It had been the same day that he had rescued Emily, and now he was on the move again. He had heard the captive’s words in that building, and he could feel their pain. He didn’t want anybody to live like that, and it especially hurt him when he knew that they were forced to do this. He knew that going back would be for the best, and it was why he was heading there. He had already memorized his path to the place, but before that he had to do something. The outfit he was wearing screamed that he was one of the men from that building. The only thing that was different between him, and them was quite obvious, he didn’t have wings, and they did. At first it wasn’t something that they would have looked at, but now that they had been alerted, they would have been more eye on detail. The people around the streets also moved away from him, which meant they were a bit nervous of having him around.

He had been pacing himself as if he was looking around for something, but of course he was. The man had been looking for an alleyway where he could change without being disturb. Yuurei’s mouth would spread as he had a smile on his face. There was a dark path not too far from him, and he had walked towards that direction daring anybody to follow him as if he was a victim. When he got far enough, so that nobody could see him changing, he looked around to make sure he was alone, which he knew that. He had stripped off the black robe, and took out his white robe as he was putting it on. When he had done that, he could only smile onto how comfortable he felt wearing this. The black robe was a bit tight, but that was because the original owner of that robe wasn’t his size. He stretched a bit as he was loosening himself up before he left the alleyway.

When he was ready he took the black robe with him just in case he ever needed a disguise in the future. He had walked out of the alleyway a new man with his clothes as the people were a bit confused to why a man wearing a white robe would come out of the alleyway. Of course nobody would question it, but there would be people to think about it. ”Now to go check what they have done since they knew I escaped,” he said to himself out loud rather than a thought. Yuurei started moving again as he could see the people were enjoying their time even though there was something bad happening so close to them. His movements would come to an end though as he had seen the building, his body would stop at this moment he got close to it as he could feel the presence of a bunch of freaking guards around the front area. He could see that there were four guards instead of the two guards that were there before.

It wasn’t just that, but there were more people on the rooftop, and he didn’t even have to use his Observation to see this. There were men all over looking at the edge of the building looking in their own direction to the lower level. They were making sure that there were no suspicious looking people around the building. He didn’t know what to do, but he figured the best thing to do was to make sure that he looked for all his options before he even decided on doing anything. He figured he would have to act as normal as possible, and at the same time he decided that he would have to change his hairstyle as well. Instead, of the slick back hair he messed his hair up as he had decided that they didn’t see him like that, and would recognize him. He sighed as he wasn’t going to do anything stupid, and act like a natural human being. Yuurei would just walk with the crowd as if he was a normal person, but in reality he was looking around to see if there was any entrances that they had left untouched.

”If I can find a small window of entering this building, then it would be fun, and exciting to do,” he said to himself as he was following a group of crowd that was walking in the direction towards the building. There were about four to five guys walking with each other, and he was behind them, but close enough to hear them talk. He didn’t care about the conversation, but he had to act a way that made him look like he was a part of the crew. The men at the rooftop would catch an eye in the group walking by the window, but though nothing of it since they didn’t seem like they were interested in the building itself. While Yuurei was there though he was looking for an opening, but couldn’t find anything. There was no way he would be able to enter the building from this side, so he would have to head to the next area, and see if he would have any luck there.

While he was walking with the group, they had finally noticed that one of them didn’t belong. They looked at Yuurei with weird facial expressions, and he could only give them a huge smile. He didn’t make any hand gestures because he didn’t want the guys on the roof to see anything suspicious. Still, he needed to avert their attention to the front, so they could keep walking. ”Hey I know you don’t know me, but I’m hiding from my friend who is a nut case. If you guys could just keep walking and do what you were already then it would be much appreciated,” he said this with a huge on his face. They looked at him, and soon enough they looked at each other. He wasn’t doing anything bad to them, and he had asked them for some help, so they nodded as they were willing to help him. They had nodded as they didn’t say anything and turned their face forward, and kept walking through the streets.

When they got to the corner, however, they were going to go straight from there, which was something he needed them to do. They had gotten him this far, so he wasn’t complaining. ”Dude if whoever you are hiding from is that scary, then you should like change your hair. That usually throws them off,” one of the guys said to Yuurei before they continued moving along. The thief had walked off and towards a house that was not far off while he did that, he looked to the side as he noticed that there was indeed another entrance to the building, but that was also heavily guard. He moved his finger towards his mouth, and bit the nail because he didn’t want to do what he needed to do. Still, he had to pretend like that wasn’t what he was looking at, and he really did move to the house, and looked through the window to see what was inside of this place. What he had saw was a bunch of cups, and silverwares that were put on displayed for people to come in and buy.

He acted interested as he was nodding and looking side to side as if he were actually interested in what he had seen. ”Well at least their stuff is actually nice, I guess I will go tell Koneko that I found a good silverware shop for us to go shopping in,” he said this as he started walking off in the direction to his right. The guards at the front door didn’t pay him any attention, but that was because there were people moving around the area as well. He blended in with the people in the streets, which he was happy that he had changed his clothing a while back when he found out about his situation in Skypiea. When he got to the corner of the streets he decided that it was best to make his way back and see if this side would have a clearing. The entrance here was just as heavily guarded as the entrance from the other side.

Yuurei noticed that there were another group of people walking off in that direction, and he decided to following behind them. He would make his move and looked close enough to look like he was a part of their group, but far enough that they wouldn’t think he was up to something. While he was walking he could see that all the windows were close, but it wasn’t just that. The guards in the rooftop were all staying at their assigned location, and were making sure no intruder would get in without them noticing. He continued to move through the area as he sighed really low because there was nothing he could do about it. It didn’t take long for him to reach the corner of the building again, and he had gone through every side of the building. What he had concluded was that he wasn’t going to sneak into this building. There was no way he would be able to sneak in there, and that much he knew.

The swordsman would continue walking as he was walking away from the building. The guards looked at Yuurei confusingly as they had felt like they had seen this guy not too long ago. He was moving away from them, so they didn’t follow him because they figured he had to be lost or something. He was walking away because he was thinking about the structure of the building, and thinking back to see if there was anything he missed. There wasn’t though, and that much he knew; he stopped walking now and he slapped his cheeks at the same time as he was getting ready to do something he didn’t enjoy doing. If there was a chance to sneak in and get out he would have enjoyed that, but it wasn’t going to happen today. He turned around as he looked at the building that was straight ahead of him.

Yuurei had his normal pace of walking as he was heading straight towards the building now. The guards looked at the thief as they were wondering what he was doing. They had taken a defensive stance as they were getting ready to attack him if he got any closer. The people in the rooftop would see this as well, and would look down and wondered what was going to happen. They had moved their radio towards their face as they were getting ready to call out for backup in the radio. He could see the guards, and like before they all had wings on their backs, and they wore a generic black robe that was similar to his white robe. They had all come in various forms and sizes, which wasn’t something he cared about. What he noticed though was that they had carried different weapons with them as he knew how it felt to be comfortable with a certain type of weapon to use.

