David walked down the street behind his current and first commanding officer, Commodore Kimberly Gravers. Most of the people on the street went off to the side to avoid David's foot falls, though Kimberly didn't move out of his way instead seemingly without care lead David to the docks where her ship was docked. David himself carried his things, everything he owned practically, which consisted of his Quiver which was filled with arrows, his armor around his body and his bow. Light Traveler was David, that much was for certain.
Why they were going to Kimberly's ship was something David had not been told yet, not to say David was complaining. He had the understanding that he would be told what was happening when it was beneficial to the orders Kimberly was given. So he just simply trudged after her, to where he would once again rest on her ship. He had been on Kimberly's ship once before, when she had recruited him on Drum island, and taken him here to Marineford. Which in and of itself was impressive to David, as the largest thing he had seen since he could remember was the mountain on which he had resided during his slavery. However that was a mute point at the moment, as it had little to nothing to do with what he was doing now. David reflected these things as he walked, looking down at Kimberly to avoid treading upon her.
Kim wasn't one to get pissed when given certain orders, especially when she was going to be a Vanguard for the fleet heading to Sandy Island. However she was particularly pissed because of the circumstances for which she WAS going to Sandy island. She was going there to put down some damned pirates who had been running around breaking shit that wasn't theirs. Hell, if she wasn't a marine and instead a Bounty Hunter she would still go there and kick all of those Pirate's asses. Maybe then she would actually get paid something...
Kimberly sighed as she took out a Cigarette from her justice coat pocket before bringing out her lighter and lighting it. Her smoking habit had become a tendency since she became a commodore. Having to deal with all that Damn paperwork was a bitch, and then she had to deal with all of her underlings, it was to damn much honestly. So she smoked to relieve some stress but still didn't help her when she dealt with Idiots, namely some of her damn co workers. It was a mixed bag of feelings when she thought about going to kick some pirate ass instead of being stuck behind a desk all day. On one hand she would happily kick Pirate Ass for some stress relief, but on the other hand she was angry for the amount of innocent lives that were no doubt lost. So instead she simply kicked it out of her mind for the moment in exchange for looking at the giant bastard behind her. Well, David wasn't a bastard but damn if he wasn't logical as all hell. He thought every damn question through like someone had asked him to blow up a boat of innocents. Well, at least WAIT.... David would be amazing at paperwork...
Kimberly stopped and looked up at David's helmeted head, before shaking her head and cursing. David was far to big to do paper work sized for a human. With that curse in mind she continued on with a slightly confused David at her feet, as the approached the last stretch of land to make it to the docks.
