Basking in the soothing heat provided by the sun, our protagonist was something like a lazy stray cat. Arms folded behind his head, Cosmo lied down on the roof of someone's 4 story house. He was able to work his way up and across the rooftops in order to get this vantage point. In his eyes, this was prime relaxation real estate.
" Haah.. " the boy chimed tiredly. His eyes opened, aimed towards the sky. With those golden hues, Cosmo could see the open blue. And with his nose, even from here, the young pirate could smell the sea.
Yet, here he was, in some kind of stranded situation. This was where Cosmo woke up after some time in a hospital: Skypiea. More specifically, it was Angel Island. The place proved calm enough, but Cosmo felt he was overstaying his welcome here. It had been about.. 3 months now. The male sat upright, using his hands as a support to the angle his body took. Quietly, the young man gathered himself. Slowly, his head rotated. This allowed his eyes to lock onto the sword lying by his side on the rooftop. Cosmo gazed at the weapon - one of the few relics of his, not too far gone, past. The late teen had a lot of pressure on him to succeed. Much of it not even self-constructed. " That's right, " The boy thought aloud, moving to his feet. " No time to waste. " He said, picking up the oversized katana and attaching it to a clip hanging from his back.
Taking long steps to the apex of the pyramid shaped rooftop, Cosmo leaned forward to catch the point with his left hand. He then put up the opposite hand like a visor, blocking the sun's rays from hitting his eyes. He didn't have the eyes of a hawk or anything, but Cosmo could make out anything broad that was in his scope of vision.
What could he see..? His eyes made out the shape of a tower. It was some construction that was speedily assembled by, you guessed it, the Marines. There were some barricades set up with various soldiers manning their posts. The thought of how he'd get mixed up in their business crossed Cosmo's mind.
'-knock, knock, knock,'
But some noise distracted the boy. What the. He thought, looking towards the street-level. There was a nice looking fellow in uniform hammering something up to a wall. From the looks of it.. It was a wanted poster. The devilish pirate smirked, activating the supernatural power granted to him by his devil fruit. His movements were graceful, sliding along the incline to the edge of the roof. Slowly, gravitational pressure was reduced, and Cosmo stepped off the edge of the roof - dropping down to the target. The unsuspecting marine went to hammer in the nail one more time, stopping once Cosmo's right foot landed on his left shoulder. "Huh!?" The man shrieked in bewilderment. His head rose to see that a full-grown person was standing on him like it was nothing. In the next moment, the marine found his shoulder being pushed downward. Cosmo increased his weight rapidly, effortlessly rotating his foot on his victim's shoulder to swing his left foot around. As a dismount was made, the young pirate smashed the bottom of his sandal into that marine scum's face. Kicking with the weight of a 150 kilo man, Cosmo easily knocked his target unconscious.
Landing on his feet with a hefty thud, Cosmo slid his hands into his pockets. " Hmph. " Cosmo hummed with disinterest. He watched the marine lie motionless for a second longer before finally turning his head. So who is it we're talking about he-

" What the hell, it's actually me!? "
Cosmo exclaimed in disbelief. He stuck a hand out and snatched the poster from the wall. " Tch.. Such a terrible ass drawing too. This smells fishy. " One hand still in his pocket, the caramel-skinned swordsman walked out into the center of the street. Once again, his eyes made out the top of the marine tower located to the North.
So then.. making a quick sweep of the island before you dig in, huh? Well let's give you a warm welcome, from a man straight out of his own grave. Cosmo flashed a smirk. He was about to put these marines through some hell.
