Kappa was all too aware of his safety while attempting to push the boat out of the river and he had been watching all directions, ready to ditch the boat if a threat came to meet him. A threat had come for him, one by the name of Nep and so Kappa dropped all intention of saving the boat. It was obvious that something was amiss with the situation due to the fact that the noise of destruction coming from the Bleeding Maw and underwater action had ended, along with the underwater waves. He had only just begun to exert his strength on the boat when he spotted the fishman swimming toward him. He would drop control of the boat straight away, letting it bob up and down in it's original position on the river. In the clear water of the stream, Kappa could see everything that was going on under the water. It was clear that the other fishman was heading straight toward him. He had hoped to save the Skuttlebutt from a similar fate but he didn't wish to fight in such an uneven situation.

As soon as Nep had made it clear that he was aiming for Kappa by swimming straight toward him from his position near the Bleeding Maw, Kappa would release his katas that held the boat, keeping only his Pisces Paladin and Moray Munch katas active as they were and switching his Turbulent Tide kata to accelerate himself out of the water at secondary speed and head toward Jackal about 50m inland. All the while, Kappa would keep an eye on the fishy threat behind him.

Should he get a chance to say something to Jackal without being interrupted, he would say "I did what I could, let's move on." Before beginning to make his way toward Whiskey Peak should Jackal also agree to come along. He was hoping to leave the situation at the riverside and move on with the job ahead. Gil panted inbetween words. The Kappa Katas were a state of peace and calmness for the fishman, he was even able to control water in his meditation-sleep. But even he was beginning to tire from this level of exertion. One of Oceanus's men still lay in the grasp of his eel, his body stripped of blood and flesh so it wouldn't be able to move, even if he was conscious.

OOC:

The unexpected development of Bazil having Conqueror's Haki caught even Nep off-guard. And the Fishman on the skuttle-butt and Nep in the water would not be able to stand get awake. Their eyes would roll into the back of their head and they'd begin to foam out of the mouth. That was the only reason Kappa was able to get away from Nep before he attacked. They wouldn't be the only ones as the Homies that were within range also had the same thing happen to them. It shocked Soju as well as Mercer. They just thought Bazil was one of those annoying loud mouths. He at this moment had demonstrated he had something special about him. That didn't mean he they thought anymore highly of him; it just made him special and someone to watch out for. His claim to be King was also somewhat legitimate in Mercer's eyes. As Mercer knew about the meaning of those that had that type of Haki. And he felt Soju had it as well, but hadn't awakened it yet. He was the first person to sense the danger that began to approach them. Not paying attention to Bazil anymore he would turn in the direction of Whiskey Peak. The Homies from Bazil's wave weren't the things coming. That horde had stopped after their efforts.

Diana's forces were holding back the forces of Soju. They pushed them so they could only enter the town at a certain point from the docks. Some tried to sneak through other ways but would fail. They had fortified this place to the best of their ability. Bullet had moved away from the peak of the mountain and returned to the town. He helped in coordinating the forces to make sure they held the enemy back. The main goal at this point could be seen that they aren't trying to really kill them all.

"NANI!? All of the submarines have been taken out on Sandy Island, damn. " He paced back and forth as that meant things weren't looking good for his side. That he might've needed to stay there instead of assisting Soju. He would sigh as the decision to not move from this area was made from higher up. Along with more information that was passed to him. They were about to reach the peak of the conflict.

"I hope Soju doesn't think things are going bad now. As they are about to get worse. Everyone to your stations."

"SOJU!" A homie of armor would be approaching to the group. Even with the distance of thirty meters being between them his scream could be heard clear as day. It was strange because the Homie seemed to have a determined look on its face. And something else would begin to happen. The size of the suit of armor would begin to grow rapidly. That would not be seen by the group though, as the hand of the suit of armor would be outstretched. And it would be the first thing to grow almost instantly(S speeds). The thirty meter gap would be closed as the hand was longer than that, being fifty meters. With the open palm coming forward getting out of the way of it would be hard. Following the increasing of the arm was the other part of the. What caused this was a Devil Fruit. The first user to ever have the Moa Moa no mi. A Devil fruit that has the ability increase the size of objects. The size, speed, and strength of this homie was now at levels that could stand above the normal forces of Diana or Soju. The durability of this Homie having been pushed to Secondary and the Strength would match it.  The speed the homie was increased but the speed of it didn't. Slow and Strong. Regardless if the push with the hand was successful or not it would attempt to stand tall above them.  Massive was the homie that stood close to 100m.

"eh?"
He'd slash forward once. Somehow he placed himself in front of the ground, and his blade was. It wasn't just a normal slash but his blade was covered in flames. The attack was magnificent as it melted the arm up to the elbow. He stopped the attack up to that point. They could continue the attack but it'd only deal with the arm. They were too far to get to the Homie's legs to knock him down right now.  He'd look up at the piece of tin. A irritated expression on his face as he looked up at it the homie. "You idiots go to Whiskey Peak. We need to finish all of this quickly I have a bad feeling about how things are going." Soju would say to them. He started to feel strange. It wasn't really the development of this Homie but rather the types of enemies that came. He knew all about Diana she was smart. She knew full on well how strong he was, but she sent these guys at him. She sent weak pieces of tin to stop him; when she knew that would never be enough.

Mercer would take not time in beginning to run toward Whiskey Peak. If they ran they'd make it in no time. Mercer knew that Soju could handle the Homie and also felt they needed to handle this quicker. They were free to assist Soju in taking out the homie, but it would be a waste of their energy. Constantly using techniques would make you exhausted; no one was exempt from that. Conserving their energy was the best thing to do right now.

"The Worst Generation"

It's the thrill in the end. In that moment when something stolen becomes mine or is it? That's the bliss I desire.

Gaining time to recover, Jackal was mulling over the details of these events over and over in his head. What was Diana's goal, trapping them on the island? For what? Was she known to be a Bounty Hunter, was it really about their bounty? If that was the case, all of them had Dead or Alive on their heads, so it'd be less time consuming to just kill them all. Though, it wouldn't go down that easy, it still probably would've brought a conclusion to this drawn out fiasco. With the remainder of the current Homies, wiped out from Bazil's raging Hao, another Homie, this one seemingly emerging seconds after the last wave, had began charging for their positions, thirty meters away. However, his target was indeed Soju, as by passing Jackal's position and Bazil's position, the Homie's had elongated advanced directly for Soju's position at their hind. Not panicked in Soju's potential to protect himself, he'd hold off on making rash movements, conserving his energy even more, simply shuffling out of the hand's immediate path with quick one foot leap, with enough force to clear far away from the hand's trajectory. Drawing his weapon, Soju's flames engulfed the homunculi's hand, and with a swift command, Soju told the lot of them to make it towards Whiskey Peak, as he needed no help. With almost perfect response, Mercer abandoned his Captain and b-lined towards the now cleared path on the outskirts of Whiskey Peak.

