The day was young as a wounded Jonas walked down the streets of Water 7. You see, days before he had gotten into a little altercation upon arriving on the island they gave him some small injures. A sprained wrist was probably the worst of the injuries he had gained that day. He received many different looks as he walked down the streets. Mostly due to the unusual tone of his eyes. Water 7 was a very active tourist place, so when people who looked “different” explored it they would be stared at. Jonas loved the attention. While people glanced at him, he felt as if he held some sort of hold over them. Due to his Devil Fruit requiring the enemy to look upon him before he could engage in combat with them.

A small smirk would curl up on his lips as he thought of the actions he could issue at any given time. Some would say he was sadistic with the way he was thinking, but it wasn’t unnatural for a man to want to have fun every now and then. “Man, I really don’t feel like walking around all day. What the hell should I do?” The Black suited man whispered to no one in particular. He didn’t know very much about Water 7 besides the information he had gained while fighting earlier. Basically, the only thing he knew was that the island was the true home of Shipwrights. Whatever in hell that meant Jonas didn’t know, but he would assume that a lot of ship makers lived on the island. It would explain all of the docks and ship parts laying here and there.

At times he was disgusted to even walk through the part of time he was in. Feeling as if the oiled down metal would come into contact with him and cause black smudges to appear on his gloves. With that minor though, Jonas would stuff his hands into the pockets of his pants. He didn’t want his pearl like cloth to be infected. After taking his mind off of the gloves. Jonas would come into the Business District of Water 7. Here the area was even more active with people. With a large amount going into a building labeled “Li Dian’s Kitches & Bar”.

Looking at the sign and the amount of people going in the establishment. Jonas wondered if he should do the same. He didn’t want to hop on the bandwagon, but what would be better than learning about Water 7 than going to a bar and learning about it? People did tend to talk a lot when they were drunk, so maybe he could eavesdrop and learn of what was going to happen in the near future of the island? Maybe a large shipment of gold could be coming in? Another smile would creep on his face. Removing his hands, Jonas would walk slowly to the bar. He had a couple hundred beli on him, so he could buy a drink and something to eat while he was at it. The male didn’t get drunk very often, but he needed to enjoy life here and there. He wasn’t saying that the kidnapping of his sister could wait. He just felt that if he consumed himself into finding his sister, then he wouldn’t have time to grow stronger himself. Both mentally and physically in nature.

Deciding that there was no harm in going to Li Dian’s kitchen. Jonas would casually walk towards the building. The doors leading into the building reminded him of the Wild West. The doors weren’t your usual doors with a knob to turn. There were to doors that you simply opened by making contact with them. Staring at them, he had a feeling in his head that today would be a good day.

Raising his left arm up, Jonas would push open the left side of the door and walk into the bar. A loud shrieking sound would come from the door that said it was thirsty for some oil. But it also told everyone in the bar that a new figure had come through its doors. The place would become silent as all eyes would momentarily lay on him for a few seconds. He wanted to insult the people looking at him, but he knew that he was the one in charge. If he wanted to, everyone near him would be made into statues that could be displayed in the most prestigious of museums. Taking his mind of his statue porn, Jonas would walk towards the bar itself. He wasn’t a person of importance, so everyone went back to what they were doing. The bar stand was pretty packed with one opening for the Long-Leg to walk through. Maneuvering his way through the crowd of people, Jonas would finally come face to face with the stool and taking a seat on it. Raising his hand, he would say “Aye Bartender, I need some fine Brandy over here.” The man who was wiping off the glasses for liquor would nod and shoot a smile at the man in black. A few seconds would pass before the man poured the brandy into a glass and slid it down towards Jonas in a movie style fashion.

Taking a small whiff of the alcohol, Jonas would put the glass to his lips and take a sip of it. The taste wasn’t sweet, but bitter and sour. However, he still liked it and kept sipping. He knew not to drink too much in a single time. The man didn’t want to get drunk quickly. Leaning back, he would let his senses flow. Taking in everything the bar had to offer. From the smell of alcohol and musk, the sounds coming from the various musicians, and the multiple colors his eyes seen. It was a very fine establishment and he was sure he would find out some things during his time here.

