Yuurei’s earlier travel through the Greenie Pass had led him to a small town. This place wasn’t the area he was looking for. Still, he was able to do something for the people in that town and made some money. He was able to get some food for the road and continue his journey through here. He knew that it wouldn’t be that easy to find what he was looking for, and he had gone through many towns after and different areas to get where he was now. The thief was heading into the nearby woods as the sun was out and shining down on the entire island. It was an amazing day, the animals were awake and moving around the land. Still, his mind was focused and there was a place that he needed to find.

When he entered the woods, things got dark really quick, and it was to be expected. There were trees everywhere, and there was hardly any sunlight that came through. He wasn’t scared though, and using his Observation Haki was good in a situation like this. The last town told me that I could find him in a town in the woods. When helping people they sure give out a lot of information. He thought to himself as he continued walking. He felt the presence of animals moving around him, and not towards him. His Willpower was strong enough that they knew he was not someone to mess around with. He scanned through the area as he walked to see if there were any signs of this town. He was a bit skeptical at first, but then he figured that anything was possible in this world.

He continued to walk through the forest as he could see how dark it was. He could only imagine how it was when it was night time. He looked around to see if there was anything weird around here. He wasn’t sure if this town was something someone wanted people to find, or if there were traps that would be triggered if he got too close. The thief continued his walk, and then when he pressed his foot onto this part of the ground it was different than before. He looked down at the ground had caved in, but he did not fall. He used his gravity abilities to keep himself floating in the air. He moved towards the other side of the hole and landed on the ground safely. [i]I figured something like this would happen.”[/] He thought to himself as he was about to continue his walking.

He felt the presence of someone coming into his haki parameter, which he smiled about. He looked in that direction they were coming from. Yuurei knew now they had something that would signal them when that trap was activated. He turned in the direction the person was coming from and figured he would go say hello to them. He kicked off the ground, and jumped up into the air, and landed one of the branches without a problem. After he did that he jumped off a branch and onto another one as he was heading to this person.

Yuurei was moving quickly along the trees, and he would soon meet up with the man who rushing to the trap he almost fell into. The swordsman was above him, and he figured he would surprise him with his appearance. Yuurei let himself fall down backward from the branch and did a flip as he had landed on the ground, and in front of the man. The guy stopped running when he saw someone appear in front of him, and was a bit surprised about this. He had jumped back from this and got into a fighting position.

”Who are you? How did you get past the traps?” He said to Yuurei.
”I was the one who almost fell in the trap that you set up. I also figured you guys didn’t have any traps set above ground, so I decided traverse that way to see you.” He said to the guy.

”Why are you in these woods? I don’t need anybody roaming around here because they think they can?” He said as he was getting ready to fight Yuurei.

”Me? I was in these woods because I was given information that I could find someone here. They told me that there should be a town in the forest. I find that surprising, but I believed it to be true.” He said this to the man.

When he heard this he rushed towards Yuurei and tried to attack him. The thief had dodged his attack, and then flicked him on his forehead. This was enough to send the man back and onto the floor. He had felt the strength behind that, and he rubbed his forehead as he looked at Yuurei. The swordsman started walking towards the man and when he was close enough crouched down to look at the man.

”I guess you know where this town is. I was hoping if you can take me there. I have no problems with you or the town. There is just someone there that I want to see. That person can lead me into an underground society that I want to join. So how about it? I can get your help, or find it on my own.” He said to him wondering what he would do now.

The man on the floor knew that this guy was strong, and when he heard what he had to say he figured he might as well take this man to the town. It felt as if he would find it regardless if he took him or not.

”Fine I will take you to the town, but please just don’t do anything stupid.” He said to Yuurei.

When he heard those words he stood up straight and stretched his arm out to help the guy up from the floor. The man grabbed Yuurei’s hand and was pulled up to his feet.

”Thank you. It is this way.” He said as he started walking in the direction he had come from.

Yuurei followed behind him as he wondered how this place looked like.

While they were walking Yuurei figured he would ask this man a few questions.

”What’s your name, and why did you come out here to see who triggered the trap? Why are there even traps to begin with?” He asked him.

The man looked at him for a second, and then turned his head to look forward and continued moving forward.

