ooc: I tried to wait to see if Alice would join us, but she still hasn't posted. Sooo, we will just act like she isn't in the thread. Okay, so if you guys want. Kaito you can control Regal and the casino owner he is with. And Ai you can control the Co-owner while I control the Prince and Birdal.

The Prince would arrive to his room an behind him were many servants. Carrying trays of food and pitchers of different drinks that range from water to whine. If he was to have a meeting it will have a feast like setting. He was under the impression that this meeting was to discuss a merger or disbandment of the casinos. Because from what Birdal had told him one of them had to go or they had to be on the same page. Birdal said that they were too similar and things had to change. So, that they both could prosper more. The Prince felt that they could turn one of them into a hotel and built a large walk-way that connected the two. Maybe underground or above the other buildings, since the two casinos were the largest within the town. He would settle for a shuttle service that could transport people from each location also. He liked conflict but not when it involved his income.

The entire room all together was more than 556sq ft. It was a decent living area that the Prince could come and relax. A multiple of rooms with different things. But, only one of them mattered today. And that was the smallest of the dinning rooms, one that is usually used for meetings such as these. No ill-will has ever befallen anyone not deserving of it here, so it was a safe place. Guards littered almost each room, at least two in each. This only being because something of great value had to be placed in each room to make it pop.

The room:

Upon entering there would be a large spacious room. Here four rooms could be accessed. The Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, and dinning room-A. Each of those rooms could lead to others, some even more than two. In total five guards stood within this room who would be there just to direct everyone to the appropriate rooms. They didn't say anything to the Prince but those that followed behind him would be pointed in the direction of the kitchen. Why they didn't know about the kitchen was because everyone, other than guards and special guest, come here once. Birdal being the one to talk the Prince into making that so. As not everyone can or should be trusted. They were all searched though as nothing that seemed weird or out of place should be used. Even Bal had his strawberries taken from him. But, they were put in the kitchen and would be used. As one of the guards tasted one and didn't see anything wrong with them.

A few of the strawberries would be put in a fruit bowl, while the rest was made into a pie. Those within the kitchen had a few dishes already cooked but not anything that would full you up. So, they began to work fast on cooking the meals for the meeting.

Dinning Room - A:

The Prince, with two of his guards from before, would enter the room. The rest of his guards would stand guard outside of the room. Those that came would be frisked again by them. As they were more skilled and would be more thorough with their search than the other guards. The Prince looked at Birdal and Bal who were already within the room. Bal had moved a chair to the end of the table and the Prince did the same, as he liked that.

"So, Birdal, who is this. Mysterious Masked Man." The Prince would ask as he rested both hand on the table. He didn't break his gaze from the foreign man within the room. He was strange yes but there was something else about him that made him a bit agitated. A small marking on his mask. Something that someone had to write on his mask.

"This is the one that is to handle our problem. He is Bal of the Red Lotus." Birdal would say with a toothy smile.  As if he was confidently looked at Bal and then back at the Prince.

"I've been hearing about the Red Lotus for years. But, this is the first time I've seen one in the flesh. I don't know how I feel about this....or him."
The Prince would say.

"I assure you, Bal would slowly stand his feet before continuing. I am someone the Royal Family can trust." He would bow as he spoke the second portion and rise soon after. And as he sat back down he saw the Prince had a distasteful look on his face. As if he didn't care or believe what it was Bal had just said. Under his Mask Bal would also make a face, as he didn't know what else to do. He thought that would make him likeable at least, but that didn't seem the case. So, he'd just not saying anything else until it was needed.

"If we reach a peaceful arrangement here today you will gain my trust. And we need to make this quick. I know my wife has arrived so I need to prepare for the festival."
The prince would say. Silence after that would fill the room and nothing would be said till the others would arrive. Before anyone else would arrive a pitcher of wine and water would be brought into the room. Also, the bowl of fruit would be as well. The Prince and Bal wouldn't take any but Birdal would take a bit of a apple and eat a whole strawberry. It was time to wait for the others to come before anything could be done. Merger or the end of one of the casinos was going to be the main topic here today.

Breaking away from the black suited agent, Jackal headed east towards the bottom of the staircase which was about twenty-feet upward to the next level. He'd take a readily stride towards the staircase, once arriving, he'd climb step by step with not much haste until he made it to the top of the staircase. He'd take time to observe his surroundings, see if anything or anyone he should be taken notice of. Even in his motioning towards the staircase he'd maintain his distance from the Black Jack and Poker tables, making to the staircase from the angle closest to the rail. At the top of the staircase, he'd see an usher of guards heading towards the East Area where the sign displaying the words, 'Private Lounge' would be displayed. Motioning towards the area, taking his first steps, he'd be joined by the black suited agent and another fellow that had been trailing aloof from the agent's own stride. The agent would rush ahead, meeting the Co-Owner by the barricade, separating screened candidates from regular patrons from entering onto the elevator's towards an all exclusive area. Jackal and all those approaching the area were ceased by the Co-Owner and subjected to his slight ramble. "Alright. Most of you have only been working here for a few days, a month maximum. You two, Royal Crest and Mohawk head... You'll be my guards for this evening. The rest of you... stay close just in case things goes south. There's one way up and one way down." the Co-Owner explained. "My name is simply Mr.Calvin. Stick close to me and keep your mouths shut-" Calvin stated, only to be interrupted by Jackal who stood to the front of the pack that huddled around him.

"I don't mind being your security or whatever... but I ain't sign up to be no Lesser Mink's Bitch." Jackal stated rudely. "Wh-Wha-" Calvin stuttered, trying to find the words to hackle at the Mink. "From looks of it. You're the one most nervous about whatever's going on up there." Jackal said, breaking away from the crowd, hopping over the red line and scanning his card against the elevator to summon the elevator. "Don't stay biting on yer' words... Let's get going." Jackal stated, grinning under his mask. At this stage, most of the guards had never seen anyone talk to their boss like that but due to the guise of the men being private security, only the two guards sent to assemble the two makeshift guards would know they were just randoms from the crowd. Saving face, Calvin acted as if this was all apart of the rouse or relationship he'd have with the utter stranger. The elevator would arrive, the fuming Calvin would storm towards the lift, along with the other guards, about eight in number up to the private area, two remanding behind for the last two men missing from the shindig, Mato and Regal. Which was odd, as Regal was supposed to be escorted to this area long before Jackal, and even before the need for two new guards.

The elevator ride was a long way up, Jackal would lean to the back of the small cubicle about twenty by eight foot lift, counting the number of bodies within the tray. Whether those in attendance would follow suit and hop aboard, or lag behind and wait for the next ride, was completely up to them. As the doors opened, the light from the room shone into the tray with an angelic hue. A special set of domesticated lights designed to give the room an ethereal feel. Trying regain command, Calvin, the Co-Owner would exit first, then Jackal would wait until the tray was empty, and then exit. Entering in the spacious 55+ Square Foot room, exiting from the South Area of the Room, lied four doors scattered at various cardinal points. To the North, was the bathroom, which directly conjoined to the Dining-Room and Kitchen to it's West and to the East was a sleeping Quarters that housed several smaller rooms, three in total. Subsequently to arrival, a guard who was the Chief over section, would order the guards to the Kitchen area to the North, while the Co-Owner was prompted to head West. Following behind Calvin, the Chief of Staff would halt Jackal's and the other guards progression by extending hand as a barricade. "Only Officials allowed. Guards wait in the Kitchen." the Chief Of Staff stated. Slipping under the man's arm with slight duck and step forward, Jackal peered through his bandages at the eight foot tall male. "Wherever he goes, I go. I don't trust anyone but my contractor." Jackal stated, breaking down with amusement on the inside, as he assumed his role, if only they could've seen the look on his face.

Laughing to himself, "He's right. They aren't staying for 'dinner' anyway." Calvin stated, winking at the guard. Jackal wasn't sure what about the man's manner of saying it that gave him the creeps but it sent a slight shiver down his spine, not out of fear but anxiety of what was to come next. Nonetheless, he'd follow suit, trailing to the right of Calvin, and entering to the room where three men were already seated. Calvin, knew the Prince for sure and Birdal but the other contact wasn't a face or more so a mask he'd remembered prior. Attempting to sit in the middle, three seats down from the Prince, and five seats up from Birdal, Calvin folded his legs, as Jackal hovered a safe two inches behind the man's seating, keeping his head on a swivel to inspect both ends of the room. He'd wait to see who'd enter next, not wasting much time with idle chit-chat, he'd been inspected before his entrance into the room, squeaky-clean. Finally taking his seat, after traversing the room for pleasantries, Calvin sat down.