The pirate watched the four of them move their weapons towards him as they were warning him to stop walking towards them, but he wasn’t listening. He figured giving a grand entrance would be for the best. While he continued his walk his right hand had moved over to the hilt of one his blades. The guards would take note of this, and knew that he had no intention of taking their threat serious. They had all lunged towards him, and Yuurei had revealed a smirk on his face as he knew this was going to happen. He had watched them as he unsheathed his Benihime there movements slower than his own. He had clashed his sword with the men and pushed them back easily overpowering them. They stumbled back when they saw this, but their eyes was filled with determination as they were ready to continue the fight. He took his strides forward as he slashed diagonally downward at one of the guards taking him out with ease, the blade going through him with the force applied by the wielder.

When that happened, the young man would lift his arm up and move towards the next guard, and slash diagonally again, but this time going upward from lifting his arm. That guard would be cut down as the two guards that were remaining had started to tremble from fear that they would be next on this man’s list. They looked at each other, and then looked at Yuurei as they figured they would attack him. He had looked at the two as they rushed towards him, and he took his run towards them as well. When they got close they attempted to strike down at him, but he picked up his speed and rushed pass the two of them, but not before he swung his blade horizontally as he went for a cleaving attack. His blade would go through one of the guard, and then straight through the last remaining guard in the front of the building.

He left no man behind, and he wasn’t going to as they were all slavers in his eyes. They had hurt, and tortured so many people that he couldn’t forgive any of them. Yuurei looked up to the rooftop with a serious look and an immense killing aura that projected from him. The few that looked at him stepped back a bit as he had made them nervous. They were glad that he didn’t have wings, or he might have flown up to the rooftop. Still, they regain their composure as they had pointed crossbows at him, and attempted to shoot him down. The thief would smile at this and rushed zigzags towards the door. The men would shoot, but miss because of his way of running was different than usual.

It was an easy way in, but the guards at the rooftop had clicked on their radio. ”All guards started heading down the stairs. We have an unwanted guest. He might have been the man from earlier before. He is armed and dangerous, so please fight him as a group, and not alone. Stop him at all cost,” the guard announced to everybody that was in the building that wasn’t a slave, or captive. The guards all over the building started moving through the floors as they were equipping themselves with the right gear for the person they needed to take out. It was unfortunate, however, for the first floor as they couldn’t prepare themselves, and had to fight Yuurei with whatever equipment they had on hand. The thief moved through the floor as there were men rushing towards him, but he had easily cut them down with precision. The hallways were long, but wide enough for him to wield his blades. They were able to hold five men at width. Still, they heard the announcement, but couldn’t gather up as a group of five to take on Yuurei.

He had his way with the first level of men as he moved through the area, and anybody who had rushed towards him had met Benihime for the first, and last time. The blood of his foes were all over the walls, but he knew he wasn’t done because he could feel the presence of an enormous amount of guards heading to this level. There were people on this floor, and they moved towards their door to find out what was going on outside. They noticed that there was one single man in the hallways, and the guards that were usually around were all on the floor bleeding. Yuurei looked at the people that opened the door with a smile on his face. ”I’m glad you guys came out of your rooms. I’m here to free all of you from the grasp of these filthy people. If you guys wait in your room, and take in any of the other people that are innocent and come to the first floor. I don’t want you guys to try and escape the building, and then the men at the rooftop shoot you down,” he explained to them.

They were excited when they heard his words, and overjoyed that there was someone who had finally decided to do something. His words brought tears of joy to them, and they couldn’t speak from how happy they were, but had nodded to him as they were agreeing to his terms. They entered the room, but looked through the peephole to do what he asked of them to do. Yuurei turned his head as he started walking off towards the area where he remembered the staircases would be.

Yuurei would make his way through the hallways and anybody that he missed who were inside would open up, and he would tell them the same thing as he told majority of the people on this floor. He wanted to make sure that they knew they were being rescued. His movements would soon bring him in sigh of the staircase door, but there were a few people coming out of the room as well. His eyes widen as he was surprised that a lot of people were coming out from the staircase right now. He could feel the presence of their movements getting closer, but it was still surprising to see the amount of people to come out of the staircase. They looked at him, and they could tell with the sword in his hand that he was the unwanted guest. They would rushed him as he could see four of them making their way towards him.

He was able to block the first attack from the first guard, and sliced at him when he was able to parry the man’s attack. His body shifted to the second guard when the other man had dropped to the ground as he had done the same thing, but slashing at him in a different direction. He had fought scarier people than this, so when he saw these people they only surprised him because of how they came out of the door and nothing more. The third guard was coming straight at Yuurei, and the pirate had shoulder him on his chest before he could get do anything, and then cut his throat as the man grabbed his own neck and was trying to stop the bleed from his untimely death. The fourth guard once again was nervous about what he had saw, and being the last one to go after Yuurei he did. There were others behind him, so he knew they wouldn’t allow him to run anyways.

Yuurei didn’t give him a chance as he impaled him straight in the heart as he pushed him to the wall. When he did that others moved towards him, and the pirate had let go of his blade as he swung his foot around kicking the guard on the back of his head and had stumbling to the side of the wall. He was able to turn to the guards, and he pulled his sword out and slice the man who had been stumbling, and dropped him to the ground. He opened the door to the staircase, and started moving up the stairs now as he was making his way to the second level. There were people rushing down the stairs as they had tried to swing their weapons at him, but he would either dodge, or block the attacked, and followed it up with attack from his weapon, or tossed them off the railing, so they would fall to their death. It didn’t take long for him to make it to the second floor level, and he opened the door as he figured he would clear this area out.

He could hear and feel the footsteps of the guards running down the stairs, and even the hallways. He started moving through the hallways as he was knocking on the door, and moving to the next door before the other ones could open. When he got to the final door, he could see that there were guards making their way towards him. He would take one of the guards arm, and grab it, and twisted, so guards arm would be behind his back, and he would snap the man’s arm before he would trip to the floor, and stab him with Benihime, and quickly moved to the other guard. This would one try to attack Yuurei, but he was quick to break the man’s stick and clash his blade into his chase before he motioned downward to give him a slashing wound. He slashed his sword downward in the air as he had looked over to the doors that had opened.

”You guys are free, but I need to make sure that nobody is coming after any of you. I want you guys to go around this floor, and avoid the guards, but relay the message to everyone and run downstairs to the first floor, and make your way into the apartments of the people who lived there, and standby there until I come back for you all, please be careful,” the pirate said with a good heart. They nodded as they were surprised something like this was happening. They had closed the door behind them and rushed through the hallway to relay the man’s message. Yuurei was moving in the direction that the guards were coming from, and soon he was met with about ten of them that were in his way. He had noticed that two of them this time had guns, and shot at him. He had unsheathed his second blade, Kusanagi as he deflected the bullets to two of guards that were in front of him.

The guards were shocked on what he had done, but were angry at the same time. The men were reloading their guns again, while the other ones that didn’t have guns rushed over to Yuurei to attack him. ”No mercy,” he simply said crossed his forearms, and then spread them out, so that he would slash both of the guards that were in his sight. After that he thrusted his right foot into another guard, and he gasped for air. The pirate took advantage of this as he grabbed a hold of him the moment the two guards with the guns had pointed in his general direction. They fired, but he had grabbed the man allowing him to be the one who was shot instead of him. He let go of the man, and watched another guard take a swing at him. The thief weaved his attack by moving his face to the side, and he stepped back, and cut the man’s hand off before slashing him straight on his chest. He sighed as there were a lot of people in this building who needed to leave this world.