Leaping in increments of five meters, Jackal readily advanced towards Whiskey Peak's sign which so ominously hung in the distance. At about five meters away from Whiskey, Jackal had trailed the sea route which his boat was now sailing on, as his eyes met with Sinbad's own momentarily. However, he didn't pause much longer, and to Sinbad, as long as Jackal command of the vessel, it'd be in safe hands. Finally, Jackal and Mercer had arrived at the entrance of Whiskey Peak, Mercer ahead of Jackal by exactly six feet. Crossing through the sign, he'd see the struggle between Soju's men and Diana's men in the distance, about fifteen meters inward. At this point, Jackal would just follow along to see what was waiting for him next, once in range with the conflict, he'd wait for Mercer to engage, that way, he could identify officially who were his foes and who we're allies. Once that was affirmative, Jackal would fire off, one by one, a total of six spit bombs, created from mucus hawked in his throat, adding a bit of saliva to the tally. Only once Mercer had made his move would be he respond with action, as his paranoia about this whole situation wanted him to activate his Kenbunshoku, and if startled, he surely would. "Mercer. Something's wrong here... Look closely. They aren't killing your men at all. Just rendering them unconscious. What's the meaning of all this?" Jackal inquired to Mercer.

Bazil watched as the towering Homie charged towards Soju, completely disregarding Jackal and himself. He heard the Red Fox spout off an arrogant speech, causing him to grin. “Try not to die, ya red haired fuck!” Bazil shouted as he wandered off in the direction of Whiskey Peak, giving a wave over his shoulder as he did so. Casually he strolled behind Mercer and Jackal, he would arrive a few seconds after the pair, as they were moving at much quicker pace. The Red Devil would come up from behind, “This shit is just way to fuckin easy.” The pirate grumbled as he used his pinky finger to dig into his left ear. “I was really hoping for something alittle tougher from the furry cunt.” He finished as he flicked the ear wax off. The pirate still hadn’t come to the same conclusion as the others, that they were all most likely walking into a trap.

Ezekiel and Yasuke | Skuttlebutt

As they finished throwing off the unconscious bodies of the fishmen off the deck, Ezekiel grabbed the wheel of the ship and quickly turned them in the direction that the Baron had sailed in earlier. The Prophet navigated the ship through the tight waterways in the hopes of finding safety before the fishman awoke from their forced slumber. “Thee…thou.. Fuck it, we need to get the fuck outta here!” He shouted as manhandled the wheel, forgoing the characteristic speech pattern he tried so hard to stick too.

Yasuke turned and looked at him, eyes wide and a vein popping out on his forehead, very few people could anger the samurai and Ezekiel was on of them. “Why don’t you just talk like that all the fucking time! Its way less annoying!” The chef shouted out in frustration. Plopping his large ass down onto the deck and crossing his arms, his back now faced the Prophet.

“Why don’t you talk like that all the time, meh meh meh..” Ezekiel mumble, mocking Yasuke with a dumb voice and head bobbing. Doing it just low enough to where the samurai wouldn’t be able to make out what he said.

“Just shut up and steer the boat!” Yasuke yelled out angrily, not even bothering to turn in the mans direction. “We need to catch up to the young lord and be ready to escape after he gets into trouble.” The samurai yelled out, knowing full well that Bazil would get into hot water sooner than later due to his tendency to act impulsively.

The area the group was in was quickly turning into a full blown battlefield. Gil knew this was bad, they didn't want to be bogged down before they even reached Whiskey Peak. Gil hadn't participated in any wars before, but he knew from his martial arts training that a successful offense required pressure to be exerted. This came from restricting space and time of the opponent. At this point in time, they were able to do neither. However, it looked like they were allowed a reprieve for now and so Gil would take this chance to rest. He released control of the water that surrounded him, letting it spill on the floor and held Zeed over his shoulder instead. Then he would take off after Jackal in a forced march jog, efficiently covering ground while his lungs worked out the lactic acid from his system.

Jackal flew into the distance, much faster than Gil was able to keep up with, even if had happened to be in water. He would be taking the brunt of the force on himself, but he knew the mink was up to the task. While running along the path, his eyes were cast out towards the sea, settling on the Baron. He decided then that since he wouldn't be part of the vanguard on Whiskey Peak, he would take a detour. Gil dived into the water and began to swim to the boat with the unconscious pirate's head trailing out of the water.

Gil noticed a few fishmen grunts circling below the ship. Speeding toward them, Gil struck out with a deft palm strike and then a spinning kick to knock out the enemies. The sea resisted most movements against it, but Gil's hydrodynamic style was one that complimented and worshiped the sea. In return, he was granted the power necessary to carry out it's will. Gil couldn't see any others in the vicinity to he would shoot out of the water and onto he deck of the Baron.

"Easy, it's me." Gil held his free hand up in the air as his throat was met by the edge of Sinbad's dagger, the cold steel pressed against him in a threat. Recognising an ally, Sinbad quickly withdrew. "This place is dangerous, we shouldn't hang around for too much longer." The navigator took the unconscious body from Gil. "This is that infamous member of the Crazy Heart Pirates. Do I even want to ask?" Sinbad took the body and tied it up, out of sight on deck. Gil waved away the question, sitting down on the wood to grab a quick breath. A few of the bandit grunts slowed and then stopped their deck work to look at the fishman. These men looked to him as an authority, like someone that would know what to do in a crazy situation like this. "Keep the ship around the outskirts of Whiskey Peak." Sinbad nodded and then there was silence for a few seconds. "... I don't know what's going to happen here. Be prepared for anything." He stood, walking over to the side of the ship to look out at the town. "This is an insane risk. But i think, maybe that's what being a part of this crew is about." He turned back to the bandits, a rare grin on his face showing razor sharp fangs and the back of his jaw. The crew mirrored his expression, a new determination grew. Sinbad mock saluted him and Gil jumped off the Baron and back in the water to finish his journey to Whiskey Peak.

"I don't know." Mercer replied simply. Even with him unaware of the type of trap this was he wouldn't stop as he began to enter the town. As he knew that if Soju, his Captain, was here they'd charge right in. Mercer wouldn't charge nor would be just sit idly by. The majority of the forces were concentrated in the area that the ships under Soju came in at. That didn't mean there was no one around. Grunts and Homies that were just fodder were abundant within the town. Something though would stop Mercer in his tracks. The large cactus that Whiskey Peak rested under lit up. Not entirely but on the face that faced the town. Done in a similar fashion as Soju when he made his big debut as the Pirate King's son. To say people stopped fighting was nonsense, as not everyone could afford that. On the screen there was no person visible. All that was seen was the background was what area she was in were trees. Similar to the sakura trees she had within her fortress at the summit of staircase. Nothing would be heard for a good ten minutes. The light from it would be the only reason to draw someone's attention to it. But that would all change as the sound of someone snapping their fingers in a melodica fashion would be heard. The noise from it amplified by den den mushi speakers. Before the broadcast was up those with a Den Den Mushi would finally be able to use them. But even if you did that didn't mean the conversation would be your own. As the snapping stopped it'd be replaced with an angelic voice. "Is everyone having fun?" the question immediately would be answered by everyone under Diana.

