Together with the sisters, Mashyuu left the temple far behind him. The two ladies helped the man limp out of the rear entrance just as they made it out of the temples boarder the ground rumbled and the trio flew up into the air. The ground collapsed and the temple sank into the earth. Not once did the trio turn to look, knowing in their hearts that none of the men who battled the monster would make it out of the temple alive. Silently the group fluttered through the jungle until they were sure they weren't being followed.
A moment later the group landed on the mucky dirt of the jungle and Mashyuu staggered forward a few steps like a drunk until he fell to the floor. His shoulder was bleeding terribly even though the clotted and dried chunks of blood. Freya stalked up to Mashyuu, her saddened eyes turning into a glare at the downed man for a long moment, slowly reaching for an arrow on her back while her lip quivered with anger toward the man who had killed her brother. "Odin said it himself. Ragnar died the way all the men in our clan want to. Ragnar died the same way. In an honorable fight. If either of them wanted Mashyuu dead for Ragnar's death, Mashyuu wouldn't have gotten out of that temple. Come on. Put that down." Uryki took the arrow from her sisters hand and dropped to Mashyuu's side. Digging into her medical bag she simply put stitches in the shoulder wound to keep him from bleeding out any more.
Once Mashyuu was patched up the two sisters sighed and looked back the way they came. "We can't go home. They will call us traitors. We have nowhere to go... But he said that we could go with him. Maybe he will take responsibility for us after all." Freya mused and dropped down next to Mashyuu and her sister. The pair glanced at one another then to Mashyuu. "It's not safe with me. If you move to the edge of the jungle and follow it you will eventually see a building surrounded by a stone wall. Wait for me there." Mashyuu said as he opened his eyes, hearing the lament of the sisters. "Once it's cleared out you can stay in there." Mashyuu said while sitting up. He ran a hand shakily through his black hair and felt the dried blood and sweat on his face and hand but didn't say anything about the injuries. "I know there isn't anything I can say... But I am sorry that all this happened."
The trio got up and Mashyuu offered the sisters Rangar's spear. "No, you keep it. Our people take the weapons of those they defeat in battle. He would feel dishonored if you didn't keep the weapon. Use it with pride Mashyuu. We will do as you ask and head towards the house with the walls around it. Be safe and be quick." Freya took Uryki by the hand and the two sisters flew off in one direction, Mashyuu leaving in another, desperate to put the events of the day behind him and make it back to the ship. Now he just had to find it...
