Dai remained upon the shoulder of the giant named Gideon. Along with the baby den den mushi he had given Gideon still on his shoulder he would take in the scenic view of Skypiea. Things were so small from where he was perched upon. He thought to himself 'so this is what a giants point of view on the world.' A grin slowly began to grow on his face as the giant store behind making there way to the upper yard. it was at first difficult for him to get used to the movement of the giant he nearly fell off his shoulder a few times but the giant was quick to catch dai.

It was a bit embarrassing at first but it made him feel kinda like a kid again. In a way, he was sort of being piggybacked to the location. Dai gently gripped down on the giant's shoulders. He was most surprised when he saw that there was a huge island like a source of land in this city in the clouds. He had never expected it, in fact, he was somewhat relieved.  His eyes widened at the large forest of trees that quite possibly dwarfed the giant. The smell in the air was rich with plants.

It was an unusual feeling he was glad to see land yet it uneased him slightly. He wondered how it had gotten up here and how long it had been up in Skypiea perhaps centuries. He was no archaeologist. He smirked as he took in the fresh scent of the trees and various other flowers and plants and exhaled slowly. Yuurei would be taking the lead on this mission and would more than likely be way ahead of them it was their job only to come to him if things got hairy for him.

He was feeling most anxious about this mission many things could go wrong. He could not ono he would not more to say lose another crew member.  He brought his attention to Gideon and cleared his throat to get the mans attention. "So Gideon we don't know much about each other know, do we? Perhaps we should rectify it while Yuurei is ahead gathering the intel he has his baby den den mushi so he will be able to contact us if things get hairy." Once again he took in a breath and spoke his somewhat nervousness apparent in his voice. "So whats your story Gideon why did you set out to sea?"

There was much humidity in this jungle he wiped his brow with his forearm as he remained perched on the giant's shoulder. He could hear the sound of various birds chirping and cawing in the air. He wondered what sort of animals could have survived up in this high altitude they must have quite the adaptive properties to them. He licked his lips and smacked his lips and reached to his side and grabbed a water bottled inside his black cloak with red clouds and slowly drank from it. He would, however, keep his attention on the giant's words if he so chooses to speak about his past if he so choose to speak or not.

Koneko had heard Gideon’s words and she knew from there on, she would be left. The good thing about it was that she would be able to change Gideon’s ship around. His ship was a small one, and he wanted her to change it into cooking station. She nodded with a smile on her face as she was all for doing this. She had forgotten about protecting the Charon now because she had a new project. The mink would go around to the people who were on the ship, and asked them for their help. She needed people to do what she wanted here.

As for Yuurei he had heard Gideon’s answer to his question, and he was planning on delivering this. He and Gideon would spar when they weren’t busy, which was going to be excited. He knew that he had to hold back, but he felt like it would be a waste against Gideon. Still, that was not the focus now. When they had walked over the bridge that led them to the Upper Yard, Yuurei had separated himself from the two men that were following him. He knew that he was going to have to go ahead for the time being. The weather was nice down where he was, and he could feel the rays of the sun beaming through parts of the trees. His movements were clearly near the trees as he was making his way towards the direction of the warehouses. While he was moving through the forest, he couldn’t feel the presence of anybody different.

He did feel the presence of animals moving around, but that was normal to him. He was on the clear with that, so he continued to move around without worry. The air around the forest cleaner than the air around the island. It was amazing and Yuurei inhaled the air he felt like he could get addicted. I wonder what we will find at this warehouse. It should be huge just like the other warehouse that are there. He thought about this while moving through the area. It wouldn’t take long for him to slow down on his pace, and it was because he was feeling the presence of a bunch of people nearby. His body had slouched and Yuurei’s knees bend as he was moving through the forest again. This time he used the trees, and brushes as covered, so that he wouldn’t be seen by anybody that could be looking in his direction.

His body moving slowly through the area as well as he didn’t want to make any unnecessary noises. It wasn’t just that, but when he got close to cracking a branch, he would come to a stop and moving over. There were no room for error, and he knew that; this was only the beginning, and he knew he would have to be careful throughout the area. When he was getting to the clearing of the area he could see only hope there was nobody in front of the clearing. His body moved towards a tree, and with that his chest was pressed against the tree. He slightly peaked his head out to see the clearing, and he could see a vast amount of warehouses. His eyes widen when he saw this because he didn’t remember there being this many. Still, there were people around.

