Standing outside in the snow, back at her fathers empty grave. Not a body left to bury. The Yuki Yuki no mi user would stand as the snow wrapped protectively around her. She held her arms across her body, looking to the large grave. "I got beat dad. I'm gonna have to get stronger, I need to get my edge back" she said as she looked to the grave. "Those revs. That woman, the dream...it showed me that no matter what I need to not forget who I am or what I'm fighting for. That I don't care about the children of others. Not when it comes to protecting my family, old or new. If i attack, I can do on my own, they won't hurt these people. Not if I don't make it back alive" Melissa said smiling. "Or if they catch me"

She would smile as she placed her hand across the graveyard. "This bitch is back" Melissa would utter as she turned from the graveyard. The snow around her blasting forth in her wake. "Anyone who crosses me...will die" Melissa said as she walked back towards her town. Though as she was walking down, with the snow quelling around her, she would see two people. "OLIVIA" Melissa shouted. She knew that woman, her hair, her skin. Everything about her. Not in a sexual way of course, Olivia was one of Melissa's best friends. More like, her sister for sure. In her arms as they ran was another woman, a child. Blood covered Olivia's arms. "MELISSA, OH MELLY THANK GOD" she said as Melissa approached the duo. The childs screaming in her arms. "W...WHAT HAPPENED?" Melissa said, wrapping her arms around Olivia.

"I dunno, some guy. Some guy and his army came to town, he was angry, like so angry. Screaming that someone had done something to his mum. We tried to speak to him, but he just wasn't listening. Then mum came out, tried to speak to him. He opened up to her a bit, but then someone said he was scarier than that ghost guy and well. Everything went to shit, the army began beating people up...he...the guy...he stabbed mum.....I dunno...I dunno if she's alive. I had to run, to protect Miha, she was crying and the guy just demanded she'd be killed. It turns out, the guy is known as Asura and his mum was one of the Queens." Olivia said panting.

"Another Royalty of Drum. You'd think I'd killed enough of em off" Melissa said sighing as she stood up. "I'll go back to town, I'll make sure whoever this is, every single member of his "Army". None of them leave alive." Melissa said as she cracked her knuckles. "Come with me, I'll move em out of town and you can get to Moira. She'll be alive, she's a tough one" Melissa said, though there was a welling in her gut, she was trying to hold herself together, but if this man had killed Moira, there would be nothing left of him.

"FIND HIM, HE WAS JUST HERE" A voice erupted from the main square of town. Melissa had arrived. With Olivia and the small child, via the use of her Yuki Yuki No Mi, she had created a sort of chariot for the duo to ride upon, while she herself wielded her flight technique. As she landed upon one of the flat roofs. She placed Olivia and the now quite girl down. The entire town had been placed in the square, A group of soldiers holding them while the remaining soldiers scouted the house. "BRING THEM ALL, THE REST OF THE SOLIDERS, HE CAN'T HAVE GOTTEN FAR" the strange man shouted. "The Ghost man, Arcolodgia Cage, HE SHALL PAY FOR WHAT HE DID TO MY MOTHER". The man screeched at his soldiers.

"I don't see Moira" Melissa whispered to Olivia. "He must have saved her....Cage" Olivia whispered. "You...you think so?" "We...We uhm, we've been spending a lot of time together while you've been on your journey" Olivia said, her face reddening in the process, she was certainly becoming bashful. "You know he ain't a nice guy right, and he's pretty much crazy. I swear the pricks had ten different personalities since I'v known him" Melissa said, raising her eyebrows. "Yeah...he's not entirely all.....there upstairs ya know...but......its exciting" Olivia said blushing. "I'll kill him if he even thinks about hurting you" "I know you will, but first we have him to deal with" Olivia said nodding to the man. "He's no issue" Melissa uttered, "Pretty cute too. Shame he hurt Moira though" Melissa said as she stepped up to the edge of the building. With her den den Mushi she would dial the den den that was present as Cage's place.

"Been a while clown boy, these soldier peeps are looking for you, seems like Olivia thinks you saved Moira, so if you did then awesome, if shes gonna be okay let me know then get yer pale ass out here, their searching house by house and another large group have joined in. I figured you won't want to miss what I'm going to do" Melissa said before hanging up. If he had agreed to meet she would wait for him.