"YES MY LOVE!" echoed throughout the entirety of Whiskey Peak.

The Giant Homie would say it right as it slammed it's good hand down at Soju. And it wouldn't be met with a waves of flames. The sound of Diana caught Soju off guard and he lost concentration for just a split second.

Behind Kaito and the others was a Mink; the one that increased the size of the the Homie. He sped across the ground at blinding speeds, a blur to most. Electro cladded his entire body as he charged up his attack. And once the amount of distance was only ten meters he focused all of that electro to one point as he sprung forward and off of the ground. It was all focused on his hand at first. But he would rip his claw, the nail, off entirely and grip the small fragment. "YES MY LOVE!"

[Event] The Worst Generation - Page 3 00a763e8742202dc6ae9d1ef2e2f365b

She walked out in front of the scream after they finished pronouncing their love for her. Blushing as if she heard what they said and was somewhat embarrassed. With her on the screen now those that were fighting seemed to pick up their intensity. No more would they try to just knock those that faced them out. They would become lethal. The scale of this conflict tipping more into the favor of Diana's forces.

"Darling there are three people here that shouldn't be. Deathgrip Mercer. Soju's spear....who is just. A tease. The next person is Warhead Bazil. He shouldn't even be here. What did I ever do to you, Bazil-kun? Or does a reckless delinquent like you just need a outlet for it's stupidity.  Finally, someone that shouldn't even be walking around freely...Jackel. Him out of those three I know for a fact should be in iron shackles and doing the biddings of another. Him and others from Zou. But he is here. Sadly, he is here. Darling, this stage was only for Soju. Not you three. So, if anyone! And I mean anyone can bring me their heads, you can leave.

But even about them. Soju did you come for something? Your soul? My love? Both? Because you didn't need to do all this for me to give it to you. Some chocolate from drum would've been fine. Oh, and why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me you were 'his' Son. If you told me that instead of declaring it to the world I wouldn't have to do what I am about to do. You being the son of 'that' Man is like Qari having a son. You are defined by your Fathers. Their actions reflect onto you. If you had just stayed quite about that you could've one day become a Shichibukai.

Or are you still mad about that incident? Because if you are, you need to grow up. But I will not say anymore. Just come talk to me. I'm in my stronghold. You should be able to figure where that is. Hint is the screen is on it. Everyone else keep fighting the good fight! Oh, and those three are at the east entrance."
And with that Diana would walk away. Not from the screen as a chair, more like a throne, would be brought and placed behind her. She would take a seat and relax. A Homie, one of armor, would woddle over with a sign. At first not holding the sign enough that it covered the screen. But, after a few seconds it corrected itself. Now only thing that could be seen was a drawing. A crude one of all three of the people Diana wanted dead.

The Nail enlarged increasing from less than a inch into a large thirty meter object. The Nail covered in the electro. His arrival and attack came at the time of Diana's speech. When focus wouldn't be on the back of anyone. Only thing that would give the attack away was this Mink screaming his love for Diana like everyone else. With how close they were the attack would not just hit Kaito if not dealt with. Who this Mink was should be familiar to Jackel. As he was there that day. When the world for many minks changed. Not being one that was taken away but one that helped Diana. Many helped her to save themselves but not him. He was just older than Jackle, maybe by two years, but he didn't do it because he needed to save himself. He did it because he didn't care for them. Diana raised him like her own. And saw what he could become.

"GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" The yell of Soju couldn't be heard by anyone but the Homie. Nor could what he did be felt. As just like Bazil his willpower had left his body. The sign of a King being finally used. It wasn't because of the Homie that had pinned him down. No, it was simply due to what Diana was spewing out her disgusting mouth. It would cover the Homie and cause it to faint. That though would not be the only thing done to it. As the blade of Soju would be used in a fashion that would cut the arm that had him into multiple piece.

"What do you mean they jammed us? Aren't we doing that to them?"

"What Diana stole is finally being used. We can't jam any communication on Cactus Island now. Nor can we listen in to anyone's conversations. We are completely in the dark unless someone calls us. She must've used this to help disable the submarines on Sandy. "

"Damn, and we thought we could trust her because she hunted Pirates. This is what we get. If this Soju brat betrays us as well. I will have to have a stern talk with Finn. But, we stick with the plan. Move into position and make sure you are aware of everything! I will use my observation Haki to aid in this so while I do that don't bother me. As I will push it to it's limit." Who this Man within the submarine was Betterman. One of the Revolutionary Generals that had come to Cactus Island and Sandy Island. Their envelopment with each event was heavy. Though only one would truly have to deal with them head on. Betterman wasn't here to really do combat. Not that long ago he brought something to this place. As Diana used to be an ally to the Revolution, but turned out to be a spy for the World Government. What she stole, as it was multiple things, is what gained her new title. Not her turning in Pirates for their bounty as she never did that in person. Betterman knew she gave up all items but two. A ship and a device. The device right now was being used against him, but he didn't know where the ship was.

How Diana knew about those three was simple. Once communications was brought back on the sniper, that was with Spod Roby. He brought it up and Diana took it from there. Telling the sniper to wait for after she spoke to assault them. She also asked about Spod but was told he ran off after Soju, and she was fine with that. The love between them was one way. He was simply a pawn she has used. Like most here now. They didn't mean too much to her if anything at all. Even Bullet and Rizor, after what Oceanus did, had lost their favor with Diana. They knew that. A lot of them knew this. And it was strange that even with that their love for her made them follow her. As the electro cover nail was used to attack the group the sniper was ready. He followed them since they arrived as he wanted to take them out. He was the only one on this Island under Diana that could call himself a true sniper. All three of them had been with his scope but he wanted only one. Mercer was his target. He knew about the marksmen as he was one of the best, only behind Patron. So if he took him out his fame and favor with Diana would skyrocket. That was what he thought. His killing intent was at its peak.

Mercer would sense the attack coming, as the killing intent from Spod was immense. "Watch your backs." Is all he said as he turned his walk into a full on sprint. He wasn't here to deal with these fools. He wanted to kill Diana but would settle with capturing her for Soju. He used a move that acted in ways like Soru but wasn't that. Mercer was special in many ways and used many techniques that made him a deadly advisory. His destination was the mountain. His spies already let him know about the stronghold Diana had on this Island. And how they found out about it but couldn't get in. From their position right now all they had to do to get there was run straight. Albeit the forces that filled the streets increased. Diana had the advantage in numbers. But as Mercer moved through them one bullet able to take out many it showed that Soju had better quality of warriors. Many of Soju's forces turned it up another notch and a few, 17, made it all the way to the stronghold. Waiting for Mercer and Soju. They didn't need someone telling them to get pumped or fight harder. They were all formidable before they worked under Soju. And what he had promised them for helping was already enough to get them hyped.