”I’m one of the town’s protectors. We set up traps everywhere around the town because we don’t want bandits to try and start trouble here. Still, they aren’t the only thing that triggered traps, so we protectors have to go out and see what has been trapped.” He paused for a second to take in the air.

”Sometimes it just animals, while other time its innocent people who have been trapped and wanted to come to visit the town like you. I was coming to help or kill whoever was trapped, but it seems like you aren’t trapped at all. As for my name you can call me Ryan for now. You’re strong what business do you have in this town?” He asked.

Yuurei rubbed his head as he felt like he answered this question already.

”I see I would tell you my name, but its best you don’t know it. As for my business in this town, we are heading I thought I told you. There is someone I need to meet who is said to be there. I have been walking through Greenie Pass for a while, and my information says he should be here.” He said to him.

”Still, Ryan that is good to know that there is one town around here who have found a way to protect themselves from the numerous bandits that are around. I myself had to eradicate a few groups of them for the towns I visited.” He said to him.

Ryan heard this and nodded because he figured this guy was a bad man after all. They continued moving through the woods and Yuurei followed behind Ryan because he was sure that the man knew where all the traps were laid out.

”How many protectors does this town have?” He asked curious to hear what he would say.

”There are six of us that are constantly watching the traps at a time, but there are a total of twenty-four of us.” He said to Yuurei.

They had a good structure, which was good, and he could think about how these six protectors were scattered around the corner of the town. The number twenty-four allowed him to realized that each of them would spend their time as a protector six hours of the day. While he was thinking about this he didn’t realize that they had made it into town. There were a lot of people talking, which was how he snapped back into reality. He could feel the presence of the people in this town and smiled because it was lively. Yuurei had made it into town, but now he was going to have found the person he was looking for.

Yuurei was about to start moving forward but stopped him as he looked at Ryan.

”Thank you for bringing me here.” He said to him as he started walking off.

The houses that were around the area were surrounding the trees. There were also steps that were made that led to other houses that were built above ground and around the branches of the trees. It was unique in its own way, and he honestly didn’t think he would see something like this. He wasn’t sure where this dealer was located, but he knew that he had to be at some tavern. He wouldn’t be selling his stuff out in the open, and he would want to take his business somewhere where people wouldn’t really remember him.

While he admired everything around him and could see that the people in this town had no fear of something bad happening, he had become focused as he was looking for the tavern. There were people who had noticed him stared him as they were trying to figure out who he was. They figured he wasn’t bad if the protectors didn’t stop him from coming in. Yuurei continued to look through the town and after thirty minutes of walking around he would find the only tavern that was in town. It was huge, and he could see that it was a popular one. It wasn’t just that, but there was also the fact that it was in the back of the town. It was the reason he took quite some time to find it.

Hopefully I can find the person I’m looking for here. If not then I will have to gather information on where he could have gone. He thought to himself. He started walking to the tavern and opened it up just to be met with the same eyes he knew would look at him for entering a tavern. He just nodded as he walked over to the bar directly and took a seat on a high chair. He got comfortable and then looked at his options, and his drink was sold here. The bartender would come to him, and Yuurei would smile at him.

”Can I get a mug of that please.” He pointed at his drink.

The bartender nodded as he went off to get the man his drink. Yuurei, on the other hand, started looking around the tavern to see what everybody was doing. He could see that there were people conversing with each other, but at this moment he couldn’t see anybody who looked like they were trying to sell something. The bartender came back with Yuurei’s drink and he smiled at him as he grabbed his mug.

”Where are you from? I don’t see many new people walk into this tavern. I think you are the second one this week, which is rare.” He said to Yuurei.

When the thief heard those numbers he had a smirk on his face. If he wanted to know where this man was, he would have to play nice with the bartender.

He took a sip of the mug to see how it tasted and was amazed by it. This was a great beer, and he placed his mug down to answer the bartender’s questions.

”I’m not from this island if that was what you were wondering, but the island I’m from is Swordsman Island. The island isn’t really known to the world, which I find good.” He said to the bartender with a smile on his face.

Yuurei took his mug and chugged a bit of it before exhaling with relief and enjoyment of the drink. He looked at the bartender as he had a question of his own.

”Oh, so it’s rare for you townsfolks to have visitors? That is interesting to hear. You said there have been two visitors this week, is the other person still in town?” He asked curiously to see what he would say.

