Fenrir Lokison

~The Big Bad Wolf~

Fenrir’s heart pounded as he stared all around the room. A room that was exactly a hundred and twenty-five meters in both length and width. To his back, quite a distance away was a door which led to who knows where. Above him was a single hatch and in front of him was a white screen with a simple safe laying in front of it. Fenrir had been tempted to go for the safe, but his slight movement would be hindered by the sound of a familiar voice speaking. William’s voice echoed throughout the chamber, as he told Jigsaw, well Fenrir what was about to happen. “Dammit... I knew it was too good to be true. Greed will be my downfall.” whispered Fenrir, staring at the screen before it blacked out.

Where he stood, Fenrir could feel the whole building shake as if it were about to explode. He had thought that William had gone against his word and was just going to simply destroy them all. However, from a platform a little distance (2 Meters) in front of the white screen rose a metallic being. Fenrir would only stare at the automaton. It was built like a human, but he knew it operated like a machine. It had no conscience. And no conscience meant that he couldn’t manipulate it like he did most of his enemies. As the automaton appeared, Fenrir felt as if the room was getting increasingly hotter than it already was. The metal sheets that blocked off everything seemed to isolate him in a room filled with kerosene lamps. “With how those lamps are burning. I wouldn’t be surprised if I ran out of oxygen. Though, if the Old Man wasn’t lying. I’ll die long before the carbon dioxide can kill me.” announced Fenrir, as he stared at the metallic automaton.

Two objects that resembled guns were hoisted on its shoulders. On the automaton’s chest were two holes that looked to be covered with glass. From his distance away, he could have sworn it looked like some sort of liquid was moving inside of it. As he looked at the liquid moving, Fenrir could hear a clicking sound. The eyes of the automaton would turn blue. If his eyes were closed, then he would have thought he was riding in a Sea Train. But the looks were deceiving. He had grown up on Karakuri Island. Raised by a group of scientists. He knew a steam-powered machine when he saw one. He would wait for the automaton to begin its assault, but it wouldn’t move an inch. A humming sound could be heard. The sound growing more louder than the clicking. “What th...” Fenrir’s words would be cut off as a stream of fire would be shot from both objects on the automaton’s shoulders. The streams reaching a maximum distance of forty feet before they died back down.

Fenrir had been tempted to jump backwards, but he didn’t let the flames get the best of him. The automaton was a large distance away and the flames couldn’t even reach him from where he stood. He couldn’t give the hunk of junk a chance to catch him slipping. If he knew anything, it was that even machines could operate at extreme speeds. Who knew what would happen if he left an opening? Anyway, Fenrir would continue to observe the machine. The two holes on its chest would come to be covered with steam, as it continued to charge up its engine. “That’s the engine then.” thought Fenrir, wondering how in the hell he was suppose to take the thing out in a mere five minutes. Unlike most, he wasn’t a strong individual, so he doubt he could even put a dent in the machine with a punch. He was fairly certain electro couldn’t even shorten the machine’s circuits, as it wasn’t made like the robots back in Future City.

“Steam-Engines operate by boiling the water inside of it. Maybe I could just hold it off until all the water evaporates inside of it? No... That could take thirty minutes, maybe more.” muttered Fenrir, as a few more seconds pass. Nearly a minute had passed as the machine powered up. He didn’t want to attack it just yet. He had to think of all of his options. Even if that meant spending an entire minute debating. Fenrir’s fingers would move towards the holster on his hip. If anything, the revolver could at least destroy the glass and cause the water to pour out of the machine. With a quick draw, Fenrir would pull the revolver from its holster and fire a shot. The first shot would hit the machine in its face. Directly below the left eye causing a small dent. Flicking the revolver, another bullet would be loaded. With the second shot, the bullet hadn’t gone nowhere near the machine and had hit the wall behind it. More importantly the kerosene lamp causing it to give off a small explosion of one feet in diameter.

A light bulb would click in his head, but he wouldn’t pander too much on the idea just yet. Flicking the revolver yet again, Fenrir would fire another shot that hit the automaton “left peck”. The bullet simply bounced off of the glass and landed on the floor in front of the machine. “The damn glass is bulletproof.” screamed Fenrir. His screaming almost seeming like a signal. As the machine fully activated and would begin charging aimlessly towards the wolf. It was slow at first, but it would quickly begin to gain speed. Using his abilities to his advantage, Fenrir would quickly pounce backwards. He didn’t want to get into the air just yet. He wanted to analyze the machine’s attack patterns. Try to see what its moves were so that he could launch his own counter attack.

