There was apparently a business opportunity for Sofia right here in Drum. Coincidentially, she had overheard a small discussion about a certain transport being needed, and Sofia was quick to pick on up that she could make a good service proposal there. After having arranged in a quick meeting at a tavern about the details of this transfer, it was finally time to seal the deal. The item to be transferred was quite valuable, so it wasn’t the sort of thing they could exchange out in the open lightly. So, instead, given that the two of the were related to the Marines (Sofia via her special bodyguard, Anna Blue) they had arranged to meet up at one of the Marine Stations that were here. After the big tussle that had been here, as mentioned in the News Coo, there were more World Government reinforcements around, something that Sofia could take advantage of.
And so, Sofia and Anna Blue were waiting inside of the Station, seated in the little lobby that was in front of the main desk, waiting for their contact to arrive with the special package and hand it over to them.
“Do you think they’ll come?” Anna asked, as she adjusted her Marine cap. “For all we know, this could have all been a huge ruse.”
“Nothing risked, nothing gained.” Sofia then softly mentioned. “We are a bit early anyways. We should worry once he is amply late for this little date.”
“That rhymed.” Anna chuckled.
“I know.” Sofia replied with an amused smile. “I didn’t mean to.”