Bazil made his way up the stairs, coming to the large fellowship gathered at the top. Nameless grunts mostly, the recruiting agent who brought him up, and a small man wrapped in large cloaks held together with a valuable looking trinket. The group was headed by a weaselly looking man who referred to himself as Mr. Calvin, he was giving some shitty speech, the pirate wasn't actually listening. Bazil's attention still focused on getting his hands on the little prince. The pirate did however notice the small man up front put the little shit Calvin in his place. That alone put a smile on the demons face, one by one the group followed the cloak into the elevator, being the last one to file in the doors closed behind him. The ride was long and cramped, the cubicle almost at max capacity with the collection of guards the smell of to much cologne heavy in the air. Looking around, he noticed the self proclaimed leader of this rag tag group sizing up the others in his vicinity.

*ding* The doors slide open, the group flowed out, only to be greeted by another set of guards. As they came out they were individually taken aside and patted down. Lagging behind once again, Bazil strolled out into the hand of guard, "Hold it" He motioned towards two others who then began patting down the pirate from the legs up.

"Watch the trouser snake there boss." Bazil said in a snarky tone, "But you wont find any weapons, I'm a non violence type of guy, ya know?" He finished innocently, holding up his arms so they can finish their pat down. Looking ahead, the pirate noticed the cloaked man making noise once again, thinking to himself how young this grandpa sounded. The sleazy co owner crept up from behind and quelled whatever situation had errupted, he then turned and pointed at Bazil, saying a few more words to the doorman and continued on ahead. Walking up the redhead glanced up at the imposing door guard and smiled devilishly, "Im with them, bub."

The room housed the object of his obsession, the tiny little prince sat at the head of the table only a few meters away. The gold on his body reflecting even more than the pirates own, such large prey within his grasp. Bazil's heart began to race, his hands were twitching underneath his coat. He wanted nothing more than to go wild right here and now.. But he didn't. He simply smiled and took his place next to the other guard. Whispering, "This is gonna be fun."

Finally, everyone would make it into the room. The Prince looked at each and everyone of them, not like the attire of over half of them. Each group had their guards standing behind them, and the Prince did not like that. It made it seem like all of them were equal. Only he needed his guards to stand and constantly be ready to act. "Before we exchange pleasantries and get on to business, I will need everyone to take a seat. Well, aside from my guards. Do not worry I will ensure everyone is protect if anything will happen. But, I doubt that will be the case. Right gentleman?"   This was not a request rather an order given to them by the Prince. He wouldn't attack them at all if they didn't agree. But, they will be not only escorted out of the room but the entire building.

Regal would motion for the guards he brought, the number matching the number Marvin had, to sit down. The sat on the opposite side of the table than Marvin. Mato sat right across from Marvin and you could say he was staring down the Man. That though wasn't the case. Those with a keen eye could tell something was wrong with Mato, something strange. As he didn't look at Marvin but passed him. Even when he reached out to grab a strawberry and began to eat it he kept his blank glassy gaze. Soon his gaze would turn in the direction of Bal.

Bal could feel something was wrong with the Man, his third eye locked into his gaze. Though the head of Bal seemed to be kept forward and down somewhat so that he wasn't looking the Prince in the eyes. Once everyone would sit down or be escorted out Bal would begin to speak. "My highness. He'd raise his head slightly so that he finally would be looking into the eyes of the Prince. How would you like this meeting to be conducted."

"It shall be done over dinner, and not before. I can sense the tension here today, and I don't like it. So, in the mean time we will set some ground rules. When I am speaking, none of you speak. When I want to say something I will tap my wine glass lightly with a piece of silverware. I wish for you all to do the same. And I do not mean repeatably once is enough. Also, please do not openly threaten another. As the laws of my country still apply within this room. The Masked Man also is someone that you do not speak over, as he is a Representative of a friendly organization that is mediating this meeting."

"Just say...red lotus..." Regal would mutter as he examined a piece of fruit. Something was off about the piece that he had within his hand. But, he wouldn't say anything. He'd put the piece he had within his hand back into the bowl once the Prince would speak. He didn't seem nervous once he heard the voice of the Prince again, and might've even spoken again.

"What was that?" The Prince would turn his attention to Regal who seemed to mutter something. He was about to raise his right hand but someone would speak before he would.

"I am sorry, that was me. I was clearing my throat. Please continue. " Bal would say in place of Regal. Gaining the attention of the Prince. Why he did that was because he didn't want this to start off bad. It was already a bit tense in here and something small like that could cause problems. After Bal said that he could see that Regal gave a quick brief smirk in his direction. Bal could tell that Man was not only trouble but dangerous.

"Make sure to not do anything that is too noisy while I speak. The Prince would close his eyes as he began to speak again. So, as I was saying. Failing to abide by the rules I have set up will have consequences, so be aware. So? Are there any questions?" The Prince truly wasn't a friend to anyone within this room.

Each seat had silverware set in front of it, and two different glasses. Mato would pick up his fork and tap his glass once before speaking. Despite his appearance his voice was extremely deep and somewhat menacing. The rashness was even more so than Bal. As if from birth this Man scorched his throat with smoke.  "When will this feast be available? Also, I am not comfortable with a child with that kind of hairstyle sitting at the table with me. Mato would point his finger at Bazil before lowering it. He looks like a delinquent....And he even has fake jewelry. Mr. Marvin...that can't be an advisor of yours. So him leaving shouldn't be a problem. Mato would look at both the Masked Men before turning to the Prince. And do those two plan to eat with those things on their face? How can we have a meeting over dinner if only a few of us will eat. I trust you Prince, but not Birdal or Mr. Marvin. How can I be sure the food of mine and my companions is not poisoned? Or even yours? I though do not say poisoned as in someone wanting to take my life or even yours. it had already started it seemed. The attempt to turn the Prince against not only Mr. Marvin but Birdal as well. Mato doubted that was the case but he wanted to paint a poor picture of Birdal and Mr. Marvin.

A clanking noise would be heard as someone else wanted the floor to speak. "I understand you are cautious. You have every right to be. But, we are within the room with none other than the Prince of Alabasta. Our coming here has already been recorded. Do you think if one of us did plot on his life and got away with it. We'd get far? No, need to answer that question; as we all known the answer to it. This kingdom is vast and powerful and none of us are foolish enough to make ourselves an enemy of it. So, I ask you to not suggestions any of us have any such intentions about anyone here. Unless you are confessing to having such intentions.

Also, please show respect to each person within this room. Insults aren't needed. We are here to have a peaceful meeting, so I ask we all relax. And to lighten up we all drink till our food is brought. Prince can you call someone in to fill our glasses?"

"I already sent my guard to send for one, as I knew where you were going with this." Shortly after the Prince would say that the Guard he sent would return with a waitress. So he had large bottle of spirit. It wasn't whine but some of the best alcohol a man such as the Prince could get his hands on. He also had sensed the tension within this room. He thought after he spoke about the rules it'd dwindled, but it didn't. So, the drink of kings should be enough to ease these peasants. Was the though the Prince would have. Everyone would have one of their glasses filled.

Beli Began to Rain - Page 2 Tumblr_ojxco8g1Bx1vj3zbeo1_500

The 'Blood of Kings' was printed on the side of the bottle. The main reason it was called this was because of the color of the liquid that came out, which was blood red. Drinking one glass of this was like drinking a barrel of rum, well without the dying part from drinking such a large quantity. It was a strange alcohol as it mirrored whine in many ways. Soon after all glasses were filled the food that was being cooked at a extremely rapid pace was completed. But, they all stood outside the room instead of coming in. The Prince would raise his glass, and would wait till everyone else did. "I should've said this before, but I'll say it now. Let us drink and fill our bellies till he well as if we are to burst. And not let anything said here spoil the mood we soon will create." And with that The Prince would sip from his glass. He wouldn't drink it all in one go, nor would Bal would slightly lifted his mask. The Prince would tap his glass three time and then they would enter. Not only those with their food, but also the sounds of music. The music played as those with the trays began to go around the table. This wasn't like any other dinner where they put it all on the table.