As Fenrir moved backwards, he made sure to memorize the distance he had before he hit the wall. Similar to how it was when facing Captain Henry. Though, he knew that the robot was a bit more stronger than the marine captain. Fenrir’s face was visibly sweating as his heart was pounding. No, he wasn’t scared like most would be in the particular situation. He was honestly excited. For a week he had been on Jaya Island and was bored beyond comprehension. After traveling to Long Ring Long Land, his boredom had finally been quenched. He already had a plan intact to destroy the robot, but it would need some improvising. It was one of the main reasons himself was traveling backwards in such a fast pace. You see, William probably hadn’t thought it through when making the facility. Lining the walls were many kerosene lamps that could be used with Fenrir’s pleasure. He had already counted fifty or so lamps on the walls and was sure he would only need a good ten to go through with his plan.

Ten seconds would pass before he had finally gotten to the wall. The automaton was fifteen meters in front of him, but the wall was two feet behind him. With one last eye on the machine, Fenrir would turn around and pounce in the air. His Geppo activating as he maneuvered through the room to the lamp that hung fifteen feet above the floor. Gripping the tip of the glass, as that was where it would be the less hot. Fenrir would bring it out of its holder and blow his breath onto the small flame. He knew that after blowing he would only have a few seconds for the flame to reappear. Though, he would act before it did. Still holding the lamp by the top, Fenrir would turn back around and lunge the lamp towards the machine with his left hand (his revolver being in his right). The machine had been five meters away from him when he thrown the lamp. So, as the lamp traveled through the air. The machine would unconsciously run directly into it. Fenrir would simply take himself higher into the air. His feet making tiny steps as to keep him hovering out of distance from the automaton.

As the lamp hit the machine, it would break. Sending a blue, almost green fluid all over its chest. The fluid slowly sliding down its chest. Coating the machine with an highly flammable gas. “Nine more to go.” said Fenrir, staring at the lamps lining the wall before him. If the automaton was a human, then it might have known what Fenrir was attempting to accomplish. Sure, he could have stalled the machine for an hour or so to have all of its water evaporate, but that would have been certain death. With his current plan, Fenrir was going to cost the machine in gas. This would without a doubt cause it to catch in flames the next time it used its flamethrowers. With the gas covering its body, it would quickly heat up the water inside. Causing the steam engine to work at an even faster pace, but at the cost of all the water evaporating. With this method, Fenrir could easily take out the machine in a few minutes.

The machine wouldn’t attack Fenrir as he stepped in the air. The blue eyes only staring at the wolf. Waiting to see what his next move was going to be. Flicking his gun, Fenrir would reload it with its fourth bullet. He had two more left after he shot again, but that wouldn’t matter. In the coat pocket on his left and right was a lot of revolver ammo ready to be used. Anyway, as the machine eyed Fenrir. The wolf would slowly ease backwards before he would go into a full sprint. He was more smaller than the machine, so that meant that he moved quicker than it. Diving downwards, Fenrir would grip the top of another lamp. Using his own momentum as a force of wind, he would perform a flip towards the front. As his head neared the ground, Fenrir would throw the yet another lamp at the machine. This time, it would hit him in the left hip. The gas covering almost his entire left leg quickly. Landing on his feet, Fenrir would realize his mistake.

Just as he landed, the machine would deliver a punch (2 Speed) aiming directly for Fenrir’s chest. Yes, the Mink was agile and quick. But he was unable to react quick enough. He was able to side-step a little, but the huge fist would hit the left side of his ribs. Sending him flying backwards about ten meters down the side of the wall. “Ughhhh!” screamed Fenrir, as he heard and felt a couple of his ribs crack from the pressure. However, he wouldn’t lay there. Unlike most, he had a somewhat high tolerance for pain due to all the trials he went through on Karakuri. With a grunt, he would quickly rise from his spot and travel back into the air. His gun had been switched from his dominant hand, to the opposite. His right hand holding his ribs, as he aimed for his third lamp. He was quicker this time, and didn’t do any unnecessary flips or anything to look cool. He would simply grasp the top, blow out the flame, and throw it at the machine. This time though it didn’t hit any part of the automaton’s mechanical body. It had connected with the opening of the flamethrower on its right arm. The glass perfectly traveling through the hole and shattering as it hit the back of the chamber.

