Legosi had just narrowly avoided a jab aimed his left eye from Goh's knife when the two collided, while his own right fist, aimed for the man's gut, was stopped by his free left hand. It seemed that with Legosi clasping his own left arm over Goh's right, the two were already stuck in their first lock of the duel, not even a few moments into the battle itself as of yet. "I let your kind into my ring, and this is how you repay me?! I should've left you starvin' in the cold when you came to me for work." He could see the fury in the man's empty grey eyes and how it twisted his face into something more ugly and intimidating than before. What was once the penguin-like wobbling rude bastard that people would make fun of as he left the room would now be something akin to what he most likely was in his old days, back when he was a cold-hearted killer.
His arm wiggled free of Legosi's hold, the weapon freed again, although this also freed Legosi as well, as when Goh went to stab him once more with that dagger the deer mink would actually push himself away from the man, using his longer arm length to his advantage as he would just narrowly escape his reach, the jacket of his suit getting a nice uneven hole sliced right through it. Legosi would take off his jacket, holding it in his left hand as Goh moved in again, slashing and stabbing wildly in the air in front of the deer mink. Immediately Legosi would toss the jacket in the man's face, blinding him temporarily and stopping the knife from cutting him as he moved in, lowering himself and charging towards Goh at full speed. He felt the top of his head hit his gut, but he knew by then he shouldn't have, especially since he felt a heavy hand slam directly into his back, knocking him onto his knees.
"What the hell did you think that was gonna do?! Dumbass!" He heard the fat man scream as he saw his jacket land onto the ring floor, and a hand grab his muzzle tightly, shutting Legosi's mouth and also keeping the deer in place. 'Shit.. forgot about my antlers shedding.' He really was stupid, he should've considered that earlier, but instead was too accustomed to using them to get the upper advantage. He had to think of something fast, especially with Goh's right hand visibly pointing the knife towards Legosi's gut. He couldn't let that weapon be a factor in this fight. Any longer and the sloppy deer will end up accidentally letting the blade carve him into venison. Although right now with it in sight he could predict where it would go. Even with his mouth and snout hurting like hell from that tight grip, Legosi could still defend himself.
As the knife went towards his gut, he would bring both hands down like a venus flytrap catching a fly, roughly slamming into Goh's arm from both sides, pushing against it and away from Legosi, his humanoid hands keeping a firm hold on Goh's arm and just barely preventing the knife from penetrating his flesh. For a split-second Legosi felt a hint of relief wash over him, although before he could properly react Goh himself fell onto him, knocking the two of them to the ground. The most he could do was force the man's wrist to twist just enough to make the blade go flat between them, not stabbing into anything.
As the two were on the ground, Legosi used this moment to dig his right fingers into Goh's right wrist, and moved his left hand to the knife. Through the pained snarls he felt the man's grip on both Legosi's snout and muzzle and his grip on the knife release, allowing for the deer to knock Goh off and disarm him at the same time, where he would get back up, tossing the blade a short distance away. This maneuver made his back ache from his slamming into the ground with a fat man on top of him, it ached almost as if he had been slammed into a bunch of rocks, with a mixture of dull pain and prickly sensations seething through it. He would be satisfied though, because not Goh had no weapon to help him, only a lot of wrath as the two were now equals in the ring.
Honestly he should've just attacked the man while he was down, but Legosi had never seen him fight before. For all he knew Goh would be wanting just that, could turn the tables because of it, even. The man had a bounty, so he wasn't about to risk his upper hand on factors he didn't know. "Stupid fuckin' useless trash. The only reason yer here anyways is cause of that last name of yers. You don't even deserve it!" Immediately Goh moved at a faster speed than Legosi thought he could move at, charging at the deer and tackling him to the ground, his right hand immediately wrapping around his throat. "That's a damn good last name. Yer dad messed up bad because of you. None of this would've happened if you just stayed in yer place!" Legosi struggled underneath the force of the man, his hands moving to his arm, grabbing onto it tightly. As he struggled, Goh lifted his hand and to an extent Legosi's head up, only to slam it hard into the floor, causing the deer's visibility to black out for a split second before returning.
"Yer better off stayin' a slave!"
Legosi's eyes opened up wide with surprise, his airways were blocked off and he began to feel his consciousness slip away, but his senses were regained in that moment. He thought no one knew about that, but here someone was, not only knowing it but going to an extent of knowing his family as well. His eyes glasses over, everything felt like it was in slow motion, and he could barely process through the events that were happening at this moment. Goh was choking him, Goh knew about his family, Goh knew about his past, but how did he know these things? When and where did he figure these out?
