Baioretto was optimal again and enjoying it so! he hadn't appreciated how good it felt to believe before but now he truly began to understand what that sensation was like, he had a sense of pride about surviving an explosion that would have killed any other. He strutted through Jaya Island, by his side his new crew mate and navigator Kuba who joined alongside Risaka. "Oi Kuba." asked Baioretto which caused the giant bear to flinch and lose focus on walking and stumble which made Baioretto move out of Kuba's way while he caught his footing. "Ya know, I noticed every time you're around me you're a bit jumpy." joked Baioretto but deep down he meant it, he noticed that Kuba was always stuttering or something when it came to Baioretto. It made him wonder exactly what his crew mate was so nervous for. "Oh me? No, no I'm not nervous Baioretto!" said a even more nervous Kuba. "I-i'm just a bit clumsy for my size is all!" said Kube which made Baioretto chuckle just a bit. "Me too buddy, me too." The two continued their work through town with a taped up Baioretto getting all eyes on him which started becoming noticeable even to him. "Am I famous or something?" asked Baioretto. "You are kinda famous as a young up and coming pirate, not to mention you look like a mummy.." for a moment Baioretto had forgot about the wounds that plagued him, and that was only because they weren't going to define him on the battlefield.

"Baioretto." Asked Kuba with a monotone pitch in his voice causing Baioretto to stop and turn around. "What's up Kuba?" asked his captain before the bear looked Baioretto in the eyes "What exactly are we doing here? If you don't mind me asking." asked Kuba which brought a smile on Baioretto's face like never before. "Well, considering my body is about half strength right now I wanted to see if there was somebody out there who could measure my current strength." Kuba looked genuinely confused at Baioretto's words which made Baioretto confused "You okay Kuba?" to which the bear yelled back "Are you!" Baioretto burst into laughter. "You are barely alive and the slightest of intense movements would probably open your wounds but you want to test your power?" Baioretto walked to Kuba and tapped him on the right shoulder "That's exactly what I plan to do." he said before getting back to his walk through town.

The duo's stroll continued into a town in Jaya where things were completely destroyed. Bodied in debris, burned buildings and those who looked too traumatized to make sense of what happened here. At this point Baioretto didn't really care what happened to those who lived here, he just wanted to know who did this and where could they be found at. Approaching a farmer who looked awe struck in the moment Baioretto tapped him "Oi, old man can you tell me who did this?" asked Baioretto before the old man turned around and spoke as soft as he could "The best swordsman on Jaya Island." Baioretto looked at Kuba who was sweating more profoundly than normal, the look in Baioretto's eyes on the other hand seemed like a man possessed. "You're telling me one person did this? Just one?" the gleefulness in Baioretto's voice was disrespectful towards those of this town as he himself seemed happy someone this strong was around. "His name is Issho.. you can find him at the Southwestern shore." Baioretto put his right arm on the old mans shoulder and nodded before he started running in the direction of the port that he was told about. Something about fighting someone who could take out an entire town with what looked like ease made Baioretto a happy man. Kuba tried to keep up and run behind Baioretto but the King of Hearts was moving increasingly fast as if he were using his devil fruit to accelerate his movements. The prospect of battle made someone as strong as him so focused!!

Baioretto was demented and deprived when it came to combat, it was nothing he wouldn't do as a means of giving the kill, that is how he was raised with the assassins code. "Wait for me Baioretto!" yelled Kuba as he ran behind his captain who seemed determined to find this Issho fellow and challenge him to a fight. As the rocks of the shore started pressing against Baioretto's feet he realized he was here at the docks. His haki was activated just in case Issho was the type to sneak up on his opponents instead of fighting them head on. Standing near the docks Baioretto noticed this place looked like a ghost town, as if no one even came to this area anymore. A winded Kuba caught up to Baioretto and stood next to him regaining his form. "Do you see him?" spoke a breath gathering Kuba. Still analyzing the area Baioretto spoke "Not.. ye" before he could finish he noticed something shoot into his airspace of his haki. Jumping off his feet kicking Kuba to the side Baioretto pushed off of Kuba causing him to fly in the opposite direction of the bear as a giant wave of wind ripped against the ground upwards to the heavens. Sliding against the ground right hand gripping the pavement as his feet glided the ground. A smiling Baioretto looked up and noticed a rather slender individual wielding a long blade, his body was very lanky and his hair platinum and his eyes green.

"Issho I assume?"

Stabbing his blade into the ground the platinum hair man smiled, "In the flesh" he replied.

Smiling Baioretto stood up and dusted himself off, as for Kuba.. well he went and found shelter to watch the battle unfold. Baioretto drew Bori and launched himself forward attempting to stab Bori directly through the heart of Issho but was met by his own blade knocking Bori upwards causing Baioretto's chest to be open which allowed Issho to unleash a vertical slash to the body of Baioretto but the former assassin turned pirate wasn't stupid and anticipated that which was great because he himself turned to lightning and made the attack pointless in the scope of everything. Before Baioretto could properly counter attack Issho was already peddling backwards creating space between the two. Five meters back Issho smirked "So a logia user? A lightning one at that.." spoke the swordsman with some wariness in his voice. Back together Baioretto smiled as he took his jacket and sunglasses off revealing his white tee and all his bandages. It was clear Baioretto wasn't even at full power and he was preparing to go toe to toe with Jaya Island's best swordsman.