He looked at the five that were remaining right now. They were all getting ready to continue their attacks. It looked like the guys in the back were being protected by the guards who fought up close. That made sense as it would allow them to reload and shoot without having to worry. He had remembered this happening in Jaya Island, and at the time he did the best thing he could do at the time and it was runaway. It was different for him this time as he watched three of the guards making their way towards him. They had to buy time for the shooters as this would be their last chance to get Yuurei. The swordsman figured this out though, and he rushed over to the three guards with a smile on his face. He used the strength of his legs to jump over them, and he rushed over to the men with guns. ”Hate those weapons,” he said this with a serious look on his face.

Both men with guns were scared, and stepped back a little bit, but froze when they knew it was over for them. Their hands were occupied with reloading, and Yuurei took advantage of it. He turned his hands in a way that the blades would be facing to the ground, and then he slashed both of them separately with both his blades. The scream could be heard from the both of them as they had dropped to the ground. He turned around to look at the three men charging at him. He could only smile because they were trying to avenge their friends, which he found admirable. Still, they were scumbags to him, and they were all going to pay. He didn’t need to use all four of his blades to take these people out, and he chose not to. The first man lunged at him, but he used his long arms to divert the attack, and thrust his blade into the man and brought it down cutting him open, and then pulling the blade out.

The second man came right after the first one though. Yuurei had swung Benihime straight through the guard’s weapon and broke it. He didn’t stop there as he brought his blade back down and cut the man face. That cut his head into two, which instantly killed that person. The other person took a step forward, but Yuurei had stabbed his foot with Kusanagi. It stopped the man from attacking him, and instead scream in pain, but it also gave Yuurei time to swing his blade right across the man’s chest. He sighed as he looked forward because he had to go to the next floor. There were a lot of people that needed to know they were being rescued, but the amount of guards here were a lot for him. He knew he could take them out with one of his techniques, but he figured that it would also cause destruction to the building itself though.

”Once all of these slavers are dead, then these people will truly be free. I got to keep going,” he said this as he thrusted his foot straight at the door, which caused the door to slam straight open and cracking someone straight in the face. Yuurei could see that this guard had a broken nose, and his mouth was wide open. He also looked like he was in a daze, so Yuurei decided to take advantage of the situation. The swordsman took one swing with Benihime, which took the man’s head off in one go. He looked towards the staircase, and started running up the stairs again. Of course, though there were more people heading downstairs and he noticed that they were heading his way. Yuurei also noticed that there were men coming from down below to, which brought to his conclusion that there were multiple staircases in this building.

He moved to the side as one of the guards had jumped of the steps, and towards him. The guard had hit the wall with his face, and Yuurei thrusted his blade in the man’s back without him looking at him. The thief had clashed with one of the guards with his Kusanagi, but he had quickly kick the shin of the guard, which through him off balance, and it brought the guard to be met with Benihime straight through the bottom chin and out of top of his skull. Yuurei had pulled the blade out as the guard splattered blood everywhere, but managed to miss Yuurei. The pirate continued rushing up the stairs because he didn’t want the large crowd of guards to reach him from behind. It didn’t take long tough as he rushed into the third floor, but only to be met with a bunch of more guards. ”How many of you guys are there?” he asked as he didn’t really want an answer. ”It’s like you guys have a small militia in here,” rushed towards the two guards that were keeping guard on the floor.

They figured they would have to fight him, if he had made it here, but didn’t think it would happen. Yuurei had watched as one of them tried to poke him the face with a metal stick. He had seen this coming just because he was slow, and slight moved his head towards his right. The stick would pull a piece of his hair as it was that close, but Yuurei would return the favor by thrusted his blade into the man’s eye. It went straight through as he shouted when Yuurei did this, and the pirate quickly took his blade out. He could see the man no focus on the fight as he was moving around holding onto where he had a missing eye. The other man was about to run when he saw this, but Yuurei stuck his foot out, which brought him to trip on the floor. Yuurei had slashed and stabbed the both of them, so that they could be killed, and meet their maker. Still, now he was going to go do some knocking and more explanation on what he was doing here. He felt like he was one of those religious people who knocked on everyone’s door.

He was only on the third floor, and there was nobody who was strong enough to fight him. He figured that the boss of this operation would have had someone strong enough to take him on, but that wasn’t the case. It could have been that they were waiting for him at the top of the building. He could only imagine that was the case, but if it wasn’t then it would be an easy walk in the park. He knocked on a few more doors throughout the hall, and the people who opened looked scared to see him. They had gone through a lot, and that much he knew. He looked at one guy and he could see the bruising that were around his skin. He could only shake his head as he knew that these slavers were no good, but they were just horrible. He watched as one of the people by the doors were going to head back into their apartment. They already knew he wasn’t one of the slavers, but they didn’t know what he was doing here.

Yuurei stuck his hand out as if he was asking them to stop, but they didn’t see it, so he had to use words. ”Wait don’t go back inside! I’m here to free you guys. I’m going through all the floors of this place, and I plan on releasing you guys from your cage. I need your help though. I only ask that you guys go to the other people on this floor, and tell them that they are being freed, but they need to wait for me to get rid of all the slavers in this building. It is the only way any of you guys could escape without dying to any of the shooters waiting outside on the rooftop,” he took in more air. ”If you guys can make it to the first floor, the people there will open their doors for you. They are waiting for me to come back with the news that I took care of everyone here,” he explained. The one that was about to close the door had turned around with tears in their face. They had lost all hope, but Yuurei was able to reignite it.

The other people smiled and were excited to hear this. They had nothing to lose from this, and they figured they would put their faith in this man. The ones who opened the door to his knocking closed the door behind them as they had stood outside of the hallway. They did noticed in the distance that there were a few slavers on the floor dead. It only gave them more resolve that this man had a chance to free them all. Yuurei closed his eyes as he was feeling the direction of where the guards were coming from. When he opened his eyes he knew he would have to go back into that staircase, but he would be met with a large amount of people. ”Don’t enter the staircase there. I know there are other ones that can take you downstairs, so use them once you get out of everyone out of their homes,” he said this, and soon enough he walked off in the opposite direction he told them to go.

When he got towards the door to the staircase. There were a lot of men that were waiting for him there. He chuckled a bit as he figured this would be the case. Yuurei rushed towards the group of guards as they rushed towards him. This would lead to Yuurei dodging a few attacks from the guards that attacked him. He wasn’t using his Haki, and it was because he didn’t want to over use it before he got to any strong person. Still, there were a lot of people that had attacked him, and he was able to sustain a few cuts from the guard’s attacks. The attacks were nothing he would cry over, and knew it was a small price to pay to take them out. Yuurei would swing his blades around and slice down the guards that were in front of him. It wasn’t just that he would use his legs to break any of the guard’s legs when they got to close to him. There were large screams coming from the guards as Yuurei continued to lower the number of guards that stood in front of him.

