Timing was completely off, unable to avoid the lance attack.
Misinterprated the big cats attack. A stream of fire was released from its maw, as clearly stated neither big cat moved from the hunters sides, they released streams.
Please don't auto hit enemies that are given stats, they are not grunts, they are official npcs for the quest. Attack them as you would a pc. Don't take control of the npcs as they are in control of the Npc post
Blood dripped from her lance, a wicked curl flickered upon her lips. "So he bleeds" Melissa thought. The man had been increadibly docile, slow for his reaction. Only activating his buso haki after she utilized her snow age technique, how he thought coating one limb would protect him from the cold was beyond her comprehension. Was this perrington member slipping. Now Melissa had been testing him, as previously stated. Her attack was not aiming to kill, but with the force and sharpness of her lance, the tip ripped, carving through skin and clothing, halting at the chin of the man, now her actions would continue as previously stated before. With the wound she had caused being minor, the man could continue with his actions, given these wounds were able to be shrugged off.
She would await her answers, her eyes glancing over the letter presented to her. The condescending way he spoke....reminded her of Cage, though masking his voice, he seemed unable to change his full persona in the way he spoke to her, though doubt was fully in her mind, a seed would certainly have sprouted. Perhaps if one wanted to keep a secret identity secret, speaking completely different to someone whom you have spent a lot of time with, would indeed have been the smarter move. Yet before she could say anything else, the elevator opened, the sounds of feline grumbling, the scent of nature. Her eyes left that of the "scarecrow" floating gently upon the hunter and his beautiful felines. "Gorgerous" she uttered. Yet his words would set her off. As he took his gun, he released his stream of fire, though the user of the Yuki Yuki No Mi would not only save herself, but would save this other man.
The beautiful brown lion had opened its maw to release a stream of fire at the man. This brought up a couple more questions. One, was this because the man had failed at assasinating Melissa in time? Or was this because the letter was true and that the strange man was not a member of Perrington. By utilizing Soru, Melissa was able to activate her vast speed, pushing her body to the side to avoid the stream of fire from the shotgun, this stream narrowly halted itself before igniting the Mayor, while her speed served to bring herself to grasp hold of the strange masked man before he too went up in flames, because like he did with her attack he simply didn't bother moving.
As they slid across to the other end of the room, no windows nothing, Melissa would whistle. "Bumchickawawaaaaa, those beautiful beasties are deaaadly" she said, obviously impressed with the felines. "I'm getting myself a new coat tonight, and maybe some new boots" She said licking her lips as she looked to the cats. "You gotta protect the mayor right bucket head?" The Yuki Yuki No Mi user asked. "Get him out of here" she said as she strolled to the middle of the room, cracking her neck and knuckles. "I'll take the three of em on" The confident witch of snow said, an aura of malice exuded from her.