Beli Began to Rain - Page 2 OrganicEasygoingDromaeosaur-size_restricted

Bal would notice how the Prince and Birdal would grab something as it passed by them. And it wasn't slow, as it followed the tempo of the music. The only way Bal would be able to grab something was by waiting for it to come back around. As he did this he failed to truly notice who these people were. They were just Children with a marking on the side of their neck. Three races Fishman, Mink, and Human. After Bal got as much as he wanted was when he finally began to pay attention to them. They were slaves to put it simply. Slave children paraded around them serving them food. Anger swelled within Bal but he caught himself, as he couldn't save them. Though, he wanted to he couldn't. Though they were dressed in a decent attire, which was their uniform, he could see on a few of them bruises. They didn't cook this food but this must have been one of their duties. Act as waiters and waitress. Something children their age shouldn't have to do, as none of them looked over eight. But, maybe this is why they had them. Most of them were short and it wasn't a challenge to reach over and grab something of the platters they carried. Soon when people filled their plates the children would stop going in the circle and head out of the room.

"Please, take one."
One would say as he stopped at Bal. He was smaller than most, and the last in the line. No one had taken anything from his platter at all. Hannibal could see that he wasn't asking because he wanted Bal to take something but as if he needed Bal to take one. So, Bal would reach and grab the entire platter.

"This is my favorite."
He'd say as he pushed the plate he already made aside so he had room for the platter he just grabbed. Bal didn't like what was on the platter at all. He honestly didn't want to each any of this food. But, he knew what happened when you showed you didn't like the food at places like this. He got what was going on quick, but didn't expect anything less. The Prince was in deep with the Red Lotus and didn't even know it. A fool that didn't even know he was being played. But, seeing how the Prince ran things, or let them be run, Bal didn't care for him.

The Children would return to the Kitchen where those that cooked continued to slave on. As they weren't just cooking for the group within that room. More people would be arriving and soon this place would be filled to the brim with more people. This news had just came and they hated it. The Children would have their platters checked as they moved back into the Kitchen. Someone checking a piece of paper each time they passed. The one that didn't return with a platter would be allowed to rest. Being told to sit to the side for five minutes before he had to help the others.

He watched them all begin to move around the adults. Cleaning up things that fell on the floor or assisting in cooking by bringing over things they could carry. The Guards within the room would kick one child that fell to the ground, exhausted. The one that had five minutes would get up and go help, forfeiting his break. Yeah, they all had just started in the kitchen not that long ago but they were brought here from their other jobs within the facility. They had a break when brought into this room but they had to keep a certain pace or they'd be hit. Illegal slavery is what you could call it, but that wouldn't be right. The Prince 'hired' all of these people. And were raising the children because they either didn't have parents or their parents weren't in the same area as they were.

This place, Rainy Dinner, was not what everyone thought it was. Same with a lot of the places within this city. Many of the employees weren't here because they wanted to be. The six-point start was on everyone's neck that worked here. In some way they have ended up losing everything and being forced to work here, along with their children. Mr. Marvin was the one that manages who is taken. But, Birdal and the Prince devised the idea. It was a way to make profits increase if you didn't have to pay the employees. Regal and Mato knew of this and was one reason they separated themselves. And one reason they are back here today to speak. As if they take control of both casinos the other business that Mr. Marvin manages will also fall in line. And in short the city could become Regal's and Mato's. And if the Prince wanted to keep his appearance up he couldn't confront them. As even though slavery isn't illegal within this Kingdom it is highly frowned upon.

There was on person though not currently here yet that wanted to changed everything. She though was making sure that a lot of things were set in place for a festival that would be taking place within this city soon. Not only that she would soon be someone that changes the entirety of this Kingdom, with the help of Bal.

"So, the food is here. And I have to say, I love it. Won't you all agree?" The Prince as he would say out loud. He had all the food groups present on his plate as he ate like you would think Royalty would.

"It actually is." Regal would say between bites. Mato would nob his head as he ate in the same way the Prince did. He hadn't really said anything or even looked at anyone since Bal spoke to him the way he did. Birdal also didn't say anything at all but kept to himself and ate. He'd speak soon but only when it was time to talk business. Well, to act as if they were going to speak. Honestly, everyone already had the outcome they wanted in their minds. This dinner was nothing more than the calm before the storm. Act like you are speaking with the attempt to reach a compromise when that isn't your goal. Bal couldn't stand this at all. He though knew what he had to lose and would do what he had to do. But, he was constantly thinking about other things that he could do to make sure he could change all of this without causing to much of a backlash to himself. The amount of time that would've passed would've been close to forty-five minutes.

He'd adjust his mask so that it was back on his face properly. "Okay, from what I know. The problem that we all have is that both of these two casinos can't be allowed to be separate. Something must be done. Either a merger or one must go. Anyone want to speak first?" Bal would ask. His question was directed at Mr. Marvin and Mato. Mato seemed to not want to speak first so he just looked in the direction of Mr. Marvin.

Still standing a few meters behind his temporary employer, Bazil watched as the high class scum argued about their petty squabbles. The prince immediately trying to establish that he had the biggest dick in the room by setting the tone with hi royal presence and guidelines. He could only smile at the thought of proving him wrong, aside from the prince the only one that had piqued his interest was his fellow guard, the little man in robes. Curious to see if he could back up the attitude that overshadowed his small stature. As for the other members of the room, he may as well have been blind, the pirates tunnel vision in full effect. Their conversation flowing in one ear and out the other, unaware of the other owner insulting not only his hairstyle, but called the gold he was adorned in fake. Which, if he had seen the corpses he took the various pieces from, the man would have thought otherwise if he lived long enough to form a rational thought.

Then after the crimson liquid filled everyone's glass, the room was flooded with children of all races, minks, humans, and fishmen all carrying platters of food. Everything you could imagine sat on the sea of multi cultural children, rushing past the guests at a quickened pace, the fear in their clearly visible. Afraid one mistake could cost them a limb, or even worse their life. This was the harsh reality of the world, those in power used the weak as tools, these children were nothing more than mobile food trays. Programmed to obey your every command. These were the lucky ones, given the privilege of serving the prince his food. While their family friends are forced into manual labor, fodder for war, or worse as the cruelty of nobles knew no bounds. Just like their seemingly limitless wealth.

As the children fluttered by, the various guests filled their plates and began enjoying the well prepared meal, while Bazil still stood behind his employer with his devilish grin stretched from ear to ear. He noticed a tray go by with a large chicken on it, the bird fried over an open fire, the smell wafted from it straight into the pirates nostrils. Reaching out he ripped off a leg and took a large bite out of it. His razor sharp teeth tearing through the fried hens flesh like crispy paper, swallowing the tender meat down his gullet. After another bite, he pushed his way through the crowd of child slaves and grabbed the bottle of Kings Blood, guzzling down what was left in the bottle as he tore the rest of the meat off the bone. Tossing the bone onto the table, Bazil wiped the food and drink from his mouth and let out a large belch. Visibly offending the more boogie members of the room with antics.

The demon like pirate slowly starting chuckling, soon erupting into his signature malicious laugh at this point commanding the rooms full attention. "The names Bazil Motherfuckin Styx." He roared out in laughter, his right leg now a naval cannon barrel. "Better hold the fuck on" The cannon shot rung out, ripping threw the floor as if it was nothing. Destroying the structural integrity of the entire room, the floor caving in quickly. Collapsing towards the lower levels of the casino, bringing all those in the room down with it. The dust from the descending rubble filled the air, limiting visibility to almost zero. When smoke cleared and sight line returned, Bazil stood above the little prince, the pirate holding his bloodied arm, streams of crimson dripping from his head all the way down to the ground. Though aside from these wounds he remained relatively unscathed, though he was now missing his coat. Smiling from ear to ear in a devilish fashion, the pirates blood lust hung heavy on the air. "Hey there." He mused, "My little prince."

Once all of the players had assembled, Jackal's eyes peered as Mato and Regal, entered into the room. The Prince began what was interpreted as an authoritative rant by the Mink, outlining the rules and conditions for the most trivial of actions, his speech. Apparently none of them were to speak when he would, or interrupt in anyway, which he found immensely funny when Regal interjected with his mentioning of the 'Red Lotus'. Not fully understanding the reference, when the Masked Man tried to cover Regal's insubordinate nature, Helios could only grin to himself beneath the scarves. Mato, who'd been introduced to the table as the covert Casino's other owner, had  began an examination of the shady elements of the persons and plotting of the scenario. He'd mention the mask man's face wear and the scarves Jackal had fashioned around his head. "No need to worry about me, sir." Jackal chimed in, adding a slight tone of sarcasm to 'sir' in his sentence. "When I'm on a mission, I don't eat during the job. It's a bad habit that's hard to quit." Jackal concluded, glaring over momentarily at Regal. Remaining at his position next to the Red Haired Mohawk Man that had just murmured moments prior that this meeting 'Should Be Good', Jackal turned to see what kind of expression would be on the man's face after Mato's jab but what the Mink saw was a spitting image of his liberator Gin, that malevolent grin that people of their sprite maintain moments before losing their minds. However, Jackal wouldn't read too much into the man's expressions or actions, he'd continue to listen to Calvin's comments on the whole meeting.

What occurred next sent a shiver down Jackal's spine, as the slave children ushered into the room, each carrying platter upon platter of food fit for the finest of Kings. The feel of Jackal's razor sharp nails jabbed into his right leg, momentarily killing his urge of murdering all of the Royalty involved with collecting these children who seemed to be collectively between the ages of six and seven. "Would you like some food Mr.?" one of the children inquired, staring into Jackal's eyes with a blankness that didn't equate to the chipper tone in use. He'd known the face these children were making all too well, and it left a nasty taste in his mouth, that even if this was a cover story, that even one second of it was spent to protect scum like the Prince, and the casino owners. Jackal would peer down at the slave, around knee length, and rub his hand through the slave's hair, "No thank you." Jackal responded. Jackal had managed to maintain his composure for the whole 'serving time' until one of the guards kicked one of the children serving for not placing the food on the table quickly enough. From his position behind Mr. Calvin, bloodlust began to drip from the man's entire being, he'd simply divert his eyes in the guards direction, shooting him a menacing glare. Feeling the pressure, the guard would shout, "H-H-Hurry and get her back into the kitchen! Both of you won't be having anymore breaks!" stuttering under the pressure of Jackal's glare, as another one of the children forfeited a veiled silence to help the fellow enslaved child.

As the child was escorted out the room, moments after the masked man began his exchange with the Prince, the guard next to Jackal, standing at around 6'2 in height, screamed out his identity to the whole room. He'd been a wanting man, known for his violence towards civilians but to be honest, Jackal hadn't much time to keep with bounties as of late, regardless of even his own. In one motion, two things occurred. First, before Jackal had noticed it, somehow, the red head's right leg had transformed into canon of some kind. It'd be the leg on the opposite of Bazil, the leg farthest away from Helios's position. Secondly, the man would arc his leg at a forty-five degree angle, ten meters away from his position in the centre of the table, towards the Prince's direction. Too taken aback by the action, everyone in the room was slow to respond, and the canonball that would eventually cripple the flooring, would be fired outward. This caused Jackal to chuckle to himself in pure amusement, as this was his time to strike. A good thief knows when to use another's glory to gain his own prize, turning to his left, which was the opposite end of the table, where Mato and Regal was positioned, Jackal pushed off the ground that had remained below his feet in a full-speed dash towards Regal, attempting to travel ten meters. Upon the canon-ball's arrival with the floor and Jackal's leap towards Regal, who'd be sitting on the same side as Calvin's seating position, as Mato sat at the helm of his end, Regal getting ready to respond to Styx's actions, wouldn't have enough time to react to the scarfed bandit that was now a mere inch away from him. Clutching the man's face, achieving some hang time off the ground with the leap, Jackal's fingers gripped onto Regal's shocked face. As the floor collapsed, all of those seated within the room fell with the floor, how they'd fall and where they'd fall would be all up to them but Jackal would clutch onto Regal's body, using it as a landing pad during the descent. The two men would scuffle in the fall, Regal ripping away Jackal's scarves and Jackal maintaining his clutch on the man's face. Discharging a burst of Electro, Jackal would push off Regal's body, catapulting against his chest cage much like a trampoline. Regal would try to grip for Jackal's leg to take him down with him, but the surge of Electro would paralyse the man's motor senses, as the electricity ran ramped through Regal's skull, causing delays in his motor skills.

Using momentum, Jackal would hop from fragments of the former flooring to decrease the degree of his fall, climbing back up in the direction he was falling from until he'd gain enough leverage at about fifteen feet off the ground to assess a proper landing point, now consumed by a pillar of debris dust. Lunging from the final fragment, Jackal would crash land into a pile of Black Jack Tables that'd he estimated below him in the dust. Bracing for impact, Jackal would lie beneath the rubble covered by the dust until the field cleared. Once the dust cleared, the scene before the casino owners wasn't one that made anyone want to stick around. Bazil Styx and the infamous Jackal were standing in the middle of the VIP Section, surrounding by dozens of dead bodies, a bloodied Prince and a half dead bandit King. Mato's position would've been lost in the chaos, though, to Jackal, who wasn't keeping much tabs on him, it didn't matter. Jackal was about three meters away from Bazil, sitting in a pile of broken tables. Covered in several cuts and bruises for the most part, the tables had broken Jackal's fall, and his naturally durable body put up the ante for the rest of the damage's toll. Grinning, his face now exposed, "You're one crazy fucker Red Head." Jackal exclaimed, chuckling in his usual, 'Shishishi' mannerism. Regardless of what happened next, Jackal would stand, regaining his footing, waiting for the rest of the dust to clear to obtain everyone's position in the shit storm. Peering over at Regal's convulsing body, Jackal would add, "Now that's one more Bandit King down." Jackal exclaimed grinning.

ooc: Sorry for the late post.

The capabilities of the guards assigned to the Prince would, sadly, have to be demonstrated. The request earlier for everyone to take a seat was more of an order that needed to be followed. Both of the Guards by Calvin of all people were the only ones to keep standing. Only because they belonged to Calvin did the Prince give a shuttle gesture for his Guards not to act. He would have to deal with Calvin and his guest at a later time. But any further disrespect would warrant the might of the Prince's Guards. The two guards who were behind the Prince were Porcus and Dolor. Not the strongest but they weren't weak by far. If you want to compare them to anyone you can compare them to Mato, who wasn't weak either. They'd have a edge in their respective things Porcus with his Strength and Dolor with his speed.

Beli Began to Rain - Page 2 Latest?cb=20130625093329

The bottle of 'Blood of Kings' was a little bit away from the center of the table to be admired as well as drunken. It was closer in the direction of the Prince than of Bal. It shouldn't have been needed to be said but suspicious acts would not be taken lightly. Mato had already planted the seeds of treachery within this room by stating his life and even the Prince's could be in danger. That along with the two guards standing behind Calvin still not taking a seat made the two guards behind the Prince even more worrier and cautious. They would not act though as with food being given out everyone should be relaxed, but that wasn't the case. The creepy smile on the face of Bazil along with his sudden motion to move from his spot put the nail in the coffin. Porcus would close the small gap that was between him and the Prince, standing directly behind his seat now. Dolor on the other hand would begin to increase the gap between him and the Prince. The Children at this time had already exited the room and the Man, Bazil, had already lifted the special bottle brought up. Him drinking the entire bottle, or attempting to, was no something you did within a setting like this. And if he thought they'd allow him to make any further actions similar or worse than that he was mistaken. Even though the Prince had tried to ease the tension within this room it was still there, and the actions of Bazil would cause no hopes of negotiations.

"OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" Someone would scream as they ran out of the building known as Rainy's Dinner. It was the Old Man from earlier that had won big with his Wife. He was holding her injured body as he struggled to exit. Swarms of people were behind him and in front of him running away as well. Though, you could say a lot of them were injured in comparison to the amount of people there were that number was small. The security within the building were doing their best to help in the evacuation of everyone, so that no further harm could befall them. Today was supposed to be the start of the Festival. Or at least the plans for it were to be finalized. Sadly, no one would know what would become of this day.

He'd curse when stating his name, as if he mattered. Bal found the information good as he'd need to arrest this guy once he was back to his normal duties. But the Prince and company didn't see him as nothing but a delinquent that had no place here. Following that something strange would happen to the leg of the gun, as it would transform almost instantly into a weapon.

"LEAVE PORCUS." Dolor would announce as he would attempt to attack. But, that would fall through just like the floor. Dolor wasn't fast enough to moved forward and stop the guy from aiming and firing. This was the first time someone had gotten this close to the Prince and attempted to attack him. The attack was taken fully by Dolor, in a attempt to make sure it wouldn't harm the Prince too much. But, with the blast being as powerful as it was damage still would occur to the Prince.

With Porcus behind the Prince he'd reach down and grab him, when Dolor said his first word. With the Prince firmly within his clutches Porcus wouldn't brace himself or anything like that but leap backwards and cause his massive body to go through the wall behind him. The added shock wave from the attack would in his movement, but all harm them both. He'd take damage from this act but the Prince was severely wounded. But, he was saved and wouldn't fall like the others within the room. Dolor though was another story as he'd been killed after taking most of the damage.

Mato, who was right next to Regal, was paying more attention to everything more than anyone but Bal. He knew he was right to not trust Calvin and especially the one with a Mohawk. As he ruined everything. The meeting was supposed to fail yes but no one was to be attacked. A second meeting that would be held at his casino was going to be done at a later date. And that was were Calvin, and maybe even the Prince, would meet their end. Mato had plans but those were now ruined as no one would want to hold another meeting, not even himself. Not because of the incident within the room but because of the fate that would befall his Right Hand Man Regal. Unable to save him he would save himself. Where he ended up after it was all said and done was around five meters behind Kaito and Bazil.

So much was going on and even with his third eye couldn't keep his attention on everyone, but he tried his best. If you saw him without his mask on you'd be disorientated from how fast his eyes switched from person to person. With everything unfolding the way it did Bal presence here wasn't really needed. As there would be no way to keep the peace after such a incident. With the floor collapsing Bal knew the course of action he was going to take. leap between the falling debris till he got to the ground safely. Simple and something of his skill was capable of doing. But, this was something else to expect as he would be saved before having to do this. Or he had died and was just simply going up to heaven. It was the first thing as he'd look up and see that Birdal was the one holding him. The Old guy seemed to have a reason for his name being such as he was a Skypiean, his wings being hidden this entire time. And Bal just thought he had a hunched back. The two didn't lower though as the smoke needed to clear first. "So, was I supposed to prevent this?" Bal would ask.

"Ughh, hush boy you are heavy." Birdal would say. He couldn't stay like this so he would go over to the other door within the floor-less room, Bal kicking it open, and the two would enter it.

"No, I never expect such a thing to happen. But that is fine...I can switch the narrative of this. Take down Mato in the mean time, killing him or capturing him, doesn't matter. He will be the one blamed for this, he and Calvin. Even if the Prince died or not I am enough to spin the story in a way that the King can accept. I should've just had the meeting being just between those that mattered, and no guards or whatever the hell those two were."

"I think it was fine they came. It made my job easier. I do hope everyone is okay though....that was a nasty ability used." Bal would say. He honestly hoped everyone was okay, even those that did the attack. He didn't really know what happened to most people but looking below from what he could see those that were having the time of their life or losing it were now in chaos. He would though get a idea. "Birdal hand me a Den Den Mushi if you have one."

Birdal had one and would hand it to Hannibal. Hannibal would not take anytime to dial his intended number. Puru Puru Puru click

"This is Captain Hannibal Uchis. I need all available Marines to report to Rains Dinner. It has become under attack by criminals. I will assist once you get here."

"What are you doing at a Casino?"

"Don't worry about my gambling habits, it isn't illegal." Hannibal would say as he'd hang up. Why he was questioned was because he had a somewhat close relationship with the person he had called. Them being friends for a couple years now. Though they had a little friendly exchange they knew this was urgent. As if they had the balls to attack this place they must be well equipped. Even though, at this moment, that wasn't the case at all Hannibal knew it would be a good idea to have Marines in this location when this was all said and done.

"Give me that!" Birdal would say snatching his Den Den Mushi, having to jump to gab it. "If too many of them come the press will also come, you idiot. And I am not ready with what I have to tell them. As it isn't unknown that the Prince is here today."

"Don't worry I got this. You guys brought me here because I am one right? Okay, then. Let me do my shitty task." Hannibal would go back to his rapsy voice since he no longer spoke on the Den Den Mushi. Since they were within a vacant room and too high up no one would hear their conversation. Shit, added with the screaming of people trying to evacuate nothing could be really heard unless you were really close to someone.

His fist was cocked back, and exuded a lot of heat. It was as if steam began to emit from his body, "PUN..... And without any warning he'd send forward a straight right in the direction of Bazil and Kaito. CH!" The powerful shock-wave sent flying forward moved at amazing speeds, Tertiary, and the the power behind it was enough to not just send anyone caught in it flying but the very ground that it traveled across was being pushed aside as if it was nothing at all. Mato didn't care that it might harm regal in the process, the Man was already dead in his mind. His attack would come at the moment the smoke was clear enough for him to see through. Whether it would land or not the distance it'd travel would be great. Being enough to travel all the way till it was outside of the building, leaving a hole the size of the shock-wave. That was around 10 feet in diameter.

That attack would do something else and that would be the man known as Left who was outside. He didn't like being around huge crowds at all, it made him uneasy. He was brought in around the same time as Regal, but he wasn't a Bandit. He was more of a mercenary for hire. He'd see the attack pierce through the front of the building and knock a few people flying. He already felt uneasy from the hordes of people running out. A few talking about see to known Pirates within the place, but he didn't care. But, see that attack could only belong to Mato he would move from his perch. As he walked toward the building he'd bring out a den den mushi to make a call. "Close down for the day. We have a problem, so bring all the boys." And with that he'd hang up. He wanted to wait till the large horde would stop before he entered.

Bazil, eyes now at the large whole in the ceiling, his prey having been stolen right out from under him. Enraged, the pirates arms took the form of two large bazookas. A weapon with a range of one hundred and fifty meters and enough explosive power to take out a tank, easily capable of destroying the prince before anyone could react. The rockets quickly closing the thirty meter gap they had just fallen from, converging on the room that the prince and his guard had fallen onto, bringing the rest of the suite down with them due to the floors structural integrity already being compromised. The fiery debris rained down like comets onto the casino's main floor, crushing any and all that were unfortunate enough to cross their path. Gamblers fleeing in every direction, maimed and bloodied, carrying pieces of loved ones as they desperately tried to escape the carnage. At the exit, they pushed one another trying to escape, trampling those that couldn't stay upright, in many ways they were no worse than the demon that had descended upon them. The screams were drown out by the sound of the upper floors crashing down and the flames from the explosions quickly spreading to the casino's elaborate decor.

Turning back, the pirate looked back over his shoulder towards the man behind, his form resembling that of a hybrid zoan something that piqued the young mans interest. The surrounding civilians and off duty marines being caught up in a scene from hell itself, all enacted by this demon in the form of flesh and bone, looking at his accomplice, he smiled asking the furry creature behind him, "Are those real?" Referencing the animalistic traits he had, seemingly ignoring the surrounding danger. Though only a few seconds had passed since bringing down the rest of the upper level, they were very much in danger as they were right in the path of where the prince would fall.

Before he could hear the mans response or the debris could crush them, he heard a yell from behind them both, there stood Maito, one of the men from meeting. He thrusted his fist towards the duo, sending a vicious gust of wind in their direction. The power it had blew the falling debris away and smashed it through the wall of the casino, essentially becoming a battering ram as it crashed outside, crushing part of the onlooking crowd that had gathered. The puzzle like pieces of the floor flew threw the air, smashing into whatever came across their path. The wind hit Bazil like a truck, knocking him off his feet and sent him flying around fifteen meters, until he managed to gab a slot machine as he flew by, preventing him from being launched directly out of the building with the rest of the debris and leaving him relatively safe near the now large hole, though he was bleeding from his mouth now indicating something internal. Though the punch was short lived, the force it created was enough to not only safe him from the falling debris but it shuffled everything on the casino floor around, pushing anything that wasn't bolted down out of the building.

Gathering himself, Bazil looked up and noticed the masked man and the hunched advisor floating in the air, the advisor revealing a pair of wings as the reason for his previous hunch. The two quickly disappearing through a door on the next level that went into a room that hadn't collapsed. Looking around at the corpses that littered the ground, they had been carried across the casino by the punch. The chaos and confusion to cover around the Rainy Dinners was unimaginable, the thousands of casino patrons forced into the sandy streets, each maimed or hurt in some way, the sounds of screams and the smell of death hung on the air. The area in front of Rain Dinners now filled with what seemed to be every person in town, as they desperately tried to help those who had just been crushed by flying debris that was made weaponized by the force.

Inside the casino, the building continued to collapse, standing on it last leg. Bazil looking around, happened to land right by his coat, it having been moved here by the punch. He also noticed the body of the prince, wrapped in the arms of his also deceased swine like guard, confirming his kill, he appetite was satisfied, for now. Putting it on his coat, he actually placed his arms within the sleeves and dipped out of the casino through what was the main wall on the front side of the casino, now a gaping hole. Slipping into the chaotic sea of people that were flooding the streets, the pirate tossed the hood on his jacket up covering up his trademark mohawk and the fur distorted the view of his facial features. Making it impossible to identify him in the frantic crowd.

