As the stream of yellow liquid would exit out of Rocco's lil john he would sigh in relief. Right behind him though was the remains of a couple buildings that he was fighting in. Was quite the night, as Rocco was covered in cuts and bruises. He just got done with tearing apart a local gang, piece by piece. After a few shakes, Rocco would fix himself up and would turn around to go through the rubble to see if there were any others conscious. In total it was about 30 men, with a single cyborg leader. There were a couple spectators but Rocco didn't see if they went and told the Marines yet. I haven't been too long, so Rocco might want to bounce from the area. Before they spot him and chase his ass off the island.

The moon illuminated the street where Rocco would tread currently. Spinning his arm in vertical circles to stretch his arms as they just went through a horrendous amount of work. But work that should help Rocco increase his strength. And thanks to today being windy he was allowed to use all the techniques taught to him and go bat shit crazy. It felt so good that Rocco didn't feel like stopping and had to hold his piss. Maybe that was a good thing or a bad thing doesn't matter now, he was empty and wanted something to eat. But seeing as he wasn't familiar was the island yet, he had not clue of where to eat or where to go. Maybe he could ask someone for a good place?

It wasn't everyday that Baioretto got a bit of free time between activities and he said why not take this opportunity to go for a stroll. This island, Water 7 was a marvelous home and a place Baioretto wish he had the chance to grow up on. He saw this place as being one he could retire on, his end game.. Sadly he knew his status and knew he wasn't big enough to take over an island of this nature just yet, hell taking over a small section of Alabasta was barely in the cards for Baioretto. Stepping into a local tavern Baioretto would get himself a tall glass of ale with the local pirates and found himself among the many who enjoyed the music played here. Breaking into dance Baioretto was the center of attention as he was the only outsider among the locals at this time, "Aye,aye!" people chanted as Baioretto danced with a woman with his ale flailing all around his mug. It was around that time the front door was attacked by a man, well it sounded like someone was attacking but in reality the sheer force this man ran with generated this notion. Baioretto and everyone else stopped.

The man was hysterical "Oi, what's going on?" said another of the local pirates. Gathering his breathe Baioretto passed him his mug of ale, the man would down the ale in one giant gulp "Try now." spoke Baioretto. Breathing hard still the man would start to speak. "There was a man, he was going on a rampage.. took out an entire crew by himself! It's crazy!" yelled the man. The crowd broke into an uproar but it was Baioretto who silenced them all, "I'll take a crack at it." spoke Baioretto who would walk towards his sword with a smile on his face.

Walking in the direction given to him by the man in the tavern Baioretto smirked, he was finally going to find someone strong and hopefully worthy of joining his crew. "He had silver, spiky hair. His face looked like he wanted a battle and wasn't satisfied with what he was given." said the man. That just added to the fuel Baioretto had to get this man on his team. Near the debris of the aforementioned battle Baioretto would run into the man he was looking for, he was 15 meters in front of Baioretto but 13 meters when Baioretto drew his blade and aimed it forward. "I came here to offer you a deal, you land a hit on me.. I owe you a tub of sake, If you don't you join my crew." spoke Baioretto with a hint of arrogance in his voice.

The first thought to cross Rocco's mind when he came face to face with Baioretto was that he was probably apart of that little gang that Rocco ripped to shreds. It wasn't too filling though. He indeed craved a more intense fight, and this guy seemed to emit this sort of aura about him. Th type of aura of strength....it was like a drug to Rocco. First cracking his neck he would bring his attention to the sword that Baioretto held first and then his body. Rocco was gauging currently how efficient this guy was. And whether or not he was worthy of giving Rocco orders. Rocco wasn't totally against the fact of being under someone, it's just that someone has to be stronger than him and has the chance to increase Rocco's fighting strength as well. Rocco wasn't sure about either of these requirements, whether or not this guy met them. But Rocco would only find out while fighting him.

