Area Description

The site of the last major race war which was sparked as an altercation between human pirates/mercenaries and the once proud, Rising Sun Pirates, an all Fishmen/Merfolk/Mermaid cast pirate crew. The Abyss Slums was once known as Poseidon's Gift, a Kingdom that was said to house the most beautiful lantern houses in all of the Kingdom. However, due to the Rising Pirates and the invading humans clashes, the area has been left demolished, now acting as a home for those who don't align with the Kingdom's recent olive branch towards the World Government and the human kind. Rescue missions are done by the Ryugu Army to save children from the pirate crew's cult like brainwashing and indoctrinating process. Additionally the place has become a hotspot for members of the Black Market. Slowly, but surely, the area is turning into a lawless district that civilians dare not venture into. Despite how dastardly and desolate it is, it's still quite beautiful though it feels somewhat haunted.