As he leaned back, Jonas would place the glass back on the stand. A loud drunken tone from his left would overtake his left ear. “That’s some fucking bullshit. Our island has been neglected every since they upgraded that poverty ridden place. We’ve barely made the News Coo since then. I’m a hell of a Shipwright and I haven’t been getting any type of clientele since that fucking upgrade. Those marines don’t bring nothing but bad news. Taking all of our god damn work to god knows where.” said a man, as he hit a glass on the table. Causing the shards to spray everywhere. His outburst had caused multiple people to scream out in agreement. Jonas didn’t know what exactly the “poverty ridden place” was. Although, he would assume that it was the Warehouse District he had only just walked through. The stone buildings in it looked cleaner than those of the Business District. As if a person had washed the stone from top to bottom. If that wasn’t the case, then that meant that the stone had been newly constructed. He wondered what happened for the place to be upgraded?

Deciding that silence is wasn’t good at the moment. Jonas would rise slightly in his seat, saying “Damn, that’s very unfortunate. What led to all of that happening to you?” asked Jonas, directing his tone and looking towards the drunken man. He would shoot up out of his seat, knocking down the stool in the process. “A snowstorm, Sea Kings, a Man in Black, all types of bullshit that comes with those Devil Fruit people. The world was a good place before they came and now look at it. Running around all over the earth causing mass panic. Have you seen the god damn News Coo. They basically caused a war on Sandy Island. And the marines don’t do shit to stop them.” screamed the man. His buddies would scream in agreement.

All of his buddies would be fist pumping the air. Leading him on, causing an even larger up roar. “The Business District was getting all types of work before that upgrade. Now those hooligans are making bank doing simple shit. I won’t tolerate no more.” screamed the drunken man. Jonas smiled at the man. It seemed like the island wasn’t very quiet after all. Though, if it kept going this way. It looked like the men in the bar would dress in hoods and go raid the Warehouse District. Deciding that it was going to far, Jonas would say “Now, now. What do they have that you guys don’t. I mean there side of town does look better, but it seems like you guys have the better workers. Maybe do some events and you guys can get all of your clientele back. It doesn’t seem like they took from you guys deliberately. People just like things new.” said Jonas.

He didn’t care much for the people in the room. He just didn’t want a war to outbreak while he was on the island. He was the type of person to get hit in the heel by a stray bullet and die trying to run. The bar would calm down at his proposition. The men mostly just staring at him as if he had disrespected the Bible or something. They looked like they wanted to run towards Jonas and pummel him to a pulp, but he wasn’t the type to let that happen to him. He was ready for anything to come his way.

“Shut the hell up you Long-Legged bitch. This is our island you can’t come in here and make suggestions like you’re the mayor or something.” said the drunken man. Jonas wouldn’t even reply to the man. He would only smirk at him. This caused him to grow even more angrier. He looked like he was going to rush Jonas any moment now. Jonas would stand from spot and take a single glove off his hand. The gloves didn’t stop him from using his Devil Fruit powers. He just wanted to look a little comical before he broke all of their legs. Just as the fight was about to issue. Another group of men would walk through the door. They were dressed in clothes like they had been working all day. They had looks of disgust on their face as they looked around the bar.

The biggest out of all of the men would stare at the drunken one. “You’re talking shit about us again I see Dingo. Why don’t you ever say it while we’re in here. Don’t get upset because we are the big business now. A war came and affected our district and we were the ones affected by it. Now we’re the ones on top. I ain’t gonna let you talk about my people anymore. We’re gonna settle this here and now.” said the newcomer. Jonas eyes would widen at the new group. His body reacting by itself, as he jumped over the bar next to the bartender just as a man was thrown into his stool.