When he finished fighting all of the guards there was a pile of dead bodies that were behind him. He sighed as he was only on the third floor, and he had to go through all of this. Still the path behind him was blocked from the bodies that fell on top of each other. He opened the door and noticed that there were more people running from downstairs. ”It must have been guards that got to the first floor, and expected me to be there. I guess they are making their way up here to see what floor I’m in,” he said this to himself as he started moving up the stairs. He noticed the shallow cuts he had suffered, but knew that they were nothing to what he had suffered before. The walk up these stairs were different than before. There were nobody to stop him from his ascend; he figured this was because they had met him all on the third floor.

When he got to the fourth floor he noticed that there were more guards that were waiting for him. They looked like they were expecting him. Yuurei wasn’t sure if they noticed what he was doing, but they looked like they were going to stop him from going any further. He sighed though as he knew that he would have to take them out and use some of his technique, so that he didn’t get carelessly injured. The guards looked at him and rushed over to him together. They kept using the same methods, but that was because they didn’t know the other guards had fail.

Yuurei would watch them run towards him, and he just stood his ground as he figured he would have to take care of them differently. He couldn’t afford to get carless wounds, so he started moving Kusanagi, and Benihime around quickly as he didn’t move his feet, and stood his ground. Soon enough the guards that were getting within Yuurei’s range were being cut up by his blades. A lot of guards were caught by this attack, and they didn’t have the chance to stop their movements before it was too late. There were a few that were able to do, and they were surprised to see their friends had been taken out. ”Who the hell is this guy?” one of the guards said out loud. They trembled with fear, and were surprised that he had made it to the fourth floor without being taken out. They wished that their boss was here, but he wasn’t. The pirate stopped moving his hands around because he could tell the rest of the guards wouldn’t come to him while he was doing that.

When he stopped doing that, his feet kicked off the ground as he was running straight towards the remaining guards that were in front of him. They didn’t have time react to his moves, and soon enough he was behind them. He had swiped his blades down to clear the blood of the steel, and soon each and every one of them drop to the floor as they were screaming from the pain they had suffered. The pirate nodded as things were going pretty well. He had taken out a lot of these guards, which also meant that he had a lot of blood in his hand. The pirate had done the same thing he did in the earlier floors here. He would knock on the door, and then explained to them the situation, and they would listen to him. The people would leave their home, and knock on the other doors to notify their neighbors of what was happening. Yuurei moved towards the door he had come from and he could see that there were a lot of people moving up the stairs.

They were closer to him than they were before as he figured that he was going to have to fight in the staircase again. He was okay with that because it put them in a disadvantage. They would come at him one at a time. The first couple of them would be met with the same tactic. Yuurei would parry their weapons onto the railing and kick their arm with enough force to break the arm before using his other sword to slice them, and killing them on the spot. The next group were met with their throats being cut open by Yuurei. Those were quick because once that happened they ignored him, and grabbed onto their neck to stop the inevitable happen. He continued moving up the stairs though, but he would have to stop a very seconds because there was someone trying to stop him. What Yuurei decided to do was clear the staircase was simple. He jumped off the railing and downward towards the guards. One of them were hit by his spin attack, but the real reason to why he did that was coming next.

A huge wind slash spiraled around him, and started cutting up and taking out those who were around him, and the guard he had caught with his blades. These guards had been lifted up in the air, and screaming for their lives as they could feel the wounds be inflicted from Yuurei’s attack. When it was over the guards dropped to the ground lifeless. He cleared the area around him for the time being. He could see the walls were badly damage because of his attack, but it was something he had to do. The pirate continued to move through the staircase though, and soon enough he had made his way towards the fifth floor. There was a presence of a guard here, and he moved towards the direction to meet up with them in the hallway. It didn’t take long, but Yuurei had noticed there was a big guy waiting for him. He had wings like the rest of them, but for some reason he looked stronger than the others.

Yuurei rushed towards the man, and swung his Kusanagi straight at him, but the man’s skin was rough, and he noticed that he had barely cut him. The guard noticed what had happen, and threw a punch straight into Yuurei’s stomach. The thief had stumbled back from the attack, and he was surprised by his durability. He lacked power in his attack though, but he had felt a bit of pain from the attack. The guard rushed towards Yuurei, but he was slow, which allowed Yuurei to dodge around, and slice the man. Benihime would do more damage than his Kusanagi as she would penetrate his skin, but it felt like it wasn’t enough. He wasn’t sure what this man was made of, but he was far durable than Yuurei, and he was sure of that. The guard swing his fist covered in brass knuckles, but wouldn’t be able to hit Yuurei again.

There was no time for him to spend here though, so he decided that he needed to end this quickly. Yuurei had covered Benihime in Armament and thrusted his blade into the man’s skull as it had worked perfectly. The guard was shocked that this happened, and stuttered on a word, but it never came out. Yuurei pulled his sword out of his head, and proceeded to do the same thing he had done on the previous floors. The innocent people had thanked him on this floor as they went around the hallways before going towards the staircase that they knew was safe. On Yuurei’s side he would go back to the staircase he came from to move onto the next floor.

When Yuurei entered the staircase he could feel the presence of the guards below him again. There were a few on the floors above him, but the ones below him were running up the stairs. He could come to the conclusion that they had gone through a different staircase in the beginning to try and cut him off, but had bad luck. He made his way up the stairs as he had a free path to it, and he wasn’t going to wait so it could disappear. When he got to the sixth floor, he opened the door, and noticed that there were two people lunging at him right away. His eyes widen when he seen this and he knew that he couldn’t allow them to get a good hit on him. He had activated his Observation Haki, and he could see where they were aiming at. He had used Benihime to break the sword of one of the men, and then parried the other attack with Kusanagi. He had sighed because they were being smart, and trying to take him out with any means.

Yuurei had gone towards the man with the weapon first as it looked like he was recovering from the stumbling that he was doing from the parry. When he got his balance the guard looked towards Yuurei to see the man already lunging towards him, and went for a thrust straight into the man’s heart. His eyes widen when he felt the blade pierce his heart, and he felt the pain, but he could also feel his body cooling down as his heart rate was slowing down too quickly. Yuurei pulled the blade out as he could feel the man’s pain, but turned to look at the guard that had a broken sword. The man was scared for his life, and he looked like he wanted to run away, and he had actually turned around to run, but Yuurei wouldn’t let him do that. He rushed towards the man sprinting as fast as he could. He swung Benihime as the beautiful sword had cut the man down without a second to spare.

He sighed as he was making sure that there was no survivors, through all of this. Still, there were nobody on this floor level, which was a good thing, and he knocked on a few doors to do the same thing he had done before. These people had a different reaction. They looked like they knew what was going on, and when he had arrived they were willingly to go do as he had asked them to do. The pirate was good with that and he didn’t have to do much convincing, but he made sure they knew where they had to go. Yuurei had made his way back to the staircase now. The guards were getting closer now, and they were about a level lower than he was. He sighed because he knew this was going to be annoying, so he would have to make a final stand against these guys. He ran up the stairs again as he was reaching the seventh floor of the building. He remembered looking at the building and seeing that it was about ten stories high.

When he got to this floor there was nobody waiting for him on this level, which brought him to sigh with relief that he wouldn’t have to fight here. He would be able to get some form of rest, and he had rushed to knock on the doors of the slaves that were in their apartment. The ones that came out of these apartments were all kids, and Yuurei sighed because he was going to have to make sure they understood what he was saying. ”Hey guys I’m friends with Emily. I rescued her, and I promised her I would get you all out of here. I’ve been running up the floors, and taking out the bad people, so they can no longer hurt you guys anymore. The adults on the lower level are making, or already made their way to the bottom level of this building. I need you guys to do the same thing, and go inside the apartments there,” he paused as they were all scared and nervous.