Yuurei would take his mug and drink more out of it and wondered what the man would say. The bartender heard his words and thought about it for a second. He asked him a question concerning the other person, and it bothered him that he would ask about this visitor. It made him think that the Yuurei was looking for this man and it might cause trouble to the town.

”I don’t want any problems in this town, so I don’t think I can give you this information.” He said to Yuurei.

The thief heard his words and nodded with what he said.

”I understand, but if I wanted to cause problems for this town I would have done it already. I just wanted to talk to the person and see if they can do me a favor. Still, if you don’t want to help me I will find the person eventually.” He said to the bartender.

He drank more of his beer and looked around to see a woman get up from the table, and walked over to another table. He found that interesting and wondered what she was doing. She was a pretty woman with blonde long hair small petite body, and curves all in the right places. He turned to look back at the bartender with a look of interest on his face.

”How long have you been working here?” He asked the bartender trying to make conversation.

”I been working here for about ten years, so I’m usually the person people come to me if they want to know about things.” He said to Yuurei.

”That’s interesting, but it sucks that you wouldn’t provide me with any information that I needed. Which is okay because I will get the information with or without you.” He said as he looked around again and noticed that same woman getting up again and moving to another table. He definitely took interest in her now.

Yuurei had his beer in his hand and was no longer looking at the bartender. Instead, he was looking at the girl at the table and watched how she moved. The bartender noticed who he was looking at, and looked nervous for a second. The thief wouldn’t know this, nor did he care to see his reaction. He noticed that she was moving a lot while she was sitting down and opened up the jacket she was wearing. It wouldn’t take long for her to pull something out and she showed it to the man, and soon enough she would pass it to him. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he watched her get up from the seat and moved towards another table. Bingo I think I found me the second visitor. I understand why he didn’t want to give me the information I was looking for. Still, I don’t know why I thought she would be a man. He thought to himself.

He continued to keep an eye on her while he turned to look at the bartender. He had a smile on his face, and his Observation had been activated. He drank the rest of his beer and placed it down on the counter, pushing it forward to the bartender.

”Can I get another one please.” He said with a smile that shown he got the answer he was looking for.

The bartender did look nervous indeed, and Yuurei could see it now. He had grabbed the young man’s mug and refilled it with more beer that he gave him before. When he brought it back to Yuurei, the thief grabbed it and lifted it up in the air and then placed it down on the counter.

”You look like you saw a ghost, or is because you know that I know who the second visitor is?” His grin could be seen.

The bartender wanted to act like he didn’t know what Yuurei was talking about, but he knew it wouldn’t work. He figured being in silence would be for the best, but he was wrong. Yuurei could see that he was right on the money. It was plain as day that he was right, and he lost his tip for serving him.

”Yeah I figured I was right. I mean you have nothing to worry about. I wasn’t planning on doing anything crazy in this town. I just honestly wanted to talk to her.” He said as he was telling the truth.

Yuurei would chug down more of his beer and when he placed it down he noticed that there was a presence approaching him. He was surprised with who it was even though he wasn’t looking at them their presence told him everything he needed to know. That person would sit down and look at the bartender, and he would walk away from the two of them. Yuurei looked at the woman that was next to him and nodded with a smile on his face as this was unexpected.

”So…” He was caught off by the woman.

Her right index fingered had touched his lips, which caused him to close his mouth. He looked at her wondering what she would do, and he was expecting her to do some type of attack. Instead, she slowly moved her finger down from his lip and onto her side. She smiled at him at first and then chuckled because she found that interesting all the time.

”I see you were looking at me this whole entire time I was moving around. I guess you are interested in what I have to buy? These things are hard to come around, actually, you wouldn’t be able to find anything I’m selling anywhere else. But to see them you got to show me money.” She said to Yuurei.

She had it all wrong. He didn’t want to buy any of her stuff, he was looking for something else. Now that he got her attention and she had come to him, he didn’t have to go through the trouble of following her and looking like a stalker

”Oh no I don’t want to buy anything, but I do want to talk to you about something. It is related to your work, and trust me it isn’t anything bad. I have just been looking for you for quite some time.” He said to her waiting to see what she would say.