"Seems you intend on getting serious. Tell me how do you figure this to work? With all of those injuries you got there." spoke Issho as he twirled his sword at the mention of Baioretto's wounds. "I gotta make sure this lives up to the hype right?" joked Baioretto as he started to surge with electricity. It started with his legs and it was clear the energy Baioretto was emitting was something of an ability of his. Baioretto had to figure out his next attack properly. Charging Issho just to gauge how he reacts to Baioretto's skills and course of action. The two men crossed blades and it was apparent that Issho was the stronger of the two as he started forcing Baioretto backwards with his blade. The height difference between the two was already astonishing so pushing Baioretto back with the blade added on to this. Once again Issho slide his blade up knocking Bori into the sky out of Baiorettos hands leaving him fully exposed. Coming down for a slash Baioretto thought fast as he as about to be opened up like a target.

Vanishing before the strike came down Baioretto was above Issho coming down with Bori attempting to take off the shoulder of Issho but was blocked mid air before Baioretto was able to move back to adjust the strike. As the blades clashed Issho smirked before pulling his blade back causing Baioretto to full downwards into a right uppercut from the swordsman which sent Baioretto upwards and back 9 meters to the ground. "I thought you were a swordsman." said Baioretto while Bori was sitting next to where Issho was. "Hmm, you're an interesting person. Mind telling me your name kid?" asked Issho who took a seat on the ground awaiting Baioretto to get back up. Pushing off the ground Baioretto stood up, "Baioretto D. Fuentes" said Baioretto. Issho raised his right eyebrow, "I've heard the name before. You're the kid everyone's been talking about here lately. Actually hoped to find you here, see how that all works out." said Issho with a bit of sarcasm in his voice. "Really now?" Issho started to sigh "I'm guessing this means you're ready to continue?" saying ever so snarky to Baioretto. "Damn right!" replied the young pirate.

The battle had raged on with Issho getting the better of the exchanges with Baioretto, once he started timing the movements of Baioretto and highlighting his counters before he even knew what he was countering made it that much harder for Baioretto to even plan a course of attack. The bandages that Baioretto had were leaking blood and that was mainly in part to how he was moving with his abilities and the nicks from the wounds Issho was giving him. Everything was hurting right now and Baioretto was starting to feel the effects. Naturally he slowed down, even with his body lit up like lightning. Taking deep breathes Baioretto stood in front of Issho, just three meters away as the blood oozed from his wounds, Issho stood and looked on. "Incredible, this boy has severe physical trauma to his body and is somehow still standing and ready to fight. Truly remarkable." Starting to circle his prey Issho felt as if he was close to delivering the killing blow before Baioretto essentially vanished and went into hiding which made Issho laugh. He knew it was a matter of time before Baioretto truly started getting on the defensive. "I hope you didn't leave the battlefield Baioretto, I hope you stayed to finish this battle." spoke Issho as he eyed the several ships on the docks.

There were four ships on the docks and Baioretto happened to be in the one on the right in the middle of the four, he was on the lower deck searching for medicine or alcohol to pour on his wounds. The pain from the burns were starting to make Baioretto black out but he stayed on his feet even though he was wobbling from pain. Finding a bottle of alcohol Baioretto would pour it on to both of his arms before he let out a muted pant, he fell into a chair and started focusing on his breathing which was fast and deep at the moment. It was again the bottle on the desk began to shake before Baioretto knew it the shaking grew as a calm wind came through the ship and the ship was exposed to the seas. Baioretto looked around as what he was left with was almost a raft at sea. Jumping from the chair Baioretto would essentially jump back to shore through his high velocity movements, looking up he saw Issho with high ground slashing towards the ships. He had carved them up in an effort to fish Baioretto out which he successfully did. The short break Baioretto had was worth it as he stormed the rock formation Issho was on and started punching it with all his might causing Issho to fall. "Shit" yelled
Issho.

A charge of lightning lit up around Baioretto's right arm as he cocked back and gave everything he had to one hit and that hit was amazing, the punch caught Issho right in the chest and sent him through what remained of the ships he carved up straight into the ocean. After connecting the punch Baioretto would fall to his knees and slowly turn it into him leaning against the debris. He was spent on energy and his body was starting to lock, Baioretto put everything he had into that punch and from the looks of it the damage was just enough to send Issho back to where he came from. 15 meters from Baioretto to his left he looked over. "Kuba, I think it's over now you can come out." spoke Baioretto to Kuba who was hiding before some rock formation. "I was nervous for a minute Baioretto, that Issho was really strong." it was then soaking wet from the water with a giant rip through his shirt revealing his scar from Baioretto's punch "Is, Issho Is really strong." said the swordsman as he approached Baioretto and Kuba.

