It was crowded, it was noisy and the whole place had this certain stench that her nose just couldn't get used to. Lilium's nose crinkled at the unpleasant tickling on her conchas as she walked along the stone-paved streets of Mock Town. The buildings that stood erect looked just like the people that roamed the little city; unrefined yet strong, decaying yet fighting. The way the details struggled to stay visible despite the thick mosses, the cracks and holes that were probably punched onto the walls were breathtaking in their own way.

The locals were special as well. Pirates, those who wanted to be pirates and those who once plowed the raging seas gathered in this port with their own agendas. It was almost astonishing that the place wasn't completely in ruins. Although they were merely tolerating each other's presence, pirates will always be pirates and it showed in the spontaneous trashtalking and punching occurring in wherever parties get caught in the heat of disagreement. Lilium's scowled under her breath, eyes rolling at the sight of two grown men picking up a fight over a funny look just now. Strong but definitely unrefined.

A sigh left her plump lips along with a few insults directed to the morons who were already grabbing each other by the collar. She shook her head slightly, trying to stop her mind from coming up of more insults, before turning around the corner at the end of the road. She had more important things to do than judging men who probably couldn't care less about what others thought of them... like finding a ride back home. Her kind rescuers did tell her that if she needed a vessel to carry her back to her island then this place was the best place to find one. Or, someone.

Her golden eyes darted from one building to another, making sure that she looked at the sign boards carefully before examining the next. This routine went on for a couple of blocks until she stumbled upon an old bar with a faded sign board that wrote: Salty Spitoon. Bingo. A smug smile pressed onto her lips. Taking another deep breath, and lightly choking on the same vile scent, she stepped into the saloon with high hopes. And, no. It didn't smell any different from outside. It was actually worse.

Despite its aging exterior, the establishment remained filled. All but a few seats were taken; there were even men sprawled across tables and the floor, drunk in broad day light. Lilium heard stories of this kind of places before but she never thought it could be this bad. However, if she wanted to go back to Amazon Lily then she had no other choice but to brave this kind of environment, so she made her way through the counter where a lone old man attended the intoxicated crowd.

"Excuse me," The elder turned to her with a smile large enough to note a few missing teeth "I was told by a friend that you can help me find a pirate," Upon reaching the counter, she took one of the stools that lined it and leaned a bit closer to the bartender "A pirate captain, one that will be sailing soon if not immediately?" She could only hope for a favorable answer so she can leave as soon as possible.

"DON'TCHA ASK THAT DAMN DRUNK!" Fidel's outburst was a reaction to the Old Man being asked about Pirates. In all actuality Fidel was the drunk one whilst the Bartender hadn't had a touch to drink today. But you couldn't say that about Fidel. As he looked the enticing young lady up and down in a drunk stupor he'd begin to speak once more; taking it upon himself to answer the question she had asked of the Bartender. "Y-ye wanta find a crew? One about t' set sail on th' HIGHHHHH seas? Well, wee cur. Thar be one. Yeah, yeah. Thar be one. Th' POMPADOUR PIRATES! They be a group o' true nakama....that would love t' t' 'ave a piece o' meat on board thar ship. They'd treat ye nice. Or, or. Are ye one o' those....new generation o' pirates. Once that wants adventure rather than booty 'n true freedom. Confidin' t' laws set by those that preach justice. Tell me. Tell me wha' kinda crew ye wants t' join. 'n I'll find ye one. " He had reverted back to a old version of himself with tolerance level surpassed. He failed to mention that help always came at a price and that he was a nice person. Nor will he ever be a nice person. Harm to anyone wasn't really planned today due to other obligations.

He himself had given up on his weak code. And he could do some vile things however that wouldn't be regarded as combat. Her angelic pasty skin, got something moving in him. Even when he loved darker meat. He wasn't the only one thinking it, as this place was full of wannabe pirates. Fidel would've been drinking and singing with them however as he wasn't that bad of a drunkard. He would regard himself as half and half. One half was happy and fun to be around. Whilst the other was a straight goon and disgusting degenerate. Switching back and forth from the two respectively. Even now as he looked at her he had a large smile on his face. Unlike most his teeth weren't missing or rotten, rather purely white. A few however were chipped. Some in a minor way while others in a extremely noticeable half a tooth way.

What he should be doing in here instead of drinking was spreading the word about a danger. But he never followed through with most tasks given to him unless he himself picked the task. Shit, he was even told to not bring a weapon in town anymore. But he did. His little blade tucked into his inner jacket pocket. He was told to not get dirty. But, his cargo pants had a stain on the right side and his white shirt had stand running down the front from too much drink getting out of his mouth.

The bartender didn't answer... more like, he didn't have the chance to say anything with that loud voice barraging into their supposed conversation. Lilium flinched, her head turning around to the person immediately next to her while the elderly shrugged it off and went on with his business. It was a man sporting black hair and a notably youthful face that could have been more pleasing to the eyes if he didn't wear such a dazed expression. He spoke in an unclear manner; his words were a bit slurred, but his statements managed to make enough sense. It would probably be wise to take what he'd say with a grain of salt, but then judging Mock Town, perhaps a drunk man's words were more trustworthy than those of a sober's.

"I'm not looking for a pirate crew to join," She replied as she moved her body around to completely face him "I just need to be on a ship that can sail the waters of Calm Belt," It could be any vessel, but obviously only the brave and daredevils would be willing to tread the nesting grounds of sea kings. Who else could they be but pirates? That was the reason why her rescuers brought her to Jaya. "Someone who can bring me to..." Lilium glanced left and right before leaning closer to the drunkard to finish her explanation "...Amazon Lily?" She murmured as if it was supposed to be a secret "Can the Pompadour pirates bring me there?"

Pompadour pirates. What a strange name to bear; it sounded comical than threatening, and in her book, it wasn't a good thing. Yet, this man did say that they were a solid group. She'd just have to wait until she'd be introduced. Or, perhaps he knew of another crew that would be more suitable for her request? Either way, this demand would surely not be for free and it would come cheap. Amazon Lily's trade had always been different from the rest of the world, but they were rich in resources. Lilium was more than certain that her sisters would give them enough gold, jewelries and weapons in exchange of her life which was why she wasn't afraid to barter. She'd make a man rich-- no, at this point she'd do anything just to get back home.

"Then loot a ship 'n sail on yer owns. Don't rely on others, girly. Some bastards sail these waters on wee rafts, fearin' naught. But....ye might be th' first that wants t' see those Spanish beauties. I fer one would ne'er go back thar. More lookin' than touchin'. 'n they prolly won't let us back thar anyway....even if I be th' last one. " He rambled rather than answering her questions directly, but she seemed smart. Towards the end of his answer their was evident sadness and regret within his voice. Coming to grips with being the last of a long dead crew still hurt the young lad to his core. Snot came first. Oozing from his right nostril first before being suck back up, but that just made it worse. It returning from both nostrils now. If you looked up more at his face you'd see tears were being fought back. Sitting and wallowing in these feelings was something Fidel didn't like. So he would use his sleeve as a tissue and then reach out for the bottle to his right. He hated waiting for Bartenders to pour his drink, so he always grabbed his own bottle. Instead of pouring it into his empty glass he'd take the bottle to the head. Drinking without a care. The liquid escaping somewhat from the corners of his mouth, further staining his clothing.

He'd slam the empty bottle onto the table, "Why ye even wanna go thar? Whats wrong wit' Jaya? Haven fer piracy. Bosom o' scum. Too many fellows tryin' t' get into those wee panties o' yers?" Sending out his own question was the only thing that could get his mind at the feelings he brought forth on his own.

If Che or Pepe saw Fidel right now they'd get him out of here, as he wasn't doing what he was supposed to be doing. He was supposed to be their recruiting for the upcoming fight or spreading word about the danger to come. They'd find out about this encounter along with his others. And the reason for the posters that will be put up would make sense. He was a idiot. And today he was a drunken idiot. Pretending to be a Pirate even though that life was long beyond him.

She silently breathed out through her nose with shoulders easing out to a slight slump as she turned away. Through her peripheral vision she could see him wipes his eyes with a discolored sleeve-- tears? Lilium blinked. Perhaps a bad experience in Amazon Lily, though that wasn't her business and she didn't have time to be distracted. However, there was some truth with his babbling and she couldn't agree more about not relying on others. Only if she could get herself a ship without causing much of a scene and actually manage to steer without dying. She didn't want more problems adding on the things she already has in mind.

The young Kuja warrior kept silent, a troubled expression setting on her face which the bartender seemed to have noticed. A large, thick mug filled with a vibrant golden color of brewed malted barley slid towards her. She turned her head up and was greeted by the same large, warm smile the old man offered her earlier and told her that the beverage was on the house for a beauty like her. She blinked in confusion but a small smile pressed on her lips before wrapping both her hands around the glassware, savoring the chill of the drink. Her attention was shortly stolen once again by the dark-haired man when he slammed his own drink on the wooden table and threw her a question. Questions, actually.

Why do you wanna go there? The inquiry made her subconsciously reach for her back- the area right after the base of the neck- where her Kuja Pirates' emblem was tattooed. It was very easy to answer but Lilium found words stuck at the bottom of her throat, unable to decide if it was wise to even tell him that she came from there. But then again, it was only a matter of time until people would start noticing her crew tattoo After all, it was only hidden by a few stray strands of hair. She seriously needed more bandage to cover the important parts of her body. "I," Her voice faded to a short pause. Would he even believe that she came from Amazon Lily? That she was a Kuja Pirate? She let out a deep, sharp sigh and took a large gulp from her beer. Just like him, a few of the alcohol slipped from her mouth, droplets racing down to her chest and disappearing into her clothes and cleavage. It had such a bad taste that sort of electrified her senses in the most unpleasant ways. Lilium cringed, shutting her eyes tight and shaking her to get rid of the bad feeling as wiped her chin with the back of her hand.

Gathering enough courage in the words that stumbled in her mind, she faced the dark-haired man "Jaya is simply not my home," She wasn't going to betray her own crew and family by joining some other pirates just because she couldn't get a ride back at home. It would be her death if somebody wanted her to denounce her loyalty to the Kuja Pirates and Amazon Lily "I have a crew waiting for me back in Amazon Lily, so I have to go there." Any man who have friends or a part of a group whom he shared a great bond with would be able to relate to her. Perhaps an explanation wasn't needed; these kinds of things, she believed, could be felt by the heart of any sentient being. "And you? Has Jaya always been your home?" Taking her mug once again, she took a gulp small enough to keep things clean but still too much that it made her choke gently. She never drank these beverages back in the island and had way, way less tolerance than most of the girls her age "Ugh," She cleared her throat "Isn't this too strong to enjoy? How does one even manage to drink this?" Clearly, she was only given the light stuff-- a more feminine drink.

"Ohhhh Zehahah, ye a pirate. Couldn't tell...but now I get it.  Separation from them must be hard fer ye, as it doesn't seem voluntary. " His eyes wondered away as she was speaking to him. Usually he liked to look at someone that spoke to him, but the spirits swayed his body. It was a miracle that he actually was able to stay on the stool. Before he would answer the questions posed to him he'd motion at the Bartender. This wasn't a signal for the Old geezer to come over rather for him to bring another bottle. Fidel was, even within being intoxicated, a intimidating and forceful Man. Having let the Old geezer know what his signal would be for another bottle before he got inebriated. It'd be placed in front of him and the battle to open it would begin

"Well," His first attempt was to just twist the cork out with his bare-hand. However, he'd struggle with this. He'd slam the bottle onto the counter-top, a bit frustrated. "I ain't from here. If ye considered th' place I was born me home. That'd be Dress-." He wouldn't  finish his sentence. Firmly a hand would be placed on his head, palming it. With as much force as they could muster they'd push his head down against the counter-top, inches away from the bottle he just slammed.

Who did this? Pepe the Clown the companion of Fidel did. The sudden "attack" might seem shocking and one could worry about Fidel. But, seconds after the impact he'd raise his head back up once Pepe would let his head go. If this wasn't Pepe the retaliation would've been quick. As Fidel would have his blade within his clutches, sobering up as he spun around. It had been tuckked into his shirt, hidden.  However he wouldn't raise his blade at his friend, rather he'd speak to him. "Oh, it is you." He'd place it back where it was and turn right back around.

"Don't turn back around, Fidel! We have things to do!"

"Nah, I'm talking to," Fidel would stop, as he didn't know who he was talking to. Well, he didn't know her name. So he'd look at her through the corner of his eye. Examining her. "I'm talking to boobs." Fidel didn't know her name. Either she had said it to him and he forgot, or they just didn't exchange them.

