Taking a casual stroll down Alabasta, both Hawk and Nile walking down the street and heading straight for Rainbow Base Casino. Hawk kept his left hand inside his pocket, while keeping his right towards his glasses as he kept "fixing" them in place.

"Sir if I may advise you, try going for the lesser items this time around... the last auction we were invited to you nearly bought every item on the market."

Nile causally rolled his eyes at his advisor, hearing the same old same old as he sighed to himself.

"Alright but no promises!"

Hawk taking off his glasses and huffing onto the interior frames and wiping it down with a clean napkin.

"May I remind you sir that the V.I.P will be there and from what I hear, Envos isn't a man to be messed with. So please be on your best behavior."

The two afterwards just casually stayed silent and entering the casino which was closed off to the public for tonights auction. They were frisked and checked for weapons and other belongings that were not permitted within the casino. They took their seat at one of the many chairs around that section that was only for buyers.


Jaxs and White stood at the food session stands, Jaxs just had a red wine glass in hand, while White was munching on some food.

"Hehe, White must you always eat this much? We just had a big feast before coming here."

White ignored the comment and shifted his eyes towards Jaxs.

"Never mind that, you shouldn't be drinking, we got a job to do remember.."

Jaxs placed his hand to his forehead and shook his head in disbelief.

"Having one glass won't get me drunk."

White finished his meal and giving the plate to one of the waiters that were taking dirty plates from guest, he then pulled out a list of wanted posters from within his suit and tie uniform.

"Sire Puffer should be coming to this event. Well, that's what the rumors have said."

Jaxs placing his finger on his chin.

"That's right, he's the guy who blew up that casino last week. The thing is that we can't take him into custody.. along with any other criminal who comes in through those doors.. Remember, our mission is to make sure we are the ones who buys that devil fruit. We can't allow it to get into the hands of these criminals."


Max sat upright from his office chair and with his hands folded he turned away from his desk and looked at the large glass window frame in front of him and enjoyed the view of it.

Scar and Shades entering the room, Scar lighting up a cigarette and Shades folding his arms across his chest. Max turning his office chair back into position to align with the desk.

"Excellent, my two best men are here. We have a situation on our hands.. I have invited Sire Puffer to this event in order to officially make him one of us. If everything goes well, he will become my newest business partner. From the articles from what I read on him, he's a man that knows how to make a lot of money. Also he's a courages man that blew up one of our competitors and if he's on our side, we have nothing to worry about."

Scar removing his cigarette from his mouth and exhaling the smoke.

"Boss, I got word that two undercover marines have entered this establishment. Maybe they are plotting to arrest us?"

Shades chuckling at the thought and looked at Scar with a raised eyebrow.

"I doubt that, they wouldn't just send two agents to do an operation like this.  I believe they are here to arrest maybe Sire Puffer for what he had done just a week ago.."

Max rising to his feet and having both his arms to his back.

"Sire Puffer is a small time criminal. He isn't much compared to bigger pirates who have done worst. No, this is bigger than that, I believe both these under covers plan to buy the devil fruit that we are selling on the market.. After all, the less devil fruit that goes to pirates, the better the world is. but this is just my opinion.. I want you both to find out who these two under covers are. Make sure you pay attention to everyone that enters through those doors."



Mercury and Venus at the casino portion of the establishment and playing slots. Venus having her tongue sticking out as she hopes to win at least one straight row of 7's! Mercury sitting on the treasure chest that they had brought with them.

"Venus, you have been playing those slots for five minutes now.. and you only won like 3 times... You know these are rigged you know, just so you can spend more money... Lets just stop wasting time and go sell our loot?"

Venus sighing to herself in shame and looking at the few coins she has left to play more.

"You're right Mercury, We will get way more money by selling our loot instead!"

The both of them headed with the treasure chest to one of the representatives that is responsible to placing the items that they want on sale in the auction. After Mercury signing up various paperwork, she looks to Venus with a smile.

"We are going to make tons of money! Just you wait Venus!"

Venus looking over the loot that they had collected.

"You are right Mercury!"

The representative calling over two henchmen to take the loot in the back to where the other items are going to be offered for sale. The loot being taken and both of the women headed to the buyers section and looking at the stage.


