man dressed in garbs resemblant of a samurai's set a porcelain shot glass of sake down on the wooden bar and looked over to his right. There, to his right, was a man who was dressed in formal business attire giving him an occasional glance as if he had recognized the samurai's face or maybe he didn't. This samurai was Musou. Well he wasn't solely a samurai anymore. He was now property of the world government as an Ensign enlisted in the Marines.

Shifting his attention back forward, he got the barkeepers attention by raising a hand to signal for his bill. "P-please." Musou looked back to his right to see the man with the glances had approached him with a hand of Beli bills in his hand. Musou raised a brow at the man. It seemed he hand intentions on paying Musou's bill under the impression the samurai was a woman. "Please?" Musou's calm voice combed the man's nerves, but perhaps they brushed against the grain. His skin was already rose tinted from alcohol consumption, but now his skin went beet red from embarrassment. "A-a man?" The beli bills crumpled as his grip on them tightened and then Musou averted his attention back towards the bartender and he just shook his head. A section of the bar erupted in laughter and the man scurried back to where he had come from with raised shoulders and his head low. Pulling the appropriate amount of money, Musou paid the bartender and began to leave the bar. Just as he was almost in arms reach of the door, it burst open. Three men, one looking practically dead came in the bar and demanded drinks. The two who were in better health carried their bloodied comrade by his armpits and sat him down. His head dripped with blood, his shirt was soaked in blood from wounds on his torso, and one of his pant legs were ripped off showing gruesome burns down from the shin to where his crispy burnt shoes were.

Musou wasn't the only one with eyes stuck on this trio. While in Baltigo the unusual happened, this was particularly unusual. "Um. . . I'm sorry gentlemen, but we can't serve you while that man is in that state. It's just unethical and its grossing out the other customers." A waiter had approached them and said this to them. At that they looked around the bar with furrowed brows and everyone but Musou turned their eyes away from them. "That fellow there has no problem with us being here." One of the men pointed this out as if it'd give them leverage in the dispute, but it obviously meant little to nothing, especially since Musou was on his way out.

"Errr, yes, but that one man isn't the majority of the bar sir." The two goons who were in good health exchanged a moment with mutual glances of disbelief. Please . . . I won't last much longer. This was my favorite bar, I just want one Rashomon Special before I die. Grant a man his dying wish please." It was painful to watch the bloodied man rasp the words out his mouth, the waiter even had to lean in a bit to completely hear him. After hearing his words he looked for help with the bartender, but the man just shook his head in disapproval. This is where things went sour.

usou detected the tension hike up when the bartender shook his head, so he went and took a seat at a table that had a few people at it, but he paid no mind to them. "I would love to grant a man his dying wish, b-" "But you won't." Up until now, the three goons were actually coming off as respectful, disregarding the fact they created a blood trail to their seats and now a puddle of blood was forming around their table. When one of the goons said this though, his voice was noticeably more grim. The waiter heard the man's voice and shuddered involuntarily. Bloodlust was in the air. "This man just killed the Tanaka Clan's second in command freeing this territory from their stupid taxes and protection fees! This is how you repay him?!" One of the goons stood up and slammed his hands on the blood drenched table in anger and disbelief. The bar was shocked at this declaration and some customers even spat their beer out. The waiter at this point stumbled onto his ass in fear and seemed paralyzed with fear.

Musou continued to watch not the three included in the main ensemble, but the audience. This was a dangerous area and the bar was crawling with degenerates affiliated with a multitude of gangs. Some on good terms, some on bad terms, but this bar was a place where gang violence wasn't tolerated and as if it were a code of honor, it was respected even amongst gangsters. This was different though, to be in a gang's territory and declare you killed their second in command was to ask for a problem. "He killed who?" A tall muscular man stood from the back of the bar and began to approach the man who just shouted. A few others stood and one man even drew his gun while the shouting man's focus was drawn to the muscled man. "Fuck if he didn't! You're talking reckless!" Before the man could turn and face the gunman, he fired his pistol and shot the man right in the head. Matter splattered from the man's head and he feel dead to the floor. His bloodied ally was resting his head in a pool of his on blood on the table while he bled out. His eyes were almost fully closed, but he hadn't yet tasted his Rashomon Special, so he had no intentions on clocking out just yet. Unfortunately for this reason, he saw his comrades body fall limp to the floor with a hole in his head.