The woman looked at him and was confused yet surprised that he had been looking for her for some time. He wondered why and how he knew that she was even on this island, but that was the question she would ask another time. She sighed and looking at him she could tell he was a strong person. She had been around a lot of those and could tell from eyeing him down that he was a force to be reckoned with. If he was looking for her, she might as well listen to what he had to say.

”Fine speak to me.” She said with a smile on her face.

Yuurei was glad that she would hear him out, and he was excited that he didn’t where to begin. He gathered himself as he was ready to talk now.

”I want to get into the black market. I want to meet with a Broker, and see if they can bring me in. I want to offer my service across the world, and have me and my group do jobs for those who want it. I am a thief, so if the people in Underworld need something to be stolen, I can be their guy to deliver my service. I heard you’re a middleman who goes selling things for a Broker. Of course, I also heard you were the type of person who would never give up your Broker’s name. This is why I ask you if you can take me with you and allow me to meet them.” He said as he whispered this to her.

He wanted this to be kept between the two, and when she heard his words she started to think about everything he said.

She was surprised that someone would approach her of all people for this opportunity. She looked at Yuurei and examined him and knew he wasn’t a marine, but there must be something else to him. She wasn’t sure, and she couldn’t put her finger on it right now.

”You want to meet a Broker. That is interesting to hear. They are hidden throughout the Underworld. How are you sure I even know one? You say you want to offer your services, but how do I even know how good you are at your craft? Then you say you are a thief, which means you might be lying to me and trying to steal from me. How can I trust you? How do you know that information about me?” She didn’t answer him, or agreed with him, but had questions for him.

Yuurei expected this would happen, and he was ready for this. He just didn’t expect that she would ask this many questions. He took his mug and started drinking more of his beer this time before putting it down on the counter.

”I know you know one because the merchandise you were selling around here weren’t made by you. That means you must have gotten from them to sell it in the black market. It’s not that I got information about you from the marines. It is the only reason I knew you were on this island. They wanted me to investigate you, but instead, I’m turning things around to benefit me. I want to be a part of Underworld completely. I have always done what I needed to do to survive. If I weren’t going to steal from you I wouldn’t even tell you I was a thief in the first place. I just need to prove myself to them, could you at least give me that much?” He said to her.

She was surprised that they had information about her, but he was surprised that she was a female, so their information wasn’t all there.

”I see; the marines were going off on rumors. When you saw me you were surprised that I was a female. Hell, you looked like you were trying to find me through this crowd since you got here. I could only assume you didn’t know I was or how I looked like.” She paused for a bit.

”If you really want to prove something to me, then I do have a job for you. It might cost you your life if you aren’t as good as you say you are. Just let me know if you are up for the offer.” She said to Yuurei wondering to see if he was bluffing or not.

Yuurei took in what she said to him, and he already knew his answer.

He had a smile on his face though because he was going to do what he found fun to do. He stretched his arms out into the air for a bit to put them right back to his side.

”I will gladly accept your job offer. I am good at my craft, and if I have to prove that to you I will gladly do that.” He said to her.

She was surprised at how quick he was able to answer her. It looked like he was confident in his abilities. She figured he would agree to this because of the strength that was emanating from him. Still, this would be good for her and her boss with what she wanted him to steal.

”There is a man in this town. He lives in the biggest house there is in this place, and he has been hiding here for as long as he has arrived in Lulusia Kingdom. He has something that is very valuable to me and I would like for you to steal it. The item at hand is a golden locket that is always around your target’s neck. Do you still accept the offer?” She asked him curious to what he would say.

Yuurei had a smile on his face because the item in question was something around the man’s neck. That was going to be hard, yet fun at the same time.

”I accept your offer. I will retrieve the golden locket.” He said to her with a smile on his face.

She nodded understanding that this man was crazy and way beyond reasoning.

”His home is guarded by a bunch of armed men. I’m not sure how many of them are there, but they don’t hesitate to shoot. The man’s name is Manny, and he is also not a man to play around with him. He’s a strong person himself, so do not allow his looks to be deceiving. If you get caught I cannot allow this to get back to me, so I will be watching you from a distance and kill you the first chance I get.” She said to Yuurei.

He was surprised at the last thing she said, but he understood this was business, and it was how they had to do things. He got up from his seat and looked at her one more time. He took his mug and finished the beer that was in it and placed it down on the table. He looked at the bartender for a second and then back at her.