There was a huge open space in the forest. In the open space there were about twenty warehouses stack next to each other with a small space separating each other. They were stacked up next to each other as there ten on one side, and then ten on the other side. These warehouses were big enough to allow the tallest of giants to enter as well. They were fascinating to see as they were all green and brown warehouses. He never got the reason these warehouses were placed in the Upper Yard, but he figured there were people who built them here to conduct illegal activities, or to preserve the beauty of Angel Island.

Yuurei figured that not all warehouses would be busy, but the one that he was specifically looking for would. His eyes scan the area in front of him, but before he did anything he took out the vision dial that Daimaru had given him. He was going to use this and he videotaped it with the dial. When he felt like he was safe, he would move towards the back of the first warehouse. His back would be pressed on the warehouse, and he would use his Observation to make sure there was nobody near him. He sighed as things were fine, but he wasn’t sure how long that would last. Don’t worry you got this. He reassured himself before he was ready to move. While he was behind a warehouse, he had used the dial to record the back of the area before it was time to move.

Back into the Upper Yard, Gideon found a sort of peace rather than being in town, given that he grew up walking upon soil rather than cloud. The birds chirped and the critters scurried. The humidity was enough for the giant to unzip his jacket. He then tightened his black bandanna, knowing that there will be trouble brewing ahead, as Daimaru explained, they just needed to wait in case Yuurei needed assistance, for the moment he walked the perimeter, avoiding the direction Yuurei had went off in.

At a certain point, Gideon had noticed a few charred dead trees. Though he doesn't recall the area well, he could guess this was probably the area he had faced off against the Upper Yard Devil; it was night he had made a friend and lost a friend the same night. He was lost in thought until Daimaru brought him back to reality trying to create conversation.

"Well I was born on Elbaf" Gideon was initially hesitant on talking about his past but ever since he had opened up to Yuurei, he had gotten more use to talking about his past, "Though my parents and I moved to a smaller unnamed island some way off" he ducked beneath a low branch a few times, moving in between cluster of trees. A few times he had caught Daimaru when he had ended up falling from his shoulder, "I enjoy cooking rather than anything too physical" which was considered odd for a giant, especially in the view point of other giants, they normally had a misogynistic view, which caused Gideon to keep away from others, "I wasn't much of a social being, kept to myself really" he began to wonder if that was the reason why his parents ended up moving to the smaller island.

"My family..." and there it was, the olive within the entire dish, and Gideon hated olives, "Were attacked by the marines... though I escaped" his voice had trailed off, trying to avoid eye contact with Daimaru, before it got too awkward, he turn the conversation towards the sharkman. "What about you, Dai-san? I've never seen a fishman before".

Indeed there were twenty warehouses that were visible in the small clearing of the forest however there was a hidden warehouse built underground. In the center of the cluster of warehouses four men with rifles stood an equal space apart from one another so they could keep their eyes on most of the area all at once. Above them on four separate buildings was a sniper that patrolled the roof of each warehouse so that everyone had backup in case of an emergency. To the untrained eye, it would be impossible to see the crack that ran in a cross shape between each guard who stood, almost without moving...

Underground, beneath the crack of the floor that the guards stood atop, a large well lit warehouse was busy with movement on the catwalks. Men in white suits carried and pushed crates with their bare hands and on dollies. The sound of the wheels squeaking and men grunting filled the stone and metal warehouse but was blocked by the roof over them. The Catwalks ran along the edges of the warehouse, each leading to a set of steps running down to the next set of catwalks that had doors built into the walls. This pattern continued down to the ground floor six floors down. There, in the center of the room was a large platform where ten guards stood, at the far corner of the platform was a switch on a metal rod to lift the platform and split the roof. Around the warehouse crates of metal and wood lined walls, only leaving openings when a hall was near by to allow people to come and go. Each of the warehouses above had a hidden way into the underground warehouse where the sword in question was being held by the leader of a Skypiean mob....

Dai would listen to Gideon speak remaining politely silent. He had heard tales of Elbaf. He wanted very much to visit the country of the giants one day. Perhaps he would get the chance to visit there one day on his voyage to the last island in the world Raftel. He clung to the giant's shoulder as he moved to duck a low hanging branch. the two would continue there walk through the forest it wasn't long before the forest was faded and cleared away and in the way where many different storerooms. He held up his hand for a moment and stared out as far as he could.

