haki
Haki is a mysterious power that is found within most, if not all, living creatures of the world. Within the world there are three types of Haki, Kenbunshoku Haki {Observational Haki}, Busoshoku Haki {Armament Haki}, Haoshoku Haki {Conqueror’s Haki}. With that said, even though Haki is possessed within all living beings, few will unlock its power, causing it to remain dormant for the entirety of their lives.

Haki Stamina
Like Skills, Haki draws from a pool known as Haki Stamina. Every Tier in the Spirit & Willpower Attribute increases a character's Haki Stamina.

Haki Stamina by Spirit & Willpower
Conventional
  • Tier 1 -
  • Tier 2 -
  • Tier 3 -
  • Tier 4 -
  • Tier 5 -
  • Tier 6 -
  • Tier 7 - 100
  • Tier 8 - 200
  • Tier 9 - 350
  • Tier 10 - 500
  • Tier 11 -
  • Tier 12 - 600
  • Tier 13 -
  • Tier 14 - 700
  • Tier 15 - 1,000
  • Tier 16 - 1,250
  • Tier 17 - 1,500

Recovery
  • You regain 10% of your total Haki Stamina every post.
  • If you go 3 post w/o using Haki, you regain a total of 30% of your Haki Stamina for that turn.
  • If you exhaust your Haki Stamina to 0, you enter a temporary state of exhaustion as if your Stamina were at 25%. This last for 3 post, and your Haki Stamina will only recover by 25% on the 3rd post.

Unlocking Haki
To awaken Haki takes a situation extreme stress, when it seems the character's only way out of a situation is through emergence of this new power. This follows the blueprint Usopp set when he awakened Kenbunshoku Haki to snipe Sugar.

After awakening Haki and becoming aware of what it is, one can learn Haki in ways similar to how Luffy learned Future Sight or Ryuo.

In any case, whenever Haki is learned, in actuality it is only gaining access to 1 Haki Technique out of the many that exist, so that is to say, there is a lot of Haki to awaken.
  • A Character must be Tier 3 (Character Tier) to unlock Haki.
  • A Character must have Tier 7 Spirit & Willpower to unlock Haki
  • When you unlock a Haki Technique in a new tree of Tree of Haki for the first time, you gain +1 Tier raise in your Spirit Attribute.

Haki Techniques
Haki Techniques are the actual applications of Haki as skills. Each Technique has 5 Levels and 1 of 4 Proficiencies.
  • Basic: Requires Tier 7 Spirit & Willpower
  • Adept Requires Tier 9 Spirit & Willpower
  • Advanced Requires Tier 13 Spirit & Willpower
  • Mastery Requires Tier 15 Spirit & Willpower

Each Level will have better benefits, but cost a larger amount of Haki Stamina. A character can always opt to use a lower Level of Haki for their own reasons, like to conserve their stamina.

Level Up
Your Haki Techniques Level Up after every Arc as long as you used it at its highest Level with dire need. Your Spirit & Willpower Tier must also be high enough to allow you to learn the next Level if it has a Proficiency on it.

Kenbunshoku Haki
Haki Tumblr_nhhbh2ouH31tphso7o4_500
Observational Haki encompasses abilities which have much to do with sight, perception, sensing danger, as well as seeing the aura’s of other beings. It requires a calmed mind to be most effective.

Sixth Sense - BASIC - Sixth Sense allows the user to feel the presence those who are around them, even if they aren’t visually looking at them. This alertness allows the user to sense and perceive incoming danger within its range of effect and dodge; especially if there is strong killing intent coming from the aggressor. Regardless of the amount of people or objects present, this type of sensory cannot be overloaded with information, should the user remain calm. This ability to perceive conventionally undetectable threats only applies to attacks with intent and consciousness. That's to say a robot/something without consciousness would bypass this ability.
  • Lvl.1 - 5m radius - 15 Haki Stamina per turn - +1 Perception Advantage.
  • Lvl.2 - 20m radius - 50 Haki Stamina per turn - +2 Perception Advantages.
  • Lvl.3 - ADEPT - 75m radius - 100 Haki Stamina per turn - +3 Perception Advantages.
  • Lvl.4 - ADVANCED - 500m radius - 250 Haki Stamina per turn - +4 Perception Advantages.
  • Lvl.5 - MASTERY - 1km- 300 Haki Stamina per turn - +5 Perception Advantages.