”I need you guys to go to the doors and get all of your friends to do the same thing. When you do that you guys take the staircase that isn’t this one,” he paused as he pointed off to the direction of the staircase he had come from. ”Please I want to make sure you guys make it out without getting hurt. The only way I can ensure that is if I take all the bad guys out, so don’t leave the building because there are bad people waiting for you on the rooftop,” he said everything in a kind voice as he was trying to have them understand where he was coming from. Still, these kids were tough, and they nodded and did what they were asked to do. He figured they had gone through a lot, but now he was about to go through a lot right now. He had taken out the other two blades now as he sighed and cracked his neck on both sides.

They were coming, and soon enough a large number of guards had arrived on the seventh floor. He sighed to see the amount of people here. He thought what he had to deal with on the third floor was a lot, but their numbers annoyed him. Still, he could see that they all gathered up here to take him on. It wasn’t just that, but he noticed that a few of them took flight and were aiming to shoot at him. This was nice to see that majority of them had made their appearance here. ”You will all die, and you will never get to hurt anybody ever again. I will take down whoever controls this as well, so just you wait,” he said as he gripped all four of his blades as things were about to go down.

The guards that looked at him were all focused on taking him out. They had allowed him to kill so much of their friends, and he had even made it to the seventh floor. They were surprised about this, and in a sense they were a bit nervous because this man had made it this far. Still, what made them more nervous was allowing him to make it to the their boss, allowing him to beat this stranger, and then they would be punished for allowing him to make it that far. They knew that they were going to have to take care of him now. Yuurei was hoping that these guys were the bulk of the guards that were left. He couldn’t continue to fight through all of these guards, and expect to fight any of the head guys of this operation. He sighed as he closed his eyes for a second and gun shots were fired without a second to waste.

He sidestep to his right, then to his left, then crouched down a little bit, and finally rolled forward to dodge the bullets that were making their way towards him. This would also bring a bunch of men forward to meet up with him. When he got into a position where he could stand up, he noticed that there were four men ready to swing their blades down at him. His eyes widen as he held out his blades to block these attacks. He didn’t have to use his armament, but that was because he felt like his weapons were strong enough to take the hits from these guys. He had pushed the men off of him, but when he did that there were more guys taking aim on him. His eyes widen when he saw this, and knew what he had to do. The bullets had come straight towards him, but he had simply covered his blades in armament, and sliced the bullets without having to dodge them.

This was crazy, but it didn’t stop there no, there were five more guys heading towards Yuurei, which brought his attention that it was time for him to go on the offense. He couldn’t allow this to continue, or they were going to exhaust his remaining fuel. There was only one thing he could, but he needed to get himself to the middle of the pack, and unleash his technique. It was the only way he could do that without having to continue slashing the large amount of people that were in front of him. Of course, he planned to minimize his wind slash, so that way it didn’t destroy anything that would cause danger to the innocent people waiting for his rescue. When the five guys attacked Yuurei, he had clashed his weapons with theirs, but was quick to sweep them, which brought them all to the ground. He jumped over the five, and now he had five guys behind him, and the rest of them in front of him.

There were more guys coming after him, and Yuurei would parry their attacks as he would slip by the next five guys, and so on. The bullets that headed towards him had been dodged this time, and two bullets had hit two of the guys that were behind him. The guards in the air looked upset that they hit their comrades. Still, he knew that they needed to continue to fight, or else they were screwed. It didn’t take long for Yuurei to get to what looked like the center of the group, and he had a smirk on his face. It was time to act, and he noticed that they were all rushing him from both direction now. He figured this would happen, and it was why he continued to move around until now. He rushed towards one of the guys that was running towards him. His speed, quick enough to surprised everyone, and to make it harder for the guys in the air to shoot him.

Yuurei had spun around with his blade and it had soon connected with three of the guys in front of him. They had dropped to the ground, but he had a smirk as two wind spiral slashes appeared catching the group around him. They were caught off guard by this and soon enough they were hit by the slash and were sliced by Yuurei’s attack. The group would dropped to the ground, and were taken out in one hit. He sighed as he stood straight to see that it had worked, and there were no longer any guards for him to fight on this level. He could feel some guards presence above him, but their number were two to three. It wouldn’t be hard for him now, but he remembered there was a rooftop filled with men that he needed to take care of. Yuurei walked over the body’s as he didn’t care for them, and soon enough he walked through the door, and up the staircase. He didn’t rush up the stairs like he had done in the past, which made sense since there weren’t anybody running up, or down the stairs to get him.

It didn’t take long to reach the eight floor, and when he did there were three guys waiting for him on this floor. They looked like felt it better to stay behind just in case everyone failed. He wasn’t sure why didn’t they just go help out their friends. He looked at them, and they were all smiling at him. ”I told you guys he would take them all out,” one of the guys said. ”Well then, if we take him out then we get rewarded greatly then,” the second guard said. Yuurei looked at them as they had seemed so confident in winning against him. He could only smile a bit as he shrugged it off, and wondered if they were any good at fighting. ”You guys sure are full of yourself. I’m happy to see that, the other ones were afraid of me,” he charged straight at them, and when he swung his blade they had dodged it.

He nodded as they were quick on their feet, but were they strong enough to take him out. One of the guards had swung his weapon at Yuurei, hitting him on his back, and having the young man stumbling forward. It hurt a little bit, and with that he knew they just had speed and nothing more. Still, he knew that if they continued to hit him then he would feel the bruising stacking up, and that would be bad for him. There was another one come straight at him, he aimed for Yuurei’s ribs. The thief allowed the guard to hit him, and it was because there was no way he could dodge it without getting hit from behind. He placed his arm over the guards weapon, so he couldn’t leave, and Yuurei stabbed him with two of his blades with his free hand. The guard was shocked to see this as he could feel his blood spreading outside of his body.

Yuurei had let go of the man’s weapon, and he allowed the man to drop on the floor as he looked at the two that were remaining here. The swordsman rushed towards them as he was trying to finish this quickly, but that wasn’t going to happen. Instead, the two guards had dodged Yuurei’s attack again, and had swung at him from behind. Yuurei couldn’t overuse his Haki, and he knew that from the prior fight with Dracon. He had gotten hit on his back again as he stumbled forward again. These guards looked different two, as they had scars on their face as if they had experience in fighting. They were utilizing their wings to move around faster than Yuurei could. He gained his balance and turned around to look at them as they were smiling at him. They didn’t go to attack him as they were waiting for him to come after them. He could see that they weren’t like the friend that had fallen because he got too ahead of himself.

Still, he was going to have to do something clever that would make them fall for his attack. He had an idea and wondered if it would work. He rushed towards the two men as he had slashed downward to attack them, but knew all too well he would miss. He had put power into his feet as his upper body was bending downward as well. The two guards would dodge Yuurei’s attack moving to his back, and were getting ready to attack, but noticed that the man was still on the offense. Their eyes widen when they noticed that Yuurei had done a flip as he used his to jump and used his downward slash attack to help out with the flip. They were close to attack, which meant Yuurei’s arms were good enough to hit them. His blades had caught both of the men while he was doing his front flip in the air as they were taken by surprised from the attack.