He was happy he had moved at the time he did, or he probably would be laying under a body of a man. Placing his glove back over his hand, he would let out a sigh seeing that the newcomers were basically helping him. He didn’t want to take all of them out anyway, they weren’t worth his time. The fight was pretty epic. Bodies and drinks were being thrown everywhere. Most people were running out of the establishment, but Jonas decided to stay and watch all of the excitement going on. It wasn’t everyday he got to see a bar fight break out. Most of the times he was one of the ones fighting. So seeing one from the outside in was pretty great.

Dingo and the newcomer were fighting each other. Each of them throwing punches that looked like they could break bones on impact. Jonas felt sorry for Dingo every time he got hit buy a punch. His face is as bloody and swelling very quickly. Looking at the Bartender, Jonas would say “so is this your first bar fight. Or do you get these very often?” There would be a pause as Jonas looked at the man. “This is my second, although this one is way worst. The marines should be coming in at any moment.” said the Bartender. Jonas would nod and go back to watching the fight. He hadn’t had an encounter with Marines with a while. He wanted to see what the outcome would be.

As if on cue, Ensigns dressed in their common clothing would erupt in the building. “Stop before we lock all of ya up in here.” screamed one of the Ensigns. Each of them had rifles in their hands and were pointing them at the group of men fighting. The fighting continued going on, causing the lead ensign to point the rifle into the air and firing it. Everyone quieted down, hell even Jonas flinched slightly at the shot. “Now everyone get the hell outta here and don’t come back.” screamed the ensign. Jonas stared at the now three groups. “You marines don’t run shit. Y’all are no better than the pirates that roam the world or more specifically all our streets. Y’all created a plan that allied yourselves with the filth that steal from us. What the hell does a Shichibukai even mean.” said Dingo, as he pulled a pistol from under his shirt and pointed it at the Ensigns.

His posse would follow his lead and also point their pistols at the marines. However, Dingo and his crew was still outnumbered. Seeing that, the newcomer would pull a rifle from his back and point it at the marines. “Me and Dingo have our differences but we hate you all most of all.” said the newcomer and without a second thought he would fire a shot at the ensign in front. And after that single shot all hell would break lose in the large establishment.

The rifle shot would travel through the air and hit the lead ensign directly in the chest. Blowing him back towards the door. “Oh shit!” screamed Jonas as he ducked his head under the bar stand. “Where the hell is the back door. We have to get off of this war zone.” said Jonas, as he screamed at the Bartender. “Follow me, now!” screamed the man, ducking as he made his way deeper into the back of the bar. A door labeled “Only In Emergencies” would come into view. However, it had a huge lock on it that looked like not even the strongest man could break through. “Only the owner has a key! Dammit!” said the Bartender. Jonas would shove the man away and slap the lock causing it to instantly turn into stone. And with a punch he would destroy it. Kicking the door off of the hinges, Jonas would run into the streets of Water 7.

He had wanted a bar fight, but what had just took place was a battle. And he was very sure the ensign that had gotten shot was probably dead. He had never heard of anyone surviving a bullet directly to the chest. And he sure as hell wasnt gonna stay in the bar and have it happen to himself. “Aye it was a good talk Bartender. But I’m sure a legion of marines are about to come. You better get out of this hell hole while you have the time to.” Said Jonas.

Running away from the man and back towards the Warehouse District, Jonas could still hear the gunshots coming from the bar. People from the Warehouse District (most likely reinforcements for the newcomer) were running towards the commotion. Jonas was doing his best to get away from it. He was no pirate, but he still didn’t want to get caught by marines. It would halt all of his plans for a long time. He would weave through the mass amounts of people and try his best to back it back to the docks of the district. He needed to lay down or something. There was too much in his mind. It wasn’t long before he back it to the docks. Finding a barrel, he would plop down next to it and rest his back. His heart was still pounding from the running and the interaction with the three groups. He was sure that if Dingo and company were captured than it still wouldn’t be over. Each side would want to act out in revenge against each other. He just hoped the marines didn’t do what they expected him to do. Closing his eyes, Jonas would fall into a deep sleep.