"Shit." Musou knew things would only get worse from here, but he didn't want to draw attention to himself so he sat still for a bit longer. There was no reason to act. Not yet at least.

"You idiot, this is a violence free zone! Why would you do that?!" Tears welled up in the bloodied goons eyes and the other goon stood up and drew his pistol and fired back on the man who killed his friend. Just as he was about to fire, the muscled man tackled him and skewed the trajectory of the bullet. "Gah!" The wrong person was shot and this just escalated things further and in a few more seconds, chaos erupted.

One might ask why was a Marine such as Musou on Baltigo as a lowly Ensign. Not only that, but in such an establishment with so many criminals. Given the circumstances he became a Marine under, Musou is a special case. By his superior officer who had no interest in accepting a criminal into his ranks, he dropped Musou off on Baltigo on an "assignment".

"I'll return in 3 months. By then you should have discovered your own sense of justice. Either that or have joined the ranks of these criminals. Either way, I'll be back in 3 months."

It seemed like bullshit, because it was bullshit. Despite that Musou decided to take the assignment partially serious. He'd never been off of Wano, so he was enjoying the city and he had countless criminals to justly hone his skills on. All he had to do was say it was in the name of justice and he was in the right.

So now that chaos was running rampant, Musou decided to do what he thought was appropriate.

ullets flew through the air as did fists and blades. What Musou did wasn't begin to take as many heads as possible. This was something the old him wouldn't have done. The strong thrive and the weak wither, it was the ways of the world that was beyond anybody's control. Despite this, as a Marine he felt it was appropriate that he act as a hero of sorts and prioritize the weak. A waitress was curled into a ball on the ground trying to avoid being caught up in the brawl, but a bundle of ruffians tied up in a fiery fist fight were stampeding her way. As fast as he could Musou had ran over while ducked down to avoid bullets. He wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her as he sped for the door while pulling her along.

As he ran through the chaos he had felt a few bullets graze his skin, but he couldn't be bothered to pay much mind to it. AS long as he hadn't taken a direct hit, he would be fine and that's exactly what it was. Bursting through the doors of the bar, he saw that the security on the outside of the bar were slumped against the walls dead along with a few other bodies. Looking ahead, the bloody scene had somehow already extended out into the streets. "This is ridiculous." He couldn't believe how quickly the madness had spread. What was the point behind all of this violence?

"Mr. Swordsman!>" The woman in his clutches shouted out and pointed to his right at some bastard approaching him with a metal pipe. Musou shifted his eyes to spot the foe as he pivoted to turn and face the man. With the waitress under his right arm and his two blades fastened to his left hip, it seemed he was at a bit of a disadvantage. Reaching to the hilt of O Ren-Ishii with his left hand, he pulled the blade partially out the scabbard. In a surreal manner and array of sparks spat out from the half draw as the blade made a grinder noise against the inside of its sheathe. These sparks grew in size as they sped towards the ruffian who stopped in his tracks in astonishment. Mercilessly the fireflies peppered the man and ate him up in a flash of flames.

"You're strong?" It was evident the woman was surprised, but Musou didn't feel disrespected. Not many were capable of such feats. "Stronger than your average person." Musou slid his weapon back into its pocket and continued to flee the scene with the woman under his arm. It didn't make any sense how things had got so bad so quickly. Eventually he found himself in some unbothered alleyway and it was there that he had let the woman down. "You're on your own from here." The woman looked at him and gave him a solid head nod. "Thank you, so much." The waitress had begun to run off down the alley when three goons came from round the corner which she was headed. In a rush she had bumped into one of them and fallen down. "We out here saving hoes now?" Musou was already on his way out to the main road when he heard the goon speak, apparently to him.

urning his head to the source of the noise, he saw they had the waitress he'd just saved gripped tight by her head of hair with a knife to her throat. "Hehehe, you worked hard to get this broad to safety, it'd be a shame if she were to get killed eh?" They all snickered at Musou who now had their full attention and began to calmly step forward. "Ah ah, stop right there." They pulled the knife closer to the woman's neck, given how close it already was this caused the blade to draw blood. The woman yelped and went into a state of panic, but she surprisingly did well to keep it internalized as to not make the situation worse for herself.

