Area Description

Upon getting up Heaven's Gate the first location you'd spot would be Angel Island. Depending on how you got up Heaven's Gate will determine the reception you will receive by the people, as news travels fast on Skypiea. If the toll was paid and you have more than five people with you you may get a parade for making it all the way here, that lasts two days. You are made out to be a star and offered many things during this whole ordeal, though you will be asked to pay for each one. You also will be given a discount at all the stores located on Lovely Street . But, after those two days you will not be the star of attention and will be treated just like a regular joe.

If you refused or are unable to to pay to head up Heaven' Gate you will be allowed to. But, a picture will be taken of everyone on the vessel(s) with a special Dial camera. It will only take a day for them to get your new Wanted poster up and spread on Angel Island. You will not get a parade as you won't be a welcomed guest. Also, the prices for items will be doubled. Only after you pay what you owe or speak with the Mayor about the matter will the prices go back down. The Mayor also charges a fee of 10,000,000 Extol per person when speaking with him.

Angel Island also is connected to Shandia Village; a transportation service being available to get between both. Shandia Island isn't poverty stricken and only a few people live in tents but it isn't as lavish as Angel Island. As the Island is for those that can't afford the living costs on Angel Island.

As you can tell Extol runs the society of Skypiea. As everything comes at a cost, no matter what. This is because Angel Island and Shandia Village only judge based on the amount of Extol you have.
