Yuurei wasn’t in level six for too long, or at least he felt that he wasn’t there for that long. He had been taken in when the incident at level five occurred. He had been fighting Armin, and Jack at that time, and he had suffered defeat to them. It wasn’t something he would enjoy, but he was sure if they weren’t in prison, or if the guards never showed up then he would have died. It was either that or he was going to suffer some form of embarrassment that would hunt him for the rest of his life. Still, he had been blindfolded for a number of days, which he didn’t keep count of. Instead, he placed his mind elsewhere and made sure that he would meditate and discipline himself into conserving his energy. He didn’t have food to eat, which sucked for him, but he made sure that there was a reason for him to move onward.

There was Suki who he had failed to save; the guards had come in time to prevent something bad from happening, but he had done it again. The memories of Koneko would come back, and the assumption that she had been killed haunted him all too well. While spending time in Level Six though he had soon learned to clear his mind from these things. He knew that he couldn’t let it bother him until it was confirmed. When he confirmed her death that was when he would grieve, and he figured that if Suki was alive, then he had another chance to prove that he could protect her without fail. Then he heard a sudden noise by his cell; he wasn’t sure what was going on, and he didn’t know how this level looked like. He just knew that he was not on Level Five anymore.

He could feel that they had changed the cuffs that he was wearing with something else. Whatever it was had made him feel weaker than before. He felt that this was a solid material that was doing this to him. It made him nervous with this sudden feeling; he had to calm himself as he was thinking about the time he had been placed in a cube filled with sea water. That was the last time he had felt this way, which meant that whatever was on his wrist had some type of element to the seawater that had done this to him. That was scary because it meant that the Marines were able to create a weakness for a devil fruit user into solid form. He wasn’t sure what was going on as nobody would tell him anything. He could feel himself being taken somewhere, but he wasn’t sure where.

It wouldn’t take long for him to realize what he was getting on. He had gotten on a ship and he only knew this because he could feel that his feet weren’t steady and that they were constantly swaying. Yuurei used his observation haki to see what was going on, and that was when he felt a large number of marines that were on this ship. It wasn’t just that, but there was more than one ship nearby. It brought him to think about what they were doing as he felt like it wasn’t a transfer they were doing. The thief knew that Impel Down had been a place where nobody escaped, so their reasoning to take them out of it must be something scarier. He had walked over in the direction they wanted him to move towards, and soon enough he noticed that they had taken him into another prison cell.

This time, however, they had taken off the blind from his face, and his eyes closed as soon as this happened. Yuurei would shake his head and he would slowly open his eyes to open them and get used to the lighting he had not seen in a while. He couldn’t feel the presence of anybody that he knew on this ship, but he wasn’t alone as a prisoner either. He looked to his right to see that there was another prisoner here with him. He sighed because he could feel that they were moving in the sea and he wondered where they were going.

”So, you are being taken as well. How did you get into Impel Down?” He asked his prison buddy.

Yuurei heard the paused in the man’s voice, and hoped that he wouldn’t stay quiet. He heard speak about someone and from how he was saying things the person he was teaching was the man who turned him into the marines. That actually is a bummer. The man got betrayed by the one person he probably thought he could trust more than anybody.” He thought to himself. He didn’t know how long their travel would take, but hearing the man speak about executions worried him. He was going to be executed, which was something he wasn’t fond of. The last thing he wanted to do was die without fulfilling the goals that he set for himself. He heard how he was going to be executed, which worried him because that was a swordsman’s death. The man next to him was a swordsman and that much he could confirm upon with what he had said.

The thief listened to the man ramble a lot more as he spoke about a sword name Khanda. That sword his father had spoken to him about it before. It was a weapon said to fit a king of the world. It was one of the two blades he heard about that referred to being a king that he could remember. His right hand twitched a bit as the mention of a sword excited him. He still felt weak due to the cuffs, which pissed him off.

”Khanda my father spoke to me about that sword once before.” He said to his neighbor .

After he mentioned the sword to his neighbor he started speaking about other things. He mentioned a bunch of people’s name and none of those names were familiar to Yuurei except for Soju’s that man was on the New Coo and he had become a Supernova. He was mentioned, but it wasn’t for anything crazy. He kept tabs of all the names that this man mentioned as he figured they were important or would one day become important in the world. Then something happened, Yuurei’s ears twitch, his eyes blink a few times and his head turned towards the cell next to him. The mention of his surname had surprised him quite a bit that it left him speechless. He listen to this man speak about his father, and he had learned something that he would never ever learn about his dad.

It seemed like he was a big shot back in his day even though this man didn’t mention for what. He wondered what was the mistake that caused his father to run from his pirate life, but he was probably the cause of it. He looked down to the ground as he was surprised and in shock still. He thought his father was just a blacksmith who loved swords to the death of him. The way he spoke about swords and everything showed that he loved them, but was there more to it than that?

He looked to the side of the cell as his body was shaking from excitement. He wanted to know more, he wanted to know about his father’s past, and who this man was that knew of his father.

”You know my father? I’m Jiyuu D. Yuurei, I always thought he was just a washed up blacksmith. I didn’t think he was anything else. I thought my mother and him lived the life they lived because of the cards life dealt us. She was the one that taught me how to use swords, while my father taught me about swords. Was the reason he gave up his life as a pirate was because of me?” He questioned.

If that were the case, then he had failed his father. He took the same path as him, but he ended up on a ship where he would probably die. It made him shake more and he chuckled a bit out of the fact that one mistake in fighting a crazy doctor would truly cost him his life.
