The fire burned and produced pink smoke as two rabbits cooked. The rabbits were also pink. "All this pink does get annoying after a while, right?" Kah asked with a sigh. He gazed off into the sky thinking only about his future. Bunda tended to the food and occasionally turned the dead rabbits to make sure that both sides were cooked.
"I know we should be in the towns soon, but then what?" Bunda completely ignored Kahseh's question. He was an eager elder man who always needed to make sure there was a plan in place even if it meant bugging his superior about it.
"We get to the towns, search for our men and buy a ship." He responded nonchalantly as if he hadn't really cared about what would happen to them next. They had Beli but it probably wasn't enough to buy them a ship or anything important at that. Bunda nodded. There was nothing to be tense about after successfully raiding a village, especially since it was only the two of them against them all. Still, this convo was going to become frustrating if it didn't end soon. Bunda always asked questions as if he needed to know. Dammit, just follow the leader. "There's a chance that we won't have enough to buy a ship but even then we can't just stop. The goal in mind is to take our land back. We can't let anything get in the way of that."
"And what if we can't find our men? We'll go back just the two of us and start taking over other viking villages and claiming other territories? Then we'll force the Happo Navy to follow us or the two of us will destroy them?" Kahseh didn't once look towards Bunda. Instead he continued gazing upon the pink sky. He was listening. Bunda shook his head and moved to the other side of the fire, poking at the rabbits while picking his teeth. The bronze man didn't respond. "Alright...say we do somehow get back home, how will you get the others to follow you?" Bunda looked at Kahseh, patiently waiting for his reply. The young Raider's eyes dropped to Bunda's eye level but his gaze still portrayed boredom.
"Nobody likes the Chinjao's after what they've done to our village. I'm sure another viking village will take me in for being the son of the great Viking Lord Tristan Raider." He spoke in a sarcastic tone, but he was serious. His father was well respected where he was from. "Even if they don't, I'll find a way to take back our home without them."
"And the Happo Navy? Did you even think about the Happo Navy?"
Kahseh sat up and fully faced his elder. Who the hell did he take him for? Did he think that Kah was a child when it came to these matters? As if he hadn't already thought about all of this? The Raider frowned. "Of course I thought about the Happy Navy. If they mind their business they won't have to deal with us, but if they do I'll force them to swear their loyalty to me or kill them all. Understand, my fate is to take my home back. Whether I die trying or succeed is up to the gods at this point. It may seem impossible but you need to trust that I'll find a way. If somehow I can't take Karakuri, then we'll take another land. Simple. I refuse to live the rest of my days as nothing other than a great lord like my father. It is my right. The world government has taken everything I loved away from me, so I'm going to take what I am owed." Kahseh paused before turning away once more. "Even if you don't trust in me...trust in your damn gods." it was the first time Kahseh used the word "Your" when referring to the gods completely catching the navigator off guard. He wanted to respond but didn't want to build any more tension. The sea-strong poked at the rabbits before realizing they were well cooked. They smelled amazing and not just because they hadn't eaten all day.
Surely anybody close by could hear them discussing matters but they didn't expect anyone to be around. Just in case though Kahh had his sword sheathed on his waist, his dagger under his cloak on his lower back and his bow across his back. Bunda picked up the stick for Kahseh and handed it to him. "Enjoy." he said as he bit into his own cooked rabbit.

As usual, Bojack and Johanna were walking aimlessly around the island of Momoiro at the time when the two vikings had their conversation. An arm over Johanna's shoulder, Bojack's mind was literally blank as he allowed his feet to move and carry his body beneath them. Staring ahead as he walked the two moved without speaking Bojack simply kept his ears ready for anything that would catch his attention. Before long his attention would be grabbed not by a sound but by the smell of smoke. Almost without paying attention Bojack would allow his nose to lead him in the direction the smoke was coming from."Hmmm. Where would there be smoke at out here?" Going in the direction of the smoke Bojack would lead Johanna to a location where they were unsure of what lied within, pulling her in closer to himself unconsciously.
'What is this goofball doing now?' Her thoughts would ring within her head, not matching her physical reaction in the slightest. Somewhat comforted by his closeness Johanna didn't make the barest of attempts to distance herself.
Before long the two would arrive at the source of the fire, able to see the two people but remaining hidden due to both the lack of attention being paid by the two vikings as well as the trees that surrounded the clearing in which Kah and Bunda sat. The two would miss the majority of the conversation, but would catch the tail end. At hearing Kah talk about his intention of taking from the world government what he was owed, and his apparent distaste for religion Bojack's interest would be piqued. "That guy is interesting, he's exactly the sort of person I usually like to work with."