"Hold up Gideon pul back into the forest we don't want to ruin Yuurei's chances of slipping in unnoticed." He slowly licked his lips as he would stare out into the scenery about him. Making sure he would keep his balance with the sudden movements changes of Gideon in mind. he narrowed his eyes and let out a sigh as Gideon intrigued about his own past. He could have sworn he told him about it in the meeting they just had before they set off for the upper yard. He really didn't like to repeat himself but for the giant, he would make an exception this one time.

This was always a somewhat difficult story to talk about. Now he would have to tell it again. "My life on Fishman island was not extravagant or cushioned one. I was raised in the Fishman district and let's just say its area you don't want to be in at all if you can help it, but anyways the only thing that made it bearable where the three friends I had. So being nieve children that we were we set out for some adventure." His hand tightened and shook violently. "We had always been told to not go to the surface of sabody archipelago but we had grown bored of our setting and wanted to experience surface life for a moment. Then that's when we saw it for the first time an amusement park and well you know what happened to my friends after that if you remember they were taken away as slaves."

He paused for a moment taking a deep breath to calm himself. "Trained like crazy for the last two years in swordsmanship so I could go out and find them, well I found one but sadly that was the women who got her head blown off when we first met. I am never going to stop looking for my friends no that's no accurate they are my family my other family on Fishman island well that's a completely different story altogether perhaps ill tell you and Yuurei about it sometime." He sighed and cleared his throat nervously as he slowly began to unwrap the bandages around his chest with one hand. He was not going to be encumbered by them. He wondered what laid in store for Yuurei as he threw the bandages to the side and reached for the baby den den mushi that was next to him on Gideon's shoulder and picked up the receiver and called out to Yuureis receiver and whispered. "Yo Yuurei you're looking for warehouse 16 be careful in there man me and Gideon will be on standby if you need help give us a ring and we will be on our way." He removed his hand from the transmitters button so he could receive his reply back from Yuurei. everything was folding into place soon the final stages of the plan would come to fruition.

When the young man was about to make his move, he was able to take one step forward, and then he heard his den den mushi. He jumped as it scared the shit out of him, and he quickly picked up not really allowing it to ring, and he could hear Daimaru whispering through it. He sighed because this man needed to make sure that he didn’t do this again. ”I know, and do not call again. You almost gave me a heart attack. And what if I were already inside. I will call you when and if I need your help.” He hung up, and sighed because he needed to move now. The thief was able to move quickly through one warehouse, and towards the back of the other. When he did this, he poked his head out a bit to see through the gap between the two warehouse. He noticed that there was a man with a rifle in the middle of the area.

He placed his back on the warehouse as he didn’t want to be seen and he could feel the presence of the people who were about 50 meters around him. I wonder what those men are guarding. I want to find out, but my mission is to find warehouse 16 and see what is around there with the vision dial. He thought to himself as he would be able to feel the presence of people under him, on the rooftop, and the other three men, that were standing in the middle of the warehouses, if they were all in his radius of Observation. I also feel life underground, which is weird, or maybe there is a secret place. Maybe it is Warehouse 16, but how do I get there?” he thought to himself again. He figured the best thing he could do was make sure that warehouse 16 wasn’t one of the buildings above ground.

If it wasn’t above ground then he would have to guess that it was underground. Yuurei sighed as he stood where he was. He just realized that there was no way to tell the numbers of the warehouse from his position. That sucked, but he figured the warehouse with the most amount of people moving around would be it. The warehouse he was behind of, didn’t have any activity going about it, so he figured it was time to move to the next one. Yuurei scurried in a crouched position to the other warehouse as he quickly placed his back on the warehouse. The swordsman would close his eyes as he was trying to feel the people inside the warehouse, and it didn’t take long for him to open his eyes. There were some activities going on at this warehouse, but it wasn’t as much as what was going down below.