"What do you want?" Musou stopped like they had told him and he watched as they eyed him up and down. "Those swords look nice, we'll take those in exchange for her." To Musou the woman's life wasn't worth his swords, not even one of them, but he wore different stripes now. Even though he wore nothing that said he was a Marine so he wouldn't be sullying the World Government's reputation, this was his Marine training so he was supposed to be acting as a Marine would. "Tch." He'd easily be able to kill each of these guys if this wasn't a hostage situation, but it was. Complying with their wants, he pulled his sheathed weapons off his waist by the sheath. Tossing the swords at the two empty handed ruffians, they grinned greedily when they caught O-Ren Ishii and Ta`ampa. "Hahaha, dumber than you look." Pushing the silly broad forward towards Musou, she fell onto the concrete sprawled out in shock. All the while the skirmish was continuing on in the main streets. "Show him how stupid he his." The two freshly armed grinning thugs looked to the man speaking who seemed to be in charge of them and he gave them a single nod. This made their grins turn sour with evil. Like beast they charged Musou, ignoring the woman and the deal they had made with him.

usou was now ass out empty handed and fighting against two opponents. Most would falter in this situation, but it wasn't the first time he had been in a fight where he was disadvantage. Rather than panicking, he got comfortable in a stance where his feet were shoulder width apart and his knees were bent with his hands open raised. As they were about to close in on him, he smirked devilishly and his ruby eyes seemed more intense. "You're really going to charge a samurai with his own swords?" This implications that came with the confidence statement, Musou's bloodlust, and his expression put weakness in the goon's hearts. Ultimately what this caused them to do was second guess their chances of winning against him. They hesitated.

This wasn't a front to cause this to happen however. It was just the result. Though he planned to take full advantage of the opening, he didn't need it to overcome both the buffoons. "Don't let him scare you." These were the words of the leading goon who stayed back and it actually worked to get the two knuckleheads back on their A game. They trusted him. The one with O-Ren Ishii had the maiden above his head ready to come downwards onto Musou. While the one who wielded Ta`ampa had the beast pulled back in preparation for a thrust. Instead of taking the defense like one would expect him to do, Musou went on the offense. The thrust would definitely be able to cause more harm than a one handed slash from an amateur. Musou had no intentions on getting hit by the slash, but he could afford it if it happened. Stepping in towards the two weaklings, he pulled his palm back to strike when a gunshot rang out from behind the two goons. Though Musou was affected by this, neither of them hesitated. It was from their leader and though the bullet hit no one, it did what it needed to draw Musou's attention in a crucial moment.

With no regards for the fact it was their own master, O-Ren Ishii bit into Musou's shoulder and Ta`ampa dove into his belly. "Guh." "Hahahaha! You fell for it! You really let this bitch cause your downfall!" The man had simply shot into the sky, but it caused Musou's brain to instantly visualize the waitress on the ground being shot and his attention was involuntarily drawn to see if it was the case. "Ha! We got him." Musou gritted his teeth as blood dripped from his wounds. "You really are amateurs." He was hurt, but he would never show it to his enemies. "The fight isn't over till one side is dead and gone."

he ruffians were shocked by Musou's resolve, but it didn't make them forget they had the upper hand. "Fuck you!" They pulled their weapons out Musou's fresh wounds and started their second attack. Blood spit out the stab wound, but his shoulder wasn't that bad. The stab wasn't as bad as it seemed either, but it was still worse than the other. Like any other seasoned swordsmen, Musou knew how to take a hit. Not in the sense that he was tough, but he knew where he could and couldn't afford to get stabbed and he knew how to position his body in the instance that he was going to get stabbed as to make the wound as non-life-threatening as possible.

When they pulled their weapons out, all this did was free the swordsman up for movement and let them sit comfortably in a confidence. Reeling their weapons back, Musou used their prep time to launch his attack. "Empty Hand!" He wasn't much of a hand to hand fighter, but he knew how to defend himself with no swords. Against those who had no martial arts training it was child's play, there were even some amateurs Musou could get the upper-hand on unarmed off of battle experience refined instinct alone.

As he shouted, he released a quick and sturdy palm strike to the chin of the goon who wielded Ta`ampa. This put him in a temporary daze and made him stumble back a few paces while he shook off the moment of disorientation. In this moment the other goon had finished his preparations and began to unleash his horizontal swing at Musou. Ducking low, he avoided the slash though a fair length of his hair got a clean chop. The Ensign paid this no mind and from his crouched position he exploded upwards with his legs towards the man wielding O-Ren Ishii. Extending his arm with both his index and middle fingers out like a peace sign, he stabbed his fingers in the man's eyes. He could feel both of the jewels rupture around his fingers and warm matter ooze over digits like eggs benedict.