Bojack's intention wouldn't be unknown to Johanna, who saw the same look on his face now that he wore before he forced her into her current position of servitude. "So, you gonna force that guy to work for you by killing everyone around him like you did to me?" Johanna knew the answer, but she wanted to hear it from Bojack's mouth. She wanted to see Bojack show his weakness.
"Of course not, I only did that to you because you were weak and I knew I could easily manipulate you." Bojack's words would serve to instantly ruin Johanna's delusions, both of her value to Bojack and of his weakness. "This guy...I think he'd be more useful as an ally than any sort of servant. Unless you say something stupid I think I might be able to befriend this guy peacefully."
As Johanna scoffed at the notion that she'd be the one to make the mistake that lead to their failure to acquire an ally, Bojack moved towards the two vikings, taking his arm off of Johanna quickly while he seemed to glide towards them. "Hey, you got any rabbit for us? We're starving."
The friends sat and ate in silence. At first Kahseh could hear whispers somewhere around them, so as expected he'd put his food down and slowly draw his bow. He didn't know where the voices were coming from, nor could he her exactly what they were saying but he could definitely hear voices. Bunda widened his eyes and Kahseh put his rabbit on a stone beside him to hold his bow and arrow, looking around without making a sound. Bunda didn't have his own weapon, so instead he grabbed a rock as a means of self defense. The young Raider put his pointer finger up to his lips to tell his companion to be silent. Whether they made noise or not didn't matter now anyway, they were already spotted. Why would anybody be out here? There was nothing but trees and wildlife out here.
"Hey, you got any rabbit for us? We're starving"
The second Kah heard a voice he turned with his bow facing directly at the man, then would proceed to ask for food. He seemed to be alone but if that was the case then who would he be talking to? The viking signaled with his eyes for Bunda to check exactly where the stranger came from to see if there was another stranger there.
"Who are you?" He asked completely disregarding his request for some rabbit. Bunda and Kah had to be on their guard at all times. Who knows if the world government was out here searching for them or if they were just targets for anyone. Bunda would approach where the girl was standing at this point, revealing her existence to him. He'd attempt to grab her by her collar and pull her out quickly, lining her up with the man she was with.
"Are ya'll following us? The hell are you out here sneaking' around for?"

When Bojack stepped out into the open and the man sprung to his feet to aim a bow at him, he would have no choice but to break out laughing. His hearty laughter would be loud enough to be heard by anyone within the forested area, and would come with a single tear that he'd wipe away before speaking,"There's no need for that. I only want to sit and talk with you. You don't need to share your food if you don't want and you definitely don't need to worry about fighting." Then Bojack would put his hands above his head in a gesture that was meant to be a surrender, though his hands would also be at a position where he could reach and grab his climatact if the situation couldn't be saved.
While Bojack was calmy walking towards Kahseh, Johanna was being approached by his partner. She'd begin to make a move towards where Bojack was upon hearing his words but she'd be stopped by the older man stepping in front of her and reaching out as if he wanted to grab her. Reacting quickly, Johanna would move with her full speed, slashing at the arm of the man. While there was no intention of actually harming him, she'd move at a speed he'd likely be unable to perceive, with intentions of lightly grazing his forearm and getting him to back off. Whether her attack was successful in getting him to stop trying to grab her, she'd still try to launch herself away from Bunda towards Bojack, once again moving near her maximum speed to move quickly. "I do not like that man."
Upon seeing Johanna appear seemingly out of thin air, he'd smile at her words. "It's fine Johanna," He'd say directed at her, before looking directly into the eyes if Kahseh despite still talking to Johanna,"These fine gentlemen are just a bit frazzled, its to be expected considering we just jumped out at them out of nowhere. Let's all calm down for a second." Taking his climatact off of his back, Bojack would look down at Johanna and say,"Why don't you hold my climatact for me?" Bojack would then move the 8 foot long wooden staff down towards Johanna, though he'd actually keep it in his hand after receiving a dirty look from his assistant.
Kahseh continued to hold his bow aimed directly at the mans skull. Should he try anything funny, then he would be killed on the spot. However, the long haired man didn't seem to have anything funny in mind but it was clear that he had other intentions. He just "wanted to talk" even saying that Kahseh didn't need to share his food. Bunda on the other hand was having his luck with the woman. It was always bad luck for him when it came to the ladies. The Navigator quickly saw as the woman drew her sword so he wasted no time in taking his arm back swiftly, just missing the slice that would have damaged his arm, however his sleeve had been sliced. The woman moved quickly beside her man. She was a gorgeous woman too and to have such speed could only mean that she was a fighter as well. As soon as she moved, Kah turned his bow toward her. The woman declared that Bunda was a man she disliked, much like most women the navigator encountered. "Oi, but who said I liked you, whore?" There was no holding his tongue back when it came to his words and Kah had no right to shut him up. The navigator drew his sword right before the man before them spoke again telling his companion that it was alright, even handing his weapon known as a "Climatact" over to her. Seeing the man remove his arms, Kahseh lowered his bow. "You said you wanted to talk..." he spoke coldly. The giant Raider turned around and moved back towards where there food had been cooking, picking up his cooked rabbit before sitting. Bunda on the other hand did not move, instead he'd wait until their guests sat. "Here..." Kah said as he lifted the stick the rabbit was on towards the strangers.