A young Legosi felt nothing as he was but a few weeks into settling into this place that these hairless monkeys called a "home". With a loose short sleeve shirt put on and a pair of pants donned his mom faced him, smiling sweetly at him even despite his antlers tearing apart the collar of yet another shirt he had, leaving small tears and holes at the top. "Perfect!" He could hear her exclaim with a tone as sweet and smooth as honey. He felt nothing that he could explain with words. His limited vocabulary didn't allow for him to find the words, but to instead stand their in silence, large blank eyes blinking at her, his head tilting slightly to the left as he felt mixed feelings within.
He couldn't understand why she acted as if the past hour wasn't a mess of just getting the damn thing to fit over just one of his antlers, let alone both. He didn't understand why she had a smile all the way through, or why she had even bothered. The other monkeys didn't bother after the first few weeks of anger, leaving him pretty shirtless throughout most of his childhood, but so far ever since he was here all he had seen was anything but anger and frustration from her. She would always act like it wasn't a tedious moment every day when it had to be put on, or every night when it would have to be taken off. Just thinking of the various clothes and pillows and blankets he had ruined made the young deer reach up, yanking on his antlers again in a moment of desperate frustration.
"No no no, don't do that, little Lego. You'll break them." He felt her gentle hands touch his skin as he struggled with yanking on them, his skin touching hers immediately making him jump away, whimpering loudly as he cowered away from her soft touch, his face twisting from fear, although he would calm himself as he saw no wrath in her own eyes, but concern. His shoulders would slowly lower and his muscles would begin to relax, and before he knew it his eyes were blurry from tears.
When she touched him again, he would jump a little bit, but would force himself to stay still, and before he knew it he felt the arms of a hairless monkey wrap around him, pulling him into a tight embrace and leaving his head looking over her shoulder. "I've been waiting so long to finally touch you. I'm so happy I can now." Her sweet tone cracked slightly, and despite everything inside him telling him to try to break free and flee, he instead mimicked what she was doing, and tried wrapping his arms around her as well, finally recognizing what the feeling was that he was feeling. Comfort.
"Are you seriously cryin' right now?!" Legosi's blurring vision left the safe place within the confines of his mind, coming back to the cold reality awaiting him. He felt wetness around his eyes, the cold tears lining his face as the feeling of being unable to breathe finally set in, and he was left struggling harder than before. One punch to Goh's arm followed by another with his right hand, although it would soon be pinned as well by Goh's free hand, but Legosi was no longer thinking right now. He was panicking in fear, wanting nothing more than to get out so he can live and see his mother again. With his left hand he would let go of Goh's arm, curling his fingers into a fist with the pointer and middle fingers sticking stiffly outwards, where he would quickly jab it into Goh's right eye as hard as he can.
"Fuck!" Goh's grip was no longer around Legosi's neck. Instead the straddling fat man reeled backwards, holding onto his face for dear life while Legosi himself was left coughing and gasping for breath, taking those few brief moments to recover somewhat before twisting his hips and pushing Goh off of him with a sharp right hook to the man's left cheek, knocking him off of him, where Goh would immediately get back up and face the deer, receiving a hand hand around his neck as well however, with the tearing up mink glaring into Goh's open left eye, his teeth gritting as he got onto one knee, and then began to stand. "I'm. No. Slave!" He shouted as he began to lift his right arm up. The fat man's weight was enough to make Legosi feel like his arm was going to snap off at any second, but through the sheer will he held thanks to a cocktail mixture of anger and adrenaline, Goh's feet were off the ground, and the ringleader was now an entire foot off the ground.
Then, as if God was slamming a meteor against the earth, Legosi would bring his right arm downwards with all of his might, screaming the entire way downwards up until Goh slammed hard against the concrete floor, the top of his back and the bottom portion of his neck impacting first before anything else, a small cloud of dirt and dust actually coming up from the floor thanks to the impact.
After the initial impact, Legosi would get on his right knee, breathing heavily as he looked down at the dazed Goh. His head was killing him and his vision was pulsing in and out of focus. He could feel his heart beat inside of him, and yet this only encouraged him to pull the man up to a sitting position, his hand still around his neck as they were breathing distance from one another. "You're going to have nothing left soon, Goh." With that whisper, Legosi figured he should check on the others, seeing and hoping they as well were doing alright now that he was regaining his senses.