In horror the man screamed out and like Musou predicted he immediately dropped the weapon and clutched at his face. "Gari!" The leader of the two Jr.s called out and Musou looked over at him to see a pistol being aimed at him. "Heh." Musou scoffed at this. It was true he was better than your average, but truthfully, he wasn't much against a gun.

obbed of vision for the rest of his life, the thug yelled curses and shouted as loud as he could while stumbling about. The leader of the two monkeys pointed his gun at Musou with rage in his eyes and the other who still had Ta`ampa slowly regained his senses. When he did he shared the rage of his big homie and threw Ta`ampa's sheath onto the ground. Clutching the weapon in both his hands, he was about to go all out on Musou, but his Sr reigned him in. "Rari!" The sword goon stopped and looked at his boos who was about to explain that he was no match for Musou and he'd finish him off with his gun or something like that. In the moment they locked eyes to convey this message, Musou made his move to O-Ren Ishii. Dive rolling along the ground to end up behind a dumpster with one of his blades, Musou would have finally regained the clear advantage. Or so it'd seem. "Fuck!" As Musou would dive roll, the leader would fire on him and the most he'd get out of it was a few bullets grazing the Ensign.

With his back against the wall and a suitable form of cover form gunfire, Musou took a moment to cherish the fact he had got one of his most prized possessions back. It was now time to wrap this up. "Don't worry, we still have this trump card Bari." The woman still laid on the ground apparently subconscious. "I know you idiot, I'm just torn about Gari. Pick her up." Musou listened as the ruffians took their hostage back, but he wouldn't let the same flame burn him twice. From behind the dumpster he'd speak without showing himself. "You can kill her if you want. I'm not putting my life in danger for a weakling. That's my justice . . . "

There was a moment of silence until the leader could be heard laughing out loud. "I don't know what justice has to do about this, but get out here before this bitch gets killed. I'm calling your bluff." Musou understood the response, but it was wrong to think it was a bluff. Musou had always believed the world was survival of the fittest and up until now he thought justice and being a Marine was about being a hero and helping the weak. He hadn't been a Marine for long, so fortunately much time hadn't been wasted. What made him feel he could declare this as a just way of acting was the fact that there were many types of marines. Some were more atrocious than pirates, some were more for the people, and some were strictly dogs of the Government. Justice had many colors and Musou was on this island to figure out the color of his.

Musou came from behind the dumpster with O-Ren Ishii in his right hand and stood in the center of the alleyway facing Rari, Bari, and their hostage. "I mean it."

ari wasn't convinced, but his Jr, Rari seemed to be leaning towards believing Musou. "Boss . . . I think he's serious." Bari raised and eyebrow at Rari and hummed in disbelief. "You gotta be shitting me if you think this guy is serious. You think he went through the trouble of saving her just to let her die?" His pistol stayed kissing the woman's temple this whole time. Gari's screaming had died down and he laid on the ground unconscious.

"I don't know. I just felt something from h-" "Hey!" Rari's talking was cut off by Bari's shouting when Musou had lifted O-Ren Ishii to the point that she was parallel with the ground and pointing at Bari. "Don't move or I'll kill her man!" Musou's free hand had been applying pressure to his stab wound this whole time. "I already told you it won't bother me one way or another. I did what I could to save her, but can't go any further for her." Bari was obviously irritated with Musou because his bargaining chip seemed to have no value. "Then why don't you kill her yourself?" Bari grinned as he took the gun away from the girl's temple and pointed it at Musou. The situation was now forced to reach its climax. Rari's interest curiosity was roused and he looked at Musou for his response. He seemed to gradually become less of a thug and more of a bystander who was interested in the strength of Musou's spirit.

In response to this Musou mirrored Bari's grin and flexed his sword wielding arm. A manifestation of his will took the shape of a spear of flames. It sped through the air at faster than Bari could hope to react and it piercing the man right through his skull. His body shuddered for a while as his brain being cooked maybe made his nervous system go crazy, but then he fell limp to the ground and the spear of flames was dispelled as if it were never there to begin with. Rari's mouth was stuck agape as he watched his leader get killed in an instant. With both members of his camp dead or wishing they were, his legs buckled and his grip on Ta`ampa was lost.

ith a sigh of relief, Musou retrieved O-Ren Ishii's sheath and put the weapon away. Then he grabbed Ta`ampa's discarded sheath and then Ta`ampa from right in front of the broken spirited Rari. "Doesn't seem like you'll put up fight anymore." Rari's mouth was closed, but he was still stuck in a state of disbelief. Musou thought about killing him too, but it'd serve no real purpose at this point. "Make sure that girl gets to wherever she wants to go safely then. For now just get her somewhere that's not here." Rari looked at the unconscious girl then at Musou to see his red eyes were staring right into his. It chilled him to his core even though he knew the man wasn't going to kill him. "Y-yes sir."

