"Well this really sucks. One marine ship and three bases cleared out and yet we only managed to get two normal cannons and a heavy one. But at least we got some good cannonballs to go with them." Sky muttered while running a hand along the shaft of one of the cannons and smirking at Harley who was trying to push one of the cannons up the gang plank to the Skycleaver. Harley grunted with each heavy push she gave the cannon and shouted at Sky. "Don't just stand there! At least open the loading hatch so I can start getting these things into the cannon bays!" Sweat dripped off her chin and ran down her white button down shirt. "Yeah well, you could always just let me do it." Mashyuu chimed in as he came up to the women and allowed his magnetic powers to push the cannons up the gang plank with ease, causing Harley to nearly fall forward but chuckle. "I should have just asked for your help from the start but you looked like you were having fun with your new toy. Looks like Sofia came through with that sea stone weapon." Harley chimed in.

Mashyuu patted his side where a short looking blade protruding out of a bronze and black shaft hung off his hip. "Would you ladies be so kind as to start wheeling the cannon balls up here at least? I'll get this stuff below deck. But the Captain shouldn't do all the work right. Sky, the least you can do is set a course back for Jaya." Sky narrowed her eyes and pulled the goggles on over her face. "Back to Jaya!? Jesus it's like you live there. What, it's like the third time you've been there since you started being a pirate if we go back!" Sky complained. "I haven't heard from members of my crew since we left. I'm getting worried about them and I won't lose another friend! If you don't want to sail, then give me an inflatable raft and I'll fly there!" Mashyuu shouted with annoyed rage. Sky, the usually playful woman winced and nodded her head, quickly running up the plank to start setting course.

Harley hoisted a box of five cannonballs onto a small cart at the side of the vessel and started to struggle pushing the heavy load, slowly she started to make headway, the carts squeaky wheels drowning out the sound of footsteps coming up behind the trio of Phantom Raiders. As Harley stopped to angle the cart at the gang plank a friendly voice called out to them. "Can we help with that? Looks like its a bit heavy for you Miss."

Harley froze in place, afraid to look behind her while at the top of the ship, Sky and Mashyuu peered down to see who was shouting. Six men and four women all stood in a small group, dressed in various clothes that were dirty from what looked like days of travel and little rest. The men carried cutlasses and the women had rifles strapped to their backs. "What can we do for you guys? If you're here for a fight, you won't end up enjoying the outcome!" Mashyuu shouted. "If you're here for a good time, I'll only accept one of you so the others will have to fight to the death!" Sky playfully taunted while winking down at the group of Pirates.

"What!? No! No... We used to be a big Pirate group that got cut down in the fight with the marines and Revolutionaries. We saw you cut down those other Pirates, and fight that Rev leader. Our commanding officers all got killed and we really don't want to be on this island anymore. But we all think you guys are super cool and stylish. Can we join up with you?" the apparent figurehead of the Pirates asked. Harley glanced over her shoulder up to Mashyuu and lifted a brow. The Pirate Captain, wearing his normal Pirate garb rubbed his forehead with his gloved hand and considered the situation for a few moments. He didn't know these people, it could have been a trick but they looked tired and injured. He was sure that He could take them all out with a single well placed attack if needed.

"Tell you what, I'm headed to Jaya. But I need you guys to prove yourselves. Two of you stay here and help Sky, my beautiful winged Navigator here, set the ship up for sailing. Two of you help load all this stuff onto the ship and set the cannons up to be used if we need them. Four of you go out into the forest and collect some fresh water and some food for the trip and the rest of you can report to the med bay to get patched up and then get some food. After that you can take the places of others on the ship so they can get checked out! That's the deal for now." Mashyuu offered the group.

The ten Pirates all looked at one another and talked among themselves for a few moments before turning back to look at the Phantom Raiders. "Alright, you've got yourself a deal. But what are you gonna do Captain?" the man asked. Mashyuu removed his mask and smiled. "I'm gonna get to know the people who want to join my crew little by little. So, who's staying and who's going?"