The swordsman landed on his feet and his back was still turned to them due to the flip. He sighed because it was something he had to do on the fly, and wasn’t sure if it would work. Still, he wasn’t going to complain about it, figured it would be interesting to master that attack. Now that those guards were done with, he had gone to the doors of this floor, and relayed the messages that he told the other people on previous floor. They nodded as they understood what all those commotions were for, and rushed down the stairs as a group. The pirate would make his way to the ninth floor, and would feel that there were no guards on this floor. He found it interesting, but he felt someone was waiting for him on the tenth in the hallways. He was sure it wasn’t any of the people he wanted to rescue, for they would be somewhere in their apartment, and not in the hallways. Still, Yuurei did his usual runabout in the area allowing the people from this floor’s apartment to make their way towards the lower levels. The pirate sighed as he leaned against the wall, and relaxed for a bit.

Yuurei could feel the toll of running up all these stairs and having to fight everybody that he had to come across. It was tiring, but he knew he wasn’t done with this place. There was one more floor that he had to free, and there was nothing that was going to stop him. Yuurei had to make sure that these people would be free from the horror that they were suffering. He was giving himself some time though before he had to go face whoever was in charge.

Yuurei could feel that he was able to keep going, and even if he couldn’t he would force himself to go onward. He was wiped the sweat that was on his forehead, and he had pushed himself off from the wall he was leaning on. He figured it was now or never and the faster he got this over with, then the faster he would be able to free these people. He walked up the stairs as he was biding his time from what was going to happen. He had to go through another fight, but he knew that this fight wasn’t going to be the same as the fights before. When he got to the top floor he had opened it up, and when he looked to his left he could see there was a single man waiting for him there. This man looked excited to see Yuurei as well as he could see it on his face, but it wasn’t just that, those red eyes of his made him look like more of threat.

The man had red medium length hair while he had a majority of his bangs covering the right side of his face. It wasn’t just that, but he had long chains connected to both of his wrist as if he was a prisoner. He wore the usual black robe the guards wore, but his wings were also black and his nails were painted. He wasn’t sure if he needed help, or if this guy was crazy and they had him chained up for a reason. ”Who are you?” he asked a bit worried about the question. The man licked his lips as he cracked his neck as he was surprised and disappointed of the men who couldn’t stop him from making it all the way here. ”I’m the second in command of this place, and I’m in charge of this building right now. You shouldn’t be here. You aren’t supposed to be here. If you don’t leave now you might die,” he said with a huge smile on his face.

”I’m not leaving after everything I did just to get here. Those people need to be free, and I’ve killed everyone in this building that is a horrible person,” Yuurei said to the mysterious person. ”I don’t think you understand how strong I am, but I can give you a chance. How about you join me and work under me. From what I can tell you are worth a hundred men or more. So how about you tell me your name and answer, and we can make this easier,” he looked at Yuurei waiting for him to say something. Still, before he could let the pirate speak he wanted to say his name first. ”My name is Aoi,” he said as he was sure Yuurei would take his offer. The pirate was confused on what was going on here. This guy gave him the creep, and it felt like he didn’t know what he wanted to do with Yuurei. Still, the pirate was a part of a crew already, and he wouldn’t join up with people who used people as slaves.

”The name is Yuurei, but I will not be accepting your offer. I have a team that is waiting for me. And I don’t like how you operate,” he said this to him, and the man laughed when he heard Yuurei refusing to join him. ”I guess I will make you submit to me, or you will die,” he said this too Yuurei, and he could tell he was serious with his words. Aoi had rushed towards Yuurei, and thrusted a kick at the pirate. The swordsman had blocked the kick with his arms, but Aoi had moved the chains that were connected on him on Yuurei’s arms. Aoi placed his leg back on the floor, and pulled Yuurei towards him quickly with the chain and head butted Yuurei. The both of their heads collided, and Yuurei could feel something wet on his forehead. He shook his head as he knew he was bleeding.

Still, Aoi was on the same boat, but it looked like enjoyed it. Yuurei had moved away dropping his arms to his side, and prepared to continue his fight. He didn’t expect that, but he could right there he wasn’t just anybody like the guards. The pirate had swung his right hand down at Aoi, but the man had avoided it, and he could feel the pressure that came from the attack. The winged-man could only blow air out of his mouth to be surprised on how strong this guy was. It didn’t take long for Aoi to throw a punch at Yuurei, but the pirate dodged it, and dragged his blade on the man’s chain trying to pull him down, so he could get a good hit on him. Aoi wouldn’t allow this as he felt his chain being tugged, which brought him to go down and under on Yuurei to allow his chain to be free, and with that he had thrown another punch towards Yuurei. This time he had gotten hit straight on his face, and he stumbled to his right. He sighed as he spat out some blood, and looked over to Aoi.

His way of fighting was annoying, but he had to take him out, or else these people wouldn’t be free. He licked his lips as Aoi looked at him waiting to see what he was going to do. The pirate rushed towards him again, and when he swung his left hand he could see that he dodged it again, but how he dodged it was annoying. He would do a small jump and use his wings to avoid the attack. Still, he wasn’t done as he had swung his right hand right after the left one had missed. Aoi noticed that, and smiled because this man was good indeed; Aoi had got cut on his chest, but it wasn’t deep enough to complain, or affect him in a bad way.

Aoi stumbled back a bit as he touched his wound, and looked at the man with a huge smile on his face. He had moved his hand to his mouth and licked the blood that came out of him while looking at Yuurei. He was ready for more, and he figured he would give Yuurei more of a show than what he had done before. The swordsman was getting ready because he knew that this man would be heading to strike him very soon. He did the little jump in the air from before, and closed the distance between the two of them with ease. Yuurei watched the man’s punch coming straight at him and he dodged it by sidestepping in the opposite direction from the attack. Yuurei was going to go for a counterattack now as he had swung his blades at Aoi, but something happened. Aoi missed, but he was quick to spin around and blocked the attacks with the chains connecting to his hands.

He sighed because this man was quick enough to react, and he was going to have to do that. He also noticed how durable the chain were, and he felt like he was going to have strengthen his blades to cut that thing. It was annoying as is already, but it would prove to make this fight harder, if he didn’t get rid of it. Aoi had watched Yuurei’s sword press against his weapon, and he acted on it. Aoi jumped over Yuurei and his chain pressed against his sword, and swung his arms around. The swordsman didn’t let go of his swords, so he was taken in for a ride. His legs had lifted in the air, and he was slam straight into the ground as Aoi had motioned his arms to bring over him and slam him. Yuurei hit the ground and gasp for air when that happened. This wasn’t enjoyable at all.

Still, he noticed that this guy was just strong, but didn’t have any of the latent abilities that was Haki. That was good for him, but the pain he felt from what just happened want. Aoi was over Yuurei now and he could smile and laugh a bit as he was throwing a punch straight on the back of Yuurei. He had rolled over to the side as he knew that the man might have been attacking him. That allowed him to avoid the attack, and Aoi hitting the ground that Yuurei was laying on. Aoi clenched his teeth when he did that, and picked up his hand and looked over to where Yuurei was. He was still on the floor as he looked like he was getting his air back before getting up from the ground. Aoi could only shake his head with a smile on his face as he couldn’t wait to make this man his bitch or kill him.