Rari got up to his feet and gathered the girl up to carry her. Musou began to walk back towards the rampaging that was still foolishly going on. Rari turned around to look one last time at Musou, but he was shocked to see that he was heading to the chaos. "You're going to fight with those wounds?" Musou looked over his shoulder at Rari and nodded to him. "I've been through worse." Sometimes Musou found himself tired of the violence and killing. Being a Ronin for so many years does that. But right now his hunger for battle had just been awoken with an appetizer and now it needed to be sated with something more.

Maybe he was taking his wounds too lightly and they'd end up contributing to his downfall, but he saw them as devices that'd make him stronger. He'd come to learn that the more he struggled the more he grew, so he consciously set out back towards the gang violence with intentions to struggle and grow. Hopefully he just doesn't die in the process.

ust as he stepped onto the main road an explosion a few meters away went off and showered him with small pebbles and clouded his vision with smoke. "Fuck you Tanaka Clan bastards!" Musou had covered his face with the sleeve of his kimono as to not inhale the dust, get any in his eyes, and to protect his face. All the while footsteps could be heard rushing closer towards him from the other side of the explosion and soon enough the sound of a man getting beat to death could be heard from various thuds.

As Musou saw it, it didn't matter who he attacked at this point as long as they weren't Marines. With how gangs worked, men didn't wander alone so he'd pit his focus on groups and assume stragglers were fleeing citizens or people he had no business in dealing with. Swiping his arm outwards, the fat sleeve of his kimono worked to fan away a bit of the dust in the air in front of him. At least enough that he could make out four men beating one man on the ground with pipes and a bat. Ta`ampa was already drawn, so he wasted no time in rushing the small mob and making quick work of them with four precise slashes. Only after the first of them was cut down did they take note of Musou's presence and by then it was too late. "Than- *cough* Thank you." The man who was being beaten to death looked up at Musou, his body was in a horrible condition. Pulling up Ta`ampa perpendicular to the ground so its point was looming over the man's chest, his eyed widened right before the sword plunged through his heart. "Don't thank me."

"Hey, there's a guy over here!" About six gangsters ran up on Musou, these ones had some pipes and two of them had katanas, one just had a length of chain wrapped around his fist. "He doesn't look like he's affiliated with any gang though." Musou pulled his sword out the corpse as they conversed amongst each other then swung at them, but there was a clean 4m of space between the two parties. Despite this the slash drew their attention and put them on their guard. "Who gives a fu-" Before the man could finish an arc of white light following the pathway of his sword slash revealed itself a full second after the initial swing. It didn't cause any lethal damage, but it cut into the bridge of the nose of the goon who was talking. The others looked at his nose in wonder as it dripped blood and by the time they looked back up to address it, Musou was already darting towards them, this time with both his blades drawn.

"Shit, this guy's serious!" Before coming within immediate blade range, Musou slashed a multitude of times through the air and this time there was no lag with the birthing of the flying slashes. Each followed the pathway of the swords that were creating them and slash trimmed down the numbers of his foes. By the time he entered direct range, all six thugs were cut down. Musou's chest expanded and deflated naturally with each fatigued breath he took. "Sailing on the seas as a Marine has gotten me out of shape." He sheathed both his katanas then wiped sweat from his forehead with his kimono sleeve. Then there was a bang.

bullet whizzed by his head by a few inches, the zipping of it could be heard as it did so. Instinctively he ducked down and began to run for cover. "I don't know which gang you belong to, but you seem strong!" As Musou continued to run, the bullets kept coming and one eventually got him right in his left calf. He grunted in pain and used the last bit of standing time he had before stumbling to the ground to make a jump of desperation off his right leg through a store front window.