With Mashyuu giving orders, the pirates all broke into groups. The two largest men started to load all the cannon balls onto the cart Harley was pushing then worked together, slowly and carefully moving the ammo up the gang plank. Once the cart was atop the main deck the two men looked around and started to whistle at the scene. "Some ship you got here, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it on the seas before. What is this thing?" One of the men asked. Harley came up behind them and patted their backs. "It's called the Skycleaver and it's from Skypiea. Mashyuu stole it from an old friend of his on Jaya." Harley explained to the men while motioning towards the loading bay. The men marveled at the strange fins at the rear of the Skycleaver, the massive mast that seemed to reach the heavens and the jolly roger that hung from the masts. Slowly they continued on towards the docking bay and pulled a small lever that lowered them into the lower decks of the ship.

Two more men joined up with Sky, flanking each of her sides and the woman smiled wide while wrapping an arm around each of them. "Ohhh just what I asked Santa for, two strapping men to do all the work for me." She cooed, causing the men to blush. "Now I need for you two, to start by testing the winds, we need to pull out of here without a big issue and if the wind is against us it won't do any good. After you have a good idea of how teh winds is whipping about, get that gang plank up and start to strap down things like barrels and carts so we don't need to worry about loosing supplies."

The men saluted Sky and started to get to work, the Navigator leaned back against one of the masts and fanned herself playfully, happy to not have to do all the work on the ship for once. While they did that a few more made their way below deck to follow Harley into the med bay. The last few pirates headed back into the woods to try and catch a few animals to eat.

Mashyuu watched the groups get to work and nodded in approval, granted they were trying to make a good impression so he wasn't sure if he could trust them just yet. It was still nice to see people not trying to kill him for once. His wide white wings spread and carried him to the forest where the apparent leader of the group went with a few of the women who were going to hunt. Speeding through the brush, Mashyuu landed next to the group and drew his spear from his hip, quickly sliding it to its full length so he could join the hunt. "I Know a good grotto not far from here with some wildlife if you're having trouble." Mashyuu offered. The leader of the group, a man dressed in a green uniform similar to what Mashyuu expected to see of a teenager in school, lifted a brow and shrugged his shoulders. "Well at the least, we can get some fresh water there if needed." The man stated dryly while grinning ear to ear. "By the way, names Jarrett. Happy to be of service. Honestly I'm glad to see you care about your friends and crew enough to keep them safe. Our former Captain used most of us as cannon fodder. He got what was coming to him."

The statement made Mashyuu uneasy, unsure of weather or not the man had planned the death of his former Captain but one of the women quickly chimed in. "Our last Captain would use the women for his perverse pleasure and sent out others to do his fights, never being a man himself. Most of us were forced into these roles after the crew that ran with him pillaged small villages or other ships." Mashyuu nodded with his understanding and took a breath. Before he could speak the sound of rustling caught everyone's attention and the group all looked towards the sound of rustling bushes. The women lifted their rifles while Jarrett drew his blade and crouched to get ready to pounce. At the same time, Mashyuu pulled his spear back and tossed it up to catch. His body tensed as he got ready to throw his weapon. Mashyuu could have used his observation haki to see what would burst from the brush but he wanted to see what the others would do.

A few moments of tense silence passed when a large deer with wide antlers jumped from the brush. Mid stride, both women with rifles tracked the animal and pulled the hammers back on their rifles. A single moment passed when a loud bang echoed out from the rifles and took the animal down, two small burst of blood filled the air and the deer collapsed to the ground, drawing shallow breaths as its life slowly faded away.

"Wow, nice shooting ladies." Mashyuu was impressed and after stabbing his spear into the ground gave the women a light clap for their efforts. "We've been surviving out here for a bit now, nothing crazy but we got good at hunting. Thanks all the same Captain. The trouble comes with removing the bullets though." Mashyuu wandered over to the deer and glanced down at the dead body. "I can actually help with that." Mashyuu chimed in and pointed at the deer's body, pulling his finger back while releasing a magnetic pulse that dragged the bullets out of the deer's corpse. The moment that was over, Mashyuu tossed the bullets aside and one of the women handed Jarrett a few beli. "Told you it was magnetic and not haki." He joked while checking to make sure the money was real then shoved it into his pocket before slipping the sword back onto his hip. "You guys bet on how I was deflecting bullets earlier? Seems sort of twisted." "Well yeah when you say it like that. We actually bet on weather you had a devil fruit or were using haki." "Both actually. I have gotten pretty good at using different skills while being on the island. Hopefully I continue to progress." Mashyuu added and started to grab the deer by the legs.

