Alabasta.....Rocco has heard of that place before but from where? Trying to remember would rack his brain. Where did he remember that place from? Was he there before? There were so many pieces of Rocco early life missing from him. He knew nothing of his birth parents, where he was born and who he could represent. Why the fuck was there such a void though? Situations where Rocco had no clue of what to do pissed him off. Rocco liked to have some sort of answer for questions. But even if the answer was an iffy one, it was still an answer. But for why he couldn't remember Rocco was actually speechless.
But one thing that Rocco did understand that his captain was a troublemaker. Which was fine to Rocco because he was just as much as a troublemaker like his captain. When Rocco heard about how his captain was looking for a Shipwright it made Rocco think about the crew composition and what things were needed for there to be a good balance. And to Rocco what was a must to be a successful crew was a good Captain, which as far as Rocco has seen his captain was certainly capable of being a great captain. What next was needed was a shipwright, the guy that builds and fixes the ship for the crew the sail on...to an extent. Someone to drive the ship as well.
What else was needed was a medic. In which Rocco could take up as that position. Rocco was fascinated with the body and how it worked. So learning about medicine and such would come to him like sleep. It wouldn't be a walk in the part as the world of medicine is wide and vast. But with someone like Rocco who usually has an undying, never give up attitude. It should work out well for him. And finally for the needs is a navigator. Someone to guide the crew out on the seas. Someone who knows left from right and north from south. Rocco wasn't very good with direction so that slot was beyond him. Hopefully, he and Baioretto could find someone to fill that spot soon. Wouldn't end too well if you don't know where you are going out on the sea.
Baioretto asked if the role of the first mate would be too tough for Rocco in which he could only laugh.
"Captain, nothing is too tough for me. You found the right man for the job!" With such a role Rocco had to have a strong resolve and would have to take over if the situation asked for it. Which Rocco was down to do. But leading wasn't his forte, that job was, of course, Baioretto 's. He mentioned something about a tavern in which he heard about Rocco from. Which made Rocco tilt his head. Did people tell him about Rocco? This made Rocco smirk a bit. Maybe his name wasn't getting out there, but people were indeed talking about him.
Busting into the bustling tavern the smell of beer and the sounds of dancing and singing would ring throughout the entire building. When Baioretto introduced Rocco to the people he couldn't help but smile.
"TO ME YA DRUNK BATARDS!" Rocco knew it deep down within his very being that this was the start of a great adventure. A life-changing one.