“Uh-oh.” muttered Fenrir, as he stared at the robot. Yet again, his horrible aim had been the death of him. With the highly flammable liquid sweeping through the flamethrower. Who knew what would happen the next time it ejected its flames. Fenrir had already found it odd that it hadn’t sent a stream of flames since the first time. If he was right, then the machine would without a doubt send another stream of flames sooner or later. Which meant that he had to distance himself from the machine. He didn’t want to get caught up in an explosion of the type. Probably loosing his life before the main event even happened. However, the machine didn’t have the same mind as Fenrir. It didn’t know anything about gas exploding and shit like that. So, it simply charged towards Fenrir. Though, this time it moved faster (Speed 3). At the speed it was traveling, Fenrir was certain the only thing he could do was jump through the air in hopes of it not reaching him. And that was exactly what he did. As the robot covered the distance between them, Fenrir would increase his height above the ground. Ten meters was between himself and the robot as it was still running.

However, as it ran, the clicking sound would grow. It would visibly get shorter as its gears caused its legs to cave in. With a bang, it would shoot into the air as if it were a rocket directly towards Fenrir. His eyes would widen in surprise as it “instantly” appeared right in front of his face. The sound of air being broken could be heard as yet another punch was delivered by the machine. This time the fist hitting him and the stomach and sending him towards the ground. However, it’s attack didn’t stop there. As Fenrir traveled towards the ground at a quick speed (1). The humming sound from earlier could be heard. Fenrir could see the objects on the machine’s shoulders turning red as it charged up the flames. The left side of the machine sounded normal, but right side sounded like a car breaking down. Black smoke would erupt from the flamethrower’s opening before a jet of flames were produced from both sides. However, the ones from the left were deeper in color and let off a loud bang as they rushed towards Fenrir. The automaton’s body would jerk to the right. The explosion missing him only buy a little as to not receive the full force. Though, from the angle the robot now had. Fenrir would be grazed by the flames coming from the opposite flamethrower. The flames eating at the right side of his torso. Tearing through his clothing before giving him third degree burns.

He looked as he now charged towards the ground at an even quicker pace. The entire left side of the automaton had been blown to bits. Pieces of metal falling on the floor as it hit the wall nearest to the door where Jigsaw was suppose to come out of. Ironically, the flamethrower that was still intact would be pointed at the door. So, if anyone was to come in they would be met with it in there face. Not like it would do anything since the robot was now down. The water it had been using to run its engine pouring out onto the floor. Fenrir, having hit the ground would slowly roll along it. Taking care of the flames before they ate his whole body away. Rising slowly, he would look down at himself. Realizing that the right side of his body from his shoulder and down to his leg was rather odd looking. Reaching down, he would pick up his pistol before slowly stumbling towards the piles of rubble.

Fenrir quickly ran his hands through the piles of rubble. Trying to find the key that would open the safe, leading to the treasure of his dreams. What he had thought to be him going unconscious was the exact opposite. He had been rubbing his left eye while looking through the rubble and had found blood on his hands. Experimenting, he had closed his right eye leaving the opposite one open. Only to find out that he couldn’t see out of his left eye. Alongside his slave tatto, was huge gash. A sheet of metal had sliced his face, as well as his eye. Leaving vision in only one of his rotating balls. A single tear would drop from his eyes as he continued to shift through the rubble. He wasn’t about to give up just yet.

His mission had been to retrieve the fruit and obtain a bunch of riches. Even if that meant die trying. He had three minutes left and if he needed to use all three of them up to search for the key, then that was exactly what he was going to do. Removing his free hand from his eye, Fenrir would nearly throw the rubble around as he searched for the key, or hell even something that looked remotely possible like a key. He prayed that the thing hadn’t been destroyed alongside the robot. His hand ran through the metal. Tearing the skin from his palms causing blood to seep from them. He looked like a mad man as he searched through the pile of rubble. Looking into the air, Fenrir would stare at the metal covered ceiling. Tears would fall from his eyes. He had lost and for what reason? Some stupid old man who wanted to play tricks. His greed was really now the death of him. Tears fell from his face as he stared at the sky. “Please! Whatever god that’s out there! Help me get out of this situation and I will turn my life around for the better. Hell! I’ll even work with the marines to clean the seas from pirates.” begged Fenrir, praying to whatever mystical force that slept in the heavens above.