Yuurei was panting though as he didn’t like how this fight was fairing. The swordsman had rushed over to Aoi, and when he got close he thrusted his blades towards Aoi in the forms of punches, but the cheeky bastard was moving around dodging it until one of his thrust hit Aoi’s chain, and was pushed straight to the man’s chest. Aoi would move his chain around to bring the blade’s point to miss his vital. He could feel his skin being pierced, but the chain had stopped it from going into deep, which was good. However, it hurt still, which made him grunt a bit before he spun the chain, which caused Yuurei to rotate in the air. The thief caught himself from falling face first as he stopped himself from going around more than he would have. He landed on the ground, and when he looked at Aoi, the wing-man had made his way towards and over him.

Yuurei’s eyes widen when he noticed what was happening when he watched the chains making their way towards his neck. The pirate had moved his swords towards the incoming chains, and the two weapons collided against each other. Yuurei could feel Aoi trying his hardest to pull the weapon down to Yuurei neck, but the long arm was doing his best to make sure that didn’t happen. The two were playing tug war right now as Yuurei knew if he had let this happened, then he was done for. He would either have his neck snapped on, or he would have to surrender, or pass out. That was not something he wanted to allow happen, so he was doing his best to make sure that he wouldn’t get close to doing this. ”I got you where I want you Yuurei. Submit or face the consequences,” he said trying his hard to use his weight to overpower the man with swords. The thief on the other was upset he had allowed this to get close to even happening. ”No you don’t I will never yield. I’m much stronger than you think,” he said as he was slowly moving the chain away from his neck with his swords. It was also bring Aoi closer to his back, and he figured he would do something.

When he continued to pull the chain away from his neck it didn’t take long for Aoi’s back to press against Yuurei’s. The pirate had a smirk on his face that Aoi couldn’t see and he lifted the man up and swung him to the ground. Still, he never hit the ground as he used his wings to stop blow towards the ground to stop that from happening. Of course, Yuurei figured this would happen, and he swung his blades towards the man’s wings cutting them off, and causing Aoi to fall on the floor. The man’s screamed when he felt the pain of his wings coming off, and he looked over to Yuurei. His tears coming out of his eyes to what had happen to him just now. He didn’t spend time on the floor though, but you could see he was furious.

Yuurei
The anger that resonated through Aoi could be felt throughout the entire room. It was to the point where he felt like the aura that was emitting from him could cut through butter. Aoi had rushed over to towards Yuurei and he noticed that he had rushed towards him in a slower pace than before. Those wings were actually a problem, and he knew that much. Still, when he got close to Yuurei, their speed were the same now, but Yuurei had a slight advantage now. He had noticed his fist making his way towards him, but he was able to weave to his right to avoid getting hit, but then he noticed the chain was heading towards him. The difference between before and now was that the chain had become covered in black. Yuurei’s eyes widen when he saw this as he didn’t think Aoi had Armament. He was correct though the man didn’t have Armament, but he had activated through the trauma he had experienced just now. He was so surprised about that he had forgotten to block it through normal means, so he had to use his armament on his neck as Aoi jumped over him and then lifted him up to slam him on the ground.

Yuurei was surprised this was happening, and he had slammed on the ground again with more power than before. Yuurei had activated his Armament on his chest as well, so the impact didn’t hurt as much. He still gasp for air when the impact happened, and he was shocked that this happened. Shit what have I done? he thought to himself as he knew what Aoi would do, so he rolled around the first time he got. When he looked up, he noticed that the man was quick to throw a punch straight at him. Yuurei had covered himself with his weapons as he armament all his blades. Aoi had hit against the blades, and he was surprised that this man was able to do the same thing he was doing now. He felt pain from punch swords, but he was glad he didn’t lose his hand from that attack. The pirate was quick to bring his leg up, and kick Aoi straight on his forehead as the man didn’t see it coming. He had stumbled backwards when that happened, and Yuurei forced himself up to his feet as he turned to look at Aoi.

Now that he was on his feet, he could see that Aoi’s chain, and hands were covered in armament. This guy was really feeling a type of way, if he had activated such an ability in a dire time. Still, he had to use his Armament, which wasn’t part of the plan. Still, he coughed a bit and a bit of blood was shown to be on his lip. Yuurei wiped it off and this time he went on the offense. He moved quickly closing the gap between the two of them. He had swung his blades towards Aoi, but the man was using his chains to block the blades from hitting him. The thief had to admit he was planning on cutting through the chain to end this battle, but he was making this harder than it needed to be. Aoi was quick to parry Yuurei’s blades, and had gone straight for a punch right to the thief’s face. He had moved just in time to avoid the attack, but he had been cut right on his left cheek. It sucked his teeth when he felt the pain from it, and looked at Aoi who had a smile on his face.

The man was enjoying this fight it seemed, or he was just smiling because Yuurei looked upset with what he did to him. Either way Aoi’s plan to bring Yuurei under him was thrown out the window the moment he lost his wings. He wanted to torture this young man and make him regret what he had done to him. Aoi spun his chain around as he grabbed with both his hands, and it started swirling in the air really quickly. He rushed over towards Yuurei swing the chain, and Yuurei seeing this he jumped out of the way as Aoi had destroyed a good portion of the ground. That was scary, but he avoided it most of all because he didn’t think he would be able to stop the motion of the chain by blocking it. Still, when he landed on the ground he noticed that Aoi was still moving towards him as he was swinging the blade around. Yuurei continued to try his best to move and avoid the chain, and when it hit the ground he could see how strong the attack was. It didn’t take long for Yuurei to slip up, and he would regret not using his Observation.

Aoi had smacked Yuurei right across the face while he was trying to avoid the attack. The attack from Armament had brought the thief to tilt his face in the opposite direction, and a bunch of blood flying out of his face. Yuurei spun around, and he was panting because he was getting tired. He had fought a lot, the effect was getting to him. Still, he wasn’t going to allow that to happen again and he was planning on taking this man out before he learned how to do something else. He was getting ready to put his blades away, but Aoi was still moving towards him, and Yuurei jumped away from him as the man was moving towards him while he continued to do that. The thief knew he had to do something before he got smacked by that chain again, but first he needed to prepare himself for what he wanted to do. That meant Yuurei was going to run right now, and then end him when the time was right.

Yuurei had turned around now and he was running away from Aoi. The wingless man noticed this, and his eyes widen when he saw this because he wasn’t going to allow this man to get away. He started rushing towards the thief while continuing his attack with his chain. The thief had looked back to see Aoi was chasing him, and he shook his head as he was trying to prepare for what was to come. He was slowly putting his blades away as he didn’t want to mess up and accidently cut himself. ]”Now you are too scare to face me. Did I hit you too hard?” he asked Yuurei as he was chasing after him. Yuurei didn’t pay him any mind as he was concentrating and he had finally placed all his swords back into the scabbards. With that being done he slowly widen the gap between the two, and at this point it looked like they were playing a game of tag in the hallway.

