devil fruits
Devil Fruits grant those who eat them unique powers in exchange for their ability to swim. Only one Devil Fruit can be consumed by any one person and consuming another results in their death. Of the Devil Fruits, there are three types: Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia. Within the Zoan class there exist, Common Zoan, Ancient Zoan, and Mythological Zoan.
It should be noted that to reap the full benefits of certain fruits like the Gasu Gasu (Scientist) or Ope Ope (Doctor) one will need to have an Occupation that corresponds with and supports it. Certain fruits require certain occupational knowledge to use them to their full Canon extent and it is Occupations that will give you this knowledge. This is not to say that perhaps another Occupation could make a fruit like these even stronger though, for it's all about creativity.
These fruits give the users a power that can affect their body, manipulate the environment, or produce substances. In general, Paramecia Devil Fruits are fruits that give their users powers other than transforming into natural elements, like Logias, or transforming into animals, like Zoans.
In the Zoan category there exist, Ancient Zoan and Mythological Zoan.
Ancient Zoans are a much rarer type of Zoan Devil Fruit which allows the users to transform into ancient and extinct animals, such as prehistoric reptiles like dinosaurs.
Mythological Zoans are an exceptionally rare and immensely powerful type of Zoan Devil Fruit and is said to be even rarer than Logia Devil Fruits. Unlike the other types of Zoan Devil Fruits, this type of fruit may be the only one considered impressive, owing to its rarity and the unique powers it bestows upon the user. They allow users to transform into mythological creatures (which may have special abilities that are comparable to Paramecia and Logia Devil Fruits), the sorts of which could be regarded as the subject of legends and the like.
Depending on the animal the user gains a +5 doriki upon transforming into the Full or Hybrid version to a selected attribute. The attribute selected has to be make sense with the type of Zoan you have. A example of a acceptable attribute selected would be speed and agility for a cheetah zoan. The only way to switch this attribute boost is through the use of Rumble balls. The boost also does not count toward 10 doriki someone is allowed use within a topic. Finally, Mythological Zoan do not get this boost due to magical abilities being their edge.

Paramecia
Paramecia is one of the three Devil Fruit types, and by far the most common of the three. These fruits give the users a power that can affect their body, manipulate the environment, or produce substances. In general, Paramecia Devil Fruits are fruits that give their users powers other than transforming into natural elements, like Logias, or transforming into animals, like Zoans.
Zoan
This type of fruit allows the user to transform into another species and inter-species hybrid forms at will. Zoan types are especially effective in close combat.
Logia
It is characterized by giving its user the ability to create limitless amounts of an element or force of nature and to turn into that same element or force of nature, making them intangible even in the case of something solid like ice, but not in the case of something abstract like darkness. Elemental weakness follows canon and would allow for the superior element to force the inferior into tangibility, thus harming the inferior user directly. Intangibility is accessible at Intermediate Skill-Set Mastery. Intangibility does not have to be made a skill unless it comes with effects and advantages aside from just becoming intangible. Claiming
Current Devil Fruits taken by a NPC( Non-playable character) or PC( Playable characters) are listed within the taken spoiler of that Devil fruit class. How to gain a devil fruit can be found in Voyage System. Here on Strawhats we do not allow custom Devil Fruit, unless they are zoan types. - Starting Paramecia Slots:
