For years there as been some sort of peace. Of course there were still demon attacks here and there, but there wasn't someone plotting against the charmed ones. The elders saw the new threat and gave the Power of three to Piper's three youngest children, three daughters.. They are just now learning about that power and how to harness it. The darkness is coming again.