The Sniper fell backwards. As when Mercer spoke he fired his pistol so quickly he couldn't react. It broke through the scope and entered the skull of the sniper ending his life. Mercer didn't deal with the nail that came as he didn't need to. He felt Jackle or Bazil were strong enough to deal with it. And with Diana threatening their lives he had no doubt they weren't pissed.

Soju stood panting heavily. Before him resembled a scrap yard. As he didn't stop with the arm of the homie, but cut it's entire body into shreds. He anger at this point was not something that could be calmed by this. "Get the gates open, Mercer." He spoke to himself really as no one was around him. But what he was trying to say was he wanted Mercer to have everything ready when he he arrives.

Bullet moved as quickly as he could through his forces. The dwarf wanted one of those three heads, and would not rest till he got one. He wanted all three but would settle for one. Finally, after getting onto of a building, he spotted one of them. His red hair caught his eyes. "You are mine. Warhead." After Mercer had fired at the Sniper the small guy would begin to be covered in diamond. And without hesitation would spring forward at a quick speed(S). He didn't care if they dealt with the attack by blowing it up. Or simply move out of the way. If it was blown to smithereens and they didn't really move that much it was a straight tackle toward where Bazil was. To impact him in the chest. If they did a maneuver this attack would be better used in the large open street.

Miles away they began to mobilize no one on Cactus Island or near it would be aware of this. The encirclement to be being one that was the largest of its kind. It's numbers having increased along with the knowledge of certain people being known.  Two options were going to be made soon. Both were not in favor of anyone other than those offering. This incident would be heard around the world. Nothing will be the same after this nor after what was going on Sandy Isle. This Era was going to be given it's first moment to separate itself from the others. How that would be done is up to them. As they can either be outshined by a dead era or be the Golden one it was mean't to be.

"The Worst Generation"

It's the thrill in the end. In that moment when something stolen becomes mine or is it? That's the bliss I desire.

Trailing behind Mercer, Jackal observed as the area he'd now been standing in, had turned into a war zone. Blood filled the town's dirt road, and due to the sensitivity of Jackal's nose, he could smell it by the buckets. An overlaying musk of gunpowder and loud screeches from each side intensified as every minute passed. The River route which was positioned to the left of their position about fifty-meters away would allow boats to sail deeper into Whiskey Peak, eventually arriving at the base of the Cactus Mountain in the distance. Then, the Cactus Mountain in the distance came to life, similar to that of the rock formations that attacked them earlier, on edge, Jackal had his ears tuned for targets heading his direction, as he'd still been conserving his Haki for clutch situations. Suddenly, what appeared to a blank rectangular surface shone a white light, conveying the background of another location, that was nothing similar to anything he'd encountered so far on Cactus, Sandy or even his time on Drum. Diverting his attention from the screen, Jackal wasn't sure if this was a ploy to divert their attention but his efforts would be focused on decoding what in the world Diana's plan was in all of this. Shuffling through the pack of raging sides, Jackal would be surrounded at all cardinal points with pairs of enemies taking each other on, some from Soju, others from Diana's side. The unhealthy fascination with their leaders truly made Jackal scoff as they cut each other down for what, a mere title of supremacy as a Pirate. During these ten minutes, as he'd walk further and further into the crowd, met at every tangent with the realities that the casualty of war brings.

His ears tingled, the frequency of the setting Snail Transponder Speakers brought his attention back towards the make-shift screen once again, but before he could even fathom to look at the screen, the words 'Is Everyone Having Fun?' sent a shiver through his spine. Not because the situation was overwhelming, not by the cheers of her men channelling through the whole town, nor was it the woman's status that had struck fear into the man's heart, it was that the voice he'd hear was very familiar. Sadly, too familiar indeed. As his eyes now jotted at the screen, the woman before him wasn't Diana the Pirate who'd amassed a multi-race crew and ascended to the title of Supernova, the woman before him was his beloved, or so he'd believe. "Jewels..." Jackal whispered under his breath, as tears filled his eyes. He was sure his Father and his mentor had passed the day of his abduction from Zou, so nothing but tears of relief filled the minks eyes as he'd drop to his knees in disbelief. Wiping away the snot and tears from his nose/eyes, Jackal's emotional reaction would harden slowly as the woman talked. This manner of speech, it was indeed Jewel's voice, even down to her emotive mannerisms when speaking but there was a coldness to it, an unfamiliar air he'd never heard in his years spent chasing after her shadow as a child. His prior intentions were shattered, as Mercer was seemingly advancing with no intent to engage anyone. It was there cult like shout that snapped Jackal back to reality, the astounding 'Yes My Love' that carried through the town of Whiskey. The loudest of the shouts carried above the crowd, with the most zealous of them all in his tone, whereas, the majority of shouts came from around him, this shout came from his hind.

Approaching from his hind, his ears trailed the violent trampling of incoming appendages against the earth towards their position. With a percentile of the scrimmaging ceasing to respond to their Madonna's call, Jackal was able to use his keen hearing to make out distinct noises as per usual, the level of sensitivity his dog ears brought him. Honestly, he was too emotionally invested to pay those hastily footsteps any mind as yet. He'd listen to Diana's address to her people, and her mentioning of his abduction the day he left Zou, alluding to her connection or knowledge of incident. This time fresh tears would flow from the Mink's eyes, this time at the idea of Jewels being responsible for the raid on Zou that day. Suddenly, Whiskey Peak faded into the backdrop and his mind trailed back to days of past, training with his Master Diana, the night before the assault. Then, almost like clockwork it jumped to the next day, Jackal serving as an aiding to the Musketeers, only for his last glimpses to be that of his Father extending his hand in frustration to save him. It was all coming back to him, who'd abducted his people that day, the once distorted memories came into picture focus. The patches on the marine officers clothes reading 'Marine' flashed into his mind, and it'd be the next image that sent a chill down his spine, it was that of Diana wedging her claws into his Father's Chest. It all made sense now, what'd happen, Diana's current explanation and the repressed truth that filled his heart with hatred.

