Introduction

"Quiet you", Louise would say while hammering away at a big slab of metal. The metal was supplied to her by a high ranking admiral whose name she did not know after recent events on the island she had been plucked away and given access to a creative space not to mention command over five other Ensigns to do her bidding. While she herself had forgotten her amazing skills in the art of engineering, the marines had not and as such it had become a high priority before her future placement orders came through to attempt to bring this located mastery back into fruition.  For several hours now she had been grinding metals down into very small fragments through simple hammering, hammering, and more hammering; several agitated marines were lined up doing the same thing under her orders the difference being they had no clue why this hammering of metal was important. While most would complain the marines under her wing wouldn’t as simply put they failed the recent obstacle course and thus had been deemed unworthy for grand line placement. Either work for her or swim back to the west blue one read admiral who was comparable to old hag would say to them with an evil grin on their face.

The marines had been hammering away for five straight hours going through a total of 100 sheets metal and still based on how focused Louise was it wouldn’t seem like a break was coming anytime soon. The marines were sweating, worn out and simply running with an empty gas tank when one had complained about how Louise was running them dead “Quiet you” *Bang Bang Bang* Louise would pause for a moment before turning to look at the marines “Wait, you guys are still here” Placing her hammer down and removing a protective mask from her face “I told you guys to go for a long lunch like 2 hours ago” This infuriated the marines as their faces grew red, eyes starting to pop from their faces “NO YOU FLIPPING WELL DIDDN’T!!!!" Louise would think for a moment… “No I totally did”NO YOU DIDDN’T!, PRETTY SURE IF WE HEARD SOMEONE SAY HEY GO FOR A 2 HOUR LUNCH, WE WOULD BE RUNNING OUT THE DAM DOOR” Louise would show a slight sign of embarrassment on her face before replying in a very soft manner “Well, Tell you what it doesn’t really matter, either way, bring me another 50 sheets from down stairs and youre done for the day the original complaining marine would grip his fists tightly as steam started pouring out of his mouth, ears and eyes he was so angry he couldn’t find the worlds to bombarbard Louise with and instead simply let out a large and perfect Lion roar . Louise would watch him carefully knowing that they most likely had just been worked to the bone, however, deciding to stop any more tension from raising she would decided to play dumb to his emotional distress, as with one hand laid out flat the other like a sideway closed fisted moving into the palm as if a sparked in her mind . “OOOH STEAM! I can totally use that as a propellant” the marine ROARS once more before hissing at Louise.

20 minutes later; Louise would have her 50 sheets of metal and the Marines had finally been relieved from work for the day. Louise would spend the next three to four hours hammering away at the metal before calling it herself.
Louise is breaking the metal down into small fragments that could possibly be woven into that of a glove not to mention, slightly smaller bits to act as shrapnel to be released from the fingertips of a Glove. However, for Louise prototype that she was working on, it wouldn’t fire from the fingertips but simple drop like salt from a shaker to potentially gather in one's palm.

Prototype Glove 105 : The current creation of Louise is a metal woven glove which goes by the name of Prototype Glove 105; its design is to be part of a long ongoing creation to build an exoskeleton suit or internal in the case of cyborg consumers; the glove would be woven from string metal intertwined together and rotated to allow the glove to feel as if it was created from a strong cow-hide leather while giving the glove properties that would allow them to easily Expand and retract making them quite sturdy in different situations; furthermore this unique designed allowed the implication of a dispensary system within the fingertips of Prototype Glove 105, to be reloaded via that of a similarly designed wrist band.   Within the Wristband, very small amounts of shrapnel would preside before being moved into the fingertips vaults [three fingernails worth of space]

While Louise in future plans to implement a full-blown firing mechanism within the gloves final variation to be attached to other products to form an exoskeleton, this wasn’t to be implemented in any prototype to be created in the near future.

The Next day… Stretching the metal fragments into strings.

The Day Before
Cooking the Metal

The day before - Stretching the metal fragments into strings

The next day at around six in the morning the sun would refract through Louise window and slowly start to raise upon her check before slowly increasing in size to spread across her sleeping face, and06:57:22 once fully engulfed in the sunlight her consciousness would penetrate into the morning of life. Stretching out her arms and fingers as much as could while releasing a beautiful yawn greeting the world. Opening “Awwww, morning and what a great one at that, the sun's blooming, not a cloud in sight and….. *Sniffs* “I smell breakfast” a sweet aroma had reached up from the kitchen downstairs and glided into her nostrils along with several other marines in her dormarity and as such the quiet pleasure of the morning awakening would be overturned with the sound of scuffling marines slowly getting out of bed and making their way into the breakfast lounge. Louise would quickly get dressed into her no sleeved marine uniform before opening her singular window as to allow the air to freshly flow throughout her room, she didn't exactly want her space to spell of friend meat all day nor for any amount of damp to settle in.

