He worked for Mr. Garavito who was a deviant but never was around during the brutal portions. He never gave a time he'd arrive but he would come back. And in that time Mr.Garavito with his eyes closed could be struck and if enough force is given he'd be knocked out. This would more than likely be the only chance to do this action quickly and without difficulty. With the attention of everyone within the audience and other box booths on the items or bid that had been placed. Also, at the time of the request the order placed by Mr. Garavito should arrive.

"Finally."
He would just say one word after placing his bid. He could tell by the sudden silence that many were shocked at the bid being placed before a price was given, but he didn't care. He had come here for one item and one item alone. The extra information was a good bonus but he didn't care for it. From the rumors he had somewhat of a grasp on the abilities that were available once he occurred the item. He was sent here for just one thing and that was it. He would do everything within his power to gain it. Even if it meant he'd have to slaughter every single person here. He was strong enough and was already prepared to do so if need be. Patiently he waited as Arges began to ask once. Then ask twice. However, before he was able to say 'sold.' Another bid had been quickly placed. The amount being double the one previously given.

He'd suck his lips is disgust at the arrogance of his competitor. "It would be him." Black Henry would comment as he would look over to the wall to his right. The person within the box booth C being the one that had tried to outbid him. Names weren't placed on the display screens. Just the number they had or in this case the letter of their box. It wasn't going to be a battle between anyone other than those within the Box booths now. That was evident with the first bid placed.

"泥棒の間で栄誉"

It's the thrill in the end. In that moment when something stolen becomes mine or is it? That's the bliss I desire.

Luck, Fate or Destiny. Whatever it was, it'd guided Jackal towards the target of the whole evening, the VIP Section. As stated prior, all of the A-Listers were placed in Box Seats, each equipped with their own personal staff and toiletry facilities. The amount of staff manning each booth didn't really depend on the size, but the amount of personnel available on the night. Guided by the senior server, who was still immensely shaken up from Mr.Gravito's last outburst, he'd begin to prepare Jackal as they'd exit through the door marked '41'. The area they'd be enter into now would be a closed off area back-stage next to the ORGAN area, it was hallway that servers working the VIP Section would use to get to and from the kitchen area, towards the staircase that'd lead to the balcony section of the area. Situated on this particular block section were the boxes for the letters, 'Z','X','Y','W','V' and 'U', six in total, 'W' being the box allocated for Mr.Gravito's party. The balcony area overlooked the general seating from the boxes and the stage, however, they'd be circling around through the staff's entrance, which would lead to a hallway, a long stretching one with each box marked by a door as they'd advance. Finally making it up the staircase, the waiter and Jackal exited into the hallway, beginning the traverse towards Mr.Gravito's 'W' Box.

"Our job is simple. We take the orders given to us by the guests. Circulating through each box just in case our other staff is busy handling prior orders." the waiter explained.

"Roger Doger."
Jackal replied quickly nodding his head in understanding.

"Question. If all of the VIP's are cramped up in the booth, how are they're bids placed?" Jackal inquired.

"Ah. That's simple. Den Den's are placed in each box. The guest talks to one of the bookers in real time, and we convey they're order to organiser on stage. No connection needed. You just pick up the Den Den and place your bid." the waiter explained.

Jackal didn't really give much of a response aside from making the noise, 'Ah', and continuing to trail behind the waiter.

The boxes were open air format, meaning for the most part, each of the box owners could've pretty much visually see into each other's box, though, seeing actual activity would've been a hard peg to make due to the large number of staff bustling through the gaps between the boxes. It was also how when Jackal entered into neighbour 'W' box area, he'd shoot Madam Fae a wink, and capture a glance at the sleeping Bazil. However, he kept this as subtle as possible, he needed to focus on the task at hand. Once arriving at the requested area, the two would circle around the partition walls, provided to add intimacy to each box, and the sight before them was almost the start of a poorly shot smut film. Gravito's eyes would've been squeezed shut tightly, Alex's body being forced to invade the Fishman's personal space by a simple tug towards the chain around his neck. The organisers of the auction had entered into the box, depositing the items purchased by Mr.Gravito to his left, whereas, Alex was to his right.

It was an efficient drop off, the funds had already been processed, so once the items had been set into place, they'd usher out of the room immediately, especially knowing how nasty the Fishman's track record was. The whole scene set of sparks in Jackal's mind, the only real solution to this whole mess brought a smirk to Jackal's face. It'd all happen in less than ten seconds, Jackal extending his hand to the nape of the waiter's neck, sending an electrical jolt through the girth of the man's neck, in one motion, Jackal leapt towards Mr.Gravito's position, using his wedged eyelids to his advantage, sinking his right foot into the man's face. The Mink's Electro covered foot rocked his brain with the high-jump kick, having enough force to rattle the Fishman unconscious, having no Endurance noted to resist. Even he'd survive the kick, the electrical surge would be enough to leave him paralysed temporarily. The only two conscious of the situation at hand was Jackal and Alex at this point. With everyone's eyes glued towards the stage, as the ridiculous bid of 1 Billion prior, had been now topped by another bid of 2 Billion, double the last quote, the crowd went into an uproar.

Jackal's ears tingled, he could've heard the sounds of flowing water coming from a room farther off to the back of the box, about thirty meters away. "Shishishi... Guess I have to be quick about this. I haven't been really following the whole auction." Jackal stated, walking around the area near to the Den Den, noticing a stack of papers. As he'd scale the list, his heart stopped momentarily. His expanded widely, as he'd shuffle over to the items delivered by the staff, comparing their item numbers to the detailed list of items on sale. "You've got to be shitting me. Do they even know what... These are..." Jackal murmured to himself. Flashing back to three months ago on Sandy, the item list for Pluton came to the forefront of his mind. Among the items that Mr.Gravito ordered, two of them stuck-out like a sore thumb to Jackal, especially with their item names.

  • Armageddon
  • Warehouse Directions and Access Key to Bunker 5607 in Ninth District for material simply known as Plutonus Wood.

"Armageddon... also known as Pluton's heart... These the blueprints for it. Plutonus Wood... Known as Pluton's Body." Jackal thought to himself, his hand entering into a shake as he couldn't believe the items stood before him. "Forget Mother. I need to escape with these immediately." Jackal concluded. Picking up the folded graph paper called Armageddon, snatching the access key, Jackal slipped them into the inner coat of his provided suit. Turning towards Alex, "I'm not sure what exactly you've come here for but this is pretty much it for me." Jackal stated grinning. "I suggest you decide your next move before whoever it is in the bathroom returns." Jackal concluded, beginning to shatter the collar around his neck with a series of minuscule electrical charges, shattering the restraint.