Empath - BASIC - The gift to perceive isn’t only the ability to perceive what’s in themselves, but also to perceive what’s in others. The Empath perk allows the user to feel the emotions of those who are around them as if they were there own. This can't be used to discern the location of those you're sensing, just their emotions.
  • Lvl.1 - 25 Beings - 25m radius- 15 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.2 - 100 Beings - 100m radius - 25 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.3 - ADEPT - 1,000 Beings - 500m radius - 50 Haki Stamina per turn. You can understand those you sense enough to understand what their most prominent desire is. i.e. greed, freedom, power, revenge, etc.
  • Lvl.4 - ADVANCED - 10,000 Beings - 1km radius - 75 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.5 - MASTERY - Island - 100 Haki Stamina per turn.

Sixth Sense can see through lower Lvl Stealth.

Aura Sight - BASIC - No level of concealment can truly obstruct the vision of someone with this technique. Not only is the user capable of seeing thru environmental obstructions, but they see people masses of aura through their own open eyes or mind's eye. The user can use this recall familiar auras they have sensed, to lock on to an aura for as long as they are in range, and as the technique grows they will able to observe more details about who they are sensing. Lastly, Aura Sight gives one the ability to see Haki when it is used as a coating such as with Ryou, King's Cloak, or the basic invisible Armament coating.
  • Lvl.1 - 100m - 25 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.2 - ADEPT - 300m - 50 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.3 - 1km - 100 Haki Stamina per turn. User can generally assess the alignment of the people they sense, based by their morality.
  • Lvl.4 -ADVANCED - Scope of the thread - 200 Haki Stamina per turn. User can assess the power level of the people they sense, based on their Spirit & Willpower Tier.
  • Lvl.5 - MASTERY Island - 300 Haki Stamina per turn.

Aura Sight can see through lower Lvl Stealth.

Stealth - ADEPT -  Allows the user to mask their aura to avoid detection from other Kenbunshoku abilities. This can only be bypassed by a higher Lvl Aura Sight or Sixth Sense. Perception Advantages from Sixth Sense are ignored if the Stealth is effective. One's killing intent must be held under wraps for this technique to be effective.
  • Lvl.1 - You can only manage the technique while you're still. - 25 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.2 - All your movements suffer -3 Speed Advantages - 50 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.3 - ADVANCED - You can move completely fine, but the technique breaks the instant you attack. - 150 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.4 - You can attack while 100% masking your killing intent. At this point, Sixth Sense can be bypassed if it's not a higher Level. - 250 Haki Stamina per turn.
  • Lvl.5 - MASTERY - 350 Haki Stamina per turn.

Future Sight - ADVANCED - While keeping a calm mind, the user foresees the near future, allowing them to accurately avoid attacks or even know what someone will say.*
  • Lvl.1 - User can only activate the technique in reaction to something and only to forsee the immediate future of the trigger, such as their opponent. 1 single second of future sight. - 200 Haki Stamina.
  • Lvl.2 - Free will to activate and can foresee 3 seconds of the future of all within a 5m radius. - 250 Haki Stamina per 1 turn.
  • Lvl.3 - MASTERY - Can foresee 5 seconds of the future of all within a 10m radius. - 300 Haki Stamina per 1 turn.
  • Lvl.4 - Can foresee 10 seconds of the future of all within a 25m radius. - 400 Haki Stamina per 1 turn.
  • Lvl.5 - Can foresee a single posting round of all within a 50m radius. - 500 Haki Stamina per 1 turn.
*Future Sight Haki basically permits Meta Gaming, for however long it persist from the point of activation.