"Duh. Olivia, take the kid and get to Cage's house, I'll make sure the guards don't follow ya" Melissa said, using her snow to lower Olivia and the child to the ground discreetly. She would use her flight to then ascend to make sure Olivia was not followed, while at the same time when Olivia was out of view she would negate her own technique to touch down gently upon the snowy ground of the Sakura kingdom. "You guys really should do your research" Melissa uttered as she took a step forward, her own snow gently mixing with the snow below. She continued to walk forward cracking her knuckles. The members of this town began to cheer. "SHUT UP, SHUT UPP, I AM PRINCE ASURA OF DRUM. YOU WILL HEED MY ORDERS" "YEAH, AND SHE's MELISSA DEVAROUX, THE FROST WITCH, A SHICHIBUKAI" one of the villagers shouted back. At this Asura's eyes widened. "No...." "Yes" Melissa said, a devilish smile crept upon her face.

"YOU" Asura growled through gritted teeth as Acno made himself known. "Well, he looks different....again" Melissa said to Olivia. "Mmmmhmmm, much hotter right" "Eugh, that's disgusting" Melissa would shake her head as Acno was now being surrounded by a group of forty-five men. The other forty-five were still on their way to the village. "What to do" "He could handle them on his own, he's gotten stronger, but like....maybe you could go down to him, everyones missed you, the past week and you being away, coming back to this" Olivia said, her eyes glistening. "Fine" Melissa said softly as she moved her leg. This tiny movement would seemingly teleport her, flowing through the air as if she were weightless. Her body appearing directly beside the now cornered EX-clown. "Someones looking cooler" The queen of snow said as she gave him a smirk, looking around the duo. "Is Moira okay?" She had not missed the fact that he had laughed down the den den mushi to her. She was simply playing a character for now. He would respect her. By the end of the day, he would be cowering from her, but for now they had more important things to deal with.

As she stood beside her crew mate. She would allow snow to flow from the soles of her feet, to mix in to the snow beneath her. The snow rose underneath the duo creating a pillar for them that rose higher than the army could grasp, allowing the duo to be seen by the captured prisoners. "HAHAHAHA, SHES BACK. SHES BACK" as the crowds cheered Melissa would wave a hand to them smiling. "SILENCE. I AM THE RED PRINCE, ROYALTY OF ALL OF DRUM, WHEN I ASK FOR SILENCE I GET SILENCE" he screeched in anger. "More drum royalty? You'd think I'd ended enough of those" Melissa said shrugging. "YEAH, AND SHE'S THE FROST WITCH, MELISSA DEVAROUX, A MEMBER OF THE SCHICHIBUKAI" one of the captured villagers shouted, which would bring on yet another round of applause. "Wh...what.....No, SHICHIBUKAI OR NOT, I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE" he shouted.

Within the blink of an eye, this man vanished, With such intense acceleration to his speed, Even Melissa had trouble keeping up with his burst of speed, she could see a blur movement, she would react by jumping, taking high into the sky via her flight technique just as the man made impact with her pillar of snow, his leg striking the snow with such force the compacted pillar cracked into dust. With his speed [boosted to 5] Acno would more than likely have been unable to see the movement. Melissa would float in place, that smile still evident on her face. "Well, looks like this sexy man has more up his sleeve" in less than a second or two, the man had returned to his previous location. Though his eyes were not upon Melissa, no they were glued to cage. "I have no quarrel with you Frost Witch, my fight is with the man who defeated my mother" he said, venom in his voice.

Laughter and groans. That was the sound from all around. Cage had fallen along with the pillar and not in a rather graceful manner. It was sheer luck that Asura went to show off by knocking down the pillar and did not go straight for Cage himself, otherwise the outclassed fighter would have certainly been taken out within the single strike. You see there had been no clash. Melissa, as stated prior, had taken to the sky to avoid faltering from the crumbling pillar that again as stated turned to literal snow dust. Thus he fell, and probably more than likely fell on his little butt. "Oooft, he can be an idiot sometimes" Olivia said wincing as the Three eyed member faltered. "Great, why do I attract fools" "YOU, YOUR THE COMMON FILTH THAT DARED TO HARM MY MOTHER, THIS IS ALL YOU HAD" Asura shouted, he was a typically shouty guy thats for sure. "Perhaps mother was weaker than I believed" he mumbled to himself, thus only he could hear it. His army, armed with spears and shields would move into strike Acno as he was upon the ground, though Melissa, who had already graced her own snow in the vast amount of snow of Drum would push her hands to the side.

