It was early morning in Alabasta Kingdom that was proven true by the lack of sunlight in the sky and surely anyone wouldn't want to be awake at that time of day, except the marine's of course.

It had been a month and ten days since Caspian joined the marine's and was put under the watchful eye of Pathos a very capable marine, during that month Caspian was exposed to countless drills and encounter's against low level criminal activity all around Nanohana city. It was due to this experience and training that he quickly rose to being a Master Chief Petty Officer in rank, but to Caspian he wanted more experience to become even better than he was now.

So while the city of Nanohana slept Caspian had been outside training for what was already two hours on the  marine running course training his speed and agility, the life of a marine was hard and to keep up and make sure you dont get sprayed by tons of bullets you had to be fast and ready to move. By the time Caspian was done running and taking a drink of water a marine officer had run up to him and gave a clean salute before saying "Greetings Master Chief PO Caspian Sir!"

Caspian finished drinking his water and wiped the sweat of his face before looking over at the soldier "You have my attention soldier, whats the situation?"

The marine officer than put down his hand to stop salute but kept his posture straight"Sir, you are wanted by Pathos for a morning training session!"

Physically Caspian nodded and said "Okay, tell him ill be there in seven minutes" but internally Caspian was thinking "Oh man, Pathos is always the most energetic in the morning and im sure today will be no different" Caspian not noticing the marine was still there took a heavy sign before realizing and immediately said "Your excused marine!!" with his piercing eyes accidentally scaring the marine off as he begun to walk away in quick paste.

After five minutes had passed Caspian had put on his marine uniform, when he first started he had to wear the basic marine hat and uniform but with his new rank he now wore civilian clothes that consisted of a black and white jacket with the words marine stitched into it's back alongside with gray colored sweatpants and simple black boots finished off with his marine hat.

Caspian immediately headed to the training area where he was to meet Pathos and as he entered the door he was quickly struck with a punch to the face causing him to roll back as he held his face in pain for a second before yelling "WHAT WAS THAT FOR YOU STU-! Caspian was almost struck again as Pathos was in the air and aimed to stomp down on him but he quickly rolled out the way and did a back flip onto his feet as Pathos crashed into the ground leaving a dent on the earth underneath his feet.

Pathos then looked at Caspian angrily "Your late!!! Training started a hour ago, you evil eyed brat!!! in which Caspian answered "You just called for me less than five minute's ago!!!

Pathos calmed down rather quickly to Caspian's suprise making him a little worried "Shut up and listen you brat! We dont have alot of time so im gonna have to make this quick explanation, in nearly a month month from now your be called for your first real battle against a small group of pirate's but your so unprepared your probably die with that evil glare on your face.

Caspian then got a little angry at his words as he thought "Go to hell Pathos!" but Pathos continued on and asked Caspian a question "Tell me have you heard what they use to call me in my prime? Caspian simply nodded his head no as he couldn't recall ever hearing Pathos be called by a nickname in the marine's.

Pathos then answered his own question "They called me Sound Fist Pathos!! and i"ll be teaching you my secret style!!

Caspian's Outfit:

Caspian looks at Pathos with awe before chuckling and begins to say"Sir i know your strong but you d-!!!" before Caspian even finished his sentence Pathos had dashed to the point that Caspian couldn't keep up and punched the wall, Caspian slowly turns his head to the wall to see it doesn't even have a dent on it"For a second you had me wor-" Once again Caspian was interrupted as the placed on the wall where Pathos had punch'ed suddenly shattered revealing the other side of it.

Caspian stood there shocked once more but for a entirely different reason, he know Pathos was powerful but not so much that he could destroy the wall with a single punch.  There was sweat dripping of his forehead but it wasn't fear it was excitement and Caspian quickly saluted "Master Chief PO Caspian Towls reporting for training,Sir!!"

Over the next three weeks  Pathos explained the process of his style stating that it was a application of a technique called hasshoken that involved the use of shock wave's,  Caspian and Pathos  spent nearly everyday training  for Caspian to get the basics.

By the time Pathos asked Caspian too see the result of his three week training he was able to make a small dent on the wall from his shock-wave but that was as far as he could do right now due to his own strength limiting him, Pathos then made that wheezing laught before speaking"Good! Atleast now i can say you wont die a quick death to pirate's.

Caspian thought once more "Go to hell Pathos!! before he actually said "Thank you sir, for the last three weeks" while bowing his head in respect. Just as he finished two marine's had appeared near the entrance and said "Master Chief PO Caspian Towls, your needed for a assignment come with us

Caspian turned too look at Pathos which he returned with a simple nod as Caspian went to go follow the two marine's,Caspian didn't know what mission would await him but with his new training he felt confident he could do it.


Once the two marine's lead Caspian to the briefing room they had stopped at the door and motioned him to enter, Caspian then pushed the door's opening and was greeted with the sight of many different marine's of various ranks in one room.

Caspian stood near the front where those similar to his own rank where standing, a couple of minutes passed and two marine's who simply expelled strength from there presence walked in and turned to all the marine's in the room. he straightened his tie before speaking "Good evening fellow marines, today i will be briefing you on today's mission. Our target for this mission? It's a small pirate crew that has located themselves in the plains of the alabasta desert for refuge, your mission? Is to capture them since they may be holding valuable information. But do not underestimate them, they may be small crew but with all the Devil fruits and abilities on the grand line nobody is exactly weak, I wish you the best and remember...FOR JUSTICE!!"