The moment the bid was announced, Bazil’s eyes opened and he sat up, smacking his knees with his hands the pirate rose to his feet. Dusting off his shoulders and popping his collar, a sinister smile erupted on his face as he glanced over at Madame Fae, who had just spewed her drink all over the box. “Show time!” He exclaimed, his attention turning to the main floor, while the VIP’s were nestled in the comfort of their box seats, the common rabble were all grouped together in one spot on the floor making them easy targets. While everyone in the room was distracted and in shock of the doubled down bid, Bazil jumped off the balcony, while in midair he turned his right arm into a rocket launcher and fired down into the middle of the grouping. Simultaneously, the pirate used his left hand to grab Madame Fae by her shirt, his hand extending out via a chain connecting his wrist and forearm that could reach up to fifteen meters in length, which was more than enough to cover the gap that had been created. As Madame Fae had no discernable stats and she would be caught off guard, she should be dragged down with the pirate fairly easily. The explosion would send the limbs of those in its path flying out in all directions, engulfed in flames, which would spread to the fine tapestries and carpets that were draped around the auction house, creating a panic among those left alive. The moment he landed, Bazil would unleash his conquerors haki, giving those around him little to no time to react, as they would be preoccupied with the sudden chaos that engulfed the room and would be currently fleeing for their lives, being sure to leave out his rag tag group of Jackal and Alex. Everyone within fifty meters of the pirate would succumb to his will, assuming they did not have the willpower to stand up to his immense spirit. While Madame Fae was falling, he would real in the chain that was connected to his hand and sling the woman’s no unconscious body over his shoulder. The auction house itself was no bigger than ninety meters meters, leaving only the organ area, boxes Z and F and the circle out of his reach along with boxes A and U, thanks to having been positioned directly in the center of the house thanks to Madame Fae’s X box position. Now, with the common folk trampling each other to get out and the fire continuing to spread throughout the building, those guarding the VIP’s should be hastily trying to protect their employers and look for a quick exit, away from the threat of danger as currently they would not be affected by anything aside from the pirates kings haki and those that were unconscious would soon succumb to the flames. Would risking the lives of their only sources of income be worth trying to take down one crazed pirate now? Taking him down later, after the threat to their suppliers was gone would make more sense. While those on the other side of the glass would be safe from the flames, they would need to lower it to make a move on the pirate, would it be worth exposing such a once in a lifetime item just to take on one psychopath?

“Burn you pig fuckers, burn!” Bazil laughed maliciously as his right hand was no a flamethrower, spewing out hellfire and adding to the already growing flames. He cared little for the type of people that inhabited this type of gathering, enslaving others and taking away their right to freedom, it didn’t sit well with the pirate at all. Not to mention he just enjoyed watching things burn. “OH! And bee sure to let the reaper know, BAZIL MOTHERFUCKING STYX SENT YA THERE!!” His laugh echoed amongst the chaos, drawing even more attention to himself by announcing his own name to those he was attempting to slaughter. The man known as the Red Devil was as reckless as he was crazy, he still carried Madame Fae over his shoulder, keeping her safe and sound and close to him just as Jackal had laid out in their earlier plan. As his eyes scanned the room, the pirate noticed a small, tan and white dog trapped inside of a cage that had a green hue to it, the handle being the only part that didn’t share the same material. The dog had been auctioned off earlier, being marketed as a Corgi with something special about it, Bazil locked eyes with the small dog and it let out a single yip. Which is all the pirate needed to fall in love. His eyes tearing up, Bazil jumped down and rushed through the flames, stepping over the smoldering bodies of those who had been trampled or caught in the earlier explosion. As he got to the Corgi, it yiped once more, Bazil squatted down next to it and looked deeply into the dogs eyes. “Yer so fuckin cuuuuuuteeeee!” He exclaimed, all traces of his malicious personality having disappeared and been replaced by nothing but love and affection. Bazil took hold of the metal handle and examined the strange green cage it had been stuffed into, though he never touched the bars, fearing the dog would escape if the cage was opened now. With the dog in his right hand and Madame Fae slung over his left shoulder, the pirate was now limited on attacking options until two large wings sprouted from his shoulder blades, comprised entirely of blades. Taking up much of the space around him, his wingspan covering thirty feet, meaning each wing had a range of fifteen feet. Bazil now stood roughly thirty meters from the front door, ready for a counter attack he braced himself and was ready to surround himself with his bladed wings to intercept any kind of attack that could be thrown at him, ensuring that he would not only protect himself, but his newly found dear corgi. His eyes scanned the upper boxes, looking for his brother, hoping that he was not caught in the aftermath of his rampage.

Alex's eyes widen and his mouth turned into the biggest grin he had ever sported, as he took in the site before him. All the way down on the stage is exactly what he came here for, the Mythical devil fruit. Hydra. He couldn't help himself as he sit himself forward and put his elbows on his knees. The thing he had to go through so much bullshit for, was sitting right over there. So close yet so damn far away. Life was unfair like that, yet now here he was ready to swipe it up like a kid in a damn candy store.

Alex was immediately removed from his mind by the fat bastard he was thoroughly threw with at this point, he had been patient, he had been diligent, and he had put up with the fat bastard's 'moves' and he was 100% done with it now. Yet he stopped himself from shooting the bastard and the chain that held him prisoner as the fact the fact bastard was going to bid for him solved a many a problem. Like making it so Alex didn't have to knocked him out and bidding on his behalf, and if he could have a damn cheap way to get the fruit to him without risking himself, he would sure as hell kiss this fat disgusting piece of shit. With his will solidified, Alex put on his best sexy smile and stood up to walk to the lump of waste when his great ole friend 'King of the Bandits' decided to knock out Alex's way to an easy victory.

Alex at first only looked on in shock as his fellow auction buster knocked the fat bastard out then proceeded to wonder his ass over to the list of things the fat bastard had been bidding on. Alex sure as hell didn't care about what the asshole was here to steal, but he sure as cared when it impacts his own shit. Ever so slowly, Alex turned to look directly at the 'Bandit king' with slowly dropping fake cheer and more of what is in line with rage. However as Alex looked at the bastard, He let out a sigh of pent up annoyance and pulled out his pride and joy Colada. Firing once into the fat bastard's head, and then holding out the chain to his leash and firing once again to break the chain, Alex was free of the fat bastard. After doing so, Alex would contemplate for a few moments, before planting two more shots in the fat bastard's head. Never know when someone is dead unless you go over kill.

Reloading Colada, Alex was about to speak when he looked out the booth and noticed that explosions and gunfire were taking place out in the main area. Alex knew shit had gone to hell when Gravito got knocked out but this further cemented it. He needed to move soon, before someone else nabbed the fruit before him. Turning back to the rat bastard, Alex spoke with a hurried voice as he finished reloading Colada. "Oh no you don't, you fucking owe me asshole. You never actually gave me the fifty million, and you just destroyed free get out of for free card. Not to mention without me you would never of gotten a meeting with Fae. So you can either help me get that fucking fruit, or" Alex pointed Colada at Jackal "We can have a real fun time in this booth." Clicking the hammer back into place on Colada and pointed it directly at Jackal's chest. No matter how fast the dude thought he was, Colada's bullets were sure as hell faster. Of course this was a fucking Gambit in a half. His friend was sure as hell strongest then most people Alex had encountered, and having the Bandit guy being an unknown was a bad thing for him. But better to force him to stay and be a meat shield then loose him and be down a useful meat shield. Just another gambit in Alex's life.