Jackal and Bazil stood apart from each other by three meters as the duo stared each other down momentarily. Jackal had just witnessed the man literally assimilate the ceiling above, wiping out the floor they were previously standing on. The loud crash of the missiles impact on the ceiling left a sharp ringing noise in all those within the casino's ear's who'd be within range of the explosion, leaving the common man disoriented. The building would shake under weight of the initial blast, and continue onwards on it's course, wiping out chunks of the fleeing crowd who'd been on the opposite end of the casino. See, the Jackal and the Mohawk man had fallen exactly ten meters from exit of the VIP Section, to the bottom of the staircase which they had traversed in earlier instances to enter the next level of the VIP Section. After watching the man fire at the ceiling, many civilians fled like cockroaches after being bathed in the gases of insecticide. Turning over his shoulder, this was the first time Jackal and Bazil would make eye contact. Bazil would ask Jackal about his animal like features, making hand gestures with his hand to imply he was referring to his ears. Jackal would shoot the man a grin, "Been real as long as I've known." Jackal said sharply not a panic manner but fast enough that it wouldn't hinder his ability to respond to any of the drama going on around him. From behind them, with Regal sitting paralysed by Jackal feet, the nuances of screech could've been heard commenced, by the time he'd looked over his shoulder, Mato had already fired off a shockwave towards Bazil and his position.

Jackal would have mere moments to respond to the situation, usually, lunging out the path of the shockwave would be the ideal response but with the debris falling from the ceiling, and a plethora of enemies in play, Jackal opted not to make any severely rash actions. Instead, the man looked down at his feet and in a split decision, picked up the eight foot Regal by his red jacket's back, digging his claws deep into the Jackal's snakeskin make and hoisted the man's body in front of him as human shield, facing the direction of the incoming shockwave. Then, with a quick glance behind, he'd notice the staircase behind them, leaping backwards up the staircase, Jackal would attempt to land at the peak of the staircase path, disbursing an electrical field around him from up to five diameters around his body for any enemies who'd try to catch him off guard mid-flight. Once he'd land, he'd have a three meter space, which wouldn't be long before the shockwave caught up, carrying him backwards through the hole in the wall which would've been created to the West of the Casino. Regal's body would handle the brunt of the shockwave, the Bandit stared his former business partner in his eyes begging for mercy moments prior before the punch had been fired but it was then Regal knew it was over for him, and even though the Jackal had created distance so he could control the path of which the shockwave pushed him, Regal knew it wasn't to save his life. Hope fading, Regal acted as the human shield, taking all the force of the shockwave and then motioned around in quick instances to block any incoming shrapnel or stone falling from the roof.

Lost in the chaos, Jackal had been separated from his Mohawk contemporary. Bracing for impact, Jackal's body smashed through the wall, now discarding Regal in the final moments, a meter before impact. Landing on the outside of the building, on the platform overlooking the surrounding moat, Jackal would quickly rise to his feet, shaking off the initial damage due to his durable body, covered in scratches and bruises. From his position through the hole, he'd be able to overlook the front part of the casino, seeing the swarm of bodies making their way out of the burning building. The chaos was to the North of the building and his position, and being moved to the West end by the shockwave, Jackal was able to see the buildings of the downtown shopping area within sight. "I've accomplished my mission. Regal's wasted." Jackal thought. Clenching his knees, Jackal would lunge from the casino, towards a neighbouring building fifteen meters away, which was the maximum scope of his lunge. However, this wouldn't be a crash landing, he'd use the momentum to push outward again, to begin his fleeing from the scene of the crime. Many questions went through his head but for now, he'd have to regroup. Within moments, the man's animal like appendages touched down on the neighbouring three story building's roof, making his exit stage left very quietly, the majority focused on the sea of chaos to the North. If anyone would attempt to stop his escape, he wouldn't engage, he'd use his naturally sharpened reflexes to avoid, knowing that his initial lung from the building's outskirts to the neighbouring building was moving at Territory pace, which would've had a slight sharpness to it's groove.

Exit.

He had changed out of his previous attire and given it to Birdal. He wasn't wearing anything but a brown shirt and a pair of grey drawstring pants. These clothes had to belong to someone else other than the Prince they had dinner with, maybe the other one. It did not matter though as he just needed to get into some civilian clothing before he headed down. Why he was so cool and collective was because he was shocked. So many crazy things had just happened and he didn't really know what he should. Do with how things were handled the Marines and local law enforcement would've arrived even without his call. That was the scale of this incident. Though, this place was too massive to fall from any attacks the fledgling fighters could muster the place would never be the same. When repairs would be made things would change. Security being one of the main ones, especially with the Prince being put in danger like he was. Even if he was the one that allowed the enemy to get so close to him.

Hannibal would have to speak with the Cp agents after this. As working for the Red Lotus was something he actually couldn't do, it just wasn't in him. He'd save his daughter with his own hands without tarnishing who he was. He would though arrest Mato and also those other two. He was not acting as a agent of the Red Lotus but as a true Marine, as he should've always acted as. "Birdal I need you to take me down. Getting to the elevator from here would take to long."

It seemed another attack would be done at the above portion of the upper level. To what purpose no one but those within this conflict knew. The secondary attack coming before Mato's assault, which he took a few minutes to charge and wait for the visibility to happen. Since the falling debris had caused dust to hinder everyone's line of sight. Even looking up at the second floor or down at the first would yield the same dilemma. Regardless, the Prince's guards that were outside of the room would take him from the wounded Porcus immediately, leaving the guard on the floor. Waiting to asset the situation wasn't on their mind. Getting the wounded Prince out of here was. Only one of them would grab him, carrying him like a newborn. The others followed close behind him. They moved quickly like anyone with their skill and job would do, taking on seconds to leave from the large room that connected the first four. Why they left Porcus was because he wasn't dead and they needed to make sure everyone could deal with any other threat that might present itself.

Porcus would slowly sit up and then get to his feet, he as hurt but he wasn't like the Prince. Nor was he dead like Dolor was. No, Porcus still had fight within him. At the time of him standing up two projectiles would be heading toward his direction. He didn't have any weapons on him, just as Dolor did. But, that didn't mean he'd not be able to get some. As he'd grip the side piece of wall he was using to help himself stay up. With a piece of concrete within his hand he'd toss it forward. Quickly and with all the strength he could muster he'd toss them toward one of the incoming pieces. He needed to only cause one to explode as that would help in stopping the others. Though, he was successful in his endeavor he would only be able to cause them to explode prematurely. He was still within the blast radius of both and would suffer harm from them. The smoke from the explosion filling the air above leaving it impossible from anyone to know the true outcome of the attack or anything going on above. Porcus and Dolor lived up to their purposes. Just like all Elite Guards do. Giving their life for the one they protected. But, even if his attack wouldn't trigger them prematurely the damage they caused wouldn't be enough to bring down the entire second floor. Yes, the small room from before had collapsed but the first and second floors housed many people. And the amount of space that took to do so was tremendous.

"W-what is this madness?!" She'd say in complete horror as even from where she was people ran in panic. As if the very world was ending. The Princess and her guards couldn't even advance further from their position, so heading into the nearby building would be their next course of action. She didn't care who it was that owned it and was able to get to the very tip top, so she could at least see Rains Dinner. With the help of a pair of binoculars she could see that people still flooded out of the building. But, that wasn't the only thing going on. She would also see to the west a large group of similarly dressed Men heading toward the building. The only person of importance at Rains dinner was her Husband. "....." She couldn't even muster a word as someone else was at the Casino that she considered close to. She also cared about the people running and those that weren't able to get away from whatever had happened.

The explosion would send the door of the room they were within flying back, and shake the walls. They weren't near the door or within it's flight path so Birdal and Hannibal were fine. "It has to be that kid....but how is he doing all of these large scale attacks back to back? Does he not get tired?" Hannibal would say. This was something he would have rather said in his head as it wasn't a question directed at Birdal.

Mato wouldn't follow up with another attack, as he was exhausted. How he got to this lower level was that he fell. He wasn't like everyone else who was super agile and could just bounce from falling debris. He was bigger than most and wider as well. His left leg was also broken but he still forced himself to stand on it, albeit not putting as much pressure on it as he did his right. More debris would fall from above it being the by product of the second attack done. He heard the explosion but didn't care for it, as he had attacked when his opening was there. And since, after looking around, he didn't see the two anymore he assumed they had been killed. He wished he could've kept that Red haired bastard alive so he could torture him, but he was fine with killing him. Though that wasn't the case at all Mato was proud of himself. He knew his left-hand was outside and that backup would be coming. They needed to hurry though as they weren't a match for too many foes. If they just blended in with the chaos outside and some sneak in Mato could get out of here. He would not stay on Sandy Island after this as if his Father survived blame would be pushed. And Mato knew he'd be blamed for hiring those two, even though he didn't.