He wasn’t sure which one would be the best to go through, but he figured he would make his way through this warehouse first. Still, he had to make sure that if he were to create an opening from the back of this warehouse, he wouldn’t be detected. It wasn’t going to be a hard task, but he knew he had the right tools for it. The swordsman took out Benihime and Kusanagi, and waited for the people inside of the current warehouse he was behind walked away from his presence. He would know right then and there it would be the perfect opportunity to cut a hole on the wall for him to quickly enter. He didn’t want to make the hole too big, so that there would be a lot of light entering that area. He decided that the hole would be big enough, so he could crawl into it, and then hopefully there would be crate he could use to move it to block the hole.

Yuurei was already crouching as is, and he with that he felt the people inside of the warehouse moving in a direction that was opposite from him. He made the assumption that they were looking away at this point, and he cut a small part of the wall with his blades, and crawled inside of the warehouse. When he was fully inside of the place, he was quick to look around the area as he could see the crate that would be his savior. He grabbed it with his long arms and moved it to block the hole he made. When he was done with that, Yuurei would move behind some crates, and scan the area with his eyes. He was also using the vision dial to record everything he would see. Not sure what warehouse this is, but it seems to have a lot of activity within itself. Still, how would one get down to whatever is happening down below. he thought to himself as he was planning on moving soon.

Gideon continued his trek through the forest. At a certain point, he began to wonder whether or not he was going the right way. What brought him out of boredom was Daimaru calling for him to stop. They found themselves before storehouses, though Gideon pulled back into cover to avoid being spotted. What broke the initial silence was Daimaru's story to which the giant had nearly forgotten. He had felt bad that he had asked, practically making Dai repeat the traumatic story of his past, "I'm sorry, I didn't think" his voice trailed off, not knowing what exactly to say. He turned to see Daimaru removing his bandages.

The sharkman was preparing himself, as well as should Gideon; he pulled Jormungdandr from his back and began inspecting the giant's blade while Daimaru called Yuurei, a moment later, Yuurei replied seeming really irritated. He didn't give a position, although judging by what he said, Gideon guessed Yuurei hadn't entered the warehouse yet, but was still scoping the area. Gideon gave a look to Daimaru, a look of worry, but with a hint of faith, because he did have faith in his friend, but regardless, he felt a bit worried, wanting to be by his friend's side, assuring that they both return the ship in one piece, well one piece each being, now they were on a mission with three crewmates.

Daimaru was more of a concern, he was still recovery from injuries, but he dare not speak his thoughts because the sharkman had seniority over him and he was sure Daimaru was adamant about any decision he made, like Yuurei. For a moment, Gideon wondered how a confrontation would go between the two of them, not backing down from anyone, especially not one another.

Dai remained quiet as he waited for Yuurei to get back to him. However, he didn't have to wait long before Yuureis voice would respond from the baby den den mushi. Oh, how the man had chastised him it was hilarious but to be fair dai did deserve it. He smirked and nodded his head and placed the receiver back on the baby den den mushi. He was glad Yuurei was able to remember which warehouse they were looking for. He was just being careful any number of things could happen with this certain espionage type mission. He nervously flicked his bottom lip with his front teeth back and forth.

dai turned his attention back to Gideon however as the giant apologized. Dai gently patted the giant on his shoulder with his hand. "It's alright Gideon your forgiven. Now then let's change the subject shall we." He cleared his throat and looked about and saw a flower hanging from the tree within arms reach. Nature really was an amazing thing so resilient. He smirked as he saw a little bee decide to then go and pollinate it. A drop of sweat began to form off on the left side of dais head. He hated bees well not so much hated more like he was somewhat afraid of them.

He took a calming breath and cleared his throat once again. "Now then ahh yes I wanted to talk to you about a certain food I had heard about." He needed to keep his mind sharp and out of the thought of the flying stinger with wings that was so close to him. He kept repeating inside his head 'Your fine as long as you don't bother it.' "Have you ever heard of a soup that was so transparent that it appeared as if nothing was in the bowl at all, a soup so sublime it radiates an aurora borealis like effect."

Dai Had heard stories of this soup as a young man. It is supposedly a natural occurrence on a winter island somewhere in the new world. He so wanted to try it one day. His one friend Chiyo well, not a friend she was the women he fell in love with. However, he never told anyone about his true feelings for her. Oh, she was a beauty to behold he wondered if she would recognize him after all this time. He sighed as he felt a tear well up in his right eye and he quickly wiped it away.