The general consensus within the auction at this moment was annoyance. This auction really wasn't for the small timers but the big players that sat within their box booth's. Goals ranging from wanting to simply participate to killing another were in mind. All of that became more complicated or even impossible due to someone that should've been watched when they had arrived. His reputation as a wild pirate should've been accounted for when he walked into this place with Madame Fae. She for bringing someone like this knew the risk and that if he did anything rash would suffer the same fate. There was only one group that was more careful than any other. And that was the one keeping tabs on everyone. Cipher Pol Nine. They didn't gain access through this title. They were at this time regarded as high rollers from Lulusia Kingdom. One of them even created the glass shield that was around the stage. Other items were brought also but they were masterful fakes. As stated before their objective was simple. Gain the Devil Fruit that was being auctioned. There would be only one and it was confirmed that there wouldn't be a fake or duplicate of it. It didn't matter who wanted to purchase it or how much they'd spend as they'd simply be arrested when they left with it. Even if they were to eat it the information to gain one was also available now and also a priority of theirs.

"SIR! Someone has leaped from their seat!" Their words grabbed the attention of not only the person they were speaking to but also someone else within the same booth. Both would be the ones to take action against what was to come. Turning from where they were looking and out they'd see the person in the box booth somewhat parallel to their be mid air. His hair and the ability he began to showcase let them know who he was. He wasn't on their list as another agency(another CP) was assigned with dealing with him. But he would not just be allowed to do whatever it was he wanted, especially if that interfered with their plans. As firing a weapon in such a way could caused the auction to be ended prematurely. So, as the Man(Bazil) began to sail outward Kuro and Blanc would also make their move. Unlike the Man they used specific moves to push themselves into quick speeds. Kuro would use Soru along with Geppo to place himself right above the Man. Hand clad in darkness(buso) and cocked back ready to be administered on his target. Tekkai also would be used to increased the striking power albeit it made it(his fist)travel just a bit slower. Their position within the air was not a problem as Geppo and Soru were not going to be just used once. Getting within his fists range was what he would do and keep up. The power of his legs and his overall speed was enough to place himself where he wanted to be before the rocket or missile attempted to make contact with it's targets. And even if it did that did not matter to him in anyway. Everyone here that didn't come with him were criminals and if they died they died. It wasn't his place to protect any of them. His goal was already stated. Dealing with Bazil right now was more of frustration for his planning being pissed on.

Blanc was faster than his superior, they all knew this. And using his glass to push himself toward Bazil could've been done easier that Kuro using Soru and Geppo, but he wouldn't. He was going to showcase and practice his ability. So, when he leaped from the box booth he went downward; and only had his head and right hand up at a angle to keep a eye on Bazil while his other was pointed at the ground. Pushing with a sudden burst of glass that stayed on the booth, to be used later. Stopping Bazil from attacking wasn't something they could do or cared to do. Even with them moving faster in their actions his first attack wouldn't be stopped from going through. He was a marksman and had a ability to have ammunition always on him. Without a second thought or hesitation he fired off a shard of glass at blinding speeds(his max). With a length of 2m and thickness of .5m. It's destination wasn't the rocket but rather the Man that fired it. It would make impact if landed at the same time Kuro was about to slam his fist into Bazil, if Kuro got there. Regardless it was a sure thing if not actively dealt with and didn't hinge on the actions of another. If it landed or not the explosion would occur, but not on the scale it was designed for. Blanc's ability had been already again and a surge of glass being pushed out to make another floor above the intended area of attack. To keep itself stable as it quickly grew in length legs came down regardless of who was there. The rocket could make contact with the glass or the audience, it didn't matter.

Less than fifty meters is what the area that was attack was in length. And the box booth's rested above them. A fire in this place would be problematic. So Blanc would quell it if need be. As those within would probably die but it stopped the fire from spreading and they may be allowed to continue the auction with just the big players. This Baltigo and worse things had been done. Holding a auction while people burned was more likely to be in the middle of the list of horrible deeds. Being aware that the enemy was airborne still and without knowledge of them have the ability to fly another precaution was made. Every inch of the platform held spikes protruding from them that would skewer almost anyone that made contact. Blanc turned his entire body to glass so if he could just stand onto of the large points. If the punch from Kuro would land sending Bazil down onto them would happen. And since Madame Fae was not allowed to be anything but weak assistance from here wouldn't happen. She was no longer in the position to even help preserve her life. As even if she made it out of this alive she would be hunted for brining Bazil here, and she knew this.

Black Henry would gaze at it all, and roll his eyes under his mask. He wanted what he came for. And if he had to take it by force he would. There was no one here that could actually stop him in his eyes. So whilst everyone was going on he would stand up and leave hs box booth. He entertained this entire ordeal long enough and would just take what was his.

He wasn't dealt with and would come back to see his 'boss' dead. But there was no expression of emotions on his face, as he didn't care. This Man was here with a plan just like everyone else. He just took a different approach. He had been under that creatures employment for a couple months just for this auction. Feeding him with reasons on what items he should get. So that he could take them all and bring them to the Revolunaries.

"Lower your gun. If you want that fruit....you better make your move now. The place they plan to take it is far from here, especially with a incident occurring. "
He spoke quickly as to try and weasel his way into the ranks of another. Though he hadn't shown or would show any indications of his schemes he would try his best to use them. Have them want to have him work with them. As with the attack of any scale happening the auction would be ended. People who wanted something specific would go and try and get it. Others would just leave. He saw Alex and Kaito as two that would go and get what they wanted. Since the item that Kaito also sought after hadn't been moved or even auctioned yet.

They needed to move quick regardless of what they would do. As Kaito was not liked. And with something happening blame would be shifted to him unfairly. And the Dog and the Bird would come for their prey. This wasn't saying that avoiding them was possible, as it wasn't. Just getting what you wanted first was going to be needed. The sad thing is that they weren't the only ones that were going to be making moves. As attempting to burn the hornets nest did nothing but get them outside and moving. Agitated from the chaos attempted to be thrown onto their world.

Arges would snap his fingers and prepare his excavation. He would head below the stage as he was going to make sure all of the product was moved out before he leant a hand to anyone.

"泥棒の間で栄誉"

It's the thrill in the end. In that moment when something stolen becomes mine or is it? That's the bliss I desire.