Clutching his claws into the dirt, a new wave of strength revitalised his body as the woman continue with her address. A paragraph into her address, when she'd begin to address Soju's relationship with her, Jackal rage clenched against his heart, focusing that energy at the tips of his limps, Jackal would release a quick charge with such hostility, that springboard step in of Jackal's actions would glide him through the sea of enemies, his body acting as a live battering ram to the forces in his way. They'd topple over like dominoes in tempest scale winds, Jackal's first charge placing him fifteen meters from his last position moving at Primary Speeds, before disbursing his second charge which would place him off ways ahead of Mercer, who'd been taking his time. The man's movements would be a blur to all untrained eyes, and even those that were wouldn't be able to stop the thirty-meter burst with ease, no, as Diana concluded her speech, placing death stamps on Jackal's head, the Mink was already resolved on what had to happen next. "Jewels! I need to know! If you we're the reason... Our people... That day... I won't ever forgive you!" Jackal thought as the voice in head seeped out into an outward declare, loud enough for all those approaching or adjacent to him to hear. As for the impending Mink to his rear, Jackal had noticed the footsteps and subtle 'Flicker Flicker' of similar electrical charges were trailing on his position, as the electrical freight train mowed down the crowd of grunts Jackal left in his wake with his own advance, they'd be casualties of war, and as such, the chase had now began. Would the Nail maintain it's momentum, or would it reach Jackal's former position and cease movement?

After Jackal's first burst, Mercer had issued him a warning to watch out, which time perfectly with the removal of a sniper somewhere at bay, however, none of these details would mean anything to Jackal as he'd advanced forward, and it was now, a race, Mercer, Jackal, and the Mink at the hind all heading towards the direction of Diana's broadcast. However, the person's whose blood lust trumped all wasn't the now deceased sniper nor the incoming Dwarf, it was Jackal's, for the first time, even during being a slave, he'd became truly angry, his ten feet float off the ground gliding him through the crowd like sparrow taking flight towards it's prey. If anyone had touched Jackal or come into griping range of his body, he'd simply detonate that limb and advance. After about thirty meters of travel, Jackal would've noticed the sound still trailing behind him, activating his Kenbunshoku Haki in anticipation, that is, if the Mink continued to chase Jackal's blinding speeds at this point, starting off at Secondary, and by the second charge, achieving Primary Speeds aimlessly.

Bazil swaggered behind Mercer and Jackal, his legs bowed and hands stuffed into his pockets as the chaos ensued around him. Blood and smoke danced through the air as the gap between the rag tag group grew ever larger. Not only was the Red Devil lagging behind his companions, he began to wander off on his own, creating an eighteen meter gap adjacent from Jackal’s current position, effectively placing himself out of harm’s way of any attack directed towards the mink. As they entered the town, this gap grew even more, the rampaging crowds now obstructing the path back to each other, for now. All around the pirate, men and women of all races fought with a strange obsession, these warriors were almost fanatical about their respective leaders. Their words echoed just as much as their clashing weapons, insults and slurs directed at Diana and Soju drove each individual to new heights. Striving to gain even an inch at the cost of their very own lives. Fighting for someone else, laying down your life for someone else’s ideals and squabbles. This isn’t something Bazil could understand. He was here to satiate his own greed and desire to stand above all others. Soju’s claim as king is what drove him to this point, to him, Diana and her cronies were nothing but an appetizer. As his fellow red head was the main course in the warheads eyes.

Bazil’s attention diverted back from his thoughts, the blank screen that had appeared on the mountains face suddenly it up. Appearing on it was a female, however she was not human, resembling Jackal in a way. Her mink like features were apparent as she smiled and began to speak, the question she asked was abit funny in Bazil’s mind. “Oh yeah, a shit ton..” He chuckled sarcastically, having just expressed how bored he actually was. However, Diana’s followers had a very different reaction, all of them echoing out ‘Yes my love’ over and over. Their strength revitalized as the momentum began to swing in their favor with every echo of the chant.

As they continued to chant for their love, Diana began to mention them individually by name, first was Mercer, then Bazil himself, and finally Jackal. The Red Devil listened to her words, questioning to why he was here in the first place. However, the answer to the question was as simple as anything, Bazil longed to drag down those who sat at the top and stand above their corpse. In his mind there could only be one king and that was himself. Diana then called for their heads, offering the reward of freedom to any person strong or brave enough to take the three of them on. Those around the Warhead at this point had stopped fighting amongst themselves and watched the Mink woman intently. As she concluded her speech, a blank white paper was covering the screen, though after a few seconds it was flipped over, revealing three poorly drawn images of those she mentioned. Though it did not look like him, the drawing retained his trademark hairstyle, something that the warriors around him took notice of. His flame like mohawk blew gently in the breeze as a sadistic smile warped his previous look of boredom. His bloodlust hung heavy on the air as warriors from both Diana and Soju’s forces gripped their weapons and slowly readied themselves to attack the warhead. His eyes like daggers, Bazil glanced at them all before letting out a sadistic laugh like roar, “Come at me! Ya pussy foot fucks!” He yelled out as his right arm took the shape of a minigun, the barrel began rotating almost immediately as the bullets ripped through the grunts like paper. His sadistic laugh providing the backdrop music for this hellish play.

As the last of the would be bounty hunters dropped to the ground, the Warhead walked over their lifeless corpses, resuming his swaggering trot towards the base of Whiskey Peak. Suddenly, a glint of light began racing towards his position. The sunlight reflecting off what seemed to be some sort of projectile approaching at high speeds. Without a second thought, Bazil, lifted up his right arm and unleashed a hailstorm of bullets to intercept the flying object. However, as soon as they made contact they ricocheted off in every direction, doing nothing to impede the objects trajectory. “Fuckin a!” Bazil shouted, realizing his weapon was useless, at the last second, he managed to turn his body just enough to avoid critical hit to his person, however the diamond would cut his bare chest, leaving a large gash across his pecs. The projectile would then impact the ground directly behind the pirate. “Tch!” Bazil grimaced as his left hand clutched his wounded flesh, his hand filing up with blood. As the smoke cleared from the impact, Bazil could see a small diamond like object wedged into the earth. “The fuck is this shit?! Is this furry cunt firing treasure at me now!?” He mumbled, returning his right arm back to its normal state as the bullets had no effect on the object. Bazil slowly closed the small gap, attempting to get a closer look at what had just injured him, to the pirate it resembled a small, diamond in the shape of a doll. Avaricious by nature, he slowly reached out to grab the immobile object, however, just before he making contact with it, his arm shot back quickly. Something in his gut told him to avoid touching this object, however, against his better judgement, Bazil once more reached out for the treasure. Unable to resist his own impulsive greed.

Swimming under the water of the bay that the town of Whiskey Peak was planted on, Gil felt revitalised by the cool salty water. He didn't know what to expect in front of him, or what he could even do to help the situation. He recognised that he was in a unique situation. Having taken the detour, no one would be focusing on a nameless fishman when pirates with bounties of over one hundred million were assaulting the town. That gave him the opportunity to slip into the town unnoticed. However he was split up from Jackal. With his speed, he wouldn't be catching him any time soon and Gil knew that the mink wouldn't be able to stop and wait for him once the assault had started. So what could he do?