"Boobs?"
Pepe didn't really take in his surrounds when he entered this establishment, rather he b-lined to Fidel when he saw him. He would look in the direction in confusion of the person sitting next to Fidel, and he would blush. Bewitched by her beauty. He'd bring forth his most charming of smiles. He had been on Jaya(Mock Town), for a long while. But never has he ever seen someone like her. There was something about her that just captivated his hearts, as both began to pulse rapidly with every second he took in her beauty.

Hitchhiking [ social ] 252097

"Oooh~," Pepe would step back and bow before her. "I am Pepe the Clown, and I am sorry for whatever my delinquent friend has said to you during his drunken escapades. If he has wronged you please let me know, and I will compensate you for your troubles. I will need you name and home address however. " After his words he would get back into a upright position.

"Get off her dick." Fidel would mumble between sips to himself. When he had remove his blade he had attacked, just not Pepe. He always liked doing more than one thing at a time. As he would strike the bottle he struggled with. Iado being utilized to cleanly and quickly cut the top of the bottle. So, as he spoke he was drinking. He knew what the perverted monster was trying to do. Make Fidel the villain and himself the hero. Fidel wouldn't intervene though, as that wasn't his place. She was from Amazon lily and could take her of herself, like most from that place. He did though take note about her comment on the drink here. He watched what the Bartender gave her, and agreed. So, he would reach over after his few sips to pour some of what he had in his bottle into her mug. All she needed was to get shit faced like him if she wanted to enjoy the drinks.

Golden hues followed his hands; slender fingers wrapped around the cork in attempts to open the bottle, though he ultimately failed. She continued listening to him a bit more interested, even, now that she learned that both of them weren't locals. It would have been a conversation that she might enjoy... if only the man wasn't interrupted in the most violent way. Lilium jolted from her seat when the dark-haired's face was slammed on the wooden surface quite hard. It was more than surprising, and by the looks on the people's face immediately around them she wasn't overreacting. Her body acted on its own. Before she knew it she was already taking a few steps back from the men, even knocking down her own chair in the process.

Her eyes didn't linger long on the drunken man. She turned to the attacker and was met with a rather bizarre sight. Was that a red nose? It was very hard to miss- no, his whole face simply stood out among the rest. Lilium kept silently standing on the side, watching the two gentlemen's exchange. However, it was no secret that she favored the newcomer, mesmerized at the odd patterns and colors that painted his face. She did catch the drunkard calling her boobs, which instinctively made her look at her bosom. That's right. They had yet to introduce each other, though she didn't think it was necessary in the beginning.

Upon being mentioned and presence being detected, the air around the newcomer seemed to have changed as promptly as he introduced himself. Pepe the Clown. Clown. If she correctly remembered they were actors who were supposed to make people smile. Jaya didn't seem to be the right place for him. Lilium blinked, nodding as means of acknowledgement of him and his kindness. "He hasn't wronged me at all," She began, setting the stool back up and taking it. She decided to keep the distance rather unfriendly for now "In fact he was trying to help me," She turned to the drunkard "Fidel has been kind so far, you don't need to worry," A small smile cracked through her stern expression. The Kuja Warrior then turned back to the clown guy "My name is Lilium," It was her turn to give her name "And I'm looking for a ship that would sail to Calm Belt," Instead of giving her address, she told him her intention.

She fell silent for a brief moment where her hands seemed to have unconsciously held the mug and taking another sip from it. How strange! She found the taste too bitter for her liking yet there she was wanting for more "Do you know someone who would?" Her eyes were intently on Pepe; golden hues playing around his features as if she was memorizing every detail. Other things played in her mind, though "Or," She blinked, side glancing at Fidel with a graceful flutter of her eyelashes "Perhaps you can take me there?" There was a bit of hesitation in her voice if one listened closely but why was that not a good idea? If they had a ship, they could do the job lest she'd be forced to really do steal a vessel "Of course, I'll reward you handsomely." She sealed her offer with a chaste smile.

It wasn't very long until Lilium found her lips on the mug's rim, but this time she kept her hands around the glassware to steal its cool. The bar seemed to be getting hotter as each second passed just while her skin was getting redder. It was really not the type of temperature she was keen on.