She was the reason he wanted to try that soup, he wanted to be the one to find that soup and bring it to her one day. If only he could get a sample of the soup and have a master chef taste it he could possibly recreate it. He brought himself back from his world of machinations and plans slowly he turned and looked over at Gideon as best as he could. He remained still for a moment and rubbed the ack of his head somewhat unsure of what to do with himself. He reached to his left side and grabbed yubashiri by the sheath and lay on across his lap.

Yuurei could feel the people walking around the warehouse, so he stood hidden for the time being. He could feel their movements and when he felt them moving in the direction from before he knew that it was time to make a move. The thief would move through the warehouse through the shadow, and recording everything he was able to see. It wasn’t just that, but he also felt there must have been a way to gain access to whatever was happening down below. While he was moving through the shadow he felt a presence moving in his general direction, but from above. He stopped moving right then and there, and moved into a place to hide. He could only look above him, and see that there were two people who had approached each other. ”Why did we have to come to work today? I though today was our day off?” The man had asked.

”Yeah it is, but we have to do work today because of the visitors that arrived for what’s to happen. We need to make sure that we act like we’re working, so everyone thinks things are normal. Don’t worry about it you will be able to go home soon.” The man reassured his employee, which brought the two to separate and continue to work. The thief sighed because he thought he had somehow been spotted. He would have been upset as he didn’t want to fight anybody until he had gotten more information for the crew. Still, now that he was in the clear, he was going to be able to move again. Yuurei stood next to the walls as he was using the vision dial to look at everything around the place. I don’t see anything out of the ordinary. They did talk about a front, and something was happening, but what could it be? He thought to himself as he continued to move.

Yuurei noticed that the men who were moving back and forth were picking up crates and moving them around this whole time. They were actually working, or at least pretending that they were working. The pirate continued to move around the lower level though, and he felt no need to go up the second level of the warehouse. If he were going to find any hints, or clues to getting down there, then he would find it here on the first level. His body moved as he was crouching, and he slowly moved, so that he didn’t make any noises. He was going through the place examining everything around him. He didn’t find it boring, but he did find it necessary. Daimaru’s family might have been here, and even though the two clashed now and then, the man was family.

He better love me forever after this is over. he thought to himself as he continued moving. It wouldn’t take long for him to step on something. He could feel that the pressure was different from the rest of the floor, and it made him curious to try to figure what it was. He stepped back a few, but made sure he was covered by the crates around him. He looked at the floor as he crouched a little bit more, so his hand could touch the ground. Is this some form of trap door? Yuurei thought to himself and looked around to see if there was anything that would trigger an alarm if he forced it open. Yes, he had done things like this before, and getting through traps were something he was very familiar with. He didn’t think there would be, and soon enough he didn’t see anything that would yell out it’s a trap.

Yuurei knew he would be safe, but he figured he would say something to Daimaru before going forward. He looked around as his eyes moved back and forth as he wanted to make sure that nobody was close enough to hear him whisper. When he was in the clear, he took his den den mushi and called Daimaru. When the man picked up Yuurei would whispered to him. ”Please don’t say anything after I finish. I have found a way to what might be an underground warehouse. I’m going to check it, but I wanted to let you know where I was heading. This entrance is one of the warehouses that I’m in. It should have a hole on the back of it. So, if you don’t hear anything from me in twenty minutes, then I might be dead or captured.” He said this whispering to him, and soon enough he hung up.

Yuurei would slowly force the trap door open making sure that he would make as little noise as he possibly could. When he was able to open it all the way; he would be probably be surprised on what he saw, but he knew this wasn’t all for nothing.

Gideon had leaned Jormungandr against a nearby tree, although made sure it would be out of view from the direction of the warehouses, then he took a sat at the base of a very large tree. He didn't know how long he was expected to wait, but he figured in the mean time, he would relax until Yuurei called for backup, which he doubted he would ever need.

He was ready to close his eyes after some time until Daimaru spoke of a soup of unique quality, but judging by Dai's description, the soup didn't sound like it excisted, "Sorry to burst your bubble, Dai-san, but a soup that has that kind of effect on someone by taste needs to have some kind of color to it, what gives taste is the substances, spices, generally... things, which cannot make be made into liquid that can be transparent" at first Gideon seemed like he didn't believe in such a fairy tail, but after a quick thought, running through recipes he might have heard of, he questioned whether or not this dish actually existed, his curiosity showed itself through his expression, "Where did you hear this, Dai-san, maybe I can find out where this recipe is, if it exists" he had taken a serious look to his crewmate.