Envos just entering the establishment of the casino, he had both his hands to his hips as he was excited to see what was going to be on sale. A dashing smirk and his fingers fighting each other as he couldn't wait for it to start. A few henchmen had approached him, signaling him to come with them. Following right behind them with both hands to his pocket, he was taken to a private room full of brokers.

They respectfully greeted him one after another, knowing who he was. Sire Puffer, who was in the bathroom of the casino, looking over himself in the mirror and being nervous. A constant washing of his hands and face while wearing his dark green suit, he was indeed nervous at the whole ordeal before him.

"Stay calm Leonardo.. we will impress those brokers..."

Wiping his hands and face with a brown disposable napkin, he walked over to the Broker's room that he was originally taken to but didn't enter it yet. Upon opening the door, he had respectfully greeted everyone he saw and came across. His eyes then had widen in almost a panic. He saw Envos standing by a few famous names right beside him. Puffer was indeed intimidated by this and drops of sweat came pouring from his face. He swallowed nervously and walked over to Envos and the others.

"Hello gentlemen, and Envos, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I have only heard the best about you."

Envos looked at Puffer when he had introduced himself to him. They both shook hands for three seconds and placed both arms to their respective side.

"Ah yes Sire Puffer, I have heard you have sold some of the most dangerous drugs during your youth time. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us tonight."

Just when things would look bored and dull with the mass crowd of individuals participating in this buying event, the announcer got on stage.

"Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, this event is hosted by Noble Maximillion. Now for those of you wanting to buy anything that we have here for auction, just raise your number up high. Once a buy is confirmed for said individual, they will be welcomed to the back of our establishment to claim their prize. I also want to remind those who are particularly interested in our devil fruit that we have for auction, to stay here during the whole event so you don't miss out on your chance to receive it."

Nile's mouth was watering at the fact that the auction was about to begin. Like a little kid waiting to get on a ride in a rollercoaster, he looked to his advisor with sparkles in his eyes.

"I'm ready to buy everything Hawk!"  

Hawk having a cheeky smirk on his face as he "fixes" his glasses in place.

"Sir may I remind you to settle down. We have other contenders as well."

The first item up for sale, was a rare telescope that was found in an abandoned wrecked ship. Though it appeared ordinary at first glance, but the engraved marks on it would say otherwise. It belonged to a famous and well known navigator who had sailed the seas for decades. Nile's eyes had widen at the item and after the numbers were rising up one after another, Nile got up from his chair.

"I offer 3,000,000."

The audience members had gasp, the previous set number was at 2,000,000. After three strikes were given, the item was sold to Nile. He cheered himself in joy as he sat back down at his chair.

"I'm so happy!"

Hawk awkwardly looked away from the eyes looking their way and whispered at Nile.

"Maybe you want to wait a while before doing it again.. You clearly offer more than what an item's worth.. this is why you are not like in every action sir... maybe tone it down a tad bit sir."

Nile casually folded his arms with a sigh of small frustration.

"Alright Hawk."



After consuming their meals and eyeing some of the individuals that had entered. They noticed the Sire Puffer had entered the establishment, then the two pink pirate ladies who were selling their loot to the auction. Finally, the man of the hour V.I.P had showed up and they paid close attention to him walking in. White looked at Jaxs as they were headed to their seats to the buying section.

"Stay on your toes Jaxs, we have to keep our eyes on them.."

White sitting down at his designated chair along with Jaxs and folded his arms across his chest while Jaxs sipped his wine.

"Yes I know White, and those two pink pirates' have a little bit higher of a bounty than Sire Puffer.."

The auction had begun and the first buyer had been shown. Jaxs casually looked to his partner, trying to I.D the man.

"White, let me see the wanted posters..."

White pulling out the papers and looking over it.

"There's no doubt in my mind. Those two are Nile and Hawks.. there bounties are far lower than Sire Puffer and the pink pirates... but those two are troublemakers from every auction they have gone too.."

Jaxs rising up from his chair and looking at White with a casual whisper.

"You stay here for the buy, i'm going to look around the place. If those two are here, its going to be extremely hell. I'm going to see if I can steal the devil fruit before anyone has a chance to notice that it's gone."

White pulling him down to his level.