”Can I get a direction to where he lives?” He asked her.

”When you leave from here and walk a few meters North you will see it. Good luck.” She said to him.

Yuurei nodded, and then looked at the bartender again.

”She is paying for my drinks.” He said as he walked away from her and towards the exit of the tavern.

She didn’t look surprised when he pulled that stunt but knew he was going to do that. She didn’t care though as she was glad to pay for it if he could get her the locket.

Yuurei had stepped out of the tavern now and when he looked around he remembered her words clearly. He had started walking North from the tavern, but as he got close to an alleyway he moved into it. He needed a place to head to where nobody would walk through; he had to switch clothes because this was something that couldn’t get back to him. He had to be smart about this, and when he got far enough into the alleyway, Yuurei took something out of his back, which was inside of his jacket. He would take out a cloak, and a mask as well. He would quickly put the cloak on and have the hood over his head. He removed the eyepatch and placed the mask over his face. When he was done with that he had a smirk on his face as he walked out of the alleyway, with his head down and started walking the path that his client had offered him.

It would take him about twenty minutes to make it to the location he was approaching. He didn’t rush to it because he wasn’t sure of what it had in store for him. Still, when he got close enough he could see all the crap that was to see from the outside. There were tons of men around a huge house. There was also a fence surrounding this house with two men guarding the front entrance. He was sure there were men at the back gate as well. It wasn’t just that, there were men inside the gates walking around as if that was something they were getting paid to do. Whoever Manny was, he was loaded, but at the same time, he seemed really important. I guess this won’t be easy, but I knew that. If I get the locket I will be one step closer to my goal. He thought to himself.

Now that he was a fair distance from where he needed to be, he decided it was time to use his Observation haki to survey what his eyes could not. He felt people everywhere within fifty meters, but his focused where towards the direction he was looking in. there were a bunch of men around this place, and in the front of the house, there were more. This was going to be tough, and he knew that they were going to be aware of him the moment he took the locket from Manny. There was a plan to use his Conqueror Haki, but he doubts that would work on someone like his target. He thought about many things but knew that he was going to have to go through a sneaky approach. Yuurei started moving towards the side of the gate where there were fewer men located.

When he got to that area, he moved in a little closer and stood in the shadow as he could feel the presence of the guards moving through his entry point. He had decided to be patient as he used his observation to see the guards move a certain route before another one showed up at his place. This was going to be hard, and he was thinking about how he would be able to make it through there without being seen.

Yuurei stood in the shadow for a few minutes. He was taking in the guard’s route, and how they moved. It stood the same no matter what, but there was a time that he was able to move through without being caught. He needed to be faster, and he needed to make them move slower, so they couldn’t turn in time to see him moving through the area. He sighed because he figured they would know something was up, but they would have to search for him. When the time came he had activated his Gravity Field and surrounded just himself. He was making himself faster than he normally was, and it was just that he had activated his second mode, which would bring anybody near him to become slower if they didn’t have the strength to ignore it. He rushed towards the gate as fast as he could and jumped into the air floating in the air when it happened.

When he got over the gates he had stopped himself from floating as he landed on the ground, and started running towards the house in front of him. The guards that were looking away from him could feel the pressure, yet they didn’t know where it was coming from, or what it was. They tried to turn around to see what it was, but they were moving far too slow. Yuurei was home free as he had made it to the window of the house. The presence of people in this house was many, but the window he was entering didn’t have anybody guarding it. He would open the window by force, and enter the window as quickly as he could. Once he was inside he had deactivated his mode alongside his gravity field. The men outside looked around and wondered what had happened.

They knew something was up, but they couldn’t really tell what it was. Still, the thing they could do was alert the guards around them.

”It could be nothing everyone, but there might be something weird happening around the estate. Please make sure to be on full alert, and make sure to report it to everyone as soon as possible.” He said on a mini den

The guards would hear their coworker through the radio and take his advice at its fullest. They started looking everywhere to make sure that there was nobody who could slip by them. Yuurei moved towards the wall, and he could feel the presence of all the guards that were in the house, and now his job was to find out where Manny would be located. He started moving in the opposite direction from where the majority of the guards were located. He kept a tab of their movements so that he could memorize their pattern. He moved through the house slowly as he was doing his best to be sneaky and not be seen by anybody in here. He slowed down his breathing so that his heart didn’t race, and he didn’t become nervous.

