Immoral Affluence

Mone walked through Dollyland, observing the groups of kids running around with no parents, protected only by the dolls that were assigned to them when they entered the park. Though he'd never admit it, Mone thought that the idea of the dolls being used as the protectors for the children on the island was brilliant. Freeing up the adults to spend as much money as possible elsewhere without being held back by having to worry about the kids. It must be nice for parents to have that sort of reassurance. As much as he didn't want it to, Mone's mind drifted to his own parents, back in Dressrosa. It had been years since he'd seen them,and he'd never received any sort of response to the large amounts of beli he'd been sending back to them every month. He hoped they were well, especially since it would really suck for him to send them all of that beli and have them be unable to make use of it properly.

"Well, I guess it doesn't matter too much." He said with a shrug as he got closer and closer to the point in Dollyland where he was supposed to meet up with the man that'd be giving him his job. "My beli has to be going somewhere so all I can do is hope that my parents are getting it and are too busy living it up lavish style to send me any messages." Mone could really only hope for that fate for them, that even the most racist people in all of Dressrosa would be forced to respect the Nero family due to the large sums of cash they received from their son. They deserved better than a life of hiding their race, the three eyed people couldn't be that bad, Mone was one afterall.

Before long though, Mone would arrive at the point where the letter he now had in his pocket said to meet at. Underneath a large oak tree just at the edge of Dollyland, where the large metal fence that surrounded the entire park met with the outer area of the island, a small bit of land that was still covered with trees and hadn't been filled with more rides for the children. Here Mone would sit, waiting for his "employer" to arrive to give more details on the mission.