This simple movement, graceful, basic but useful would force the snow below to erupt up in a dome before expanding outwards, this would push the entirety of the army back from her subordinate. Pushing them for four meters before she halted the walls movement, the dome was the only semi-finished, allowing for Acno to climb out. Melissa would land upon the half-completed wall, her body returning to her full human form. "You don't have buisness with me Mr Prince. Let me tell you something. I'v already quelled royalty of Drum before. Queen Evie and her King. I snuffed their life out. Now, I wasn't all for killing before, but I'v had a little change of heart. Some people don't deserve to live you see" Melissa uttered, her eyes glaring a hole through Asura. "You came into my town" Melissa said, stamping her foot upon the wall. As she stamped forth a row of spikes eighteen with great size burst forth from the wall of snow, skewering all the soldiers closest to the walls. Grunts and gasps, screams of pain erupted forth.

"YOU TIED UP THE CITIZENS OF MY TOWN" She shouted. Anger evident in her voice, she stamped fiercely once more, the thorns all around the wall erupting forward blasting forth even more skewing even more of the soldiers. This indeed caused even more screams, limpless bodies pushed forward as the spikes tore into more bodies, as they ripped apart through the bodies of those who were impaled previously. "and you hurt, the only woman who has been a mother to me" she said gently as her brows furrowed in anger. "YOU HURT MOIRA" she shouted. Though before she could stamp a third time, the royal prince himself roared, enhancing his speed like before. Though as he burst forth, Melissa's eyes watched the blur that came for her, only for this mans kick to flow through her logia body, causing him to fly passed her and skidding into the semi dome. "I WILL KILL YOU BOTH, I SWEAR ON MY NOBILITY, MY KINGDOM, THAT I WILL KILL YOU BOTH" The prince uttered. He had yet to use his dials, or his fire, he had tricks just like this logia woman. "A squad, fire at one of the hostages" he spoke into his wrist den den. Melissa's eyes widened as she looked forth, A gun shot sounded.

Time seemed to slow down, it was as if her eyes had adjusted to the speed of the bullet, like she could watch it but not react. Her eyes widened in horror as the two bullets spread from each other, imbedding themselves into the head of two of her friends. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Melissa screamed as she reached out her hand, snow lifted upwards from around the screaming civilians, eventually closing them off. It was good that she did this, for more bullets soon erupted forth, trying to pierce through the protective dome of snow, alas they did not possess the power to penetrate her power. Time stood still for her, her eyes beginning to fill with water, she released a scream so blood curling, that snow erupted from her body, bursting over and over again into the air, flowing into the region effortlessly, though she did not move, did not act. The Yuki Yuki No Mi user was wallowing.

As his hand moved to his lips, his vision followed cage, the man who had taken everything from him, his crown, his palace and more importantly his mother. As he extended his sword, the speed was great in terms of his eyes being able to just follow it, though it was aiming for his feet, this was a bad idea. Asura was a master with his feet, he had been involved in many battles and when opponents realised his feet where his key point, his strength, they always attempted to attack them. As simple movement, a tap upon the ground much like the use of soru would cause his entire body to seemingly phase through the attack as he moved, an afterimage created from the sheer burst of speed while Asura himself appeared behind the afterimage at a total of ten meters. He was showing off, he had yet to activate his dial enhanced weaponry [thus knowing his boots had any special capabilities would be an impressive feet]. Muscle memory kicked in for his defence, his ability to move, much like an ultra instinct to protect his strongest yet also weakest part. "A typical move, from a typical commoner, dirt" Asura uttered as he placed his hand down after making his call.

Asura would laugh, after the gunshots echoed, his eyes flickering to Melissa's posture, the female slumped slightly, the snow witch's breathing had accelerated, her hand moved to her heart, as if she had taken a bullet herself. Perhaps he should have used his snipers to have taken her out instead, but he had to show them, that they could not take him, that he was protected. "This town belongs to me, you may bow before me and I shall forgive you, having a government dog at my beck and call would certainly cement my reign" Asura said, his voice now full of confidence. "But first" he said, his eyes returning to Acno. "You die" he was confident that he had quelled the snow queen, that her posture showed him that she would not be a problem. "I SHALL SHOW YOU WHY THEY CALL ME THE RED PRINCE" the man shouted. As he screeched, his legs moved, shaking as if he was freezing, though this seemed to be his ritual, as seconds later his legs at his calfs and below ignited, burning with a crimson red fire.

