~ACT I~ The morning normally for Elliot, he woke up in the Marine Headquarters stationed just outside of Future City. He didn’t have any assignments for today, Robert was out and about, and the crew had the day off. He put on his civilian attire, which consisted of pair of jeans, shoes, and his blue hoodie with the red stripe. He didn’t wear anything with Marine logics or symbols. He just wanted to enjoy the city without having to worry about the World Government stereotype following him even more than it already does. The Long-leg was going to do something for himself today. While he was apart of the Runaways, he grew accustomed to drinking the occasional beer after something good happened. He had joined a crew that was going after some decent players in the outlaw scenes. On his first visit into the city, he scouted out various shady bars that often sold him drinks without a second thought because of his immense size. He lucked out being fifteen feet tall, but it did have certain disadvantages with building and ship sizing. He needed a large room without having to sleep in a very uncomfortable position. He took off out the headquarters in his civilian clothes with a little bit of money in his pocket. He wanted to have a couple of drinks and see what the shade side of Future City had to offer. He wouldn’t do anything to cause trouble with the World Government or Happo Navy. The bar wasn’t anything special in looks or structure, but it was crated for large individuals and was garage themed. They had a lot of robot, car, and anything machines themed there. He found it a nicer place to get the drinks he wanted, and he didn’t really have to talk to the people within. Elliot turns down two or three different locks before getting to the street with Toni’s Garage on it. The horribly painted sign hung on the front of the building with the letters painted a red color with the background a white paint that was chipping off. It didn’t sound to busy inside, but he figured it was still pretty early in the afternoon for drinks. Walking into the bar, Elliot made his way over to the barter, ordered a simple ale, and took his first gulp before closing his eyes and sighing deeply. He loved the taste of a good beer or ale after some good luck. He opened his eyes to look at the bar mirror in front of him. He could see a board on the back wall with fostered pinned to it. You could tell that most of the posters were crossed out, ripped, or barely readable, but he noticed a man standing in front of it with a inspecting look on his face. The long-leg took another drink of his ale before turning around on his stool to face the man fully. He didn’t take notice at first because he was too busy looking for something that obviously wasn’t there. Turning around to head to the bar, he instantly noted Elliot looking at him with a curious look on his face. It seemed like things were about to get interesting in Future City. -Word Count: 542 -Tags: Speech Color ~Buki Buki no Mi ~Character Sheet |