With the marine's final words he left the room as the officers around Caspian cheered for his speech, but Caspian knew that a couple or more soldiers that surrounded him may not be returning. His fellow marine's quickly started preparing themselves by grabbing all type's of weapons from axes,swords,guns, mini cannon fire but Caspian himself grabbed no weapon, he believed that if he were to send a man or women to their fate's he would at least do it with his own fists. Now that each soldier was equipped it was time to move out as a unit and apprehend the criminal pirate's




Caspian was near the front of the  marine unit as he was one of the higher ranking officer's working this mission, it had been nearly a half a hour since they moved out on the pirate's location. A even higher ranking officer had the unit split to surround the enemy on all side's to guarantee little escape for their small pirate crew, Caspian and two other marine's known as Terrance and Necoc were chosen as the marine's that would be dealing with the stronger members of the pirate crew.

Once everyone was in position Caspian and the two other marine's walked closer confronting the group face to face as Necoc took out a megaphone and spoke clearly "You are now surrounded by the forces of the World Government Marine's, Surrender peacefully or be apprehended by force.!!"

After a few minutes of silence the answer was clear and a commanding officer queued for the main officers to go in and Caspian and his fellow marine's ,moved in and were soon meant with the face's of three pirate's

Caspian knew what the information said, and it seemed to be accurate as the trio that stood before them that only made up three out of fourteen of their crew seemed quiet tough. Caspian specifically stared at the axe user while the other two marine's had picked their targets, after staring in silence the other two had chatted away and chose to fight somewhere else as Caspian finally asked a question "What's your name?

The pirate raised a eyebrow "Not that it matters but it's Yaki, why does it matter to you?

Caspian replied "I simply would like to know the name of the man im about to send to prison, thats all.

Yaki then laughed before saying through his ragged breath "You seem over confident today, your a little to scrawny to be trying to compete with me! the pirate then smashes his axe onto the ground cracking it under his strength.

Caspian than answered "I could say the same for you Caspian than assumed his battle stance.

Yaki had charged first and once he got closer he raises his axe in the air with two hands about to do a overhead swing to cleave Caspian in two, Caspian reacted by rolling forward getting behind him at a faster speed then the axe user was currently moving as he landed on the ground. Caspian quickly rushed back at him going even faster and did a front punch that sent Yaki to the ground but he wasn't able to get him to let go of the axe.

Yaki laughed as he got up, "Your a pretty speedy guy but i felt harder punch's from the female's i dated, you might as well give up you don't really stand a chance with me"

Caspian looked towards the man as he tightened the hat on his head and gazed at him with intense eye's, "Yeah, im pretty weak still. But you know what? I can still beat someone like you who think's all it take's to win is blind strength, Prepare yourself"

It was evident by the pirate's confusion that Caspian's words had a effect on him as he looked dazed in which Caspian took the opportunity to dash at him at nearly full speed before landing a karate chop to his temple and then does a furious spinning kick to the pirate's left rib only intensifying the dazed state of the pirate before he did a double flip backwards to put some distance between the two.

Yaki quickly regained his senses as his breathing was irregular but then he started laughing "I guess i underestimated you, your still scrawny but i should still show you who's boss!!

The axe user then spins his axe in the air and smash's it down cracking the earth underneath Caspian as he jumped to the left to avoid the attack, however it was a distraction as Yaki was now in front of him about to swing from his left to his right to slash Caspian. There wasn't much he could do so Caspian blocked the axe as it cut his arms leaving a gash mark that formed a creaked line on them as he was sent flying quite a ways back.

Yaki then makes his way towards Caspian "What were you saying earlier? something about preparing myself? it looks like you were the one that was unprepared." Caspian then flips back up on his feet as he flicks the dripping blood from his arms and resume's his fighting stance while breathing slightly heavier.

"If you think a attack like that is enough to make me quit, you got another thing coming!" Caspian was acting tough but in truth that one attack really hurt and another one or two of those could land him in fatal conditions, Caspian didn't like it but he have to give himself a opening to try a technique Pathos showed him.

Caspian then waited for the pirate to close in on him after throwing insulting words which seemed to anger him like he planned so once he got close enough and was about to swing the axe down Caspian quickly kicked his hand at a angle making him lose his grip on the axe handle as it fell out of his hands, Caspian didn't waste any time as he got even closer to the pirate and let off a barrage of a total of seven punch's before jumping back and looking at his opponent who coughed in little bit of pain.

Yaki looked stunned for a second but then let out a even more powerful laugh "What the hell? You scared me for a minute with that sudden kick and combo punching but it still didn-!!!!!?? Suddenly while in the middle of talking Yaki started holding his body as he crippled over and looked like he was getting hit with seven invisible shock wave's that pushed him back with each wave before he finally fell on his knee's crippling over passing out from the damage that coursed inside his body.

Caspian was breathing heavy by then as he had been working to perfect that technique ever since he learned it but it still took quite a bit of energy to do, Caspian then reached into his pocket to get the snail caller and connected to the marine officer's who were stationed in a more safer place "One of the pirate's subdued, requesting pickup for prisoner transfer"

Caspian then hung up and simply tied the man in chains, his job was done so he reported to the back of the marine unit until the other's had completed their mission and the successful capture of the pirate group was completed.

Standard mission, short but sweet and to the point.