Then Yuurei's voice came out of Daimaru's den den mushi. It seems Yuurei is making progress, although the thought of going deeper into possible trouble seemed like a bad idea entirely, who was he to be able to stop him? The only thing he could do at the moment was wait for the right moment. Gideon then began to keep track of the trees, watching the shadows inch around it's projector. In 20 minutes, then Dai and him will go in guns blazing.[/color]

The door was pulled open by Yuurei, a small electrical circuit was broken, being hidden on the inside of the door, sending a silent alert to the man running the underground auction/warehouse. Below the trap door was a small metal ladder that ran down into a narrow and dark tunnel. The ladder was metal and bolted into the wall, a hidden camera near the ladder aimed up at the door recorded Yuurei and sent images of the man to the leader of the group underground.

At the base of the warehouse in a deep office a man in a white suit with dark hair pulled back into a ponytail sat in a large leather seat, adjusting his blue tie. He picked up a white hat and placed it on his head. Idly his left hand reached out and grasped a long object wrapped in a white cloth and tied with a set of rubber bands. His other hand went to a switch and sent a small hum of electricity through the iron bars of the ladder that was currently facing Yuurei. If he touched it the bars would send a massive shock through the mans body like a taser to knock the thief out.

If these Phantom Raiders decide to try and rob me. They have another thing coming. The man thought to himself while glancing at the door of his office. He cleared his throat and smiled while standing up. "Mr. Armstrong, we have a rat in our midst coming from warehouse sixteen. Please go clean up the mess. If it survives the fall down here lock it up and bring me its tools. Both it and its weapons will fetch a good price on the auctions today. Alert Quinn that we may have a slave he'd be interested in. I'm going to tell the men and women in the auction room that we are going to have a few last minute additions." The man in white strolled out of his mostly empty office leaving behind a large bald man with white wings, and dark skin who was dressed in a black suit. The man with wings nodded his head and let his eyes linger on the object wrapped in cloth for a moment then left the office as well. Armstrong wandered down a maze of halls until he stopped at a door labeled 16 and slowly pushed the door open...

Outside, in the forest that Gideon and Dai were talking in, four large canisters about the size of a foot ball each soared through the air and landed at the giants feet. A moment later a powerful gas exploded out of each canister and billowed a thick purple smoke. As it traveled up, from the warehouses with snipers on them, four gunshots rang out, each aimed at Gideon's shoulders to try and bring the large man down or at least slow him so that the knock out gas could take effect. Twenty meters away from the combat zone, ten Skypiean's waited with large spears in hand, wearing black suits and sunglasses, listening for the crash of a giant to move in and secure the pirates...

Dai remained atop Gideon's shoulder as he finished telling vaguely about the soup. Just as he was about to continue however Gideon began to speak. He merely remained silent and listened to Gideon's own contradictions about the existence of such a soup. Yes, it sounded like a fairy tale coming out from his own mouth. Hell, he had disbeliefs about it but when he saw the smile about it bring to Chiyo's face he couldn't help but believe in the fairy tale a bit. He wanted desperately to make her dream come true and give her that soup of legend. All just to have her smile once again once they would reunite.

His hands tightened somewhat angrily onto his sword his hands slowly shaking slightly as he let out an outburst of "You Don't know that!" he paused and regained his composure exhaling for a moment and inhaling. His hands ceasing there earlier trembling from anger. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout like that, its somewhat of a promise to my other friend the mermaid girl she believed in the existence of that soup, supposedly it exists somewhere in the new world on a frozen island in the old legends."

Pausing for a brief moment to fill his lungs with oxygen "But it is possible to achieve that level of transcendence in color of the soup, all you have to do is to constantly skim the top of the soup until all that's left is a delicious clear broth but what do I know I'm not a chef that's your department." He chuckled and cleared his throat. " Supposedly on the island there lies a frozen pillar within the pillar are the ingredients to the soup and every few years the cave in which it houses it the essence and liquid of the soup melt out, thus the creation of the legendary century soup."