Not even a ripple would touch the surface as he glided into the docks and popped his head up underneath the wharf. The bloody mess had reached even the water's edge, dying the azure blue a muddy red. Pirates and homies clashed, driven by motives of greed and aspiration. Gil watched for a second, waiting for an entry point into the brawl. An idea formed as he saw an animated suit of armour stumble onto the wooden dock above him after having fended off a toothless pirate. A tentacle of water reached up from beneath the dock and pulled the homie into the bay. Submerged in the water for ten or so seconds it would emerge once more, but this time it contained a certain fishy boi inside. Gil held the suit of armour with his control of water, able to manipulate it's body manually and hold it's mouth closed with a thin sheen of water, unnoticable to the eye. From the outside, the suit of armour would just seem like any other of the numerous homies that ran wild in Whiskey Peak.

Where he intended to go was the base of operations in the town. Gil had seen mortar fire from this place, so he guessed that the defending force was entrenched around here somewhere. Thankfully, finding it wouldn't be a problem thanks to the massive shells that were being fired up into the sky in lobbing arcs into the distance. Each loud bang would send another shell at the invading pirate ships and approaching land forces. Sinbad was smart enough to stay out of range, there wasn't any point in bringing the ship that close to the town for now. Gil headed in the direction of the sound. Trudging through blood and oil, he fended off a stray pirate here and there, using the metal armour to knock away a sword and delivering a wheighty blow to the man's head. Gil checked his den den mushi before moving on. The static he recieved was not a good sign. It looked like he was cut off from communications for the moment. If he could find a way to deal with that then that would result in a huge boon for the invaders.

As he neared his destination, the fighting died down as the ratio of Diana's forces to invaders increased. It was clear that this was a position that they were defending for some reason. Turning around a corner, he entered into denser housing and was faced with a checkpoint of sorts. Half a dozen flintlock rifles dropped their aim when they saw the homie suit of armour. One grunt called out to him. "Get back to the front lines!" "I have intel to report!" Gil called before running past. It wasn't exactly the most well thought out or effective method of entry usually, but in this chaotic battlefield, not every small security measure was going to be followed. And who would doubt a homie's loyalty to Diana anyway? Gil entered the camp, hearing the checkpoint guards light up a squad of pirates who had ventured too far into enemy territory. Who knew how long this camp would last anyway? It looked like Whiskey Peak could be captured by the invaders at any point. All the soldiers here were focussed on the blood pumping battle in front of them.

The layout of the camp was rather simple, the residential area made with thin walls of brick and plaster not suited to war. Gil went straight for the centre until he found a central house with a large roof area. The sides covered with sandbags and lined with barbed wire. Without hesitation, Gil ran up the steps to the roof to where the headquarters was. Down below he could see the mortar cannons fixed to the ground, being loaded with shots and gunpowder. Just then a video began to play on all the walls inside the camp, revealing a female mink. Gil was startled by the response, all of those inside the camp shouted out in a chorus, which Gil quickly joined in with to hide himself. Gil took in everything she said, trying to decipher what was going on here. Some of it made sense, some didn't. Most notibly, it seemed that Bazil and Jackal were about to be hunted down.

Looking around at Diana's forces inside the camp, he was astounded by their change in face. They stood there, gawking at the mink's projected visage. Starry eyed they responded to every word with a dreamy smile. At the end of her speech, she told them of Jackal and the others. From the elevated vantage point, Gil turned to look out over the town to see his furry friend running toward the cactus mountain. So she was up there? The fishman then noticed that all of those in the HQ were looking out at the three in the distance as well. They were in a bind. Targets on their back. Gil had to do something. "There he is! That mink is Jackal! Fire the mortar! Bring him down for our queen!" Gil shouted from inside the suit of armour, mustering all of the false passion that he could to envoke a response from the lovestruck homies. The objective was simple. He was trying to rally the homies to fire upon Jackal. But since the mortar coordinates would have to be set and then the shots would arc over to his position, the speedy mink would be long gone. Gil really wanted the mortar to hit the many bodies who had grouped up and were now pursuing him.

The time pressure really was on, the video had made that clear. Could he do something from this location? That would depend on what he could find here. He would look anything that would be of use to him. In particular he was hoping to find whatever was jamming the den den mushi's as well as the communication network for Diana's forces, including the device recieving the audio and video from wherever Diana was.

Love v. Hate

"There he is! That mink is Jackal! Fire the mortar! Bring him down for our queen!"

Saying something like that was fine but not from a homie. They were not treated equally and knew never to give anyone orders; at most they could relay something they were told. Their lives weren't of any meaning at all. There was a countless supply of them on this Island. So what would happen wouldn't be a eye opener. Without a word or hesitation the Man in charge of this group with the mortars would lash out in a devastating manner. He focused most of the time on his strength than anything else so. When if he fist would collide with the suit of armor from behind the force would be enough to send it out of the wall. The damage to the homie would be sever. Unknowing to the Striker the person in side would suffer damage just a degree lower. It was a kidney shot. His fist strong enough to pass right through the suit of armor and make contact with what was inside. They were all close together up here. Well the Suit of armor and this Man. A distance of inches only being between them. His passion for Diana was not something that blinded him it just made him fight harder and with more focus, like most. And the sad thing is. He would repeat what the Homie would say. Albeit in just fewer words. "If you see any of those three! FIRE AT WILL!" Just like it was pointed out by the Homie/Kappa. They'd attempt to fire at where Jackal last was. Even with switching to animated shells they wouldn't get him. Aligning the mortar up and loading it took too much time. And it wasn't like the Mink was stationary. Only person that was even able to keep up slightly was Spod.

His attack missed it's mark, but that was fine. He did think it'd land but he was wrong. There though was no reason to dwell on that as Diana would say. He speed forward using all four of his limbs. It was strange that no Mink here had transformed into their Sulong form when the moon was so high and predominate. There was reason and it would be brought up now. Diana told all Minks to not do so. Except for One. It didn't take him long to notice that he would not be able to catch Jackle the way he was right now. SO, he'd stop and turn his gaze upward. Even with combat swirling around him. Mercer and Jackle were far ahead. Bazil was a block or two away from his wandering. And Kappa was in the center of the town, four blocks away from this spot. No one even stopped Spod as he began to transform a few looked at him in horror as he turned into a monstrosity. He was going to show them all what a true Mink could do. What a Mink that was raised by Diana should be capable of.

He kicked forward the technique the dwarf used being Soru. It'd go right at the hand of the reaching Pirate. Attempting to break everything he came into contact with. Bullet was actually living up to his name now, in some ways, with this devil fruit. He was a force of nature and knew that after he beat Bazil Diana would forgive him. Forgive him for letting Oceanus harm her.