"You look tired." Hannibal would say from above. Arriving only if Mato was the only one truly left. He was being carried by Birdal but would be dropped once around two meters from the ground. He could take the little fall and would land carefully on the ground. He did not have any shoes on, as he tossed them with his previous attire. He didn't talk with his fake voice so the knew one should be new to Mato. And it proved so as Mato would only look in the direction of Hannibal once he had turned around. And in that time Birdal was already flying back up.

"Who the fuck are you? Shouldn't you be escaping? This place isn't fit for civilians.
Mato would say as he'd turn his attention away from Hannibal.

"Hey, you shouldn't turn your back on me. Actually, maybe you should since I am arresting you...wait no. I'd need my cuffs for that. As a Marine I really leave things I should always have on me." Hannibal would say which would cause Mato to turn back around. The distance between the two of them was about a meter and a half.

The smile plastered on his face hide what he truly wanted to show. even how he spoke hide the true feeling that came from Hannibal. In short he was a afraid, something most won't admit. The abilities that were showcased today were of a level he didn't even feel he could deal with on his own. But, he couldn't show that he was afraid nor could he run till this blew over.  The one to cause the large hole on this level that went outside was Mato. Luckily for Hannibal the one that caused the hole on the second floor was gone. As if he had to attempt to arrest him at the same time he might not get out unscathed. In his mind he believed that all those that got away from this were working together. The only individuals he knew weren't in on this attack was Birdal, Seti, and himself as they would have nothing to gain from this. Mato on the other hand would.

“Arrest me? On what grounds?” Mato would retort as he'd turn his attention back to Hannibal, turning all the way around so he could face the Man. He already had a pissed expression on his face, but it got even more twisted at Hannibal's comments.

“It has been brought to my attention that you are the mastermind behind a assassination attempt on the Prince. And the destruction of well....this casino. Usually, we leave matters like this to the local Government. But, I am the only person here to bring you to justice.” Hannibal would be looking the guy over as he scanned him up and down. Feeling a bit more at ease for doing so. You could tell that he was hurt in various parts of his body. Large bruises were evident on parts of his body that was visible, and if there wasn't a bruise there was a gash. The only way he would’ve gotten such wounds is if he had just fell from above instead of getting down another way. It wasn’t his fault that he fell through a lot would’ve been like him if placed in that predicament. What was amazing was that he was still standing and didn’t show any sign of falling down at all. He was strong, Hannibal had to give him that. If they fought unhindered Mato might even be able to overwhelm the Marine over time. They would never know what the true outcome of a bout between the two, unhindered, would be like. Either Hannibal would arrest Mato or Mato would kill Hannibal here and now. Those were the only two outcomes that could happen here today with them. Another thing to point out is that Hannibal was thinking past Mato at this moment, just because he was weakened. He needed to figure out how he was going to capture those other two, or at least Bazil.

They marched all the way to the entrance pushing there way through those being helped. They weapons were brandished for all to see. Serving as the only thing needed to make sure people moved out of their way. You could just assume they had bad intentions as they weren't apart of the Marines nor the local armed forces. This though would also prove to be their down fall. As before any of them could enter the building to assist Mato or anything of that nature something else would grab their attention. It was not unknown knowledge that the Prince had been within the Casino he location was always known by someone looking after him, that didn't belong to his Elite Guard. He also was known to always spend time within the Casino he had built. A army of soldiers would arrive, and that isn't counting the Marines called by Hannibal. Mainly they came because this was a national emergency due to the Prince being known to be within the Casino. The story spun by Birdal also would get them to this area quicker than most would think. Simply, Birdal sent out a call via his den den mushi that the Prince has been attacked by terrorist. This being after Hannibal made his call and went to change. Birdal wouldn't go into more detail a he needed to flesh out his story more later when he would be questioned about it.

The force that Mato's left hand man called would be dwarfed by the new force now here. They were able to clearly see them due to their position on the entrance steps. Many of them didn't sign up for something like this and contemplated running away. But, there was no were to go. As those hurt were being taken away and cleared from the vicinity the force moved closer. And even a group of Marines, around fifty, would arrive and make their way to the front. Mato's left hand man would do what he did best and would enter the building. This was not to help Mato, not at all. He was going to escape this. As he entered he find a good spot and get himself dirty, as he was going to just act like he had been trapped inside.

To say Mato's men fought to the death, would be a lie. They would surrender without putting up a fight at all. Dying for someone like Mato wasn't something they'd do, and would be better off just being arrested. Though, they were not aware of why they were to be arrested. They just thought the weapons they carried painted them as people apart of this attack.

Hannibal would begin by making the first move simply starting out at a run. The ground in this spot was flatter than more, as the debris here was knocked back a bit. It wasn't as flat as the path created by Mato's first attack but it was close. The gap had been closed only feet away from each, and Mato wanted that. At point blank the attack he was about to use would surely kill anyone. They both were big guys, around the same height,  so Mato believed he knew the type of fighting style guy would use. But, whatever he did wouldn't matter. As Mato would throw a right hook, it wouldn't cleave through the ground but it would splatter this guy if it made contact. "HOOK!" Mato yelled closing his eyes just for a dew seconds, as he knew dust would fly from this attack. And when he opened them he didn't see anything in front of him.  "Eh?" Mato would feel a bit of pain in his left ankle that he didn't have before.

Hannibal primary used his legs, even though he could fight with his entire body, to do combat. With his legs his reach was longer than that of Mato's, since he fought like a boxer. Seconds before the hook Hannibal would duck to the ground, but a. Using this force the user does a 180° spin sweep kick that is parallel to the ground aimed at Mato's foot. The attack was usually used to sweep someone off their feet or even break it. But, in this case it did near to nothing at all. As Hannibal sat there in a compromising position he looked up at Mato, who looked down at him. "You were supposed to spin." Hannibal would say. Mato would move so he was above Hannibal and crouch as he began to throw punch after punch downward, Hannibal could do nothing but block. His punches were heavy especially with them coming from above. Hannibal had tried to be fancy and use a new move he practiced a while back. And it ended up with him on the end of a beat down. Luck was within Hannibal's corner as Mato wasn't able to use his strong attack like before, well not in quick succession. It only took ten punches before Hannibal really began to feel the pain within his forearms.

"KING!" Mato cocked back his right hand as he was tired of this, he was going to end this fight here and now. Hannibal had lowered his guard and seemed out of it. Seconds before Mato would throw the fight ending punch he'd feel a sharp pain through his entire body. And he'd lower both hand to hold his lower region. He would then begin to stumble backwards. "Y-you....YOU HIT ME IN THE DICK!"

Hannibal, who used that time to stand up, dusted himself off. "Okay, I admit that was a low blow....I'm not proud of myself for that. But, you left me the opening I needed to get back up." Hannibal would say as he'd look at Mato who was still recovering. Hannibal wouldn't attack as he already felt bad for using such a dirty trick to get out of a jam. He didn't fight that way unless he really had to, which was the case.

'This guy is playing around.....' Mato would think to himself as he'd let go of his lower region. He'd get into a boxing stance as he'd begin to slowly move forward. He was going to take this guy out with a set-up. He was wrong about Hannibal being a grapple but know knew he used his legs. All, Mato had to do was close the distance and stop him from being able to do so. Suddenly, Mato would push forward at a quicker pace. He was ready for any kick that could possibly come his way. But, known came and he got into his arm's reach. First he'd throw a couple jabs toward Hannibal. Seeing that Hannibal blocked them he knew what to do next and would throw a left hook, since he was throwing the jabs with his right. Mato would begin to rotate on his left foot and swings his body out of the way of Hannibal as he throws the left hook. He didn't underestiamte Hannibal so this is why he moved his body from harm’s way so that he doesn't get countered.

'Why is he just jabbing? Wait, he isn't a scrub.'
Hannibal would think to himself. Noticing the hand that was being used he'd tighten his guard up as the hook came. It wasn't as strong as the attacked that sent shock-waves but it had a lot of power behind it. It being strong enough to get Hannibal off of his feet and begin to fly to his side. Hannibal could feel his arm crying out in pain as he lowered his guard a bit. Now he knew if he fought Mato at 100% he might not win at all, as the guy was still very powerful. If this was to end it needed to end quickly. Hannibal would open his third eye as he couldn't hold back anymore. He used that to look for any weak spot he could find on Mato, and he would find it.