"Keep up" Asura uttered as he vanished, His speed was unrealistic with the combination of his red leg style and the dials upon his shoes, he now had unparalleled speed, or so he believed. His movement was unviewable, and his attempt was a powerful roundhouse kick towards the right side of Acno's body, flames enhancing his strike to cause not only blunt force damage but also major burning damage.

With the Yuki Yuki No Mi user facing the other way, her hands holding her chest as the bullets died down, realizing they would not be able to penetrate her barrier. It wasn't until he heard the screams of Cage, with fatal level burns, some sound would certainly escape, no matter what, given they would be of fourth degree stature. It was only luck that would save him, or was it? The erupting snow Melissa had called forth during her scream was her snow age technique, allowing her the ability to freely manipulate all the snow within her domain. As Cage slammed hard against the snow dome, Melissa would turn, the tears in her eyes overflowing, she studied her comrade, his unmoving body, the sizzling of the wound, his entire right side was flaming, his clothing burning away causing the fire to grow. "NO" Melissa screamed as she crushed her hand, causing part of the dome above Cage to burst down on top of him, not only smothering the flames but helping to sooth the vastly burnt area. He would certainly not escape unscathed, with a wound that would have certainly been classified as fatal, with the snow and the quick thinking its deduction to severe would be a better classification. "Hahaha, thats all he had? Those ghosts lingering, they indicate he is alive? A devil fruit power no doubt, death should exile this power from his body. Not dead yet" The man said, though his legs were on flames, his body began to shiver. "Damn this cold"

"You have yet to feel the cold" Melissa uttered as she wielded her Soru, her body movement though not superior to the mans speed was unable to be registered by his vision, so appearing behind him was nothing for the woman of snow. "You will see what true coldness feels like" She said, her voice was harsh, uncaring, full of poison. As she spoke, snow erupted around the area, expanding over a vast seventy five meter area. "WHAT THE FUCK" the man shouted, using his own speed to put a distance of ten meters between them. "MONSTER" Asura shouted, backing off in shock. The entirety of the body of the woman had changed in a mere instant, growing in size, flowing into the colour of snow. Her face became demonic, with large fangs. "Thats Right" Melissa uttered. "Why....why....why....the fire....it....it should keep me warm..." Asura uttered as he shivered. He would try to move his hands, looking down at them, they had rapidly begun to turn blue. "Wh....You...Witch" he said through gritted teeth, trying to keep his body from shaking. "Are you shivering from the cold...or fear" Melissa said, her voice much deeper in this form.

"I WILL END THIS WINTER" The man said as he charged forth. Now his speed was impressive, Melissa couldn't follow it. So when his foot struck her side, she felt the pain, yet this firey leg did not halt her logia power, it did not allow him to strike her true body, so even though she winced in pain, she fought through, using her body as a catalyst for her snow funeral technique to restrain the fiery leg, before reforming her demonic body. With her snow being superior to this mans power coupled with the use of her demonic form, he had made a grave error in assuming that his fire would defeat her snow. A devilish laughter echoed as the Yuki-ohnna opened her maw, large and wide before delving it into the red prince's shoulder. Her long elongated teeth penetrating his weak flesh easily. His screams filled the skies, yet soon after his voice would falter, as the wound began to leak crimson liquid, that same liquid would soon begin to freeze over. Her coldness wrapping through the mans body, he was struggling to speak now. The two remained in a frozen deadlock. Just exactly what would happen now?

Melissa really didn't hear the spirit echoing in her ear, the duo of fire and snow were in a battle, her mouth crunching into the body, ice and cold smoke flowing from the wound, while at the same time the flames being quelled by the stronger snow tried to keep lit. The depression of Asura from the singular ghost was being enhanced by the vast cold brought on by Melissa. "I WILL NOT" he screeched through the cold air. "MAXIMUM POWER" Asura screeched as he placed all the power into his captured foot. The heat rapidly enhanced, the heat was too much, and with vast power, she crunched down one final time, especially from the pain of the heat that pushed the snow away, Melissa had no choice but to yank, without even putting all of her might into it, she wrenched a mass chunk of the mans flesh with her. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHH" Asura screamed as his shoulder was all but essentially wrenched from his body, a mass large mass of flesh ripped from him, the intense cold having already frozen it over so that there would have been no blood loss.

