The massive 600 pound Goldfish grunted up at Right Hook, obviously displeased by his being kicked. ”And why exactly are you riding on my back instead of moving or lazy ass or riding in the fucking SUBMARINE we brought with us to carry all the cargo back to Baltigo?” Right Hook looked down at Jerry with disbelief, as if he was surprised by his failure to understand why he was being used as a mode of transportation. ”Because.” Right Hook would start, dragging out the word to place emphasis on it as well as annoy Jerry,”Riding on the boat is for the grunts. Besides, why would I do that when you’re built like a warship anyway.”

Stopping his swimming abruptly, and causing the 24 mermen behind the two fishmen to slow to a stop as well, Jerry would fling Right Hook from his position on his back into the water below them. Upon resurfacing, Right Hook would prepare to chew Jerry out before being cut off by the monotone voice of the one of the mermaids in their party,”We have arrived. The Delta Lies below us at approximately 1000 feet deep. My suggestion is to cease communication and begin extraction of resources immediately.” Though the tone of the merman’s voice and his interruption of his speech bothered Right Hook, he knew that the man was right. Looking to the mer forces that were quietly chatting while floating with only their top half above the surface of the water he would give his first order,”Ok, start getting down there and getting the cargo, Jerry and I will be just behind you Incase thing get bad.” Once every one of the mermen has begun diving down towards the sunken cargo ship which had just then been noticed by Oceanus Right Hook would turn to Jerry and say,”When this is over I’m gonna deal with you and your sense of humor since you think it’s funny to throw people while they’re chilling,Before following the mermen into the depths. Jerry would simply shake his head before following behind Right Hook.

As the group of men descended at a reasonable speed, with he submarine being the deepest about 20 meters deeper than Jerry and Right Hook with the group of 25 mermen all spread out at a depth about 10 meters deeper than the two fishmen. While the speed of the submarine nearly failed to match that of the fishmen, they remained at the same distance to each other down until the submarine was 275 meters below the surface of the Ocean. Once there, the sonar on the submarine would alert the submarine’s pilot to Oceanus’s presence, and cause him to stop the vessel leading the other members of the group to stop as well upon catching up to it. Now, the group of 27 sat around 30 meters away from Oceanus and the sunken ship, and the two fishmen would activate their observation haki. Now, the two were not only aware of Oceanus and the other creatures around the ship, but also any other creatures within the 75 meter range of their haki. At the very edge of their haki, they would notice the strange presence of what seemed like to be a large source of killing intent at he very edge of their abilities, but it disappeared out of their range seconds later. Not feeling that it was safe enough to approach the ship himself right away, Right Hook would signal his men, causing the 24 mermen who were swimming alongside them to rush towards the ship. Following orders, the mermen would all swim towards the ship with weapons drawn ready to deal with whatever threat is within it.

As the group of mermen approached the wrecked ship, they had no clue of the danger that lurked within it. The group of mermen swam an non-priority speeds, but would still be within 5 meters of the Delta when Oceanus noticed their approach and dropped the chest from his hands. Screaming loudly while rushing the admittedly terrifying thief, the mermen would attempt to attack the Wotan with an array of weapons including spears and swords. The men would attempt to surround Oceanus from a close range and all attack him in succession. Their intention would be to allow him to leave the ship but also to take him down before he did any damage to the cargo.

While the grunts waste their time trying to take on the stronger aquatic humanoid, the two commanding fishmen would swim away from the conflict and maintain a distance of about 45 meters away from the Delta while keeping a close eye on the battle through the use of their observation haki. Turning to Jerry, Right Hook would issue his first verbal order of the mission to his partner,¨If he manages to take them down I want you to neutralize the threat immediately.¨ Nodding, Jerry would activate his busoshoku haki over his arms, legs, torso and head before swimming towards Oceanus who would hopefully still be doing battle with the mermen.