It all started for Jackal the moment that Alex pointed his pistol towards his chest. His triggered sixth sense perceived the next series of events, which included Bazil lunging off the side of the balcony like a mad man, and the returning guard from the bathroom revealing himself as a double agent. This situation was going to complete and utter chaos, as all of the kiddy gloves had been removed and it was time for Jackal to make moves of his own. As stated prior, Jackal had already obtained what he needed, as the items were delivered that Gravito had ordered prior to all of this fiasco, and what was the icing on the cake, he'd been able to obtain two pieces in helping towards obtaining the mysterious buzz word that was 'Pluton'. However, Alex was indeed right, if it wasn't for him, this development wouldn't have happened, if they were going to indeed secure the fruit, that seemed to be the root of all of this chaos, the stranger mediator would've indeed been right. "Shishishi... If Bazil's our acting distraction, we can get this fruit and get out of here. The moment Bazil gets serious, we're all cooked." Jackal stated. "I'll help you get your fruit... Just relax on pointing guns in my face, It makes me nervous." Jackal stated turning his back on Alex, and signalling for him to follow his next series of action. First, Jackal would've immediately picked up the Den Den's that had direct connection to the brokers handling the placing of the orders.

"What's going on!? This is Mr.Gravito's guard. He's so flustered, he's blue in the face. Right before he was going to make a major bid too! He won't be satisfied unless his bid for the fruit will be processed."
Jackal stated, putting on airs about the current situation at hand.

"In like of all of the players present, we'll be relocating the items to our storage room until our security for the night handles the matter. Two of our patrons have even opted to subdue the pirate. Please wait until-" the operator conveyed being cut off early by Jackal hanging up the line.

"Shishishi... Looks like your fruit is being moved to a storage area."
Jackal stated, shifting from his position from the Den Den to peak over the balcony towards the sinking Giant, relocating to beneath the stage. "Any bets it's wherever that big guy's going." Jackal stated. "Alright here's the plan..." Jackal stated, putting on his Bandit thinker cap.

"We'll steal Mr.Gravito's VIP Access card. All of these lugs should've gotten one. Two of you will follow me to the staff area, from there we'll head backstage, and once the coast is clear or not, we'll strong arm our way. Get the fruit. I'll see what other goodies they have that I can grab on the way as well." Jackal stated.

Once the plan was agreed upon by Jackal, he'd waste no time. The route had already been mapped out in his head from his introductory tour earlier. They'd exit out into the VIP only area, the hallway behind the booths, traverse back towards the staircase, which would place them on the ground floor beneath the booths. From there, using the open space that was the VIP Staff's Lounge, they'd make there towards the area behind the platform, as the VIP doors connected directly to the stage. Finding the entrance to below the stage would've been easier after this point. Regardless of if the posse agreed or not, that was the plan. Jackal had signed onto the thrill of stealing this Mythical on Alex's behalf, maybe even for himself to sell back later, who knew. All that Jackal knew, was that he'd need an excuse to clog the VIP hallway with booth owners regardless of the Bazil's actions.

Peering around the room momentarily before their exit, a grin plastered across the Mink's face. Staring at the fire alarm in the centre of the ceiling to his booth, Jackal followed the line it was connected to, and the answer had become evident. A centralised fire alarm system would trigger the watering system for every other room within this building, and soaking everyone would've played into his plan for later. In one move, Jackal mustered up saliva in his mouth, spitting off three loogies towards the ceiling, each of them stopping short before exploding. The heat from the explosion was more than enough to not only trigger watering station, but collapse the 'W' booth. Snatching Mr.Gravito's pass from his person, Jackal dashed into hallway in means and action star would, if they wanted to stay behind and get crushed, that was the others business. Time was of the essence.

"Let the race begin." Jackal stated grinning.

The rocket came in contact with the glass table that had appeared above the auction house floor, sheltering all those below it. The strength of the glass was tough(6), meaning the explosion(5) could only do as much as crack the glass, weakening it’s structural integrity. As Bazil twisted in the air, he noticed the actions that were set into motion, a blur of a man appearing above him and a glass spike flying towards him from the side. The pirate was in a precarious spot, one wrong move would mean the end of his life for sure. Having reeled in Madame Fae’s body, he was able to just barely put her in between himself and the haki clad strike that was about to rain down him, using her body to cushion the blow. As he did this, metal blades began to sprout out from the his back, creating two wings that would surround his body in an attempt to block the glass shard that was fired at him, however, the speed of the glass was to great and all the wings did was throw off its trajectory slightly, causing it to pierce the forearm that held up Fae’s body instead of the intended kill shot. As the shard went clean through the pirates arm, the other man’s fist made contact with Fae’s body, the force being so great that audible cracking sounds echoed out as her body crumpled into Bazil’s own, sending them both plummeting down onto the spiked glass table. The metal wings now wrapped around Bazil, he would land at the same point that the explosion had hit earlier, as he had fired it straight down from where he was in the air at the time. With the power behind the punch and the metal wings that now surrounded him, he would crash through the compromised section of glass and fall to floor, avoiding being skewered for the time being. For a few moments after landing, the pirate stayed wrapped up in his bladed cocoon, the force behind the punch that had sent Fae crashing into him had been cushioned, but it still had more than its fair share of power behind it. Cracking a few ribs and knocking the wind of him was an understatement, on top of the hole in his left forearm, the pirate was in a bad spot. “Shit…*cough*… these fuckers aint no joke.. *cough*… *cough..” The Red Devil chuckled, coughing up blood intermittently as his usual sadistic laugh now put a strain on him due to the cracks in three of his ribs. The wings opened up slightly as Bazil pushed the now lifeless Madame Fae off of himself and slowly rose to his feet, he kept his wings wrapped around himself as to protect from any quick counters from his attackers.

Bazil took note of the strike from the man earlier, the speed and power behind it, along with the strange black coating, recalling that he had seen it used by others many times before. In the fight with Simon and Mo, both of them demonstrated its use, along with his brother Jackal. Glancing down at his own hand for a moment, Bazil thought back to when his adoptive father mentioned the power that lied dormant within him. The power of a conqueror, Ripper called it Haki and told the child that he had great aptitude for it, having been just a young boy when he showed signs of using the kings power. Bazil’s eyes shot back towards his attackers, “That black shit on yer hand, it’s that hockey shit aint it..?” The pirate asked with a devilish smirked, balling his fist up and thrusting it forward at the man in an attempt to coat his own limb black. Though, he was unsuccessful, causing his smile to fade away and be replaced by a callous frown, he’d shake his hand a few times before trying it again. Only to be met with the same result, frustrated he let out a roar that could be heard throughout the entire auction house. “AYOO! EARS!!!” He shouted, “HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DO THAT BLACK HOCKEY SHIT?!!!” All of this would only take but a few seconds, keeping his wings up to intercept any would be attack that would be fired at him. At this time, droplets of water began to rain down throughout the auction house, quickly followed by a large crashing noise and the body of a disgusting fishman flopping out on the main floor. At this point, panic was ensuing, causing those that attended the auction to being flooding towards the exits.