He merely scratched the side of his head in a somewhat embarrassed manner."Apologies my friend I had a very very dear friend of mine tell me about this soup and I promised her we would someday eat it some say the celestial dragons dine upon it in luxury I wouldn't put it past them to steal every bit of soup they get their hands on." He exhaled and narrowed his eyes as he saw four large boulder-sized objects coming reigning down onto the floor. "What the hell was that?" He looked down and then he saw it a gaseous mist leaking from the objects that had been tossed at them with disdain and curiosity.

He quickly covered his mouth and looked towards Gideon. "Gideon kick those back out to the warehouses quickly before the gas hits your head don't breath any of it in!" This was bad really really bad for them. He quickly drew Yubashiri and then he heard it the sound of four distinct gunshots being fired at them. He deflected the two shots that were aiming at the shoulder he was on with the aid of his blade, however, the other two would more than likely hit Gideon. He growled He narrowed his eyes "This isn't good if they know we're here then they must know about Yuurei we got to get him out of there or warn him your call though Gideon but make it quick!." He inhaled with every last bit of spare space his lungs could intake before the gas would reach up to Gideon's shoulders and he held his breath. Seems like there espionage mission was a failure after all.

Yuurei closed his eyes and he couldn’t feel anybody close under him. His observation wasn’t picking up anybody’s presence that was close. He looked into the darkness, and he couldn’t see anything down below. He figured he would jump down, and hope for the best, but then at the same time he didn’t think it was a good idea. He didn’t want to leap to his death either, so he decided it was best to climb down the ladder. He reached for the ladder, and the moment he grabbed it one of his hands, he could feel the shock resonating through his left arm. The swordsman’s eyes widen and he looked like he became stiff. What he was able to do though was simple. Subconsciously, due to his mastery with his Haki, he was able to Armament his left arm, follow, by his torso, and his head. The shock would run through its course, but he would be able to let go of the ladder.

His body fell to the side of the trap door and he twitched a bit from the shock. It was surprising to feel that, his body made a small thumping noise, which he doubt anybody could hear it. It wasn’t there was nothing he could truly say out loud. He could only think to himself. That freaking hurt. Why the hell would they have that ladder surging with electricity? If someone used it from down below wouldn’t they be electrocuted as well? I must have triggered something when I opened the door. If that is the case, then the people who are running this place should know I’m here. He thought to himself. While he was on the floor he was trying to move his body, but only his legs and his right hand was able to move. He had let go before the electric surge would be able to reach every part of his body.

It bothered him that he was careless enough to miss something so simple. He was happy he didn’t go feet in first, but that would have been hard to do. Still, he knew he would have fallen if the ladder wasn’t positioned this way. Wait if they did this, that means they might know the whereabouts of Gideon, and Daimaru, or at least be alert of any extra people around the premises. I got to get up and warned the others through the den den. He thought to himself as he was trying to see if his body was stabilizing itself to normal. His left arm wouldn’t budge at the moment, and his head stood where it was. His only hope was to see if his lips would be the first thing to be able to move.

Yuurei tried to speak, and he could hear himself trying to resonate words out of his mouth. He wished he could smile, but he was happy that he at least had his verbal usage right now. He moved his right hand towards where his den den mushi was located and slowly took it out of his robe. He called his friends quickly, and hoped that they would be able to hear him. ”Guys…I th…th…think they… know we are he…here. I got…elec…elec…electrocuted. I’m…do…down for the time being.” He stuttered his words, but hoped that his message would get to his allies. He hung the mushi up, and slowly put away into his robe. At this moment Yuurei was beating himself up for this because as experienced as he was, he didn’t think something like this would happen to him.

5/20 Haki Armament and from Observation a few post ago.

Note: I'm assuming we using the new Haki, so I'll spend accordingly. Old Observation didn't use stamina unless you were predicting attacks. Its why I never use my Haki Stamina in my older topics, but I will now since I'm just guessing we using the new system.

Gideon was surprised by Daimaru's outburst. He had simply thought it was just a child's fable, but regardless of what it was, it seems that fable meant a lot to the sharkman. Giving it some thought, Gideon realized he was being too inconsiderate, he remembered that he himself had such thoughts and fantasies of legendary foods when he was a kid. As Daimaru explained what he knew of the legend of this soup, Gideon pulled out a notepad and pen and began scribbling down notes, if such a soup did indeed exist, then he had a duty to reach the New World and find this ingredient, for not only himself but Daimaru as well.