Glass was everywhere and he got a few knicks here and there, but for the most part since he rolled instead of landing flat, the glass shards got caught and spun off the excess fabric of his kimono. "Damn I hate guns." He crawled along the floor to get behind a cupboard in what turned out to be a furniture store. "Lively little rodent too. Definitely shouldn't be mixed in with these goons and thugs." The voice could be heard speaking from right outside the broken window into the store Musou was hiding in. He was foolishly caught with his guard down and no swords drawn, so pulling one out now would give away his position. He had his back against the cupboard and was trying his breath to suppress his breathing though he was out of breath. "If you're just going to hide, I'll just open fire and turn this whole place into swiss cheese." The sound of revolver barrels spinning could be heard. "One . . . two . . ." "Three!" Musou pulled out O-Ren Ishii, the shorter of his two weapons and it grabbed the gunman's attention. "Bingo!" As the gunman fired on Musou, the samurai stabbed his sword backwards into the body of the cupboard and incinerated it as his spear of flames manifested once more. Musou aimed his spear based off of where the gunman's voice was coming from. Since the hail of bullets had stopped, it was assumed it was accurately aimed and now one of two things had happened. The gun man was ran through, by the spear or he evaded it and the bullets were only stopped from coming temporarily.

For his own safety, Musou assumed the aforementioned and rolled along the floor to behind a couch. He had spotted a back door in the furniture store earlier and that's where he was making his way to. "Slippery as hell to. That was quite the play." As Musou had assumed, the gunman was in good health and had avoided his spear. His eyes must be sharp, but it made sense given his weapon of choice.

"Hey, there's a guy over here!" This wasn't the voice of the gunman, no this voice came from beyond him and behind him. Musou hated to admit it, but he was relieved that some weaklings had come to take the heat off of him for a moment. "Hmmm?" The gunslinger hummed curiously as he turned his attention to the mob that had approached him. "W-wait . . . That guy's a three star bounty hunter . . . I can't remember his name." Musou began to make his move to the door, but a bullet that could be taken as a warning shot whizzed over his head and stopped him in his tracks. The gunman's body was obscured from view by the couch he had shot through, but the bounty hunter wasn't looking anyhow. "You stay right there while I talk to these scrubs."

A
single moment of silence swept the scene until the gunslinger spoke to the mob of goons that came his way. As far as he was concerned they posed no threat to him, they were just interrupting him hunting his prey. "So how can I help you mongrels?" They were hesitant to speak. Whether he was who they thought he was or not, this guy had an undeniable presence about him. Musou hadn't even caught a glimpse of the guy, but he knew the man behind the voice was no-one to play with. "Eh? Hello, can you speak?" It was evident that he was impatient and had something else he'd rather be doing.

"I don't think it's a good idea to get tied up with this guy . . ." The goons nodded amongst themselves and then one spoke on all their behalves. "We'll actually just keep it pushing . . . sorry to bother you." They gave a wave then went off on their way to raise more hell. "Heh . . . odd bunch. Now back to you though."

The gunmen would turned his focus back on Musou who was right where he had been left. He began to walk over to Musou calmly. Leaping over the low ledge of the broken window, his boots kept his feet protected from all the glass. He then nonchalantly made his way up directly to Musou and put his pistol to his head. "You know you've got a whooping a pretty fat bounty on your head right?" Musou was frozen still, but he'd still speak for himself. "A bounty? Placed by who?" The gunman chuckled. "The Marines of course . . . who else?" Musou raised a brow. There was a possibility that wanted posters of him still were in circulation with him having been wanted for the assassination of a daimyo and all. How could he explain his new situation to this man in a way it'd sound even remotely close being true though? It didn't take him long to come to the conclusion that he couldn't. ". . ." "Nothing to say to that huh?" Musou shook his head side to side, not so much at his captor, but at the situation. "Haha, I like the ones that come easy. Go on and drop those swords for me." Musou respectfully complied and the bounty hunter slapped some cuffs on his wrist. Musou looked ahead to the future and knew nothing much would result from this as long as he did as the bounty hunter said. They were Beli-minded beings, so turning in their target alive was something they all tried to do. As long as Musou listened, he'd be handed over to the Marines and freed, it was irritating having to go through this whole process though.

Since Musou was cooperating, the gunman even sheathed his weapons for him before he began escorting him to the prison. "Seems like the fighting has died down. Damn idiots get all riled up over the smallest of things at least once a week." Musou shared the gunman's feelings about the idiocy of Baltigo, but it kept people like them with jobs. "Can't ask for much more . . ." It was an odd ending to his night, but all would be well once he got to the prison and hopefully there could be a notice about his bounty being null issued out to prevent this from happening in the future.