They had all the intention to kill with their previous strikes. There was no luck in play that allowed this to not happen; the Man lived because he was stronger than they'd first assume. And they will adjust themselves to make sure death would befall the Man or he would be neutralized, whatever would turn out the easiest. Kuro could feel the bones that embraced his fists turn to nothing; he was was able to see that the Man was not opposed to using others as shields. If he had done something else instead of just settling for a punch he would've been able to harm the Man the way he wanted. This would be kept in mind for the remainder of this altercation.

The two would move without speaking to each other. From Blanc's position he was inches away from the entry point made by Bazil. With his right hand he'd send out a surge of more glass, but not to crush the Man. Encircling him would be done as he began to push the corpse from off of his body. The encirclement finishing upon the Man standing up and speaking. With his other he would begin to be pumping more glass into the entire area, in an attempt to blanket it with the substance. If he had done this before anything else you wouldn't be able to know his ability was the manipulation and creation of glass. All of his actions took place during the first time Bazil spoke and toward the end of the second time he spoke. Blanc was setting up for his surpoeiro and placing precautionary methods with the amount of glass(that looked like dust) into the air.

Kuro moved forward just as the Man began to fall; he didn't plan to let the distance between them increase too much. More than just his hand would be black now. This happening upon the Man landing on the ground. Tekkei would also be implemented over his entire body, right after one final push downward. He was coming in fast(SA3) and hard(PS5). The impact from this would be enough to dwarf the damage his fist did to Fae.

The Guard would grab of Alex to help lead the way to where they needed to go. It was somewhat of a awkward thing to do but he wanted to make sure the Man wouldn't back out. And to ensure he wouldn't be joining their employer on the ground. They made haste as they traveled through the hallways. However there were two people hot on their trial. Or rather the two groups would run into each other sooner than they'd expect. Little Nose was on all fours as he ran through the hallways. He already had suspected that Mink to be the cause of any problems and he would blame that Mink regardless. And upon turning one more corner he would see the Mink. Arriving shortly after the Mink spoke about a race. Things were reaching their head now. Upon seeing Jackal he'd let out a ear piercing howl forward. Defending those weaker than his strength(for one post). Shortly after his howl Arya would arrive the two have worked together for years, and planned to keep doing so. Removing from her side a revolver two shots would be fired in the direction of Jackal, aimed at each knee cap. Death was too easy and they planned to neutralize the Mink. Or at least bid time before their superior arrived. As he was the one that wanted Jackal alive as well as anyone else that were responsible for this. Baltigo was a place that dying was better than just being captured.

It's the thrill in the end. In that moment when something stolen becomes mine or is it? That's the bliss I desire.

The sprinkler system activated to disburse any potential fires throughout the building, drenching everyone within the building's contents with enough water to quell the most ferocious of fires, leaving notable dampness to the surfaces across the well furnished building. The intent of this action simply acted as a pawn being pushed to the opposite end of the chess board, the crescendo soon to be cashed in or arrived upon. The party as stated prior exited the room and attempted to traverse the hallway but their position was wedged from the countless staff and VIP's running for their lives at the situation at hand. Jackal sensed an array of emotions but none stuck out like the sore thumb that was the Bloodhound Mink's own from thirty-meters away. His killing intent was massive, and with his conception of Kenbunshoku Haki, and the already callous behaviour he'd targeted towards Jackal before, the Mink knew it wouldn't be a simple smack on the wrist with all of the chaos in motion. Once he'd arrive after the man's smug remark about a race, the man's monstrous howl hailed from the West (Door 9), literally blocking the corner that would've lead to the Staff Area's staircase. The scream plastered the hallway with bodies of auction VIP's and staff who wouldn't have been able to withstand the man's shout, crippling their eardrums to force of the howl. Even Jackal from his position almost ninety feet plus away would've felt the sound of the noise grating against his eardrums, especially so with his Mink Race in consideration.

With that realisation, Jackal didn't waste anytime clutching his ears. As the aura of the second troublesome man in the Winged one harked behind the bloodhound's arrival. As the bodies dropped from the screech, a clear line of sight could've been established between the two parties. With no idea of either man's abilities, rushing into close range combat would've been folly on the Mink's part, so taking the distance at hand, when the Winged Man reached for his revolver, the Mink's hearing was already compromised, however, with his Sixth Sense in play, one less sense to distract him from the sensitivity of auras. To say there be no delay in Jackal's actions either would've been impossible, the hounds flailing noise travelled at speeds he could've perceived but it was the nature of the attack that caught him off guard. Instead of reaching to guard his ears, moments before the Winged Man arrived, as blood trickled from the Mink's ear canal, Jackal mustered enough saliva and mucus to blow a single bubble that'd expand (SP 4) to the size of a medium size boulder. Once the Winged Man had pointed his weapon at the posse upon arrival, a popping noise could've been heard from Jackal's position disbursing the bubble.

The bubble's dexterity wouldn't be anything fast enough to match any shots fired from the man's gun, however, width and height of it was enough to cover at least fifteen feet wide, and more than enough height to enshroud a ten footer. Worrying less about speed of dispersal, Jackal focused on girth. The bubble would travel no more than one meter before colliding with the two shots fired at Jackal's knee cap, however, popping the bubble had catastrophic results. Jackal had already made up his mind about the intended spit projectile's explosive make, controlling the explosive force to push back in the direction of the bullets that were being fired, travelling thirty meters in the packed hallway, encapsulating the heat and force in a concentrated area. The medium sized bubble gathered enough girth and force to riddle everything along the fired shots trajectory with eroding force (P4). Whether or not it'd be enough to take out the Bloodhound or the Winged, wouldn't be the Mink's concern, it'd be the smoke plume created from the explosion that'd give Jackal coverage. In conjunction with the bodies that'd danced around in the force of the explosion, flinging themselves as human battering-rams at the duo. As the explosion carried to inches below the ceiling, and inches away from the wall's side on both ends, escaping this charge would've been impossible without retreat, and even then, it's speed (P4) would've taken superior, or great lengths of speed to avoid. One thing was certain, the bullets fired would've been deliquesced from the explosions energy instantly and forward charges would've been bold.