"Another Homie." One of Soju's Men would say if Kappa had indeed been struck by the Man above. There being ten of them in total. The fall, unless change mid-air, would cause him to fall right in front of a group that had been heading over to this very spot. If the hit from before landed. Their goal being to destroy the building to stop the annoyance of mortar strikes. Upon him speaking they'd fire at the Homie, some bullet would ricochet off of the suit but some would pierce it. Dealing with homies was a annoying thing that everyone had found out. Killing them actually required effort even if they weren't strong. If Kappa was sent flying they'd not meet. But their advance on this building would continue and they'd storm up the stairs. The two Men that spoke clashed. Both of them were similar brutes of fighters who gave out as much hits as they took.

Jackal nor Mercer could really be stopped. Both moved on a mission and were either to fast or too strong to be dealt with. So they would make it to the stronghold without any real problems, unless you caught what was coming from behind. If they wished to enter the stronghold nothing would be there to stop them. Rather a Homie would be there to great them at the bottom steps that lead up to the building that Diana called her home when she lived here. Only Skippy and Oceanus were two people that came to this place and didn't bend to her will. Oceanus was not able to make it even back on the Island. While Skippies last known location was on this place. Given information but not seen again. And just like Oceanus she may not ever be seen again. But Diana nor any of her men cared about those two. Oceanus lost a leg when he last was here and who was in his spot right now was Mercer. A Man that would lose a lot more than just a leg. Jackal was in the place of Skippy. He wanted to know something but couldn't be trusted. Even with the situations being barely similar Diana still held no real resistance within her 'stronghold'. Almost everyone was fighting in the town. Only person not accounted for was Rizor.

"I can't believe she gave me such a ability-rorero! Does that mean I am not to die here like the rest-rorero!?"
Rizor was on top of a Cactus Mountain, but not the one in Whiskey peak. He had been brought over here to this other one by a Bat Mink. Even though it wasn't allowed he told the Mink to use it's Sulong form to get him to his destination quickly. After the Mink had done so it was killed. As if word got out that Rizor had someone disobey her he'd be in more trouble. Why he did this? It was simply because he needed a lot of stone. Enough that he could take out not just those three but even Soju. His smile grew as large as it ever had been. As he began to sink into the very surface that he stood on.

Mercer took no time at all to scale the large staircase, as he felt Diana's aura. Albeit it felt slightly different he still felt it. He reloaded his weapons as he ascended up the stairs. Finally when he got there or if Jackal beat him up the stairs there she sat. As if she was the queen of the world. Her face was shrouded with a veil and her attire was different. She dressed as if she was at a funeral. It gave Mercer a bad feeling but when he got up the stairs he aimed his pistol at her.

"Mercer, don't. If you attack me and kill me...will Soju have peace? Or are you that jealous of me?"
It said this to Mercer. But, if Jackal wanted to ask something she'd answer him and also address him. They were the first two to make it to the top.

"FUCK! FINALLY!" Soju would say as he had arrived to the entrance of Whiskey Peak. He wasn't tired as he walked here to gain back all the energy he had lost. With him here now he was ready to let loose. He had seen the shit Diana had said. But he didn't care what came out of her mouth. He just didn't like how she had copied his style. He knew others would but didn't want it used on him. Before Soju could rush forward he'd feel the very ground shake. He'd look around before he'd actually see it. He'd sigh and roll his eyes as what he saw was just dumb. There was another giant making it's way. Not toward Soju but the town. It couldn't have been a homie. It was something else.

They moved closer and closer. Finally the Island was within view. They finally had gotten into position. They could've arrived sooner but had to wait for the information they needed before advancing. Since that information had been relayed they moved. And now they finally were within position. Encircling the entire Island. Their distance was a compritable one as they were just within their cannons range. The focus from those under Diana were not on them. Due to how many things were going on at Whiskey Peak paying attention to their arrival would not be anyone's first thought. If it was that'd be a reach that could cost you your life. As many people were dying at this moment. Neither side wanted to yield to the other.

"I can't believe you really did it. The Red King's Son and other noteworthy Pirates in one place. Ripe for the picking. Truly, Diana you are more than deserving of your title as Warlord. This does not wipe away all of your crimes but it is a start. But, do you wish to take the first shot? Or shall I?"

Who spoke would come into play shortly. His questions would not be given a response and so he would not act yet. Though he was incharge of these thirty-one vessels. Six were Full-Rigged sized, Fourteen were Brig sized, and the rest were Brigantine sized vessels. This force was not all the World Government could muster. But what they felt was enough to take care of what needed to be done. These ships also were going to be used for the conflict happening some ways away on Sandy Island. It was time to show the world of Pirates that the World Government hasn't been simply sitting on their asses in this ever changing world. With the help of a certain brilliant scientist on Long Ring Long Land they have begun to build more and more ships. But not only ships but other weapons that will be used later on.

"The Worst Generation"

It's the thrill in the end. In that moment when something stolen becomes mine or is it? That's the bliss I desire.

It was on days like this that legends were born, or martyrs; only time truly knew the answer to that question. As Jackal barely escaped the pursuing Mink while in his standard state of being, to the eyes of those around him, the only thing that could've been caught from the moving force that was Jackal's Explosive charge was the sight of his Purple and Black Calico Scarf, and it'd be on this day that Jackal shedded his former Moniker of 'Bandit King' and he'd take on the nickname of Calico Jack, abbreviating his first name in the eyes of the media. However, none of this mattered to the Mink, his focus was escaping and getting to Diana's location, and along with Mercer, oddly enough, without much hesitation, he'd done just that. Arriving at the base of Diana's operations, a Homie waited for their arrival, the Homie wasn't very intimidating, but after seeing how durable these animated like creatures were in the past, Jackal activated his Kenbunshoku Haki, just to check the area for any ill will, and though he'd felt none from Diana's servant, from Diana herself, the pressure that surrounded the building as him and Mercer entered would be enough to shatter the minds of a weaker man. Jackal's pace would hasten, he'd follow behind Mercer, allowing him to take the lead, Mercer wouldn't comment on this action, as Mercer readied his weapons for any situation, Jackal could've feel the pressure each step as they climbed the staircase of the building. It was at this point that Jackal noticed a few things. One, the uneasy feeling he'd been picking up on since Whiskey Peak, it'd been Diana the whole time, her presence seemed to ooze from the monsters who attacked them, and at a primal, animal level, his Jackal blood was sensing the energy in the air. The second thing he'd realise was as he'd climb the staircase, peering through the windows that we're placed on each level of the storied building as they climbed, a giant Monster in the distance, back from the direction they travelled.

