Custom Crafting Occupation: Material Scientist
Description: Rather than learning in the pursuit of gadgets, robotics, and technology, the material scientists devotes his efforts into the study of materials, elements, and their interactions in order to create new substances for use. The earliest form of material scientist was that of blacksmiths, using the science of metallurgy to invent steel alloy from iron and carbon. This creation of alloy is but one result of the material scientist's pursuits, though they may not find themselves shaping it. Material scientists also study the interactions between compounds, and the products formed from their reactions. Primarily their crafts will involve clothing items and metal, but their knowledge can be applied elsewhere such as assisting in the creation of materials for many different occupations. When an occupation requires materials, a material scientist can cook up the best of the best.