Residual flames covered the hallway, infrastructure of walls and rooms compromised but it wouldn't be enough to ruin the building's sturdiness. In one motion, he'd nudge Alex and the Guard into one corridor with a shoulder shrug, a leaping kind of motion, rolling into the opposite area using the momentum of his lunge on top the red carpeted floor, having the smoke as cover, though the moment they started to use Kenbunshoku or if they were using it, they'd be found. For now, Jackal assumed the latter, position himself in the corridor between Box X and Box W, in front of a door with the numbers '11' inscribed on it. Distorted, Jackal's hearing was fucked, but he'd made sense of keeping composure, however, for the foreseeable future, he was deaf. Using his Kenbunshoku to scope ahead behind Door 11, he'd notice the door was locked and it'd be a staircase behind it which lead down to the floor area, about thirty meters ahead down the stairs. "These guys are the real deal... Breakdown that door... It'll take you to the floor level!." Jackal shouted, unable to control his volume due to being deaf, tossing the VIP Pass to the Guard and Alex. Jackal knew the moment the duo turned the corner into the corridor which he sat ten meters into, round two of their little spat would've continued.

Luckily, Dorr 11, leaded to Door 40 which would've placed them beneath the foot of the stage, a series of emergency exits put in place for situations such as these. "Tch. Now I'm on a suicide mission days before I take Mother. Two on one... I guess this is that Devil's Luck of mine." Jackal thought to himself in real-time smirking. The moment the men turned the corner, the next phase of Jackal's attack would've began.

It was as if the entire building would shake from the impact of the CP's attack. And those around, who watched, would honestly just sit there in awe at what they had just witnessed. One thing was for certain. No one should ever cross those two in anyway if they weren't willing or able to deal with them. There already had been death. But was there more? That isn't important right now and would be found out toward the end of all other conflicts. One thing was for certain continuing any fight couldn't be done by the Man with the red Mohawk. And those three would no longer be within the same spot that they were in. The space created by Blanc was now full of water due to the sprinkler system, and also moved. Only one person alive was in the area. The Auction was over and many were still leaving or attempting to leave the building.

Currently two major conflicts were still going on. Kuro took it upon himself to go after the fruit that they came for. And there he would meet resistance from not only Arges but the feared man known as Black Henry. At this present time it was only out of these three to know who would be the one with the Mythical Fruit.

A Red Head, An Auction, and a Mythical Fruit [GV] - Page 4 B74c4b1d15b7c887a2bc8d923a796827

The second conflict was happening without many watching, or wanting to. Within hallways with most wanting to just get out of dodge. Fleeing and securing their life was all they had in mind. A lot of them weren't strong, only those fighting now were. Everyone that did hold any skill had already vacated before the conflict started, not wanting to waste any more of their time. Leaving most that they came with. And when things got worse they would be the ones to suffer.

Aya's motion was quick and to the point. Upon seeing Jackal create the bubble she expected some form of trickery. But, when a explosion triggered it took one flap of her wings to push back down the hallway. Due to being in the air she didn't have to worry about those that were also within the hallway behind her or in front. Making sure she was not within the blast or collided with by any of the human projectiles was her main concern. Like many that worked for others on Baltigo personally security was the main priority. Beli was of no use if you were to meet your end. And even if she wanted to attack her bullets wouldn't make it through explosion.

Littlenose on unlike the others was extremely loyal and didn't do what he did for beli or fame. He did it because he and Ursa were close. Even with these feelings only coming one way. His determination to take out those that crossed his boss in anyway was unparalleled. The amount of bodies that have been made due to this was insurmountable. He should've trusted his gut when he first laid eyes on the Bandit King. 'Kill him now. Don't risk it.' But, he was not allowed to just kill without good reason. If he was many more would be dead today that were able to leave the building. When the explosion occurred he'd have to backpedal but with the flying bodies it proved a wasted motion. His claws would grow a couple inches and as the bodies came with a few swiped he cleaved them into two, letting whatever came out coat his fur. A dwarf even flew back charred and with a opening of his jaws would be devoured. With the explosion over Ken haki had to be utilized by Littnose as there were too many smells in the air now. Unlike his partner he only used Haki when he needed it and not before. It however wasn't needed as the sound of the Bandit King's voice traveled just enough for it to be heard by the Mink's ears. Before the smoke would clear Aya would be moving back in the direction the Bandit King had move to. Guns drawn her masked allowed her a more advance look at the layout of the area, as well as her Ken haki. Seeing that he had retreated into one of the corridors and now was in front of a door she's use the current smoke to aid her attack's surprise. Firing five time the bullets would bounce off of each other and allow three to curve and make it around the bend, pushing through the smoke and coming right at Jackal.

By the time the bullets were dealt with or taken Littlenose would be mere feet away from the bend. Something was different about his appearance. Some strange aura rested above his fur making it spike up. Giving him a boast in his overall speed and allowing quick and almost instant acceleration. Though his power wasn't increased his attacks would be shocking. He wanted and needed to attack quickly. And upon getting around the bend he'd slam his hand down. As mentioned before the sprinkler system drenched every area that a potential fire could've arisen. Unlike the spot that had just been hit with a explosion this new one had water that reached from the entrance and to the Bandit King. That wouldn't be the only thing that needed to be worried about that would give a mighty electrical shock. The collar that the Bandit King was supposed to wear would be activated at the moment Aya had fired her weapon.

A Red Head, An Auction, and a Mythical Fruit [GV] - Page 4 Latest?cb=20151128040208

Perched atop a ceiling in the centre of the town, Jackal watched from an adjacent building as his bandits paraded around in the local watering hole after his meeting for unifying the Bandit Gangs across Sandy, proving his claim by defeating local hero, Jin. Sitting alone at first, he'd be joined by his right hand man, Sinbad. Nursing a mug of ale in his hand, the two overlooked the scene unfolding before them, history in the making.

"Watching that fight between you and Jin sent thrills through my entire body. I can't believe you defeated The Bull." Sinbad commented, chasing down the words after with a swig from his mug.

"Shishishi... It wasn't easy. A few times in between I thought I was dead for sure." Jackal stated grinning.

"Watching you fight... Your the opposite of Barron. Every move you make is calculated. Brings a question to my mind though." Sinbad alluded.

"Comparing me to your old boss? Missing the old Barron camp, Sinbad?" Jackal inquired plafully.

Breaking down in laughter, Sinbad responded almost immediately, allowing the desert breeze to dance through his gold spiky hair uncontested. "Not a chance." Sinbad stated grinning finishing his mug.

"You Minks... You produce electrical pulses right or shockwaves moreso?" Sinbad inquired, resting the cup to his company next to his waist.

"Kind of. It's called Electro. I can't really explain the mechanics behind but since a pup, I've been able to make electrical surges emit." Jackal stated.

"Here in lies my question!" Sinbad blurted out, his curiosity almost couldn't be contained.

"Proceed."
Jackal responded with a simple chuckle.

"What happens when two Minks face off using Electro?"
Sinbad inquired.

Tilting his head puzzled, Jackal turned towards the man's direction, diverting his eyes from the scenery, "What do you mean, 'What happens?', I'm lost as to what you mean?" Jackal inquired.

"Hear me out a bit. I assume that your attacks would simply clash correct, depending on how it's disbursed. However, what happens when one persons charge is superior to the other?" Sinbad inquired.