"Are you talking to me? Me join your crew? And the only condition I would have to achieve would be touching you? I have a multitude of questions, but you can answer them after I send you flying." He would begin walking forward at a calm pace. Seemingly not posing any threat. It was until he reached 7 meters away from Baioretto he would kick up a medium sized rock and would kick it towards Baioretto. These first attacks were to see how Baioretto reacted to certain things. Rocco wasn't going to just dive head into a fight like this. This guy didn't seem like the other small fry he faced before. And while Rocco was a bit fatigued he still had enough energy to fight for at least 10 minutes at full power before totally shutting down. Rocco wasn't very good at many things, but he was going a measuring his stamina.

That rock wouldn't be the only one though. If Baioretto managed to dodge the first one then Rocco would just send two more his way. Rocco was limited on ammo tough. The two he might have to send over would be the last of the decent sized rocks around him. If any rock would manage to connect with Baioretto or if all managed to miss Rocco would dash in and go for a spinning kick which was aimed at the head, whereas his center of body would be towards the lower half of his body, as to make sure that if he needed to cancel his attack and maneuver himself he would be able to do so. This wasn't a committed attack, more like a mini feint than anything else.

Truth be told, Baioretto wasn't a fan of people touching him, he was a really nice person but he had some germ issues he had to workout for himself. Initially when Baioretto made this offer to the silver haired man he didn't really mean it, consider it a talking piece for him but judging from the body language displayed, it was clear this man was going to accept the challenge laid down. Once the man began to speak it was clear where his hubris stood, he was extremely confident in his abilities which actually made Baioretto smile just a bit. He wanted those who believed in themselves in his crew more than anything. The smile on his face was very noticeable and might even come off as creepy to the man he was against in this little game but sooner or later Baioretto would get to explain his joy of the seas and what it had to offer, such as situations like this. Once Rocco started to move Baioretto shifted into a battle stance. The footwork of Rocco wasn't the smoothest and he definitely didn't have the speed needed to keep up with someone at Baioretto's level.

The first rock came flying towards Baioretto and he sliced it with his blade, but the way he moved and how he moved, it was too fast. To the naked eye he didn't even move but the rock fell short right before him. Baioretto lost focus for a split second and a second rock came and Baioretto dodged it, a third rock came and it hit Baioretto on his right ear nipping him pretty good, it was then Baioretto saw Rocco going for a kick towards Baioretto's head, a smirk on his face showed it all, at full speed, Baioretto tossed Bori back, three meters behind him, as the kick came in contact with Baioretto's hair it was then he was gone, Rocco wouldn't even be able to perceive what just happened, hell Baioretto himself wouldn't have been able to understand if he didn't cause it himself. The blade would be stopped as a wave of electricity surged through it, Baioretto formed from lightning at the edge of the hilt into his body, fully committed to his kick Baioretto had Rocco stuck in mid air with nothing to do, Undercutting him Baioretto would deliver a kick with his right leg to the left rib cage of Rocco with the intent of knocking him into the debri that he caused.

The fuck? Was this guy controlling lightning? Was what Rocco was thinking in this instant. Wait beyond that though, he managed to dodge my attacks, almost effortlessly. An emotion would begin to engulf Rocco. An emotion that he hasn't ever felt before. What was it? It sent chills down his spine, what the hell was this feeling? And then it snapped into Rocco's mind. That's it....it must be that. It must be F E A R. Rocco would attempt to block the attack but to his dismay, it just moved too fast. Not only was this guy controlling lightning, but was he also moving at its speed? No way. There was no way someone...something like that could exist right?  As Rocco was sent flying his body collide with a slab of Stone that used to be a wall. For a moment he would pass out.

He would awake in a second thought. He would shake his head as the situation began to sink into Rocco's head. And then the thought about this guy being Rocco's captain managed to cheer him up for some reason. Someone as strong as him being Rocco's captain? Rocco knew that if he was to follow this guy around, there would be no way he wouldn't be able to grow stronger. Cracking Rocco would get back up, slowly though. He wasn't 100% when he started the fight and with that kick, he was even farther from it. "Hmmm, I guess you can answer my questions then...Captain?" Sighing Rocco would admit defeat. Rocco wasn't the type of guy to just keep hitting a wall he knew he had to chance to break....yet.

