Taking in Jackal’s words of honor, Freya would only smirk at the Mink. Since her arrival in Baltigo, she felt like the gods had sent her there for some kind of mission. Maybe that mission was helping the Bandit King take down the one who held the reigns of life. Her eyes would glance from the glorified sunset and back down to the ground where Jackal had just completed drawing a simple line.
"Crossing this line means you're going to be working with a known criminal. I'm no hero. People might die. To be quite frank, I'm also doing this partially for my own selfish goal. I am passionate about saving her but I'm also an opportunist at the end of the day. Crossing this line means we're nakama now. I watch your back. You watch mine. Are you able to handle that weight? The burden that word carries."
Nakama? The word almost seemed to be foreign to her. Back on Amazon Lily, there was no one that she was able to call friend. Now, here she was talking to a man that she had only met moments before. As Jackal said the word, Freya felt like it had an even more powerful meaning to it. There meeting wasn’t a coincidence. It was fate.... The Mink and the Kuja were destined to meet each other whether the universe wanted to admit it or not. A single tear would erupt from her eye. For years she tried her best to hide her emotions. Letting only a little bit of it out seemed to bring her happiness. Within moments of Jackal’s words her left foot would come to hover over the line before it would drop on the other side of it. Not even seconds later would her opposite foot do the same.
Staring down at Jackal, as he was still lowered to the ground “What you said is very odd seeing as we’ve only just met each other and didn’t really meet on great terms. However, I feel like I can trust you. Both of us have business together in Baltigo now and I’ll do anything to finish it.” said Freya as she eyed Jackal. Placing her hand on his shoulder. She would come to squint her eyes. “Let’s free Baltigo of its slavery Jackal.” said Freya before she walked past Jackal. Leaving him be moments before he had pulled out the Den Den Mushi. Though, just as the lady was about to answer. Freya would hold her left hand up waving off the Mink and would say “By the way, you can call me Valkyrie.”