"Are you out of your mind, its only two of us on this operation... We can't afford to split up like this..."

Jaxs placing his hand on White's shoulder.

"Trust me. My strength is more than enough to take down anyone here.."

White rolled his eyes and accepted the fact that his partner was going elsewhere.

"Fine, but if you blow this operation, its on you.."

Jaxs leaving the buyer's section and started to do his own investigation.


The three of them was at the balcony view point to where they could see the whole buyer section take place. Max sat on a throne like chair, with his bodyguards to his side.

"We have the best view in the house. Keep your eyes peeled..."

The first sale had gone down and Max took notice on who the buyer was.

"Hehehe.. excellent, there's a reason why I invited the both of them here... Nile is a man who just loves to spend. Even though he has caused many fights from it and virtually banned from all auctions in this region.. He's a man that will spend an absurd amount of money on almost anything... And since we have more than enough security in that section, theres no way in hell there will be a fight here..."

Scar looked at his boss with a smirk and then at two individuals who he noticed that one of them stood from their chair.

"Sir, take a look at that. Doesn't that seem odd to you."

Scar didn't even have to utter a word, for Max had already noticed the man was then sat back down by another. What appeared to be hush whispers, made Max's eyes squint in almost a worried type of expression.

"Scar, follow that man and don't lose him in your sights."

Scar rose up from his chair and walked out of the room. Shades continued to look at the auction go down.

"Sir If I may add, I just received word that Sire Puffer is about to propose his idea to the other Brokers. Do you want to attend that?"

Max calmly waved his arm to Shades, noting him that he was business paying attention to the auction.

"Shades, go for me in my absence. I have to make sure nothing happens here. Keep me posted."

Shades nodded and left the balcony area as well.


The both of them were in the ladies room, doing makeup and checking themselves out in the mirror. Venus was putting powder all over her face.

"Do you think we are going to meet any attractive guys here Mercury?"

Mercury giggled at the thought and washed her hands.

"Maybe who knows, after all that money we get from our sale. who would even care about men."

Venus rolled her eyes after putting on the makeup.

"All you care about is money. What about boys."

Venus walking out of the bathroom and seeing the first sale take place. After noticing the individual who bought it, she walked back to Mercury.

"We have a problem Captain."

Mercury looked at her direction in a bit of confusion.

"What is it Venus?"

Venus folded her arms in anger.

"Its that brat Nile and his advisor Hawk. Those two are nothing but trouble."

Mercury's eyes widen in anger.

"Aren't those two the ones that ruined the last auction we went too! No one wanted to buy our stuff because they caused a fight and broke everything!"

Venus placing both her hands in her pockets.

"What should we do boss?"

Mercury having a wide smirk on her face.

"Well, hehe, you did say you wanted an attractive man right? Bring him in here and we will kill him!"

Venus giggling with an excited facial expression.

"What an excellent idea! You can count on me boss!"


Sire Puffer had excused himself from the brokers and Envos, as he casually walked over to get himself a glass of whisky. He continued to sweat almost immediately. Just when he thought everything was fine and dandy, Envos got up on the platform and held the snail dial in hand.

"Hello everyone, my name is Envos, many of you know that I am a well accomplished businessman. I would like to invite to the stage, Sire Puffer, for he is about to join us in this underworld market business."

Sire Puffer's eyes almost came out of his head, this soon he thought? He swallowed nervously again and came to the stage with a changed facial expression of confidents. After going over what he was thinking about selling to the market. He inhaled real big and got on stage. The crowd started to respectfully clap as Sire Puffer was on stage. The door to the private broker room had opened, Shades had entered the room and began to watch Puffer start his speech. Sire Puffer looked to the crowd and began his idea.

"Hello everyone and thank you for having me at this fine event. As many as you know, I was in this business during my early 20s. I sold energy steroid pills on the market. Indeed it was a success and at one point surpassed the human trafficking business that many people were involved in. I however, decided to go with a different approached and made money off it.

Now that the energy steroid pills are out of business and the human trafficking business is slowly growing again. I have came up with a new idea. I am thinking about an invention that will help those combat the devil fruit users who have become a problem for brokers who don't have such power or strength to do so themselves.