The house he was in was beautiful and large. The decoration around the walls was someone with high taste. He could tell that this man had a lot of money, but how would he be able to get that. He knew that his main objective was the locket around his neck, but the thoughts of money hidden away in this house urged him to be selfish. He moved through the house without being identified, and while he moved he noticed that there was one person who didn’t move like the rest. This person had stood around the same place the majority of the time. There were times when that presence moved, but it came back into the same area and stood there. He was sure from those movements that it had to be Manny. Should I go find Manny’s hidden treasure, or should I just stick to my job? He thought to himself.

He kept moving but came to a stop when he felt the presence of the guards moving in his direction. He looked around and did his best not to panic. Still, his mind ran through a bunch of scenarios and there was one that he figured he would do. He moved towards a door nearby and tried to open it, but it wouldn’t open. The man locked it. He thought to himself as he wasn’t going to just let that stop him. He pulled out the safety pins that were on his sash and started playing around with the keyhole by the doorknob. The presence was getting closer now, but Yuurei continued on. It wouldn’t take long to unlock the room, and he quickly entered the room, and slowly closed the door behind him. He sighed with relief because the presence had finally turned the corner.

He locked the door so that it stood the way it was and he looked around the room that he was in. He put his pins away and waited for the guard to leave the parameter. The room he was in looked like a library or a place of study. Yuurei started looking around and noticed the number of books that were in this room. He looked around as he moved carefully trying not to make any noises. He would soon find an interesting book in the area. He opened this book to see what was inside, and from what he read it was about different poisons. The number of different poisons he had seen in this book was amazing, but it wasn’t just what the poison could do, but how to create them. Yuurei knew he wouldn’t be able to make them himself, but he could find someone to make the poison. He spent his time in this room for quite some time as he was waiting for the guard to leave the parameter.

If I can add poison to my arsenal, then that would make things even scarier at my end. Still, no time to think about that, I need to get this golden locket. The guard finally left, so I should be in the clear. As for Manny, he should be in the middle of the house, which shouldn’t be hard to get to I think. He thought to himself as he walked over to the door. He exhaled the excess air as he was getting ready to continue onward.

Yuurei exit the room now as he was clear from alerting the guard. He took the book that he found at the library, and placed it into his cloak and in his bag. The thief started moving through the area by making a left in the hallway. He knew where Manny was located, so his only problem was navigating through this house without getting caught. He was doing that just fine as he was walking through the hallways without being detected. He did make sure to see if there were any cameras, which there weren’t. With the use of his ability of Haki, and him being a thief, Yuurei was able to make it to his destination without a problem. It took time though because he had to take a few detours due to the guards.

When he got to the door, he could only relax and gain his composure. He didn’t have much time because there was a guard that would show up in a few seconds. There was nothing he could do to get the golden locket from Manny without him noticing. That was why he didn’t want to alert anybody until after he got the locket. Here goes nothing.” He thought to himself as he started opening the door. His head was down as the doors open, and then he turned to close the door as soon as he got in. Manny was relaxing on the couch watching something, but then he noticed that someone had entered his room. He noticed that what was probably his guard was wearing a cloak, and that was odd.

”Why are you wearing that? You do know that I like everyone dressed the same, and with no hats. It’s how I can tell who is who without someone trying to sneak up on me.” He said as he stopped what he was doing and got up from his seat.

Yuurei turned to face Manny, and the man was surprised that he saw a mask on this person. He knew right then and there that this man was not one of his armed guards. They both stared at each other, and Yuurei could see it right now what was on his neck. He kept his mouth quiet though as he kept moving his head.

”I see so you aren’t going to talk. I hope you know I keep the guards around, so I don’t have to deal with anything, but I can take care of myself!” He said to Yuurei.

The thief was sure he could do that, but he wasn’t worried about that. He wasn’t planning on fighting, but to take what he wanted. Yuurei had exhaled and soon enough he reactivated his second mode once again. It wasn’t the only thing he did, the gravity field he used before would go up on him again. He was making himself faster while at the same time he was making Manny and any of the guards around him slower. They were coming to the room because they heard Manny speak louder than usual but were moving really slow.