Looking back down towards the ground as tears fell from his eyes. He would see a piece of metal that didn’t look like the others. The robot and flamethrower had been made from steel and bronze. However, the shiny piece of metal he looked at now looked like... Silver? Fenrir would run towards the puddle of water five feet away from him. Slipping and falling on his face. He could see his reflection in the water and almost cried out and how bad his face looked. Ignoring it, Fenrir would reach for the piece of metal. In his hand were the remains of a key. The loop at the end had been separated. So, what he held in his hand was the part that you had to insert inside of the actual lock. Producing his claws from his fingers, Fenrir would grip the key as close to the edge as he possibly could and run for the safe. If anyone else looked, then they would say that the man glided across the floor.

In a matter of moments he appeared in front of the safe that had been safe from the explosion. Though, he doubt that the explosion would have even put a dent in the thing. Without a second thought, Fenrir would slowly insert the key into the lock and do his best to twist it. There were times when he nearly lost grip and had the calm himself before he was over. Though, each time he regained his composure. On what felt like the hundredth time, Fenrir had finally heard the click as the lock fell from the safe. Opening it, Fenrir would be met with the sight of a fruit. It looked like a pineapple, but instead of spikes. There were several inscriptions all over the fruit. It looked like someone had carved the letter “S” into the thing multiple times. Fenrir didn’t know what a Devil Fruit looked like. Hell, at the moment he didn’t even care. Without a second thought, his hand shot for the fruit and brought it to his mouth. His fangs dug into the flesh, as the nearly poisonous taste filled his mouth. He gagged every now and then, but he was able to consume the whole thing.

Holding his hands out as if about to receive an hug. Fenrir would wonder why he didn’t feel a tad bit different. Though, he wouldn’t let that faze him. He now had two minutes left and within those two minutes he needed to do whatever the hell he could do in order to escape the room.

Final Prompt

Finally completing the puzzle within the room, Jigsaw heard the sound of explosions and loud crashes from the room above. Honestly, he'd been pissed that someone beat him to the punch on climbing this tower, as he'd already invested resources and time that could've no longer regained. Upon completing the puzzle, no staircase revealed itself, but from the ground a giant platform in the form of a lift emerged. Hopping onto the lift, Jigsaw and his men examined the fixture, noticing a panel with two arrows, 'Up' and 'Down', as the only means of navigation. Pressing the button for 'Up', the lift began to incline on what appeared to be a hang glide, towards the door several feet off the ground. As the lift approached the door opened, and what lied on the other-side caused a smile to stretch across Jigsaw's face. Fire, chaos, and the smell of blood, all of which made the man cry out in glee, a laughter that rocked the whole room as the lift approached. Hopping off the lift, the man scanned the room with Kenbunshoku Haki, signalling to his men to have their rifles and pistols ready, Jigsaw had no plans of talking with the Wolf Mink, actually, he'd already began to plot in his mind, how he'd dissect him.

Approaching from the Southern Entrance to the room, the backdraft from suddenly opening the door caused the metal on the lift to melt, causing the platform to fall several hundred feet to it's doom. Both parties were now locked in this room, and the only salvation falling several feet, and hopefully surviving the drop or breaking through the steel panel windows. However, the smoke from the gasoline fire wasn't dispersing, breathing became alarmingly difficult, and many of Jigsaw's grunts couldn't handle the climate, feeling giddy headed but Jigsaw dashed forward, having the Mink in sights from about one-hundred and fifty meters away. He'd ready his pins, combat was the only ranks of survival now. Yet, only two minutes remained and Jigsaw was resolved on death.

