Races

Humans are the most commonly seen race within the world. Outnumbering all the other races. They are seen as the "standard" and have majority if not all formal political power in the world. Most islands are inhabited by humans, even in the Grand Line, where most of the stronger races such as the fishmen and giants are found. Humans come in a variety of shapes and sizes. There are Large Humans, Average Humans, and Small Humans. Aside from height some Humans also bear generally odd appearances which truly gives you, the role player, a broad amount of space for character design or the Face Claim you use. Some Humans having animalistic appearances, though having things like claws from animals and things like that go beyond what is allowed. Having a monkey or cat like appearance is acceptable as well as many more outlandish things as seen in the series.

Fishmen are one of two humanoid species that inhabit and rule the seas. They are more fish-like than merfolk, usually looking like a combination between a man and a fish or other aquatic creature, such as an octopus, manta ray, or sawshark; however, they still have legs. Merfolk have human like upperbodies, while they have a fish's lower body akin to a mermaid. They both have gills between their shoulders and necks, sometimes covered by their clothing, as well as sometimes having webbed hands. Depending on species, they may have multiple limbs and things of that manner. They face prejudice from various land races, but it pales in comparison to the racism Three-Eyed's suffer.

Upon eating a Devil Fruit they succumb to the weaknesses it imposes on its consumers but underwater breathing is not lost. Latent abilities gained from being apart of this race should be listed within the character app. That'd include things like a Lionfish's toxins or an electric eels electricity. The Fishfolk and Merfolk population has rapidly increased over the years and are close to being at the numbers of the Human Race. This has caused a rising tension between these two races. Along with the tension with the Human race Minks and Fishfolk/Merfolk do not tend to be get along. As of now they are the only race with access to Fishman karate and Jujutsu.

Sky people are a race of people with wings that inhabit Skypiea and are apart of one of it's three tribes. Birkans, Skypiens, and Shandians.  Birkans' wings face downward while Skypiens' and Shandia's wings face upward. The wings of Shandia tend to have more and longer feathers than the Skypians'. Unlike in canon, their wings can be used for flight. Flight is at a speed 1 level below their own Speed & Agility.

Minks are humanoids with animal features. Each takes after a different animal, similar to Fishmen. So far, the animalistic traits of the minks have all been mammalian. Females tend to look more like humans, while males tend to look more bestial. In some ways, they resemble Zoan Devil Fruit users' hybrid forms. Limited to land mammals. They are a race with access to a unique ability known as Electro. They face prejudice from various land and sea races, but it pales in comparison to the racism Three-Eyed's suffer.

As their name suggest, giants are giant. Typical just greatly enlarged versions of humans, some have been noted to have exaggerated proportions like larger noses and things of that sort. When compared to Large Humans, they ironically just see the species as "Over-sized ants". Their life span is said to be three times that of human's and it goes without saying their strength is vastly greater as well. There are some with the height being a whopping 75ft. Though, Giants obtaining that height is rare. Due to their massive size and incredible strength/endurance, Giants can travel from island to island without the need of a vessel, however, regular travel rules apply.

In comparison to full-blooded giants, Wotans are not as big, but they are still considered big by human standards. Their size is roughly a little bigger than the Kairiki Destroyers, who are considered to be "oversized ants" to full-blooded giants. The Wotan's fishman genes are also passed on to them. These genes grant them incredible strength and the ability to perform amazing feats underwater. They seem to have far fewer visible fish features than a full-blooded fishman, such as gills and webbed hands.

A Cyborg is a human or other life form that has been modified with machinery and metal for better functioning. These mechanical enhancements can include cybernetic replacements for missing organs or body parts, weapons installed somewhere in the body, etc, etc. Should a NPC or PC wish to become a Cyborg ICly they must have a scientist skilled in that aspect of their field conduct the operation. To gauge how mechanized someone is we follow this guide.

Cybernetic Add-Ons: 10%
Even just mechanizing a finger would count as the full 10%. This is important, because after being considered more than 10% mechanized you can no longer consume a Devil Fruit as you would be considered a Cyborg. If you already have eaten a Devil Fruit you can cannot mechanize more than 10% of your body as well. Upon reaching 100% or higher, you are considered a Pacifista.

The Kuja are a tribe of all female fighters found on the island of Amazon Lily. As time has gone on, they are more commonly seen around the globe. They are a warrior race and boast stronger bodies than most. They seem to be naturally taller than most women as well.
Max Height: 18ft

As their name suggests, all members of the Longarm Tribe seen so far have longer arms than normal. This stems from them having two elbow joints in each arm. Other than that, they have the same appearance as normal humans.

As their name suggests, they are a race of very long-legged individuals and because of this they are very tall and outsize the average human greatly (although they are nowhere near as tall as giants).

Dwarves are an extremely small sentient race. In comparison to an average sized human, their difference in height is approximately the same as that between a normal-sized human and an average-sized giant. They are mostly human in shape, apart from having a thick fluffy tail and chibi-like proportions.

As their name suggests, members of the Three-Eye Tribe have three eyes, with two of them normally placed and the third one on their forehead. They are now viewed as a plague on the World though they existed even before the great calamities were unleashed (see Plot). That said, majority of them hide their discerning feature that is their third eye. It's not rare to hear about or even see a Three-Eyed person get publicly executed by civilians and Marines do nothing about it. They can read Poneglyphs and naturally translate them to English even if they haven't been taught how to speak the Ancient Language.