The people in their apartment could hear the commotion that was going on outside, but were afraid to check what it was. They knew if it was bad they might get badly injured, so they mind their business. When Yuurei felt he was far enough from Aoi, and he turned to look at the man in front of him. He was still running towards him, and he could see the chain was still covered in Armament. The swordsman sighed as he was getting ready to take this man out. He quickly got into position and took his stance. His hand had quickly moved towards the hilt of Benihime, and with that Yuurei started rushing towards Aoi without any weapon out. Aoi was confused on what was going on, and he figured that this man was crazy, so he continued to move forward. It was that, and it was too late for him to stop running to assess the situation. When Yuurei got close to Aoi, or enough for his arms to reach him, he had unsheathed is blade giving it more power than it had before.

Benihime was revealed, and it was covered in Armament as the blade would connect with the chain, and it would be cut and broken without a problem. The two would turn around looking at each other, and Yuurei had Benihime sheathed again. Aoi started running towards Yuurei again, and the thief had done the same thing as he was going to end this now. Yuurei had watched Aoi throw a haymaker straight at him, but he would duck to dodge it, and he would unsheathed Benihime once again. The blade would strike against Aoi’s chest again, but this time doing more damage than before. Yuurei would bring his blade back into her scabbard, and he would sighed as when the guard hit the cover Aoi’s chest opened up, and blood started coming out from him. He turned around to look at the man to see if he was going to continue on with their fight, but the man dropped to his knees.

Yuurei was panting as he didn’t know what he was doing, but it was to the point where he was happy this fight was over with. ”The boss will be arriving soon Yuurei. You will know defeat Yu… he stopped talking as his body had gone limp and he fell to the floor completely. He was breathing heavily, but his job wasn’t finished. He started walking towards the doors that were around the floors. The people living there came out and were confused on who Yuurei was. He explained the situation one final time, and they listened to him. They were surprised that somebody wanted to rescue them, and they were overjoyed. The group of people on this floor had rushed down the stairs as were going to wait on the first level like he had asked them to. He leaned on the wall, and his body slid on it until he sat down on the ground. He was exhausted and there were more guards waiting for him on the rooftop.

Yuurei had to take them out, but it wasn’t just that; this guy had told him that his boss was on his way. The thief was going to either rest a bit, so he could fight this man, or he would have to rush right now and get rid of all those guards on the rooftop. It was a hard choice, but he was going to rest a bit before making his way to the rooftop. He didn’t want to chance it, and fight these guards just to be met with a man who was stronger than the guy he had just fought. He looked up to the ceiling and chuckled a bit. ”I guess this is what happens when you fight alone. I guess I should call for backup just in case,” he spoke to himself as he pulled out a baby den den mushi. He started calling his crewmates, so that they would know where he was. ”Hey guys. I’m in a building on Angel Island. The building is the only one with smoke coming out of it. If you guys can be around the area for standby to pick me up. Just in case,” he said this as he hung up after saying that.

The thief would put the den den away and just brush his hair back. ”This is what happens when you want to do the right thing. Emily is going to be happy to find out her friends have been rescused,” he was talking to himself, but at the same time he was resting for a bit.

Yuurei was sitting down on the floor as he was gathering his strength again. He wasn’t sure if their boss was on the rooftop already. The numbers didn’t change on that rooftop, but he couldn’t be too sure. Still, he just sat there for a few more minutes. There was nothing better than just resting, and he could only enjoy this for the time being. He had spoken to the people on his crew just in case anything stupid happened. He figured he had this covered, but fighting the way he was showed that he needed to do something about it. He had slowly got up from the floor though as he knew that he couldn’t keep the people downstairs waiting for too long. They probably would get nervous, and think something bad might have happened to him. He wouldn’t want to give them despair, so he figured it was time to finish the crap that he put himself into. He walked towards the doors with the staircase, and he opened it without hesitating.

He looked around, and sighed as he couldn’t believe that he had taken these guys out the way he did. The pirate walked up the stairs, which weren’t that much as he had bumped into a door. He was focused as he looked at the door. This was the end right here, and he needed to make sure there were no mistakes. Yuurei took his swords out again as he didn’t want to go out there unprepared. With all four blades in his hands, Yuurei picked up his right leg, and thrusted his foot into the door, and slamming it open. The guards on the rooftop turned around to see who it was coming out to the roof. Their eyes widen when they noticed that it was the man who had barged into the building to begin with. They all looked at each other as they were surprised to see that he made it to the rooftop. They couldn’t believe it because the only way he could have done that was if he had taken out Aoi.

They thought about this, and it made them lose the will to fight. They didn’t think they could take on Yuurei, but they knew they couldn’t run unless they wanted their boss to kill them himself. Yuurei looked at the guards here, and noticed that they all had guns, and crossbows as their weapon of choice. He figured that would be the case since they were on watch outside of the building. Yuurei didn’t have time to waste though, and he figured he would start things off with the men here. They were the reason why all these damn guards were after him to begin with. Yuurei rushed towards four out of the twelve that were on the roof. He had slashed up and down on all four of them. They were shocked to see that he was quick to attack. Their screams resonated through everyone that was on the rooftop. They all watched their comrades get cut down by Yuurei, which made them even more scare.

The eight that were remaining had taken out their weapon of choice, and aimed it at Yuurei. The thief noticed this, and knew this was going to happen the moment he stepped out here. He stood his ground as he sighed, and closed his eyes for a bit before he opened it up again. The men here were ready, and they started shooting towards Yuurei’s direction. The pirate was quick to start swinging his blades around as he was deflecting the bullets, and arrows that had been shot towards him. These projectiles were being sent in different direction, which meant that he endangered everyone on the rooftop. It was what he wanted, and a few three out of the eight guards were hit by one of the many bullets that were flying in the air. The rest of them had thrown themselves on the floor when they saw this happening.

They were trying to make sure that they didn’t get hit by anything, and they were indeed lucky. Still, Yuurei wasn’t done just yet as he was making sure that he cleared the building from the slavers. He jogged at first, which soon became a sprint, as he got to the first guard. Yuurei stabbed his blades into the stomach of the guard, and then pulled his arm back, and rushed over to the next guard. This guard tried to pistol whip Yuurei when he got close, but the thief had dodged that without much effort. Yuurei had slashed this guard twice, and the wounds were deep enough to take him out. There were two of the guards trying to reload as quickly as he could, and Yuurei rushed to the both of them, and without a second of hesitation stabbed both of them with his hands, and then lifted them in the air, and tossed them away from him. The pirate was quick to look at the last remaining guard, and that man looked nervous as hell.

He was the last remaining guard in this building, and he was stuck with a demon right now. Yuurei walked towards him as the guard dropped to his knees, and was pleading for his life. The pirate could only look around as the man continued to beg for his life. ”I’m the wrong person you should be pleading to. You messed up the life of many people, and you will suffer the same faith as your comrades,” Yuurei said as the man looked into his eyes, and with that Yuurei sliced his head off. Yuurei was done with the fight, and what he noticed was that the boss didn’t show up, or so he though. He was too happy that he didn’t sense what approached him. Someone had flown straight at him punched him squared in stomach. It brought Yuurei to drop to his knees, and cough out saliva, and a bit of blood as the person who did this landed on the rooftop.