The sound of a door open caught Fenrir’s attention. Both of his ears twitching causing him to turn completely around. Facing the only entrance/exit into the room. That was his way out and he knew it. Everything else had been sealed off and he didn’t have the power nor energy to get through the metal. The face would make its appearance, along with a group of grunts (9). Stepping out of what appeared to be an elevator of some sort. Almost instantly after stepping into the room, the lift would fall back to where it came from. Crashing to prices, similar to what had happened to the automaton only moments before. Fenrir’s mouth would form into a sneer. Showing his anger and pain at the same time. A few moments would pass as him and Jigsaw observed each other. Like stated, the grunts couldn’t handle the new environment. So, four of them had fallen unconscious in the oven. Then, without a word Jigsaw would rush forward towards Fenrir.

The puppet trying to cover the distance between the two as quickly as he could. Though, Fenrir would let the man get advantage on him. So as Jigsaw rushed forward, so would he. In his right hand he held his revolver still equipped with three bullets. One in the chamber, ready to disperse into Jigsaw at a moment’s notice. He doubt he would be able to reload any bullets after firing all of the shots. So, he had to make all three of them count in the short timespan. Fenrir didn’t care how lame or weak it was taking out his opponent with a gun. This wasn’t a situation to decide who held the most respect. This was a life or death situation. The survival of the fittest. At this moment, Fenrir was the Apex Predator, and he was going to show everyone in the room why.

Both him and Jigsaw ran at a half their maximum speed (1). Their speed gradually building up overtime, as they crossed the length of a football field and more. All the while, Fenrir would be pointing his gun directly in Jigsaw’s direction. In hopes that when he fired his shots they wouldn’t miss. He wasn’t worried much about the grunts. With the slight smoke, fire, and poisonous gas in the air. He was sure they would be down long before he got into range. And if they weren’t, he would simply take them out with a small attack. Finally at the fifty meter mark, both Jigsaw and Fenrir would begin their respective attacks. Jigsaw would produce three small needles from a pouch on his hip. Throwing them in Fenrir’s direction, but like Fenrir. The puppet was no master in marksmanship, so two of the needles would fly helplessly pass Fenrir. The other sticking itself directly into his left shoulder. As he got hit by the needle, Fenrir would be pulling the trigger of the revolver. The loud shot firing, as the bullet flew through the smoke. Putting itself right into the stomach of Jigsaw.

Jigsaw would cough up blood as he continued to rush towards the Mink. Both of them knew the fight had to be short if they even wanted a chance of survival. So, each hit was either to immobilize their opponent or take them out. Jigsaw having yet to throw his poisonous needles, as he didn’t want to waste them in a situation like this. He would rather get closer before he used them on his opponent. The needle he had just used though had an agent that caused slight paralysis. The liquid already taking its affects. Causing Fenrir to lose all mobilization in his left arm. Leaving only his right arm to be functional. Though, no matter how painful it was, Fenrir did his best to hold onto the gun and fire it.

The distance was now 25 meters between him and Jigsaw. The puppet once again going into his pouch to produce more needles. However, this time Fenrir knew what he was doing. Flicking the revolver as soon as the man’s hand reached for the pouch. Fenrir would place another bullet in the chamber and fire it again before Jigsaw’s hand came out of the bag. The bullet would once again travel through the air with speeds not no one in the room could comprehend. The bullet placing itself in the left arm of Jigsaw. A couple of inches above his wrist. Fenrir hadn’t been aiming for the arm. He had actually tried to hit him in his chest. Luckily, the bullet didn’t veer to much off course. It was actually in his favor, as the puppet’s arm fell limp to his side. A couple of needles falling from the bag as he felt the pain from the wound. Unlike Fenrir, Jigsaw wasn’t built for physical pain. That type of pain was leagues above the emotional pain he had a resistance against. So, his right hand would clasp his stomach and his left arm would twitch. The bullet in his stomach still in place. Moving everywhere as he ran towards Fenrir. Though, the bullet he had fired through his arm went completely through. Destroying bone and veins alike.