My invention is a book bag you put on and once you activate it, you will be wearing a suit. That will be able to match those who use Haki and those who are regular devil fruit users."

After speaking, one of the brokers from the crowed responding to it.

"That's good in theory, but how do you suppose your invention would be able to surpass that of Haki and devil fruit users in power?"

Sire Puffer pointing to the man and placing his arm back in place.

"Good question my good man, see, I was in the business of selling illegal energy steroids for most of my career. Now with that being said, I could create a fluid, similar to the energy steroid pill, that will enhance the machine itself. Now the material I will be working with is one of the strongest money can buy.

But the fluid that will be used with it, once made of course, will be able to enhance that device and make the user be able to power scale to those who use Haki and devil fruit. The energy pills that I helped made and sold, had an affect on users before, but with this machine doing all the work, people who use this said device won't have those affects.."

The room started to grow quite and respective claps started to emerge one after another and walking off the stage after thanking them, he walked over to Envos section.

"Nice job Sire Puffer, you may just have a career in this business."

They shook hands once more and Puffer was excited at the thought of finally becoming a broker.

Nile was indeed excited about his first purchase and took Hawk's advice in having other contenders buy some of the products on stage. While he was caught up in his own little world. Hawk took notice of Venus sitting right next to him and eyeing him like he was her favorite desert. His eyebrow had been raised from curiosity for what she wanted exactly. Venus lightly tapped his shoulder gently and whispered to him.

"Your kinda cute."

Nile's eyes had widen in shock as he turned to the woman. He had never been this lucky when it came to women since he had always paid for their services. Nile drooled as he looked at this woman and responded back with a cheeky smile.

"Why thank you."

Venus whispering to his ear as she licked her lips.

"Why don't we go somewhere private."

Nile began to drip sweat from his face and turned to look at Hawk.

"Hey, you stay here and continue watching the auction. I'm going to be gone for a few minutes."

Hawk's eyes had squinted almost and his gut telling him that something was indeed off.

"But sir, what if you miss the devil fruit auction?"

Nile rising up to his feet with Venus.

"Oh I won't, it won't take long Hawk."

The two of them walked out of the buyers section and headed straight to the hallway on where the girl's bathroom was. Hawk watching the two of them leave and wanting to see where she was taking Nile, he casually followed them without being detected.

While this all took place, Max noticed the three of them leaving the buyers section. A raised eyebrow was given and Max dialing shades with his snail.

"I need you on watch duty. Nile, Hawk, and Venus are roaming. Make sure nothing goes wrong."

Max knew who he was inviting to these types of events and fairly knew about everyones backstory, whether it was big or small. The scenery had changed and Hawk noticed the two taking a corner and he hugged against the wall and peaked the corner to see where they were going. What seemed innocent about Venus and Nile entering the ladies room, turned quickly to a schemed plan as he noticed another woman blocking the door and placing a broom in place in a means to lock the door from the outside.

Hawk became suspicious and revealed himself to Mercury with his arms folded in an anger like fashion.

"What exactly are you both plotting miss? I know a good time isn't something that Nile is accustom too. I suggest you stepping aside miss."

Whipping out his cane in one hand and revealing a sword concealed underneath it, he was ready to fight Mercury if it meant trying to save Nile.
Mercury looked to the man and grinned at him as she pulled out her sword.

"Lets the love birds do what they wanted. I'm just keeping watch."

The encounter was briefly paused and Venus was holding onto Nile's hand and bringing him to the handicap stall.

"You know you are the first cute guy I see in this place."

They both had entered the stall and with one hand to her back, she held her knife with a strong grip. Nile noticed this sudden movement and wondered why she had one arm to her back.

"Thank you for noticing miss."

She reached in and tried to kiss him, while at the same time he kept his eyes peeled and while she was close to making a move, she revealed the knife in a means to stab him. He quickly had brushed her hand away and immediately kneed her in the stomach. Dropping the knife, the scene had briefly paused.


White was enjoying the buying section, seeing other people bidding was quite fun. He noticed a suspicious encounter going on that involved a woman he had recognize and the two gentlemen. He briefly noticed them leave and continued to do his main objective which was to stay focus on the auction event.