"Why don't you let us do that, and you and Jarrett can go get that water. We aren't so far from the ship that we can't drag the body back and if we happen across any more animals on the way we can hunt them down." Mashyuu dropped the dead animal's legs and lifted his palms up as if to say "sure." The women each grabbed a leg and started to pull the deer behind them while talking about some random subject Mashyuu couldn't really comment on. "So, where is that grotto that you were talking about?" Mashyuu pointed over his shoulder and started to walk deeper into the woods.

Mashyuu walked with Jarrett through a slightly worn path thanks to Harley and Sky dragging Mashyuu's near lifeless body back to the ship a few weeks ago. "Now.... Before we get there I have to tell you, the last time I was here there was a large beast with steel like scales. It nearly killed me with a single swipe of its claws so we should be on guard. Oh... and we are gonna need some barrels or something." Mashyuu looked over his shoulder and let his shoulders slump as he turned around. "Just follow this path, I'll be back in a bit with some barrels." "Umm Alright. I guess I'll sneak into the lair of a deadly beast!" Jarrett slid his cutlass out of it's scabbard and started to creep along the worn path into the lair of a beast that nearly killed Mashyuu earlier.

Mashyuu took off and soared back to the ship, reaching out with his magnetic prowess to lift two empty barrels that two of the men were strapping down. They floated up to Mashyuu's side and he twisted around to fly back towards the grotto. At the same time, Jarrett pushed through the beaten path and glanced around with clattering teeth. He really didn't want to be there, looking at the lush grass, the beautiful water coming down the fall some thirty meters away nor did he want to smell the scent of the lovely flowers that ran along the border of the crisp pool of water.

Jarrett slowly stalked through the grotto, looking around and trying to not shake in his boots. This is stupid, why not just go up to the top of the waterfall? Oh crap, what if that monster sleeps at the top of the waterfall? I should leave right? Jarrett thought to himself as he neared the pool of water and looked at his fairly average looking reflection. "I need a shower... " He muttered and jumped when he saw Mashyuu's reflection growing over him in the pool of water.

Quickly and without word, Mashyuu pulled the lid off a barrel and placed it into the hands of Jarrett. Jarrett in turn started to fill the barrel by tipping it towards the pool and slowly dunking it down. Once the first barrel was filled, Jarrett and Mashyuu together lifted it out of the water and the Captain pulled a hand full of nails out of his pocket. "Nail Gun." He muttered and punched at the Barrel, sending the nails deep into it and the lid to keep the barrel from coming open. "Is that a real attack name of yours? Do you really launch nails?" Mashyuu chuckled and shook his head while handing the empty barrel to Jarrett. "No, I just like to give everything I do with my Devil Fruit a name. It makes using it more fun." Mashyuu admitted. "So, what do you think of the others? They working out okay?" Jarrett asked. "When I arrived at the ship, the girls were just getting to the gang plank, some of the guys were helping Sky and I haven't seen the others yet but they seem to be doing their part. I think you guys are gonna be coming with us. But being a Phantom Raider isn't easy, people die." Mashyuu admitted while helping Jarrett with the last barrel.

Once the two barrels were filled, Jarrett rolled one to its side and started to push it while Mashyuu lifted the other up with his powers and started walking along side Jarrett. "You have a really high bounty you know, how are you not a Super Nova or Warlord?" Mashyuu ran his hand through his hair and let out a soft sigh. "I've been trying to stay under the radar for the most part. It was working too. So I haven't done anything major to upset the balance in the world but that might be changing soon. As far as being a Warlord goes, I don't agree with the Marines or World Government on most things. I just want to live a life that's free." Mashyuu admitted as the two broke out of the forsest and started heading back towards the ship.

The duo moved the two barrels of water onto the deck of the ship and as they did, the two men helping Sky pulled the gangplank up and slid it into the ship to store away, locking it in place with a loud clang and a firm lift of a clamp lock. Mashyuu clapped his hands together as if he had done hard work to get the barrel he had been floating up on the ship then set the barrel near the main mast. He reached into his pocket and pulled a pair of red tinted glasses from them and placed the glasses on his face then headed to the Captain's Quarters and changed into something far more casual. The Captain looked around and placed his hands on his hips. "Sky, status report!?" Sky sauntered up to Mashyuu and placed a hand on her cocked hip. "With these guys we will be ready in an hour or so, nothing to worry about Captain. Turns out these guys know their way around a ship."