A smirk would make its way pass the pain Fenrir felt. The distance between him and Jigsaw was now a mere five meters. Jumping into the air, Fenrir would step quickly as Jigsaw rushed towards him. Surprising the puppet as he was now a couple of feet above him. Jigsaw had passed right under Fenrir, leaving his back completely open. Fenrir could hear shots firing, hell he even felt one hit him in his leg. He couldn’t tell if it was a flesh wound or a major one though. Through the smoke, he could see three grunts left standing. Although, yet another had fell unconscious after hitting Fenrir with the rifle. He would wince as he felt the pain in his left leg. Though, he didn’t let that stop him. As Jigsaw was turning around, Fenrir would deliver a kick towards the man. A blade of air cutting through the flames and smoke heading directly for puppet. Jigsaw would turn around quickly with surprised eyes to see the air blade heading his way. It operated at the speed of one, but even with his high perception he couldn’t avoid the attack. He had made the wrong move, as he mind unconsciously focused on his pain. The blade hitting him in the chest, sending him flying about ten meters backwards. Fenrir didn’t even look to see what type of damage had been dealt (a deep gash bleeding severely is on Jigsaw’s chest). Due to this, as the attack hit, Fenrir would completely turn around and land back on the ground.

There was only a minute left. He could feel his body shutting down, but at the same time he could feel it powering up in some way. Blue electricity crackled around him (this is only for looks). His mind trying it’s best to ignore the pain as he made his way to the doorway that was fifty meters away.

As the final sixty seconds counted down, Fenrir could feel the ground connected to his feet shake. In front of him, through the smoke were two grunts that had survived in the harsh environment. But even now they had grown week. With each step, fusing Geppo with his acrobatics, Fenrir would cover a distance of five feet. It looked like he was leaping like a cheetah chasing his prey. His feet barely touching the ground as he made his way towards the only opening in the room. As he got within twenty-five meters of the grunts. They would reload their rifles and fire two single shots. Fenrir could hear the bullets whiz by. One tearing the skin from his right ear. Tears fell from his eyes as he felt the pain from his leg. Although, he knew it only to be a flesh wound as it didn’t feel like the pain in neither his eye, or left arm. Anyway, one of the grunts would fall, but the last stood and was doing his best to reload another bullet. He was fidgeting, so it was hard for him to do so. Taking a deep breath, Fenrir would flick the revolver yet again. The last bullet rolling into place, making its way in the chamber. A single shot would fire. The bullet traveling through the barrel and through the air. Impacting itself right on the forehead of the grunt. Traveling through his skull and out of the other end. Hitting the steel wall behind him. All of that was done while being fifteen meters away from the grunt.

Fenrir grunted as he dived forward towards the opening. Unknowingly to him, Jigsaw had been following behind, albeit slow with ten needles in both hands. He didn’t know which were which, but with a last attack, he would scream “If I’m dying, then you’re dying with me!” He would throw the needles faster than Fenrir could react. Most of them would miss the Mink as he had already been diving down the hole, but three had hit him. One in his lower back, another in his right arm, and the last in his neck. He could feel the numbness, losing the ability to move his limbs. He would grunt, shallow breaths escaping from his lips. Doing his best to save up as much fresh air as he could while beginning his descent. The puppet had taken out his arms, but he still had his legs. That the only thing needed in order to get out of the exploding building.

Diving down to the depths, Fenrir would flip in midair by pushing his legs upwards. With his feet aimed towards the ground, he would perform quick and light steps as he literally floated down safely to the floor Jigsaw had been previously on. It only took ten seconds for him to make it to that floor. His feet touching the ground softly. Though, as soon as he felt his feet touch the ground, he would rush towards what looked to be a staircase. He could see that it was spiraling downwards. Even he could run down the whole thing with only forty seconds left. As if he was doing parkour, Fenrir would place his hand on the edge of the stairs and leap over them. He could feel the wind rushing past his face as he plummeted all the way down to the first floor. However, as he fell down, every fifteen feet or so he would perform a small step so that he wouldn’t be falling too fast. He didn’t want to perform Geppo and end up shattering his leg in the process.

