After he left the infirmary he was fine with whatever outcome Jack wanted to go with. Hannibal doesn’t care what the dwarf went with. He felt that way about a lot of things after what he was told on Sandy Island, by a pirate. Those words engraved into his mind. He knew he was late for the meeting but felt it was okay, he was injured. His cast clearly visible and the reason he had it being known. It took less than five minutes too make to the meeting room. He was taking his time and ended up not being the one to open the door to the meeting room. A Captain was the one to do so. He looked panicked and distraught about whatever had caused him to push the door open. Drenched in his own sweat.
‘He must’ve ran here for somewhere far.’ Hannibal would think to himself as he saw the guys uniform was soaked. Hannibal would walk in behind him and listened to everything that he would about to spew out his mouth.
“Water 7 has been attacked by a army of Sea Kings! They say Le`luce was sighted there!”
Instalty, before anyone else could muster anything to say. Hannibal would speak. "You did good." He'd look over at Birdal and then over to the Vice Admiral. "I'll go ahead and do what I can." Hannibal would say but Birdal would raise his hand right after that.
"Hannibal, you are late. Please just sit there down and allow the Marines to handle this." Birdal spoke like this to Hannibal simply due to him still wanting Hannibal to belong to the Cipher Pol rather than the Marines. "You have another assignment to attend to that we need you for."
Hannibal didn't know how to respond to what Birdal would say. He would sigh and take a seat just to get the eyes that were on him off of him. Whatever his assignment was it had to be extremely important. If it meant Hannibal who had the ability to freeze water better than anyone within this world couldn't do so on Water 7 to stop Sea Kings. He wouldn't say anything else as the Marines would be spoken to by others on the situation. Time would pass and the Marines that would go to either Water 7 or Sandy Isle would do so. Something was really off about the whole atmosphere within the room. When people would leave the room some would give Hannibal a not so friendly look. Which made no sense as a LOT of them were friends with Hannibal. He had fought with them a lot in the past. Drank with them a lot. The amount of good time she had with them were almost infinite. But something unknowing to Hannibal had transpired that put him on the bad end when it came to many if not all of them. Something he'd come to find out soon since it was now just him and Birdal within the meeting room.
"You are going back to Alabasta." Birdal would simply say. He didn't waste any time to where Hannibal was going to be sent. As he knew that place was somewhere Hannibal wanted to take a break from.
"Really?" Hannibal would ask. He honestly never wanted to go back to that Island, there was too much going on. The people and environment were just something he didn't enjoy. There were a few that he thought were cool and bearable but all in all he didn't want to go back there. He felt the best place he could go at this moment was Water 7. If he went there he could save many lives and maybe really live up to his "Hero" title. Birdal knew of his powerful Devil Fruit ability and ever time he had time he practice to increase his mastery.