Shades was alerted from Max, to see what the pink pirates and Hawk and Nile's were up to. He briefly responded to Max with copy that and made his way to where they were. Walking down the hallway, he hugged the wall against a nearby corner and being able to see the back of Mercury and the front profile of Hawk, just what exactly was going on, as he noticed both weapons were being drawn. He decided to contact Scar for backup, wondering where he was in the mixed of all this.

Jaxs was performing his own separate investigation and hugging a nearby wall. He noticed Shades leaving a private room and heading elsewhere. Just behind Jaxs, was Scar who immediately pulled out his pistol from a fairly close distance and takin aim.

"Just what the hell are you doing roaming about like a suspicious criminal?"

Jaxs stopped hugging the wall and looked over the shoulder with his hands up.

"Oh, i'm not being suspicious at all.. theres two men over here pick locking a door.. I was going to alert one of you staff members about it.."

Scar's eyes had puzzled in confusion as he casual whispered to himself and walked towards Jaxs.

"Two men? pick-locking..."

Walking passed Jaxs and looking over the corner, he didn't see two men performing that deed at all, not even a single person was down the hallway. That is when Jaxs performed a straight right hook at the back of Scar's head and knocking him out with a single blow. Dropping to his knees and then to the ground, he briefly heard Shades speaking into it. Mentioning a suspicious activity going on. Jaxs grabbing the snail and hiding Scar's body in a nearby broom closet. Jaxs headed straight to where Shades had told Scar to go to.

This scene was briefly paused and Sire Puffer leaving the private room with Envos, as they both noticed Jaxs turning a corner and heading elsewhere. Both Envos and Sire Puffer headed to Envos' private quarters.

"You really did knock them off their feet Sire Puffer, theres no doubt in my mind that you will make it in this business."

Sire Puffer smiling at Envos and nodding in agreement.

"Thank you sir."

They both entering his private quarters for the evening and Sire Puffer was the first to enter and looking at the room in amazement. The door had been closed and the lock could be heard instantly. Sire Puffer briefly looked over the shoulder and Envos pulling out a pistol.

"I wasn't expecting you to be accepted into the underworld market.... I guess thats unfortunate.. But I have a job I must do. What you did to the Casino a week ago.. you left things unfinished, see, Mr Fix hired me to attend this event and to take you out. You have become a problem to those in power lately."

Sire Puffer dropping a sweat from the side of his face as he raised both hands to the air. Envos taking aim after speaking.

"So your doing Mr Fix's dirty work huh? Whats a famous man like you, doing grunt work like this?"

Envos briefly ignored his comment and Sire Puffer taking the hint that he was done talking as he quickly took in air and using one of his skills. his entire body had begun to expand and going from 5'5ft in height to 6'0ft. The bullet that Envos had fired, repelled back at him and injuring his knee. Dropping the gun, Puffer turning around and making a lunged forearm slash at Envos' face. The attack was immediately and another skillset was used, this time poison was now entering Envos body. Envos immediately noticing the affects and holding onto his chest.

"What did you use... did you poison me..."

Sire Puffer grinning at him with a wide smirk.

Nile looking at Venus holding her stomach in pain as she had just received a knee impact. Nile's eyes had widen as he finally realized who she was.

"Hey, I remember you.. I was the one who bought most of your items at another auction and caused a huge mess to where no one bought them..."

Venus reaching to the back of her high boots and pulling out a pocket knife.

"Oh so now you remember, you caused both me and my captain tons of money because of it...and for that you must pay!"

She attempted to lunged at him and this proofed to fail as he side stepped and at the same time turned his body and grabbing the back of her skull and bashing it against the tiled bathroom wall. This causing her to drop to the ground knocked out. He smiled and showing her a peace sign afterwards.

"Hehe, you should know who your opponents are... pirate..."

The scene with Nile and Venus was over, and the next segment was with both Hawk and Mercury, who were clashing their swords against one another. Hawk was indeed outmatched in strength as he fell to a kneel.

"You are quite strong, however..."

Hawk briefly moved to the side and evaded the attack, then countering it with a backstab to Mercury. Blood leaving her mouth, and then he tackled her to the ground afterwards and immediately ended the confrontation in an instant.

"Strength isn't everything, if you have speed on your side..."

Hawk rising to his feet afterwards and removing the broom from the bathroom door and Nile joining right beside him.