Spitting the large chunk of flesh from her maw, Melissa would simply glare, her demoness form shaking. Asura's body now had turned blue, his shivering halting, his entire body puffing up, as she tried to mumble a sentence, as he tried to stand, his body gave out. Falling to the snowy ground. The demonic creature of snow would scream, with such a scream the snow covered her foe, constricting him, his fire had died out, his body was running on low power, he was done. But he was not the only one. As Melissa screamed the snow jetted from her, expanding into a massive one hundred meter snow storm, encompassing all the houses within the area, Olivia and the child huddled together, unsure on what was happening. How long had passed? Ten minutes? Fifteen minutes? No one would know, from the intense storm, screams could be heard, screams from men and women, different vocals echoing through the blizzard, many ended with gargles, until the snow flowed to an end, and in the center of town, dripping from her maw, a crimson liquid, covering her top half. She had ended many a life in the last fifteen minutes, twenty perhaps? The remaining members of the army had fled, Melissa being unable to track them had simply slaughtered all those she could see, bodies lay around the "arena". The dome of snow faltered as Melissa breathed heavily, allowing those of her village to see the carnage she had unleashed.

Though her eyes now sat upon the duo who had been killed. Her allies, her friends and her family. "I'm sorry" she said softly. "I couldn't protect everyone" she said falling to her knees, her head looking to the blood stained snow below her, she was ashamed. She needed to make this known, that this town was hers, under her protection. The World Government would be told.

"Yer a silly one" Moira said as she hobbled slowly in the snow, holding the wound that had been patched up. She placed a gentle hand upon the shoulder of the Yuki Yuki No Mi user. "Diano and Shira, they were good people, they fought hard against Asura before being quelled. Ye needn't shed tears. Looking around Melissa, it seems like, the Frost Witch is back" Melissa would look up slowly, the tears gently falling. "Its a gid yin hen, all us Water 7 people, we were hopin ye'd find yer way, ye gave everything up fer us, and we didnae ken how tae tell ye to stop, yer no needin tae protect us, to pit yer goal at rest, fate brought us tgether, but ye stayed, ye fought and now its time fer ye tae get back tae yer ain, we'll always be here fer ye, yer this towns sister, daughter, mither and protector, ye'll always be our best friend, but now, its time fer ye tae get back oot in tae the world, and avenge that father, fuck those marines, fuck em all, Show them what happens when ye fuck over the Frost Witch" Moira would say.

As Melissa looked around, even those holding the bodies of their friends and family, they nodded, smiled through tears and in one deafening roar, shrieked her name. She couldn't help but sob uncontrollably as if a weight lifted from her shoulder. "Mums right, You have given us so much more than anyone ever thought possible. You protected us from the marines, from murderers. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be here, I'd be in some slave market or some guys slave or something. You built a place and did whatever it took to protect us, you'd have probably slaughtered all those marines, if the seakings hadn't intervened, and when you realized that, you worked with your enemies, put everything on hold, your life, your reason all for us"

"Because ....your....all...my...family"

Melissa sobbed, snot flowing from her nose, tears in her eyes, she wailed so bloody hard, that Olivia and Moira pulled her to her feet and pulled her in. "And what kind of family would we be, if we kept holding you back" Olivia smiled. "A feckin shitty yin right folks" she said nodding her head. Roars of approval, until someone, one person pointed to the ground. "Should someone deal with him". Melissa would wipe her face, smiling as she shook her head. Olivia ran to the passed out guy. "Still breathing" she said. "Get him to my practice, I'll do what I can" "Make sure you save him." Melissa said. "He's a fucking pain in the ass, a total dick wad, and he's crazy as fuck, but.....he's family" Melissa said shaking her head as she smiled.

"Thank you guys, I...I need to take this guy, hand him over. I'm going to Water 7, I wanna see the start, then I'm going to become stronger, to protect us all, and....to take out those bastards who fucked over my dad" The crowd continued to cheer. "Give those two the best burial you can" Melissa said as she touched each body. Soon she would be gone once more, with the bounty secured in her little snow gurney, she had been in touch with the marines who were actually sending over two boats, one that was being given to her along with a marine navigator, finally getting what she was promised after the shocking destruction of the seatrain. Given that her ally and crewmate was not in the picture and was currently being treated, she would thus receive all the beli rewarded from handing over Asura. With Asura onboard the other marine vessel, Melissa and the hot man Darius would soon set sail, log pose set to water 7. Another ten new members of her crew on board. The real journey begins.