He would loosen himself to give off the non-threating vibe. If Rocco was going to start taking orders from this guy, first he needed to know who he was and being tense all the time was no good. For the body and the mind. "Also you only won that fight because I let you." Rocco would say with a smirk on his face. Momentarily, he was about 8 meters away from Baioretto, but after walking to him he would damn near be face to face with him.

The kick Biaoretto had unleashed landed! It sent Rocco flying into a block of the aforementioned debris. Baioretto cringed at the sight of impact because he didn't intend to cause that much damage with a single attack. "Ouch" he would say as Rocco bounced off the debris and hit the ground. It was clear as day that for a moment there, Rocco was out and Baioretto wouldn't go boasting about that because it wasn't his style. He'd wonder if Rocco was okay as he tried to shake off what happened to him. "Hmm, the average person wouldn't be on their feet after that, something about him was different from the others I've encountered.. His will is a lot stronger." Thought Baioretto who looked at Rocco with a hint of confusion how he was standing upright already. Once Rocco started speaking Baioretto smiled after hearing Rocco claim him as his captain. Baioretto finally found his first mate, a great way to start his journey through the seas. "Good to hear mate!, needed someone as strong as you as my first mate." spoke Baioretto towards a groggy Rocco. A name to Baioretto's crew wasn't known yet but Baioretto had finally started his crew.

"I know" said Baioretto with a smile in regards to Rocco's claim about how Baioretto pulled off the victory. This man seemed to be a perfect fit for the type of crew Baioretto wanted for his crew. As the two grew face to face Baioretto couldn't help but let out his smile, it turned into legitimate laughter as he burst into a round of screaming because he was finally starting his journey. "Oi, You know.. you're my first mate now right?" said Baioretto with a smile as he tilted his glasses downwards left arm hanging over the shoulders of Rocco. "Baioretto D Fuentes and... Uhhh now that I think about it, what's your name brotha?" wondered Baioretto who forgot to get the name of the man who he just recruited.

Rocco was surprised that his new Captain would just bust out laughing? Was there something wrong with his face? Other than the scratches and such on it, there shouldn't be anything that caused someone to laugh. Maybe he was laughing at his hairstyle? Ahhhh he couldn't be. He was looking dead at him, no way he was looking at his hair. Rocco would put his hand on his chin as he thought about what it could be. But so far nothing came to far. Maybe his captain was just that sort of weird person? Well, it didn't matter as long as he was as strong as he was, Rocco didn't mind the weirdness. But in actuality, it might be Rocco who was the weird one. Joining someone who beat you in a single hit......Rocco would correct himself. Rocco would give up after a single hit. He knew it was futile to continue the fight, it would just cause him to get more injured and waste his energy. Which Rocco wasn't about to do either of those.

Now a real surprised look on Rocco's face would appear. He would look at Baioretto and then point at himself. "Me? You haven't recruited anyone else?" It would cause him to snicker a bit at the lack of charisma his captain had. Rocco was an easy person to recruit. All you have to do is beat him...which will get much more difficult later down the road but for now, it was easy for Baioretto. And there were other things that drew Rocco to the choice of joining but, eh, for now, he would rather enjoy the moment. As Baioretto's arm came around Rocco it didn't really affect him. This was now his Captain, so he was going to have to get used to him. After telling Rocco his name Rocco would snap out of his thoughts barely hearing what he said. But he did manage to hear the part of his name. Which Rocco also realized he didn't know of until now.

"The name's Rocco, no last name because I don't need one." Hand no longer on his chin Rocco would lean back as far as he could, which turned out to be pretty far due to his flexibility from training. Still feeling the kick a wee bit Rocco would want to get something in his body. Hopefully dead and cooked. "You know where I can get something to eat, Baioretto...I mean Captain?" It's still going to take Rocco a bit to get used to calling Baioretto that. Best to start that process as soon as possible.