His descent took and entire twenty-five seconds. Leaving only fifteen seconds for him left as his feet touched the ground. Unlike before, this time Fenrir would stay in the air. The falling having built up his speed. He was now moving at maximum speed towards what appeared to be a light in the distant. The light was approximately fifteen meters away from him and with every step he covered a distance of three feet. But with every step a second would pass. Sweat built all over his body as he could feel the ground shaking even harder. As he ran along the cement, he could see the ground crack. Fenrir having to step higher every now and then to avoid falling. A loud explosion could be heard behind him, as he felt a searing heat on his back just as he walked into the light. The silver moon shines down on him as he continued to run. The sound would grow louder as the entire island shook. He could feel the air behind him pushing him forward, enhancing his speed in a sort of way. Taking to the skies once again with Geppo, Fenrir would be thrown forward into the tree-line. His body hitting the whole of a tree. As he rolled to the ground, the Mink would instantly fall unconscious. No one knew if he would experience death, or if he had some life still left in him.

~The Big Bad Wolf~

Fenrir would stir, but he could feel something holding him down in place. Opening his eyes, well eye slowly, he would come to see that he was staring at a ceiling. With a nearly blinding white light down onto him. Raising his neck slightly, he would look down at his body. Both of his legs were wrapped in a lot of bandages, along with the whole of his torso, and both arms. “What the hell happened?” muttered Fenrir, as he his head hit a pillow he didn’t know he had. After muttering the words, the memory of the previous events would go through his mind. The last thing he had remembered was hitting a huge tree at full force. His right eye would widen, causing him to jump up. Though, like state, he was in restraints. So, when he shot up, he would only be redirected back on the bed. The force from hitting the belts sending pain throughout his whole body.

“You’re a rather odd and smart individual. I sat and watched your fight with my Automaton and the short fight you had with Jigsaw. Do tell me how you gained those sorts of abilities?” asked a voice. Fenrir could feel his kind that he knew the voice, but didn’t say anything. He was the one in restraints. He didn’t want to do anything that would lead to him going back unconscious. Deciding to somewhat play along, Fenrir would say “Who are you and where am I?” There would be a long pause of silence. Thirty seconds if he counted correctly. A sigh could be heard “I’m surprised you don’t recognize my voice. I’ve been the one directing both you and Jigsaw since you landed on my islands.” said the voice in a nonchalant tone. The sound of a old man would travel through his ears. William? Fenrir’s eyes would be filled with red as his kind with bloodlust. The rusty beard man was the reason he was in this situation. He would grunt and moan as he did his best to get out of the restraints.

“Don’t worry young wolf. I’m not going to hurt you. Hell, over this pass week, me and my automatons have been taking care of you. I thought you were going to be asleep forever. You better be happy I have a little medical history up my sleeve or you would have been one dead pup.” laughed the old man, as if mocking the Mink. A sneer would appear on Fenrir’s face, showing his fangs. Though, his anger would die down as he listened to the man’s words. A week!? That was how long he had been out? “What do you mean a week?” asked Fenrir. He could hear the shuffling of footsteps, as a figure would come to stand above him. With his eye having been fixed on the light. It was hard to focus in on the man’s face. “Exactly what I said. You were out an entire week, but don’t worry. The islands of Long Ring Long Land know of your heroism from defeating the entire Jigsaw Pirates crew by yourself. You’ve been named as a savior by most. Although, others still see you as a large threat. I mean, you did take out nearly an whole marine battalion.” said William, telling Fenrir the events that had transpired over the week.

He would close his eye. His mind once again going over the events from a week ago. The taste of the Devil’s Fruit was still stuck in his mouth. “You put me through all of that whether you know it or not. Only for me to consume a fake fruit filled with poison. Old Man, what type of games are you playing around here?” asked Fenrir, his voice filled with anger. Opening his eye, his vision would focus as he could see the man’s full face. He could see that William’s face changed, but instantly returned to normal. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. That supernatural fruit was completely authentic. Hell, do you know what I did to obtain it. I’m sure the abilities just haven’t awakened in your body yet, pup.” answered the old man. Fenrir would nod, he was playing along for now, but as soon as he was free he would cut the old man down. “Though, don’t think your heroics are for nothing. Like promised on my first video. You have been awarded riches. Alongside the Devil Fruit, I have a extremely large amount of beli at the ready to give to you. That is if you don’t kill me once you’re fully healed up? Hmm?” said William, telling Fenrir that he still was going to hold up his end of the deal.

Fenrir was about to speak again, but would be cut off “Get your rest though because when you awaken I have something to tell you. It involves a man by the name of Toy King Momo.” said William, as he left the room. Leaving Fenrir to emotions ranging from happiness, sadness, and revenge.