"I see, so your okay Nile. I guess she wasn't a match for you at all."

Nile having both his hands to the back of his head.

"Hehe, I can see she wasn't trouble for you either."

Just when the two were enjoying their victory, Shades revealed himself to the both of them with both his hands to his pockets.

"You two aren't going anywhere..."

They both looked at Shades, and the scene was briefly paused. White was now taking center stage as the devil fruit was being announced for auction. White placing the highest bid and winning the prize. The buying section was now over and White walking to the back of the room to claim his prize. Max taking notice of his buy and also heading to the back to meet with him.

Jaxs walking down a narrow hallway and seeing Shades turning a corner. Jaxs was going to follow him until he noticed Max briefly that was down the hallway and entering a private room. This peaked Jaxs' curiosity and he decided to take another way in order to get to him as he briefly heard Shades state two individuals who sounded like they were in trouble.

Max entering the backroom and meeting White as he waited for the devil fruit.
"Ah congratulations for your prize my good man!"

White nodding to the man and Max walking passed him and towards another door.

"Thank you."

Holding the door knob and opening the door for White.

"Right this way."

White nodding and walking passed Max into the room.

"But you know something, its rather strange that your invitation was rather strange. You aren't on any wanted posters that I know of, nor from many events I have hosted in the past or been to. Rather strange indeed. Its funny because I was informed of two undercover marines attending my auction."

Just before White could make a move, a gunshot was fired straight to his upper back. The bullet entering and stopping before it could reach the heart. Taking a brief kneel, he moved from his position and head butting Max's body instantly. The power was enough to blow him back and against the wall and knocking him out. Jaxs opening the door soon after and looking at Max's body.

"Now why am I not surprised that you decided to go out of your way to attack the host of the party."

White briefly sighing to him with his hand to his hip.

"He knows that we are undercover. Lets call backup units before this gets out of hand fast..."

The scenery was changed and Envos laid on his back in the room as his vision was becoming blurry.

"Sire Puffer, do you know how infamous you will be after they discover what you have done to me.."

Sire Puffer folding his arms across his chest.

"You started this, not me."

The camera that was watching them was immediately sliced in half. Sire Puffer looking behind his back and a figure coming out from the shadows. It was a man from Cipher pol that held a cane in one hand and a bird on his shoulder.

"No one will find out anything.."

Sire Puffer turning to look at the man.

"Just who are you?"

Two walking passed Puffer and stepping on the throat of Envos.

"I didn't come here for this auction. I came here because I have heard great things on what you have done. You are a former broker trying to become a broker once again. You also were famous for selling those energy pills two decades ago. Your speech was also quite impressive to say the least.

I'm from Cipher Pol and I would like to invite you to be a business partner with my group... You will work under us directly."

Sire Puffer looking at Two with a smirk.

"Hehe I have only briefly heard about you guys through prison... But if what you say is true. I will gladly work with you."

Envos was dead and Sire Puffer leaving the room as Two leaving through a window. While Sire Puffer walked down a hallway and closing the door rather suspiciously, both Jaxs and White taking notice. Puffer opening a nearby staircase door and leaving the scenery. The both of them took this as rather odd and entered the room he had just left. Discovering the body of Envos, they began to call reinforcements to make it here fast.

The scenery changing to both Nile and Hawk, placing Shades' body in a bathroom stall. Nile panting heavily as he wipes the sweat from his face.

"Did you really have to tackle him to the ground while I punched him... that was no fun Hawk.."

Hawk chuckled as he walked towards the exit to the bathroom.

"Lets get out of here Nile before we still can. We killed three people and hiding their bodies in this bathroom. We also missed the devil fruit prize... but that doesn't matter."

Nile folded his arms in disbelief.

"Damn it.. fine.."

They both leaving the scenery before chaos had further emerged. Both Jaxs and White soon discovering three more bodies in the girls bathroom. Jaxs looking to White with a sighed expression and the marines raiding the place.

"Looks like Puffer not only killed Envos, but also Mercury, Venus, and Shades... he's truly an evil man.."

White shaking his head without being surprised at all.

"Thats what prison turns people into.. killers.. Well at least we arrested Max and Scar..."