Whether this man was with Soju or Diana, it didn't matter, he'd feel the same way he felt as he watched Simon and Beckham fight that day in the casino, he was significantly weak and underwhelmed in this situation, and as such, his first instinct was to escape. The staircase was longer than expected, and as Jackal climbed he'd hear the sound of his Baby Den Den rattling, though this was but a chance by his crew to get into contact with him, Jackal answered the phone. "Boss! Can you hear me!? If not, I'll hang up and following the plan." Sinbad said, talking in code. Raising the Den Den to his mouth, "Shishshishi... I can hear you, Sinbad. You've done well to survive so long you bastard. Unfortunately, where I am right now isn't a place to be having a conversation." Jackal stated. "Fine. I'll make this quick. The Log Pose has set to the next location. It's an island named Baltigo about several days away from here. We can leave this island at anytime. Bazil. Soju. Diana. We should prioritise our safety." Sinbad theorised. "I agree but if I leave here without finding out the truth... This whole journey is pointless." Jackal stated into the Den Den, talking loud enough for only Mercer who was a few steps ahead of him to hear the conversation in and out, as they'd climb the winding staircase. "What do you mean Boss!? What's going on your end. Look. One more thing before I go, I saw it with my own eyes. One of the Mink's transformed into this huge monster... I don't know how but... be careful." Sinbad reported.

"Sinbad. Stay alive. If anything happens, look out for the men and Kappa. Where I'm heading now... There's a small chance I might not make it out in one piece." Jackal stated, cutting the call abruptly, as the entrance to the room at the building's peak had come upon them. As the door opened, the Homie that escorted them scuttled over to Diana's side. The room was wide and expansive, with giant window panes holding Victorian Styled Multicolour Glass, overlooking the whole island from each direction. As from this high up, anything could've been seen from the peak. Jackal focused his Kenbunshoku at analysing room, and any traps that'd bring. Once he'd noticed it was safe, he'd enter the room, to see at it's back about thirty-meters into the room, sat this Castles Madonna, perked on a throne, veiled in black funneral wear and a veil to conceal her eyes.

Diana wrote:
"Mercer, don't. If you attack me and kill me...will Soju have peace? Or are you that jealous of me?"

"Sorry to interject." Jackal stated, raising his hand to Mercer in a gesture stating before you respond, he'd wanted the floor momentarily. Whether Mercer went before or after him, was his decision but his question was cemented to occur in time. "Jewels.... Or is it Diana now? There's so many things I want to ask you..." Jackal stated, as he'd clutch his fists so tight that his nails would puncture his skin and draw blood. "I'll limit my curiosity to this question as this isn't exactly the scenario to chit chat. Three Years Ago, on Zou, we're you responsible for those Marines invading Zou?" Jackal inquired. As the moment Jackal had seen Diana's face, it'd all come back to him. The people he fought that day weren't poachers, at the time, he'd have no knowledge of marines or the outer workings of the world but now that he'd connected his memories of present and past, it'd all make sense. The coherent uniformed dress, the patches and logos reading 'Marine' on the various parts of their garments, and the odd bunch of them bearing masks. It'd all fall into perspective, to be honest, before Diana spoke, he'd already know the answer in his heart, at it was the anger in his belly that made him afraid of himself.

For all along, Jackal had painted humans as the true monsters, but in actuality, it would've been one of his own kind, nonetheless, one he'd respected to even parental statuses that betrayed not only him but the very people he was so fond of. The very Mink's that every day during his incarceration, he'd wonder if they'd make it out of the raid that day alive, how many of his friends from the Morning Side had lived, if the ruler had managed to cast them out. If Jewels and Jackal Senior had lived, every day, these thoughts ran concurrently on replay, even now as his journey as a pirate. Her answer would be enough, as in his eyes, no matter how many times she's labelled Diana, in his heart, the only person who stood before him for now, was his beloved Jewels. The anger of the reality that she was the reason he'd lost everything, that anger however, wasn't erased by who she was, no, depending on her response, it'd only light the flame in his belly brighter.

In a flash, the diamond like object kicked off the ground and closed the gap between himself and the greedy pirates outstretched hand. Bazil’s eyes could just barely keep up, knowing that dodging was not an option, the Red Devil used every bit of his primary strength to catch the diamond bullet in his right hand. The impact of doing so would shatter his hand and wrist, his bones audibly cracked as they broke from contact, however, his hand was now effectively locked into a closed position around the dwarf’s diamond covered head, preventing a quick escape. Without a moment’s hesitation, Bazil sent a left hook towards Bullet’s uncovered legs, the Warhead’s left hand taking the form of fragmentation grenade that would explode the moment it made contact with the tiny creature’s body, the effects dealing primary damage to Bullet’s lower body. If for some reason the dwarf had managed to free himself from Bazil’s grip before contact was made, the pirate would self detonate his hand, covering a 10m radius that the dwarf would have more than a little trouble escaping from.

With his hand locked into position, the only way for the dwarf to free himself would be to uncoat the diamond that covered his upper body, creating just enough space to be released from the Red Devil’s death grip. Blood dripped down from Bazil’s broken hand, the crimson liquid panting the ground a reddish hue as it mixed into the sand. His devilish smile never once waned, the pirates pain tolerance was a testament to his willpower. “Round fuckin two?” He snipped sarcastically, his breathing was heavy and his right hand was now useless in its human form.

Yasuke and Ezekiel | The Skuttlebutt

Traversing the waterways, the Skuttlebutt was now in site of Jackal’s vessel, the Black Baron. The duo had caught up to their compatriots, now sitting roughly twenty meters away from the boat. The pair had encountered little to no resistance to get here, since most of the action had now been aimed at their captain and Jackal. As they neared the baron, Yasuke stood at the front, waving his large arms towards Sinbad.

“Ahoooy!” The samurai bellowed out to the Bandit Kings crew, “How goes everything?! Are Sir Jackal and the young lord still okay?!” As he waited for a response, Ezekiel could be heard behind him mocking every word the cook said in a hushed, high pitch voice. Drawing the ire of the samurai, “Will you shut up and drive the god damned boat, you fool!”

Gil attempted to rally the Diana forces, which ended in a lackluster response. What he got for his troubles was a punch to the side. This hit penetrated the homie's armour and smacked into the condensed water underneath, sending Gil into the air unexpectedly. When this happened, the fishman realised that his attempt had failed for whatever reason so he decided to ditch the charade. Gil gripped the water that surrounded him inside the suit with a curl of his toes and wrenched his body into a midair spin. Condensed strings of water would puncture the suit and fly straight toward every one of the dozen or so Diana forces inside the camp, including the man who had just punched him. These strings would whip around in a flurry and sweep the area. Gil's spin attack would turn the camp into a blender, slicing up those inside. At the same time, the armour homie that encased him would be shredded like a can being opened, the pieces of metal falling off his body. Gil would still hit the wall, but he would soften the impact with a burst of spray.

Should all the foes in the area be dealt with, Gil would call out to the approaching Soju's Men. "Here, let's control of this position. We can use these cannons to secure the area." It would be clear that he was on their side due to his attack. If he still couldn't find what he was looking for at this point, Gil would step into the shadow and hide while looking out from the vantage point.
