Cassius Sinclair The Kraken Cassius had arrived in Lulusia Kingdom only a few short days earlier to bear witness to the grand execution that was slated to take place. He was still unsure of his purpose here, what had drawn him to it exactly, but something deep inside him simply knew he was meant to witness this act of power and control by the World Government. Regardless, he still had a few days to kill before the event was to take place and never one to waste time, Cassius quickly got to work securing information on a weapons depot hidden within the streets of the Common District. Which, in Cassius's opinion was rather ingenious really. Most royals stashed their possessions and arms in the more prosperous districts, often behind the castle walls themselves to keep everything close at hand. Instead, from the information Cassius had bought from a recently fired soldier of the Lulusia Kingdom, it seemed the local military had numerous stash houses scattered throughout the island so as to have a quick response in case of any riots breaking out. It dawned on Cassius early on in his conversation with the bitter, drunken soldier that it may all have been a ruse to entrap greedy pirates and criminals. If the soldier was simply a plant to lure criminals into a trap, Cassius was as good as dead. Then again, if these safe houses and weapons depots were meant to be secretive, why even take a chance revealing such information? Thinking of his oppressed people back home doing their best to keep the streets of Fishman Island clean, fighting an uphill battle both against the seedy underbelly of the black market as well as their own government, Cassius knew he had to take this chance. So, there he found himself under the cover of darkness just one day later, seated at the outside patio of a cafe across the street from the supposed location of this weapons depot. The building itself blended perfectly with the streets of Lulusia Kingdom and for a moment Cassius wondered if he had the right address. The lower portion of the two story building appeared to be like any storefront along the street. Large panes of glass to show wears and objects for purchase. Meanwhile the second level looked like any reasonable living accommodations, with average sized windows and stairs leading from the second story to the alleyway for a more private access. Taz, wake up. Cassius said quietly, tapping the breast pocket of his jacket. After a moment there was a faint stirring and rustling of what sounded like paper before a small dwarf poked his head out of the pocket and stared up at Cassius, rubbing his eyes with a yawn, Yah bossman? Taz had been the perfect operative for a heist such as this. Small, fight capable, hardly noticeable and quick as all hell. Cassius had objected when the rest of his crew had urged him to take them with him, explaining that this wasn't a job meant to drawn attention, and six good sized, burly fishman pirates would surely draw attention. Instead, Taz would act as the recon Cassius needed before moving in for the break in. Are you ready to head over? Aye aye cap'n, just tell me when to go. Taz is ready for action, yes he is. Head over, quietly, see if you can find an access point and let me know what we're up against. Get into any trouble of any kind and you get yourself out, understood? Yep, yep! Taz said with a salute before taking flight from Cassius's pocket and heading across the street to the building. Under the darkness, combined with his quick movements and tiny size, Taz disappeared from sight within seconds. Cassius waited patiently for the Dwarf's return and report, wondering if anyone else would show up tonight. After all, he had been far from the only one in the bar that night to overhear the dejected soldier. Perhaps he'd find himself with some criminal interest backup, or maybe just some good ole fashion rivalry among thieves.