Busoshoku Haki
Haki Tumblr_nhhbh2ouH31tphso7o1_500
Busoshoku Haki or Armament Haki, is a form of Haki that allows the user to use their spirit to create, in essence, an invisible armor around themselves. This naturally grants the user defensive advantages, but at later stages also grants offensive as well.

By its nature, this Haki inherently suppresses Devil Fruits abilities allowing for the actual body of eaters to be hit despite the benefits a Devil Fruit could provide. An example is bypassing a Logia's intangibility to hit their actual body.

The Color of Arms - BASIC - Color of Arms is the basic principle of Busoshoku Haki. It is coating oneself or objects in Haki to enhance their Durability and haphazardly their offense.

The more developed the Color of Arms gets, the darker and more metallic the shell encasing the Haki colored limb becomes.
  • Lvl.1 - Non-visible coating - 15 Haki Stamina per turn - +1 Strength/Durability Advantage.
  • Lvl.2 - Basic Black - Can coat objects and maintain coating as far as 10m away. - 35 Haki Stamina per turn - +2 Strength/Durability Advantages.
  • Lvl.3 - Koka/Vulcanized - ADEPT - Can maintain coating on objects as far as 50m away and do full-body coating. Can also coat intangible forces such as elements produced from Devil Fruits and Flying Slashes - 75 Haki Stamina per turn - +3 Strength/Durability Advantages.
  • Lvl.4 - Deep Red - ADVANCED - Can maintain coating on objects and intangible forces such as Devil Fruit effects or Flying Slashes as far as 100m away. - 150 Haki Stamina per turn - +4 Strength/Durability Advantages.
  • Lvl.5 - Pure Diamond -Can maintain coating on objects and intangible forces such as Devil Fruit effects of Flying Slashes as far as 500m away. - 300 Haki Stamina per turn - +5 Strength/Durability Advantages.
    • If you clash with a Color of Arms equal or higher Level than your application, any invulnerabilities from a Devil Fruit you may have such as Logia or Luffy's Rubber Body will be ignored.
    • If you take any damage above Minor when defending with Color of Arms, you lose 10% of your total Haki Stamina.

Ryuo - BASIC - This technique focuses on the flow of Haki and using it as an external force or shield; as opposed to armor that your wear.
  • Lvl.1 - Shield* - A small invisible shield hardly bigger than the user's palm. Can be used to deflect attacks. - 25 Haki Stamina per use. - +2 Durability Advantages.
  • Lvl.2 - Bash - The user accumulates aura around their limb and strikes their target, but without making direct contact. Up to 3 inches of added range.  - 30 Haki Stamina per post. +2 Strength Advantages.
  • Lvl.3 - ADEPT
    • Shove - Project a wave of Haki that hits and pushes foes away, can reach up to 7m. - 75 Haki Stamina per use. +1 Strength Advantage.
    • Shield - User can erect an invisible shield as big as they are. - 75 Haki Stamina per use. +3 Durability Advantages.
    • Bash -The user accumulates aura around their limb and strikes their target, but without making direct contact. Up a hand's length of added range. - +3 Strength Advantages. - 75 Haki Stamina per use.
  • Lvl.4 - ADVANCED
    • Flow - The user attacks their target internally by sending their Haki directly into the target after making contact. +5 Strength Advantages. - 200 Haki Stamina per use.
    • Shove - Project a wave of Haki that hits and pushes foes away, can reach up to 15m. +3 Strength Advantages - 150 Haki Stamina per use

  • Lvl.5 - MASTERY
    • Flow  - The user attacks their target internally by sending their Haki directly into the target after making contact. +5 Strength Advantages. +1 Damage Severity - 350 Haki Stamina per use.
    • Shield - User can manifest an invisible shield 3x larger than they are. +7 Durability Advantages. - 350 Haki Stamina per use.

*The base Durability of Shield is the Tier of the user's Spirit & Willpower .

Haoshoku Haki
Haki Tumblr_nhhbh2ouH31tphso7o5_500
Haoshoku Haki is also known as Conqueror’s Haki and is a Haki based on one’s willpower. They can express their strong will in ways that can tame beast, cause people to fall unconscious, or even cause damage to surrounding structures. It's the rarest of the three types of Haki.