The bandages of Baioretto were blood soaked as the cuts from Issho were starting to add up. Baioretto couldn't escape Issho's speed and finesse as easily as he once thought but for the time being he was going to make do with what he had and that was his wits. The battle raged on and there was a seven meter gap between the two locked in battle. Baioretto's body was still starting to shut down, but have no fear, he himself was a great warrior and knew when it was time to turn the jets on and close out a victory. "Oi, so tell me.. are you always this antagonistic or is it just today?" asked Baioretto to which Issho swiped his blade, removing the blood from his opponent to the ground. This made Baioretto angry as he charged forward in a frenzy. With each punch through he was cut by Issho and his lightning was barely masking each strike making it harder for Baioretto to completely dodge the attacks. "If i don't figure this out quick, i'm probably gonna die.." thought Baioretto to himself while staring down Issho. Stepping forward Issho stabbed his blade forward as an attempt to stab Baioretto but the purple haired pirate saw his movements as clear as day, stepping to his left Baioretto would watch Issho go past him, turning around coming behind Issho Baioretto would throw his left knee into Issho's back which hit him with so much force he left the ground.

A gleeful smile from Baioretto as he took his movement to deliver another one of those charged up punches to the descending Issho which sent him into the debris from before going straight through it into the rock formation said debris came from. Baioretto took no time as he dashed over to the stationary Issho and unleashed a barrage of punches to his back which caused a scream from Issho with each punch. By the time Baioretto stopped Issho's back was burnt crispy from the the attacks. Looking at the back of Issho gave Baioretto a flashback, his mind started racing as he thought about his arms and his body overall. The pain he was currently dealing with from his burns made him angry they made him want to take it out on Issho, he needed no Baioretto wanted someone to feel his pain. "You understand your defeat yet?" asked Baioretto as the wounded Issho was panting in pain. Baioretto would grip Issho by the neck and throw him from the rock that he was essentially carved into towards the ground. As Issho made an effort to stand Baioretto started to laugh.

Stepping on Issho's back with his left leg, Baioretto began applying pressure before he bent down and grabbed both of Issho's arms, "Wha-what are you doing!" yelled Issho frantically Baioretto smirked as he started to push off his foot to Issho's back pulling the arms away from the body "Making you understand me." said Baioretto as Issho screamed in pain, it felt as if his arms were being ripped off the socket and that's because they were. The screams of agony could be heard all across the shore line, Baioretto was trying to kill Issho and make a statement, the screaming continued and you could literally hear joints keeping the bones connected just ripping, the more pain Issho was in the less audible his plea's were. Baioretto had this twisted look on his face, Kuba who was mere meters from his captain looked on in disbelief. "Baioretto he's had enough." said Kuba but his cries went unanswered, "HE'S HAD ENOUGH CAPTAIN." to which Baioretto stopped and looked down, Issho was crying from the trauma as he knew he wasn't using his arms anytime soon, his body was destroyed and it was all thanks to Baioretto. "Load him up, we have shit to do." said Baioretto who had plans.

With Issho defeated Baioretto didn't have much else to do on this day, he came out to test himself in combat and made sure that he didn't have anything easy which is exactly why he went on to find Issho, that man proved to be everything and then some as a great swordsman and a formidable warrior, If he wasn't on different sides from Baioretto the two could have formed a great partnership as crew mates. However things didn't play out that way and now Issho is crippled. "So what's the plan captain?" asked Kuba which made Baioretto smile "Drop him off here, and collect the reward, I'm down here so they don't see me and get the wrong idea." Baioretto was in a cellar in the lower docks of this ship the duo had stole from a merchant on Mock Town. "Gotcha... Are you okay?" asked Kuba who seemed genuinely concerned with the well being of Baioretto who had just recently.. maimed a man with his bare hands. Baioretto once more smiled and let out a little chuckle "Of course I'm fine, I just needed to pass on a message to those that try us on the seas. I'm Baioretto D. Fuentes and I'm to be feared." said Baioretto would would close the cellar door and let Kuba do what he had to do.

Kuba put Issho over his shoulders and walked to the upper level of the docks, once there he noticed there were several marines waiting to "greet" him upon exiting the ship. "I'm here to cause no harm, just to collect the bounty on a pirate named Issho, from Jaya Island." said Kuba who had never went this long without stuttering in a tense situation. The marines cleared out of his way as Issho was put on the ground gently by Kuba and a marine ran off to grab Issho's bounty poster. Coming back the marine looked at the poster than at Kuba. "You did this to him? Damn, I wouldn't do this to my worst enemy" said the marine who saw how bent out of shape the arms of Issho were. He didn't even look human in that regard due to what Baioretto did. "The reward will be brought out shortly." Kuba nodded his head as he awaited his reward, long and behold the reward arrived in a large amount of bags. Placing the money on the ship Kuba would set sail back to Jaya Island as his captain had business to attend to.