Yuurei got into a stance and soon enough he rushed towards Manny without hesitation.

Manny got into position to defend himself as he wasn’t sure what was going on. He figured that whoever was coming at his was after his life. He did notice that his movements had gotten slower, but he didn’t know the reason why. Yuurei, on the other hand, had closed the gap between them easily. Manny was able to see his movements coming and it was due to his perception, but his speed wouldn’t allow him to react quick enough. His arms were moving, but Yuurei was already reaching for Manny’s neck. His eyes widen because he didn’t know he was going to die because of a man in a mask. The thief would stop reaching as he pulled his arm back and yanking off the golden locket that was on his neck. At first, Manny was confused about what was going on, but he noticed that this man wasn’t going for his life, but the golden locket that was on his neck.

The swordsman jumped away from Manny as he was looking at the golden locket that was in his hand now. He wondered why his client wanted this so badly, but knew she would be pleased to see what he had gotten. Manny grabbed his neck as he looked angry that someone took that from him. He didn’t think anybody on this island knew about the golden locket, so he wasn’t worried about it.

”How could I be so naïve. I need you to give that back right now! Guard!” He shouted out loud.

The guard would have finally made it to the room now, but by then it would be too late. Manny rushed towards Yuurei as he was trying to get his locket back. The thief saw this and easily dodged the man’s attempt to lunge at him. He had positioned himself to be next to the window now as he could see the guards opening the door, and aiming their guns at Yuurei. He had smiled under the mask before looking at the window.

”I guess it’s time for me to be on my way.” He mumbled to himself.

”FIRE!” He shouted out loud.

They pulled the triggers without hesitation as the bullets that had been shot towards Yuurei would be moving slower than normal, but towards their target. The thief had gotten what he needed and lunged himself towards the window. He would break the glass when doing this as he was falling down to the lower level of the house. He would stop himself from falling as he floated to the ground when he got close to it. Yuurei landed without a problem and looked around to feel the amount of presence moving his way.

Yuurei had alerted the rest of the guards with his action, but it wasn’t just that. The other guards had called for backup and explained the situation. Yuurei knew where he was heading, and now it was a game of chase the thief.

”Well this should be fun for me. I think everyone else is going to hate this.” He said to himself as he was getting ready to make a run for it.

Yuurei looked above him and behind to see the men that shot at him upstairs were at the window. They weren’t the only ones at the window as he could see Manny jumping out of the window a few seconds after him. They had aimed their guns at Yuurei and started shooting at him, but made sure their bullets didn’t hit the man that was paying them. The thief had noticed this and lunged forward to avoid the bullets that were still quick even though he slowed them down with his gravity field. He had dodged them though and when he looked back he could see that Manny was behind him. This was to be expected especially after hearing him say that he was strong enough to take care of himself. He also noticed the sights of other guards finally showing up and shooting at him.

He jumped forward as he tumbled to avoid the bullets that were being shot at him. They would hit the ground next to him as he could see one of them going through his cloak. I feel like this man has so many people working for him. How much money does he even have? He thought to himself. He did notice all of this shooting had allowed Manny to inch closer to him. He got up from the ground and continued to run through the open field, but the firing continued on, and he would have to jump around and move side to side so that it was harder to predict his movements. It wouldn’t take long, but the firing stopped; he figured something was up, but then he noticed that Manny was right next to him, and the man threw a punch straight at Yuurei.

The thief was quick to block the attack as he was able to move his arms fast enough with the help of his observation. The attack was strong enough that it pushed Yuurei to his right, and he tumbled to the side. He smiled because that was unexpected, but there was also the factor that the men around him had started firing again. He pushed his body off of the ground when he sensed the danger coming from the bullets. They had hit the ground where he once stood, and he chuckled because there were a lot of bullets on the floor. He landed on his feet just to be met with Manny who had caught up to him with everything that was happening.

”Give it back!” He shouted.

Yuurei had blocked his attack, but this time he used armament to make the attack nonexistent. He thrust his leg straight at Manny’s chest and connected pushing the man away from him. The thief was surprised he was able to take that attack without actually becoming unconscious, but he didn’t have time for that. He turned around and continued his run towards the gates. There was something he wanted to use, but he knew that it would destroy the area around him, and they were surrounded by nature.