Four 'pops' drew Gideon's attention to his feet. He didn't register what they were until Daimaru pointed out the danger. Seeing the smoke, Gideon moved, though in the process, he felt something graze his right shoulder, so as a reaction he grabbed Daimaru in hand and tumbled to gain some distance, luckily for his size, he should have gain a good amount of distance away from the warehouse and for his years of handling kitchenware, he was cautious of Dai's blade.

Once the giant managed to gain his footing and some space between himself and the purplish gas, he took cover reached for Mjolgera in his fannypack with his right hand; given how he was still able to move with it, the pain in his shoulder was probably just a flesh-wound. The meat tenderizer in his right hand and Daimaru in his opened left hand, Gideon stood behind behind a large thick tree. They, or at least he was, at a disadvantage, he didn't know how many enemies there were, he didn't have time to see, he didn't have time to grab Jormungandr, which now the thirty foot tall blade still stood leaning against one of the trees by the expanding smoke, and because of the smoke, he couldn't get anywhere close to it until it dispersed.

Gideon wanted to call Yuurei as Daimaru suggested, but he didn't want to compromise the long-arm man's position, it was a dilemma until the baby den den mushi received Yuurei's call. Bad news, they all were found out, good news, they can respond back, or at least Dai can. "Contact Yu-" he stopped himself, there were enemies around and he knew using real names were going to be a problem, "Contact Ghost, and let him know our problem" He gripped Mjolgera tight in his right hand; every so often, he would quickly peek around the corner of the tree trunk to see if any enemies were coming and how far the smoke would spread.

Armstrong pushed the door of the room Yuurei laid in open and glanced down at the thief. His furry left brow lifted high and a grin played on his face. The large man strode closer to the long armed man and kicked his gut as hard as he could, a considerable amount of strength considering his size. The large bald man placed one foot on Yuurei's head, and put a massive amount of weight on the thief while bending down to pull the blades off his hip and toss them across the room. "Ughh Boss was right. Rat in the tunnels are no good. I'm gonna have some fun wit you little rat." Armstrong grunted while his lip jumped with a snarl. He stood up straight and pulled his foot off of Yuurei's head, only to pull it back and kick as hard as he could, sure to daze or knock Yuurei out with the force of the blow. He picked up Yuurei's blades with one arm, and grabbed the man by the hair with the other and dragged him out of the room... Ten minutes later Armstrong stepped into a large room with glass boxes of treasures from all over the world, mostly Skypiea. Weapons, pieces of art, valuable jewels and men and women in cages. Armstrong tossed Yuurei in a large bird like cage and locked it up tight. He placed Yuurei's blades in a case across the room and locked it too. Then wandered over to Yuurei. His large arm reached into the cage and smashed into Yuurei's face twice to keep him down. "The Dr. Will be with you shortly." Armstrong grumbled and stood at Yuurei's side, too stupid to report to his boss without being told to do so.

A bout five minutes later a man who was bald on the top of his head, and had grey hair sticking out to the side on each side of his head stepped into the room. He pushed a cart of medical supplies and kept his body hunched over the cart. He wore a large white coat over his black pants and white dress shirt. His black shoes clacked on the ground while he stepped closer to Yuurei. "His arm, I need his arm. Hurry up!" The old man croaked while filling a needle with a does of some strange green liquid drug. Armstrong snatched at Yuurei until he had a good grip on the mans arm and pulled it up and out for the Doctor to get to work. "Now little rat. This is going to keep you feeling good and tired too. Try to rest up, you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow." The Doctor chimed in while finding a vein in Yuurei's arm, ignoring any sound the thief might have made. Quickly he pushed the needle into Yuurei's arm and pressed the plunger, sending a warm drug through Yuurei's body...

Outside, Dai and Gideon were in a bad spot, the snipers managed to keep their eyes locked on the giant even while he rolled and waited for their shots. From the forest the men who waited for a signal the giant was down lobbed more gas randomly in the Pirate's directions, one landing right behind the pair, the other canisters going so wide they would never effect the Pirates. Blam! Blam! Blam! Blam!" Four more shots rang out the moment that Gideon looked out past the tree, three shots aimed right for Gideon's head, the last for his already injured shoulder!