"You do know how dangerous the Calm Belt is riiiigghhtt?? Huh? Do yah?" Fidel would slam his hand against the wooden bar-top; he himself didn't know if it as through agitation or randomness from his drunken stupor.  For a few seconds he would sway side to side before getting off of the bar-stool. Weirdly he would begin to remove his sandals. Even Pepe was confused with the actions that followed. As Fidel would walk around this place pushing people out of their chairs. In comparison to some he pushed, as he was just 5'11, he was a shorty. But those pushed didn't get up. He kept doing this till about ten individuals were on the floor. He'd circle back and get on top of the bar-top. '

"All those men I pushed down.... are Pirate Captains. Yup Yup. He'd clap his hands loudly, so that everyone's attention was on him. I'd say the highest got a guh...ugh... fifty million. Five Zera Bounty. Yeah, yeah...crazy high. But, none of them can help me. As there is a big guy, nice guy...come here to kill everyone. Gaylor. Now....Now....let us compare Gayyylor to the Calm belt. " He'd stop talking for a few seconds as he pulled out his weapon, a nice small blade. He'd then remove the sheath and toss it across the room. He'd then toss the blade, so that it stood blade down, onto the bar-top. "That is the gap between the Man that strikes fear in them...and kinda me, and the Calm Belt. As we know what to expect from another Pirate. And there is even a chance that we can beat that Pirate. But, can we beat those waters? Nah....nah. Sea Kings are one thing....but we ain't, well I know known of them. Have a ship that can do that.

"What is he trying to get at?" Pepe would have to say it. He wasn't intimidated  rather confused on the speech he was trying to give. As a simple 'No' might've sufficed to the Kuja if that was his intention.

"BUT! I can take you....yeah, I can take you."
Fidel would say as he would reached out for another bottle, which he would be given. Those he pushed down got back into their seats, as he didn't lie. He spoke with them sometime ago and they declined his offer and are spending their lasts few nights in Mock town drinking. They knew of the skill and power of the idiot that was Fidel, and didn't want to get into a conflict with him.

"Why'd you say all that if that was going to be your answer?" Pepe still was shocked at the actions of Fidel, as he went to retrieve his sheath. As he knew Fidel would forget it.

"Shut up, clown." Fidel would say as he'd would sit back down at his bar-stool. "Lilium, what I want for helping you is simple. I need you to take in my seed. Or that your Queen will take it....actually. I want you both to take it. "

"....What did you just ask her?"

An eyebrow arched as Fidel began to walk around the bar, knocking down select individuals as he passed by them. Her optics never lingered too long on the men; they kept on following the dark-haired, still trying to figure out what he was doing. Even after using the counter top as a makeshift podium or a pedestal of some sort and explaining his actions, the Kuja warrior didn't stop looking lost. The clown, who was supposed to be an ally, didn't seem to be able to understand just what the heck he was trying to prove. Perhaps the influence of the alcohol? Likely. However, it was rather relieving to hear of his favorable response because her request really was a ridiculous one, and he was right about everything he said pertaining to the waters of Calm Belt.

This should be the time to give her gratitude for his kindness, but the deal wasn't even completely set. Lilium offered something in exchange and his demand was what she was looking for the most. Amazon Lily was a rich island and could provide a lot of things, but not everything... so what would a man like him possibly want? Gold, jewelries, food, a ship-- no matter what, however, she had to be cunning and careful with the things she'd be promising. The train of thoughts that was running in her mind was broken by his gruff voice, though. Once again, she brought her full attention to him (how her sisters would be so proud to see her listening so intently to others!) as he began to state his terms.

"I want you to take in my seed."
"...What?"

She stared at him. She stared at him longer than she intended as she tried to solve that riddle-like request. A seed? He wanted her and her sister to take his seed. Lilium turned to Pepe; a puzzled look settling on her face before casting her gaze back to Fidel. She blinked, lips parting as if she was about to speak but closing it before any word escaped. The clown's question was exactly what she wanted to ask: what did he just ask her? She wasn't sure if it was a pirate language that wasn't used back in the island or if it was a guy thing or he just had really poor bargaining skills. But, it sure did give her brain a bit of a shake.

"What do you mean-" Pausing immediately after realizing that she was going to ask this drunk man, who she was now not very confident about being sober enough to make deals, again. Instead, she looked at Pepe and repeated the very same question "What did he mean?" Obviously bewildered, it was inevitable to have a hints of urgency mixed in her voice.