After grabbing her breakfast along with the downing of four glasses strawberry milkshakes she would make her way to he workstation supplied by the admiral by whose name she did know the name; space was located in an old barrack scheduled to be torn down and rebuilt within the coming months. There wasn’t anything wrong with the location at all Clean, Tidy, decent working stations and even a filled warehouse located beneath her specific room; saying this it wasn’t exactly up to code for top marine standards.  After her recent success in proving her worth and capabilities to be stationed within the grand line she was given the option of a training scheme selection and as such she picked creation. It was a rare sight to have a fresh bodied recruit let alone one who had shown promise both in her current activities but in her past life to pick such a training scheme over say Target Practice, Ship management or other highly sought-after skills that other ensigns would take up.

With this in mind and knowing the full details of Louise’s passed Rear Admiral Tiffany Spoke had decided to fully support Louise in this training scheme; Tiffany Spoke was a white, tall 6ft 3 woman with long brown hair that waved side to side as if it was always windy. Her face was covered in scars and burn marks from past experiments she personally had conducted. Highly respected and often invested her time in individuals with promise and that's exactly what Louise was offering; in her past, she had created many things for her village, unique sturdy and reliable while Louise had forgotten everything she created, and the development of such skills had left her mind entirely. Rear Admiral Tiffany had the believe if she could accomplish such things before she not only could but would complete such things again and this time she had the benefit of being molded by the marines educational support.

Before work began in her space the day before she was required to present her concept to Tiffany Spoke in order to be allocated the materials for the work and as such Louise pitched the concept of an exoskeleton suit and what she dreamed it would do in the future, however, Louise was no fool she did understand such a feet was within her current mechanical reach and that she needed to start small and pitched a simple prototype glove which very simplistic functionality to work on currently.  Tiffany liked the concept and would give significant insight to improve the design along with certain methods of creation that Louise needed to learn; specifically the stretching of metal into a string and wrapping them around each other. Louise would listen carefully and with a rigorous amount of attention not being distracted for a moment, after all, she loved learning about how things worked. Tiffany would explain that while the idea of an exoskeleton was cute and potentially a very strong invention no one was going walk around wearing a suit of armor its heavy, slow and generally the negatives outweigh the pros; this is where the stretching string came into it things. Not only could the stretching string make the martial more clothe like in nature but stronger as a whole…….

7.00am current time

Louise would arrive at her location after having enjoyed her delicious lunch; full of energy and joy she simply wanted to get straight into the thick of things, nearly all of her sheets had happened to the appropriate fragments and the required tools for stretching had already been placed into the space one hour before; however for the time being Louise  was alone those assigned to aid her in this process were not scheduled to show for another three hours and as such she would begin.  She would begin by quickly reading the instructs on how to actually stretch the metal, she knew how as she was told the day before yesterday but wanted to make sure everything was correct.

Heat a single fragment to 300c using the provided furnace to your right, wearing the protective gear: Note if you do not wear the protective gear not only will you lose your privileges but I will hurt you…
Once heated and glowing red lace the fragment within the two clamps and being turning the wheel
This will slowly stretch out the Metal, make sure you regularly hammer the sides to prevent flattening.
Throw water to cool it off before starting on the next piece
Once you have five strings worth, wrap them around each other in order to create a secure and reliable strong for the creation of the glove.
On completion of re-reading the instructions, she would instantly put on the full attire of protective gear, and placed each fragment side by side, for easy access. Using 1 handler to place the first fragment into the furnish, smarks fly back almost instantly as the sound of simmering flames would begin to echo into the room. Every 10 seconds Louise would check for the glowing red to signify the fragment had reached the correct temperature.  The first 10 fragments would end up melting or breaking due to missing the sweet spot of the 300c and as such Louise needed to pay more attention and pay closer attention to the specific shade of red to avoid falling, with every attempt she would drill the imaginary into her mind of the colour red and how the slight change in tone indicated the quality.  On her 17th attempt, she would manage to successfully pull a fragment from the furnace and would begin the stretching method.