"Ha. That's easy. I run away." Jackal responded with a blank expression in a playful tone.

"Damnnit Jackal! I'm asking you this for ya' own good! Answer me honestly, what you do in a scenario like that?" Sinbad inquired with a serious expression.

Jackal didn't respond right away, instead, he'd wag his tail a bit, closing one of his eyes, and leaving the other open, he'd finally respond after about three minutes of thinking.

"Well. Honestly, they're only two options. It's either I avoid the strikes or use them to my advantage." Jackal theorised.

"Use them to your advantage... Explain." Sinbad battered.

Scratching his head, "Of course... This is only in theory. It'd have to figure out a way to absorb electrical pulses to some extent I guess. Electro's functionality and furthermore, Mink's biology aren't made to store electricity. So, ultimately, the best bet would be to use my body as a 'Channel' of sorts. Then, merge my own electricity to control the flow of the surge. I might not be able to overpower the charge in 100% of the chases... but I should have enough juice to redirect or disburse it elsewhere." Jackal continued.

"If I met someone who uses electricity, and also has a way to counter it... Rather by the same absorption... or some natural immunity, it'd be useless damage wise of course. However, that's unheard of. Most Mink's channel their electricity into weapons, it's said to be 'easier', though, I'm trash with a weapon."
Jackal said picking his ear.

"Meaning... No Mink's ever thought about absorbing or redirecting electricity prior, correct?" Sinbad inquired smiling.

"Then. Work on that Boss. I'll tell you the whole origin of this conversation. Your strong. Barron was strong too. This sea is filled with strong guys. The mistakes I watched him make... I never want you to make. Never get too comfortable in your own strength. Always look to evolve. As a Bandit... The more tools in your arsenal... The more leverage we'll have in life threatening situations. I'm sure you have the basics down but explore more... As strong as you are... They monsters out there much stronger." Sinbad stated.

"Shishishi... Your one weird guy. I'll think of a way to make it work. If I'm just thinking about it on a skin level, the answer might be my fur." Jackal retorted.

"Eh?" Sinbad inquired almost instantly enthused.

"Jackal Clan Mink's fur tends to be very thick in most cases. I could use it as an insulator. However..."
Jackal concluded, a grim look befell over his eyes.

"Electro manipulation at that level is delicate. I can control my electricity sure. However, it'd be trying to exert my will over an external force. One misstep, and it'd end up fried." Jackal concluded.

"What's the number one Bandit Rule, Boss?" Sinbad inquired.

"You're amusing me enough today. I'll humour you. What is it?" Jackal inquired.

"Nothing ventured. Nothing Gained." Sinbad concluded with a devilish smirk.

A Red Head, An Auction, and a Mythical Fruit [GV] - Page 4 Tumblr_npi608LlkB1rj5c1jo1_500

From the corridor Jackal retreated into, the man's Kenbunshoku stood firm, albeit his thought process scrambled from the shock of losing his eye-sight. As he'd try to re-adjust, within moments, he'd notice that something about his senses seemed sharper. It wasn't only just now, it was the battle experience of being in situations like this over the last year and half. Whether it be Barron, Jin, King's Personal Guard or his recent squabbles with Diana... Each situation was tailor made to strengthen the Bandit King's resolve. Once the last burst of energy from the explosion completed, Jackal noticed the immediate movement of the two aura signatures of the Auction Guards towards his posse's position, however, he'd only register their signatures once they'd come in range, at the peak of his thirty radius scope, only ten meters into the corridor, that stretched for at least about fifteen meters. After Jackal's initial warning, the guard had broken down the door, and retreated with Alex down the staircase, leaving the Mink as the sole proprietor to this bullshit horror house and shit-show. From about fifteen meters into her stride, the flying aura signature halted her advance to take firm aim, as would be expected from a shot of said calibre, which puzzled the Jackal Mink slightly. With her guns drawn, what happened next occurred at speeds that even Jackal couldn't truly process until the last moment.

The woman would've fired off five shots initially but the position of each shot, acted as a chain reaction, causing the bullets to swarm around the bend, and instantly, come flying towards Jackal's direction, three in number. The Mink already knew from the first interaction, as speedy as he was, avoiding the bullets would've been an impossible feat. However, as they curved the bend, it'd take them ten meters before reaching his position, that gave him minimal breathing room, however, luckily, though he couldn't process the shots make-up or speed, using his Kenbunshoku, he could've definitely predicted their trajectory generally, even though, they'd appear even to his mind's eye with a slight blur. As per earlier, the calculated personality of the marksmen shone through, two shots went for Jackal's knee cap once again, and the final bullet soared towards the man's right shoulder. At this point, when Jackal finally processed the situation, the bullets where a few inches away before impact. Having no time to be efficient, Jackal coated his entire legs and right shoulder in Busoshoku Haki. Bracing for impact, the slugs danced against the Mink's blackened skin, possibly fracturing his kneecaps in both of his legs, and popping his right shoulder out of it's socket slightly. The force of the shot dragged Jackal backwards about two meters, leaving him only three meters away from the opened door.

However, as the saying goes, 'No time to rest for the wicked.'.

Upon the bullet's impact, the other signature turned the bend. Jackal also watched the Bloodhound's advance, using his combat experience to help track the Mink's definite speedier movements. Unable to regain complete stance or even assess the current damage, an electrical pulse surged from the man's hand, as it made contact with the ground at the start of the corridor. A mighty electrical surge bursted towards Jackal's direction, using the liquids from the sprinkler system as it's conductor. Allowing the electricity to creep up on the Mink in literal mili-seconds. It'd be at this point that the conclusion to an old conversation between Sinbad and Jackal would've came into his memory bank. Using his superior perception, and sharpened battle senses, Jackal knew what'd happen next would happen just as quick as the Hounds attack arrived. It'd also be the only way he could've turned this two on one situation in his favour slightly.

The first charge of contact burned out the sole's of Jackal's feet, burning the fur beneath his feet however, after that initial pain struck, using his wet fur and the scenario to his advantage, a single word came into focus in Jackal's mind.

"Channel." Jackal thought.

The pain almost made Jackal fade out of consciousness but his stubbornness to win met the pain with a loud screech and his immediate response. Reducing the final damage taken on his feet, a cocoon of electricity swarmed around the Mink. At first glance, it'd seem as if his body was being viciously electrocuted by the charge, especially with his wet fur and the dampened hallway. However, compounding the power of the Bloodhound's shockwave, Jackal dug his blackened nails into the flooring of the hallway, penetrating even the damp red fur carpet that both Mink's stood upon. In an instant, at the same speed the Bloodhound's attack made contact with (P5 since attacks are one less than actual speed), Jackal redirected the electrical charge using his Electrical Nest skill, expanding the electrical field fifteen meters outwards towards' Bloodhound and Aya's eventual position. Aya would have enough range to avoid the surge if her advanced had hastened, however, the Bloodhound couldn't. Not at this range and speed (moving at the same speed as the absorbed attack P5). Taking into account the wet carpet acting as a conductor, the Bloodhound's own fur being wet, and the fact that Jackal's electrical dome now containing the Bloodhounds own's attack and his own, the attack should clock in much stronger than either man's attack (P6).

