Davy D. Marx
How yah doin. ooc: Image is what you could use for what the outside looks like. Despite it not being time for the EMERALD Games the entire Kingdom was decorated. Thousands have already caused the streets to be crowded and lively. Davy himself met someone all the way from Dressrosa and another from North Blue not that long ago, just to give a example of how diverse the place was. Races of all colors and types were everywhere. And you could say that this Festival had brought the world together. That isn't to say there aren't instances were racism doesn't take place, as it does. It is just not able to move out of the shadow of the festivities. You were more likely to get drunk with a Fishman rather than kill one. Davy, currently, was a little ways into the Greenie Pass. The sheer amount of people had caused each town, small or large, in the Greenie pass to also be large and bursting with new life. So, there was no need for him to be in the Common Grounds or Emerald District, life was everywhere. "This is the perfect setting for a great tragedy-eh." Davy, who was about twenty drinks in would say to the Fishman next to him. The Clown being someone he got help from. He also being someone that was in a tough spot. As a few weeks ago Davy was locked up. And he broke out. And then he needed help getting back to the surface. And that is where Pepe came in. A saving grace. Even though Davy felt there was something off about the Clown, even though that is how he felt about all Clowns. He could never read them. "Ahhh don't say such thing Davy-kun! Enjoy your freedom! Enjoy! Enjoy! I a place filled with your own kind! Enjoy! But keep in mind you still want to compete in those games! So, don't over do it! But enjoy!" Pepe would say as he would slap the back of Davy with each sentence. And when he said own Kind he meant criminals. As that is what populated this town the most. Guards that could stop them really just stayed in the Common ground and Emerald District, as that is where those of true importance to the Kingdom were. Another reason Davy came out here. As if he did get into something he could deal with it without problem. In total this town had around five thousand people enjoying themselves. In this bar,-complex(it was made up of three buildings attached to each other) the largest, over two hundred folk populated it right now. And there being a decent amount of room for them all. Each being three stories the building itself being , one of those being a basement. The stone buildings were sturdy(4 Endurance) and the main way this town made their bread. As it was owned by the one overseeing it. Hired goons being the protection. And its structure being so reinforced due to the income it brought in. Davy was on the second floor of the building on the right, way in the back corner. For multiple reasons. Being in this corner allowed him to see anyone that would be coming toward him, unless they were coming from the window to his right. The window being around three feet away from him. The only thing else to his back being the stone walls, his chair resting against them. His table had around eight people at it, including himself and Pepe. They were gambling, that was the purpose of this entire building they were in. While the other two had a different focus of income. "You hear that rain-eh!? Means I am about to clean everyone out." Davy would say as he would slam his hand on the table, which caused everyone to grown out in irritation. He had been beating everybody. Beating anyone for anything in any game. He had to pay a portion to the house but he could keep a lot of things. He even won a strange weapon, some weird staff. Along with a dagger. He bet his dials and beli, but lost nothing. |