This duo was going to be a problem on the open sea! Even though Baioretto made short work of his first mate he knew in his heart of hearts that the man was formidable, something in Baioretto could just sense things like that, these two men had very strong wills and their resolves were going to be tested once they officially embarked on their journey. After Baioretto had revealed that Rocco was his first mate it was clear Rocco was confused how. He asked if Baioretto had recruited anyone else to which the purple haired pirate cracked one of his infamous smiles. "Haven't had the chance to, I was getting myself into trouble on Alabasta but I came here to see how shit works, also to find a shipwright so the open sea would become home!" said Baioretto while he kept that sinister smile of his. That smile was almost as important as his purple hair, it let people know that for him everything was going smoothly. "You think being a first mate is too much for ya?" joked Baioretto who was yanking the metaphorical chain of Rocco. These two had some good chemistry for two guys who just met it was clear they were going to be a formidable duo.

It wasn't long after that the name of his first mate was revealed to be Rocco. Baioretto liked the name, it sounded strong.. Wondered what the seas would come to know Rocco as over time. When asked if Baioretto knew where to get food from around here he smiled, because he knew the perfect tavern over here, it was actually the place he was before he came here to see what all the ruckus was with Rocco. "Yea, actually I was just there.. That's how I found out you were here!" said Baioretto. He would start heading in that direction with Rocco.

After a short trip the duo would reach the tavern. "Oi, I hope you like sake!" said Baioretto before he burst through the doors of the Tavern and the patrons went crazy. "Oi Baioretto! how was that situation you went and checked out!" asked one of the locals. Baioretto started laughing "It went well, but aye pour up a drink! I found someone to be my first mate!!!" yelled Baioretto before an ale was slide across the nearest table to Baioretto and a large uproar broke out once more. Lifting the mug up Baioretto yelled "To Rocco!" with everyone else breaking into a chant "Rocco, Rocco, Rocco!"

Alabasta.....Rocco has heard of that place before but from where? Trying to remember would rack his brain. Where did he remember that place from? Was he there before? There were so many pieces of Rocco early life missing from him. He knew nothing of his birth parents, where he was born and who he could represent. Why the fuck was there such a void though? Situations where Rocco had no clue of what to do pissed him off. Rocco liked to have some sort of answer for questions. But even if the answer was an iffy one, it was still an answer. But for why he couldn't remember Rocco was actually speechless.

But one thing that Rocco did understand that his captain was a troublemaker. Which was fine to Rocco because he was just as much as a troublemaker like his captain. When Rocco heard about how his captain was looking for a Shipwright it made Rocco think about the crew composition and what things were needed for there to be a good balance. And to Rocco what was a must to be a successful crew was a good Captain, which as far as Rocco has seen his captain was certainly capable of being a great captain. What next was needed was a shipwright, the guy that builds and fixes the ship for the crew the sail on...to an extent. Someone to drive the ship as well.

What else was needed was a medic. In which Rocco could take up as that position. Rocco was fascinated with the body and how it worked. So learning about medicine and such would come to him like sleep. It wouldn't be a walk in the part as the world of medicine is wide and vast. But with someone like Rocco who usually has an undying, never give up attitude. It should work out well for him. And finally for the needs is a navigator. Someone to guide the crew out on the seas. Someone who knows left from right and north from south. Rocco wasn't very good with direction so that slot was beyond him. Hopefully, he and Baioretto could find someone to fill that spot soon. Wouldn't end too well if you don't know where you are going out on the sea.

Baioretto asked if the role of the first mate would be too tough for Rocco in which he could only laugh. "Captain, nothing is too tough for me. You found the right man for the job!" With such a role Rocco had to have a strong resolve and would have to take over if the situation asked for it. Which Rocco was down to do. But leading wasn't his forte, that job was, of course, Baioretto 's. He mentioned something about a tavern in which he heard about Rocco from. Which made Rocco tilt his head. Did people tell him about Rocco? This made Rocco smirk a bit. Maybe his name wasn't getting out there, but people were indeed talking about him.

Busting into the bustling tavern the smell of beer and the sounds of dancing and singing would ring throughout the entire building. When Baioretto introduced Rocco to the people he couldn't help but smile. "TO ME YA DRUNK BATARDS!" Rocco knew it deep down within his very being that this was the start of a great adventure. A life-changing one.