King’s Subjection - BASIC - When used, this ability can intimidate people and make them lose their will to fight, follow commands, or tame beast. This only works on targets with at least 3 less Spirit & Willpower than the user. 5 Post Cooldown. The range is anything within the user's field of view or senses with Haki. The difference between the user and target's Spirit Attribute is how many posts the effect lasts, maximum 5 post..
  • Lvl.1 - 15 Beings - 5m radius - 50 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.2 - 50 Beings - 15m radius - 75 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.3 - ADEPT - 300 Beings - 50m radius - 150 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.4 - ADVANCED - 1,000 Beings - 150m radius - 250 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.5 - MASTERY - 10,000 Beings - 500m radius - 300 Haki Stamina per use.

Conqueror’s Wrath - BASIC - The user emits an invisible wave of their own willpower that can either stun or knockout those with weaker will. A knockout is only enforced on those with at least 3 less Spirit & Willpower than the user. Those with 2 less are stunned for a post, but can return to their senses immediately the following post. Those with 1 less are stunned for a single moment, but still can act in their post. Equal to or more Spirit are unaffected, if not riled up. 6 Post cooldown. The difference between the two Spirit Attributes is how many posts the effect lasts until.
  • Lvl.1 - 15 Beings - 50 Haki Stamina per use - 5m radius -  Indiscriminate
  • Lvl.2 - 50 Beings - 25m radius -  100 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.3 - ADEPT - 250 Beings - 150m radius -  200 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.4 - ADVANCED - 500 Beings - 300m radius - 300 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.5 - MASTERY - 5,000 Beings - 500m radius - 500 Haki Stamina per use

Presence of the Emperor - ADEPT - This ability seemingly expresses the user's will as crushing force onto the environment, specifically the things that aren't living beings. It can be used for continuous post, but this adds on to the cooldown.
5 Post cooldown.
  • Lvl.1 - 5m radius - Partially destroy Wood - 100 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.2 - ADVANCED - 25m radius - Partially destroy Iron, completely destroy Wood - 200 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.3 - 50m radius - Completely destroy Iron, partially destroy Steel - 300 Haki Stamina per use.
  • Lvl.4 - MASTERY 100m radius - Completely destroy Steel - 450 Haki Stamina per use
  • Lvl.5 - 150m radius - Completely destroy Titanium - 500 Haki Stamina per use. - Can target specific areas.

King's Cloak - ADVANCED - This ability shrouds the user's limbs or body in Conqueror's Haki allowing them to deal enhanced damage or boast impenetrable defense. The fundamentals of the technique is similar to Armament Haki. In an iconic shonen fashion, this rare Haki technique has the aesthetic of being a invisible force that makes contact before the user's actual cloaked body. Two user's who clash will noticeably have space in between where their immense wills are colliding.
  • Lvl.1 - 100 Haki Stamina per turn - +3 Strength or Durability Advantages.
  • Lvl.2 - MASTERY 200 Haki Stamina per turn - +5 Strength or Durability Advantages.
  • Lvl.3 - 300 Haki Stamina per turn - +7 Strength or Durability Advantages.

Tutoring*
Through whatever means deemed necessary by the tutor, Haki Techniques can be taught to those willing to learn or, by tutoring oneself in the heat of battle, be copied. The standard amounts of stress and danger must still be present in the tutoring session.
  • Tutoring requires an equal Tier Arc, to the Difficulty of the Haki Technique.
    • Basic = Tier 2, Adept = Tier 3 - 4, Advanced = Tier 5 - 6, Mastery = Tier 7

  • The tutor must have at least Lvl.3 in the Haki Technique they are tutoring.
  • To copy a Haki Technique you must be able to fathom how the technique is being used and have at least 1 Advanced Technique in the Haki Tree.

Modes

When Haki is used as a key part of a Mode, such as Luffy's Gear 4, Haki Stamina for whatever application of Haki you're using(specified in Mode's registration), must be paid upon activation then every other post.