Mashyuu gave Sky an approving nod then pointed up to the crow's nest. "Jarrett, when we take off, you're on Crow's Nest Duty! Make me proud." Jarrett nodded his head and looked to Mashyuu to confirm the Captain hadn't gotten a name mixed up with a different face. "You got it Captain!" The man wandered over to the mast and started to climb the rope ladder up to the Crow's Nest and picked up the spyglass that rested in the bucket space. Mashyuu walked past the two men working to get the ship in order and smiled at them. "Keep up the good work gent's. Sky says you're fine deckhands." Quickly he started to make his way down below deck to the med bay to check on Harley and the others and see if she needed help with anything.

"GET THAT AWAY FROM ME!" "It's just a needle, you have an infection that needs to be treated!" Mashyu heard the shouts as he entered the lower decks of the ship and started to rush towards the med bay. Quickly he jumped over a crate and pulled his arm, a magnetic force yanking the door open by the nob. Inside, Harley was trying to attempt shoving a needle into the arm of one of the men who was pulling back and freaking out about it. The others in the med bay were all laughing at their friend panicking over a small needle. "Look at that! He's been stabbed and shot but a needle is what makes him try to run from a small little woman!" Harley glared at the laughing men. The Captain leaned against the door frame of the room and lifted a brow sharply. "Sailor, if you're gonna be on this crew you need to trust my doctor. She isn't going to try and hurt you, she's here to make sure you stay healthy and safe." The man who was screaming looked at Mashyuu and took a few deep breaths and clenched the rail of the cot he was on.

Harley smiled at Mashyuu and mouthed the words -Thank You- to him while she pushed the needle into his arm and the man winced for only a moment. "See, you aren't hurt at all, it wasn't bad and you're gonna be just fine." The doctor slapped the man and gave him a wink. "Hey, Ben get a lolli-pop from her!" One of the men joked and the man apparently named Ben gave his friend the finger. "Well if that's all, you guys should go relieve your friends and then wash up for dinner before we set sail." Mashyuu ordered and the men took off to follow Mashyuu's orders. Harley wandered over to Mashyuu and started to chuckle at the Captain. "....This group is going to get along with us well." "Yeah, get used to them, they are gonna be the ship crew from now on I think. You and Sky are going to be their direct leaders." Harley gave the man a thumbs up and nodded. "Can do boss."

As the sun set, the women who had killed the deer slid plates of venison across the table in the mess hall, each cooked to a mid rare temp. On the side was a small pile of greens, a half potato and a bottle of amber colored beer. "So you're cooks too?" "The old Captain used to say that a woman was only good for cooking and sex, so he forced us to get good at cooking, we got good at killing because we were gonna kill him." One of the women chimed in while winking at Sky. Sky in turn licked her beer bottle and Mashyuu and Harley both blushed and looked down at the food they were served. "So... what did you do with the skin?" Jarrett asked. "The skin and the Antlers are in the forge, Harley told us that the Captain might be able to use them for something later." Mashyuu gave a thumbs up and started to eat the tender deer meat. His eyes rolled back and a smile crept over his face. "OH god! It's almost like eating Gideon's food!" He approved of the ladies hard work. "Mmm that's right, I should tell you, we are headed to Jaya to go pick up two more members of the crew. One is a Fishman, the other a Giant."

The others in the group all started to talk among themselves for a moment. "I told you! There's like six people in this crew!" "If you count me, there are nine. Used to be more but one was killed and the other, last I heard is in Impel Down. I don't think we are strong enough to cause a mass prison break of that level." Mashyuu admitted. "But I'm going to make sure that Dai and Gideon are safe." Mashyuu spoke with a resolute tone. The others raised their bottles. "To the Phantom Raiders, and a bold new start then!" Mashyuu, Harley, and Sky all raised their bottles and drank to the toast, one hour after the meal was over, the Skycleaver was headed towards Jaya...