Bojack felt relief once Kah expressed his willingness to talk, though Johanna didn't feel comfortable due to the presence of Bunda. She stayed on edge, and constantly flexed her fingers even while she and Bojack sat down and he accepted the rabbit from Kah and took a large bite. This single bite removed half of the rabbit from the stick, so he contently chewed on his half at the same time that he passed the stick to Johanna so that she could have the rest of it. "Now to business, I'm Bojack Randell, Captain of the newly formed Horsemen pirates. I've recently made it a bit of a personal mission of mine to take over the island of Momoiro and from what I've seen you're exactly the type of guy that I'd like to have on my side in a mission like mine." Bojack never was good at wasting time, so he jumped straight to his point and tried to recruit Kahseh to his side.
Before Kahseh could respond though, Johanna jumped in,"I already told you that Horsemen pirates was a stupid name, but from the rumors I've heard it's also being used by another group already." Bojack's face darkened at her words, thoroughly disappointed that his perfect crew name was already taken. "Well still, even if I have to come up with a new name, it'd be wonderful to have you join me as my partner." Bojack sat and listened to whatever Kahseh or Bunda would have to say in response, but he wouldn't be able to respond before being interrupted by a frantic Okama running through their area.
"Run away!" the Okama screamed, running frantically away only to be halted in his tracks by a death stare from Bojack. Being as close to face to face with Bojack as he was able to get with his meager 5 foot tall stature he began to rattle off a frantic explanation without even a word from any of the four people in the area. "In the Cape. They say the man there is a member of the Caprice pirates, they say he's wearing a purple suit and is very tall. I don't care what you do to me I'm getting away from here." And with that the man ran away with tears streaming down his face from fear of Bojack's potential and inevitably violent response. It was true, on a typical day Bojack would certainly attack the man for claiming he didn't care what Bojack did to him. But now Bojack had his mission in mind, he had to go to the O'Kara Cara Cape and meet Thyme. This could be his chance to get in with Caprice.
"I'd love to work with you in the future, but right now I have somewhere else to be. Caprice is a big shot pirate and I can't miss a chance to work with him." Bojack then stood, waiting for Johanna to do the same before they went off walking towards the O'kara Cara Cape where Thyme of the Caprice pirates was.
The man sat, accepting the rabbit from Kahseh and taking an extremely big bite. That aside, Kahseh was very interested in what he had to say. For a moment there was silence so Kah presumed to pick up the other cooked rabbit before taking a bite. When the man was done eating, he introduced himself as Bojack Randell a captain of a pirate crew called "The Horsemen Pirates." The name was pretty lame if he asked Kah. Horsemen were just men who rode horses right? Whatever. In the end Bojack admitted that he was interested in Kahseh and wanted him to be his partner. He used his words wisely because if he used anything that would have made the viking feel like a grunt he would have simply declined. In the end Kah needed allies and something about this man told Kahseh that he would make a promising acquaintance in the future. "Hm-" but before he could say anything the woman interrupted, adding in that the name of his crew was whack. She was right. When the two of them were done speaking Kahseh would use the time to talk. The young Raider stood up and handed the rest of the rabbit over to Bunda so that he could eat his share. "Horsemen Pirates eh? We'll need to work on that name, heh. I'm Kahseh Raider, son of Lord Tristan Raider. I've been looking for allies, I'll consider joining your crew. I'll help you as long as you help me." Just as he finished speaking a voice shouted "Run away but halted as he saw Bojack. Was this man well known or something? He looked frightened as his eyes met with Bojack and explained what exactly it was that he was escaping. Another pirate crew was after him perhaps. Who knows. Long story short, Bojack seemed extremely interested about these pirates and his stay was shortened. Meeting Kahseh was enough for him so he was off to speak business with another man. He seemed to be trying to build a strong crew which was to be expected from a man who wanted to take an entire island. With that he was off and the two continued resting for a little while longer.
"Hm. The gods work in funny ways. Anyway, we'll rest here a little longer but we should get going soon."