"Oh, shit! You are a Calamity! Now I know why you fight dirty you are a dirty being. Hehehe, well let us finish this freak." Mato would say as he would begin to move forward to close the meter gap that was between them now. He would notice Hannibal drop his guard after what he said, and felt even more confident. This got him swelling with energy.

"Every time." Hannibal would mumble to himself as he lowered his guard. Everything about his changed at this moment. He wasn't overcome with sadness, but that soon turned to anger. As Mato would lung with another left hook. Hannibal already had the part he wanted to attack and would do so. He'd motion to the the right side of Mato, at the same time administering a kick to his temple. It seemed to stagger Mato but he would attempt to attack again but Hannibal seemed to keep his attack going by dropping the leg he just used and spin to hit the other, to hit Mato on the other side of the head. Mato was feeling it now and didn't even notice Hannibal move again and get directly behind him to finish it off with a kick to the back of the head.

Skill:

Princess Alia would arrive as now things were cleared out more. She made here through the soldiers and watched as many individuals would be being arrested. They didn't enter though as the Prince was brought out by his Royal guards, and Birdal. he wasn't taken away just yet but was receiving better treatment outside before being taken home. He wouldn't be taken to the hospital as they already were being flooded with patients. Even with people being treated on scene the work load those at the hospitals within this town were going to have was immense. Princess Alia though wasn't allowed to go with the Prince as he was being taken away, as he didn't trust anyone. She stayed and did what she could to help, having her guards and attendants help out as well. Everyone had been taken out of the building at this point. Double and even triple trips made to ensure everyone was brought out safely. The Casino still stood but it wouldn't be open for months. After helping a elderly couple she would notice there was a crowd of people near the entrance of the building. They didn't seem hurt at all rather they seemed to be new reporters.

She mad her way over just to figure out what was going on. To understand why those people thought it'd be okay to do such a thing whilst so many wounded still needed help. She wouldn't make it through them right away but she began to hear one man speak.

"Okay, I will say this one more time. This was...not a attack on the Prince, but a attack on just the casino in a poor attempt to rob it. It went sore, but we handled it. Our main focus right now though to make sure everyone is alright and can get the best medical attention possible at the moment. "

"I was able to speak with someone that swore they were with the heart of it. After the first explosion that took place on the second floor he said he saw another Man attack again! His arms like weapons! Causing even more damage! Who was that Man? And what he used just regular weapons, or is he one of those devil fruit users?"

Hannibal wouldn't say anything for a second, "We have reason to believe his name was Bazil Styx. A wanted pirate that has already caused a few problems here on Sandy Island. The marines are going to work with the local government further to bring him to justice. But, we will not stop there. We are going to crack down even harder on Piracy and any other criminal acts we find. What happened to this place. And what happened in other parts of this great country by criminals will not be tolerated. I give you my word as a Captain that I will not rest till we make things right again and everyone can feel safe." Hannibal would say in response to the reporter.

"I also was told the Man, you say is Bazil, turned his arms into weapons. You didn't answer the other reporter but was that a devil fruit?"

"I am not sure. Regardless if he is or not he is extremely dangerous." Hannibal would say as he was not saying if that Man had a Devil fruit or not, even though he knew the answer.

"We saw you carrying out a Man earlier. Who was that? He was arrested soon after you brought him out. So what was his involvement in all of this? Some says he is the owner of the rival casino not that far from here."

"Yes, that was Mato Stagnin. He was the mastermind in all of this. I do not know why he would do such a thing, nor do I care. He has been arrested and all those that followed him into this as well. Luckily, I along with other Marines were at the scene to do the best we could in stop things before they got any worse. " Hannibal was lying not because he wanted to paint himself as a hero, not at all. He did this because he knew he was supposed to. He needed to keep the image of not only the Marines but the local government up. He shared the praise all around and highlighted the efforts that people were taking to save others. Though, he didn't want to he would be asked to participate in the parade, that was pushed back a few weeks. During that time he also was given a large some of paper beli from the Prince and Birdal for arresting Mato and changing the narrative of the whole ordeal. Though, tragedy wold strike as the Prince as well as Birdal would die. Not from any injuries they suffered but from being poisoned.

The death of the Prince was big news that spread throughout the entire Kingdom, the second prince to die. The parade would undergo changed by the Widowed Princess Alia. Though, she seemed upset and heart-broken, she wasn't. The blame for the death of the Prince would be not only pushed onto the still active Bazil but others involved in the ordeal. The King executing those involved instead of allowing them to spend their time in jail.

A Month later

Beli Began to Rain - Page 2 7d42bf7e9a229a5fa74cba4c8f27092b

The parade would commence at sun-set. The date was Saturday and also the birthday of the late Prince. Rainy Dinner's had reopened with Alia as the new owner; she also gained owner ship of the other Casino as well instead of having it torn down. Thousands of people filled the streets of Rainbase, of all ages. The parade had many floats on them. Hannibal was to join Alia on hers before the fireworks would start. At this time though he was in the local Marine base doing paper work and having a meeting. Who it was that came to meet him was the CP agents who assigned him this mission.

"I can't do it." Hannibal would say blunlty as he didn't look away from his paper work.

"Do you know this isn't a order?" The Man would retort sharply.

"Yes, I am well aware of that. But, but I just can't bring myself to do such work. I will tell the Red Lotus myself that I won't be their dog as long as I am a Marine. And that I am coming for my daughter."

"No need."

"What?"

"I've taken care of it honestly. How you handled yourself with those reporters was good, real good. And I can't allow you to get anymore corrupted, not you. That or you leaving us because you feel some type of way about what you did. The Marines need someone like you. A poster boy if you will."

"What is the catch?"

"You will forever be the dog of the World Government Hannibal. Also, any offspring will be required to also serve within either the ranks of the Marines or CP. You don't only sign away your freedom but the freedom of generations to come."

"Is this thing usually done?"

"No, only on rare occasions has anyone been given that way out. We sometimes just kill you outright."

"What of my daughter?"

"The child you adopted in Baltigo?"

"Yes, my daughter."

"She will see you soon. I already guaranteed her safety before I spoke to you. But, before you see her we have a task you have to handle on Sandy Island."

"And what is that?"

"You will find out. Just relax though, you are a hero for today. And I understand you need to be getting to the parade soon." And with that the agent would leave the room, but not closing the door behind him.

Hannibal wasn't even able to give his answer. But, he knew he'd be trapped by someone. As he knew the Red Lotus or the World Government would just let him walk away from anything he has done or was going to do. If he somehow did both would be gunning for his head. At this time though he would not think about it. The thought of seeing his Daughter sooner made his day, and he would go to the parade in high spirits. The floats made their rounds by the Marine base and the Princess' float would stop at the doors, so Hannibal could get on. Even when he left the building he got a few applauds. He waved as he joined the Princess and the parade began to go again. So many people needed this. Not only because they lost the Prince but because of that whole ordeal in itself. As others lost their lives, and they were celebrated. Everyone that passed away at that incident. Regardless of it being on that day or anytime later was being remembered in some way on the many floats. Soon fireworks began to fly into the air and when they exploded in beautiful fashion names of those that lost their lives would be displayed in the sky.

"Truly beautiful." Hannibal would say but in a raspy voice before clearing his throat. He fought back a few tears as it did tug on his heart string a bit. He wished he did stop Bazil before he did that stunt.

"I knew it!" Alia would say as he turned her attention away from the fireworks and to Hannibal.

Hannibal looked at her with a confused expression, "Knew what your Majesty?" Hannibal would inquire as he was lost. Her sudden outburst even startled him. Even though only he would be able to hear her.

"Don't play dumb...Bal." Her words turned the gears in Hannibal's head. As he didn't even notice he used his 'Bal' voice when he first spoke. It was by complete accident. He didn't even know what to say to play it off, as he was backed into this corner. She would begin to smile as she noticed how nervous he had gotten. "And here I thought you also died. I'm glad that isn't he case...and you turned out to be a not so shady guy. We will though have to speak on this matter later."

Hannibal couldn't even say anything but he had a small smile on his face. He was glad she knew it was him in a way, as that mean't they could talk as they did before. The fireworks continued to go before the last one would be the real name of the Prince. After his name was done though something else would happen and that is beli began to rain from the sky. It was something the Prince built this city on and that was sharing the wealth or gaining what you didn't have before. The Beli used though was mainly the amount Hannibal had been given, just to tell you how much the Prince and Birdal paid him. He gave almost all of it as he didn't feel right keeping just a amount after the Prince died.
