Area Description
Bismark's Coil is a point of interest for many well informed individual's who journey the sea. It's an oddly perfectly hollowed out cavern of ice. The only entry way and exit of the cavern is shaped like a face to some, but an equal percentage of people also don't see a face in the landform.
Before the Red King, Bizar D. Raudi, entered the New World, this was his final stop in Paradise and where he laid his first First mate, Bismarck, to rest. Consequently, many pirates come here to not only pay homage to Bismarck a pirate worth respecting without mentioning the Red King, but for good luck on the next leg of their voyage. It's extremely dangerous to visit however. Not only do some crews linger around to raid unsuspecting crews, but the wildlife that inhabits the area are otherworldly due to the harsh environment, very feral, and unwelcoming to travelers. In addition to this, members of the Happo Navy and Chinjao family aren't welcoming to pirates, so they frequent this landmark for training and to gather resources for their military.
The cavern itself is a labyrinth and its projected that a straight shot to its inner most part requires a week worth of time. A straight shot is impossible however due to the following reasons. As the cavern descends lower and lower it gets colder and colder and actually dips below sea level at some point. With occasional breaches in the structure's composition, water enters the cavern then freezes and or drowns those inside it before or after encasing them in ice. These breaches that flood in sea water alter, erase, and create new pathways and is what makes the cavern a labyrinth that many die in before even reaching the halfway point.
It's a well known fact that Bismarck was a very intelligent man with a fortune that could last the greediest person multiple lifetimes. Legend has it, to show his devotion and love for Bismarck, Bizar D. Raudi spent a month wandering through the cavern with Bismarck's body and all his belongings to reach the deepest part and lay his ally to rest. That said, many believe his fortune resides at the deepest part of the cavern along with his body and a critically acclaimed weapon he made famous during his time as a pirate. This draws many who aren't even pirates to Bismarck's Coil to never be seen again.