At bare minimum, Major damage was on the horizon for all caught up in this electrical melee. Those who were caught would've been paralysed in their entire body for at least a few minutes (one post). Jackal's kneecaps were possibly fractured and his right shoulder as well, movement indeed was possible but nothing on scale as his prior capabilities. Jackal counted eight shots, by this point, Aya would've ran out of ammunition in her barrel or depending on the make, have at least one more shot left. The Mink's feet were in better condition than he let on however, as the sole of his feet being covered in Busoshoku Haki negated a bit of the damage. The next series of events would've be the difference between life or death, Jackal had one last major motion in him. One thing's for sure, if the attempt was successful, the Bloodhound wouldn't escape unscathed, possessed by his own convictions or not.

Spoiler:

The pirates call fell on deaf ears, literally, the moment he yelled his words were drowned out by a howling shriek, loud enough to have blown out an eardrum if the Red Devil had been closer to the source. With no time to think, perceiving the events with his eyes, the young man’s body moved on instinct and being one of the few times it chose flight over fight. Recognizing the incoming aerial strike was not something he could take head on.

Bazil barrel rolled out of the way at the last moment, essentially sheathing his hulking wings as he did so, the blades retreating back into his body as his body contorted away from the impending meteor like strike. Connecting with the ground, the impact shattered the floor and sent debris in every direction. His eyes shot over at the man who would now be adjacent from him, roughly 3 meters, the pirate quickly turned his tongue into a flame thrower nozzle and did his best dragon impression, spitting a fifteen meter long cone from his position. Quickly moving backwards to create a wider gap between himself and Kuro dragging the flame with him, approximately seven meters if successful. The fire itself would melt and contort the glass dust in the area of the cone, as such small pieces of glass would not be able to stand up to the heat, also causing those not melted to catch the burning light and flicker with the flames. Without a second to spare as he landed on his feet, Bazil would use his right arm to unleash a hell’s rain of minigun fire onto the glass user, preventing him from mounting a counter attack. Simultaneously, the pirates left arm would extend outwards in the form of a jousting lance, 5 meters in length, and would use it to pierce Kuro if he were to attempt to close the distance, worst case the weapon would keep the man at bay for now. Shit…. Bazil thought to himself as he continued to fire on the glass man’s position. “Tch… you fuckers are pretty tought, huh?” He barked with a smile, doing his best to keep his overflowing pride intact. Water had pooled at his feet and where Kuro now stood, the building having ben drenched in the sprinkler systems showers, though the water in this area did not directly connect to the area Jackal was currently in.

By now, enough time would have gone by and Aya would have moved forward enough for the smoke to no longer be inhibiting her vision. In full view, she could see Jackal as Little Nose's Electro surged through their target's body, but rather than collapsing to the pain, the mink withstood it. The man's body tensed up, but moments later he released his own burst of electricity; one that wasn't limited to the ground, but was arcing out through the air as well. While Aya was far enough back and mid-air to react, peeling back only inches to avoid the electricity, Little Nose wasn't so lucky, but his wounds were far less dramatic than one would initially think.

All of the boxes were checked for the electrical attack. Little Nose was down on all fours, his fur and the ground were wet, and he wasn't fast enough to react, but he was a lot more sturdy than he looked. The attack cascaded over him, but the majority of the electricity was focused into his arms and legs that were firmly placed against the wet ground. He'd be sore and covered in light burns, his limbs being singed to a greater degree, but he wasn't totally out of the fight. For now (one post), he'd be simply paralyzed. It was during this time when Aya had to step up and defend her ally until he could be of use once again. An injured ally was still a two-on-one advantage against an opponent who was also greatly injured.

Rather than rushing headlong into the Bandit King or firing off the last of the ammunition left in the clip, the Birkan took a moment to reload in plain view. This brief moment caused a lull in the fight as Aya prepped to continue her attack and Jackal, injured, continued to steel his nerves for the rest of the fight to come. However, it was in this brief moment that another contestant arrived to play in their game of Life and Death - Ursa, the Kingpin of the Fourth District and Mercenary King.

The two left conscious in the hallway were unaware of Ursa's presence until his hand was gently placed atop Aya's head. He rounded the corner into Jackal's view, the mink's massive, panda figure taking up the entirety of the hallways as he slowly moved in his direction. His presence, by many, was only viewed as death. He fought wars for coin alone; killing meant nothing to him, but the words that he spoke seemed drastically different from what one would normally expect from a mercenary.

"How entertaining..." he droned. His voice was deep, the tone itself giving off a viscous feeling to it. He got to Little Nose's paralyzed body and knelt down, turning into a black and white ball of fur that vastly compromised the rumors that were spread about him. He gingerly poked Little Nose, slowly giggling at the lack of response. "Clever dog." This time, his eyes raised to look directly at Jackal.

Bazil, narrowly and with unparalleled luck, managed to dodge Kuro's attack, which sprung up dust around his area of collision. Bazil further inhibited his view of the CP9 agent by cascading a conal area in front of himself with the breath of a flamethrower, melting glass within range and putting a fiery barrier between himself and his attacker, taking the moment of peace to turn his attention towards Blanc who was still waiting off to the side.

The view of Blanc seemed, with the exception of the glass dust, to be clear, but quickly filled with a hail of bullets from Bazil's forearm. At this point, the air in front of Blanc was bisected as an otherwise invisible glass shield was built in front of him, the corner of which directly at his front. As the mini-gun bullets propelled themselves in to the glass, they could fracture and chip it, but couldn't break through before being propelled off to the side as the V-shaped shield added an additional defense against their trajectory. Blanc's face, through all of this, remained unfazed by the rambunctious pirate, as his target had already fallen into his trap.

Bazil's flames had melted some of the glass at their front, but the heat hadn't extended around him enough to melt the glass dust that had encircled him. Moving backwards, Bazil had willingly flung himself into it, being coated in the glass that had begun to melt and move about the second he had sprung his attack on the glass's creator. It began to link together, forming a shell on Bazil's body and restricting his movement. Kuro acted on this the moment the restriction began, shooting forth from the flames with Soru, his hand extended straight with a whole-handed Shigan at the ready.

Visibly, Kuro's entire body had turned black, but the added Busoshoku only furthered the idea that the flames wouldn't have harmed him. The visage of the entire black man bursting from flames could put fear into any man's heart, especially as that same man aimed a Shigan directly at their heart. The restricted Bazil was faced with a maximum speed (4) Shigan aimed to pierce his heart and end the fight on the spot.
